Food was really bad, frozen then fried bar food. Small portions surprised me (jn a bad way) Service was completely cold and unfriendly from the moment we walked in. Our party of four ordered chicken nacho's for an appetizer and assorted entrees. After waiting forever for our app, we stopped the waitress and said specifically "we would like our app before the main course...DON'T bring out the app with everything else". She said no problem, the nacho's would be out soon. A long 10 minutes later, here comes a big tray of food, and we look down and sure enough, it's the chicken nacho's along with all of our main courses. And to top it off, the nacho's were cold like they were sitting back there for a while. Horrible waitress. No apology. Food was pretty bad. Chicken cheesesteak was tiny and roll was horrible. Wings tasted like the frozen ones from Karns...boney with little meat. I heard they had a huge beer selection here. No more, it was an average selection. Will never be back. Don't go expecting much.

I want so much to write a good review about the Field House, but there's a problem. This sports bar has the best ambiance of any sports bar around here. There are multiple TVs, some right at the tables. The people who go there are cool and fun to watch sports with. But, oh my, something has gone awry in the last year. Where the food was once tasty and succulent (wings, black bean soup, burgers), it has now become lackluster and disappointing. My co-diner's wings were way overcooked, but the honey barbecue sauce was still delicious as we remembered it. But, oy vey, my steak! Ewww. It was supposed to be marinated and cooked with herbs, but instead it was plain and tasted like liver--you know how it is when an establishment uses old, cheap meat. Disgusting! And my male co-diner wants me to point out that the gorgeous chatty waitresses were no longer there, but rather chunky plain girls (his words, not mine) that would lead one to believe that all is not well with the Field House's ownership. But guys, I REALLY want to love this place. Maybe it was just a bad night. The cold has been getting to everybody...that must be it. And the cute, bangin' waitresses were probably resting up for the Super Bowl festivities. For watching sports and downing some good brew, I give the Field House 5 stars, but for food and service, sorry...3 is all I can muster.

Sometimes I ask myself why I keep going back to the Fieldhouse. Given that I reside in Etters, and there are not many choices close by, I think that may be what keeps bringing me back. In case you are wondering I tend to dine here at least twice monthly. Which brings me to the food, in summary it's basically just your average bar food. The Fieldhouse specializes in wings, and that's exactly what I go with usually. Unfortunately very limited selection of wing flavors available. My last two visits have been less than stellar. Both times my wings were received cold. And my wife's chili was even cold. And it wasn't like the place was bustling at the time. The server also mentioned they were downsizing their selection of craft brews which was a major disappointment for myself as well. The new fries they are now serving are awful as well as they look and taste like they sit for long periods. I'm not one to complain because I always fear what repercussions might be taken out on my food behind the scenes. Honestly though if this trend continues with the cold food I will simply take my money and make the drive to some other restaurant. Last but not least I need to mention the hostesses. Upon arrival I am never greeted as to feel welcomed, and that being said I guess a smile is too much to ask for as well. Don't look at your customers when they arrive like you don't want to see them. This place can do better, and I hope it does before its too late!

I just had lunch there and had horrible service. I was with some friends and ordered there wings "chicago style" which is served in top of fries. We waited for about 30+ minutes for our food. The wings were good. I'll give them that. But I needed a refill on my drink so I could finish my lunch. The waitress NEVER came around. I actually walked up to the bar after about another 15 minutes and asked a guy there for a refill. My friends were already finished with their meals. After I finished lunch we waited another 20 minutes for our check when another lady came around and asked if needed any drink refills. We obviously didn't have any food in front of us! We told her we just wanted the check. Even though the wings were good, it's not worth the hassle. I will never be back. I wouldn't even give them 1 star but Yelp says I need to add a rating. So 1 star it is.

I've probably gone here about 20 times over the years and its one of my favorites. The beer and food is reasonably priced and tastes great. I usually get the chicken ranch wrap or wings. They have live bands playing on Fridays and Saturdays. I don't think their dining area is really set up well for that as far as the sound goes but its free entertainment. If you head downstairs they have a seperate bar and music blasting on the speakers. We've brought kids here during the week which works out nice as they have TVs set up at every booth and the kids seem to like that.

Great atmosphere, people, and draft beer selection, especially for a sports bar. Most of the waitstaff is excellent - prompt, friendly, etc.. There is plenty of seating at the bar, or bar tables and it's a nice layout - not somewhere you feel claustrophobic. Also nice that it's not too loud for conversation. Drinks are priced reasonably, including micros, which is a big selling point. They have daily drink specials too. Their wings are fantastic - arguably the best around - but the rest of the menu is limited and leans towards mediocrity.

