I've come twice about 5 years ago and over the weekend with friends. It hasn't changed much. What stayed the same is the fabulous personal service and wonderful home-style Italian food. Years ago I came for s business dinner during the week and