I recently visited the Field house after a friend recommended the place. I was familiar with the location since I had been there when it was Kclingers Publick House. They don't have the great selection or beer menu of Kclingers, however they retained the bar completed with about 29 taps. Most are common like Molson and Miller Lite, however they do carry Sam Adams and Sam Adams Seasonal(currently Noble Pils ) and 6 Troegs taps as well as a couple from Dogfish Head. I was able to meet up with some friends I haven't seen for 13+ years that I served in the Army with in Germany. We were served quickly and were checked on frequently - the food came to us hot even though it wasn't the greatest pub food - I had the garlic and herb wings and my buddies got traditonal cheeseburgers. I will return to see what's on tap in the future and hopefully try more of the wings since they have about 20 different varieties including Teriyaki, Barbecue, Garlic, Hot to name a few. It is hard not to compare the place to Kclingers as I knew the bartender, but they have a little work to do to make it seem more service focused and not just your average sports bar.

We had our work Christmas party at this place . Had about 30 to 40 people here, we all ordered off the menu. Not one of us had a complaint and we all enjoyed the food. They have a very good selection of draft beers. Wings were awesome ! I would definitely go back. I thought the prices were fair ! I think it's more of a bar food - sandwiches and munchies place. This is what they are good at. But, people in our group ordered the steak and loved it. Franzen keiner on tap YUM!!!!!!!

Great food and wonderful beer on tap... along with a full bar. These folks are really hard workers and I've always had good food, no matter what I've ordered from the menu. Bands are top notch and the crowd loves the music here!

I truly wanted to review the food. But when my first beer arrived with a piece of the keg apparatus IN it ... and the bartender didn't seem to care that much ... I got out of there. Quickly.

Don't have grand expectations, its a bar in Etters. With that in mind, they have a good selection of beers and the wings are really good. Outdoor seating also for nice days, lots of TVs for watching sports.

Not a bad place to go for South Central PA. Nice selection if bar food (we usually just dine at the bar). Friendly service, you can tell it is a local hangout as the servers/bartenders usually have some conversations going on with many patrons. Not the cleanest, but for price and concept it is one of our quick, go-to stops.

Ugh...where to begin? The ambiance is terrible, filthy air vents, antique televisions, cheesy beer posters everywhere in place of an actual theme, less than stellar wait staff, and horrible...I mean godawful...food. I ordered the California Cheesesteak. Ah, it was like being in the Golden State...if upon arrival I bought generic Steak Um's at the grocery store and fried them up in week-old grease. Don't ever go here..almost as bad as Arooga's!

You visit here for happy hour and maybe some wings, but it's a bar, in central PA, so don't expect much. The only reason we usually end up here is to catch up with work friends over a happy hour when we're visiting PA. There are a few local brews on tap, so it works for me. The food seems a little overpriced, but it's not bad, just not amazing. Ask for the wifi password since you get 0 reception in the building.

Agree with previous reviewer about a place to avoid because it's filthy, but disagree that I'd ever come back for the wings. Wings are mediocre at best, and rest of menu is worse than that. Service is almost non existent and atmosphere is about what you'd expect from a cheap dive. Avoid and find another place, any place...

This used to be Kclingers... I miss it. Anyway. This is a great sports bar type of place for bar food. Try the Chicago Style wings if you're a hot wings type. They are tasty. Overall, not much to complain about. The place is typically clean, the beer selection is nice, alot on draft, especially with some local brew choices (Troeg's). This is a local hangout and with many TVs, it's a good place to catch a game. My big complaint, I guess, would be the inconsistent service. Sometimes you get a great server or bartender, other times, no. So, it's hit or miss.

if you are looking for awesome wings with great blue cheese, you have come to the right place. they have the best sauces around and the biggest wings. tiger wings are a MUST. i don't know what they do to their blue cheese but it is awesome, they add some kind of spice to it or they make it themselves. i need to ask them. so as you may gave guessed from my review, i really only go there for the wings. i have had their loaded field house fries, which are amazing. people are always friendly and there is lots seating

Great selection of beer, loved the casual, hole in the wall atmosphere. Seems to be a local favorite. Food was delicious. Wings were tender, their wing sauce is made in house and delicious. I had the buffalo chicken salad, amazing and my party had wings, onion rings(great) and a buffalo chicken wrap. The hamburgers looked so good. Everyone I was with raved about their food including me. This is a must for a sports game or weekend. If you have never been here before, comes up pretty quickly, it's right off the road, parking in back.

Have only been there once...but really enjoyed the grilled buffalo chicken wrap! The buffalo sauce was yummy! I also liked the fresh cut fries!
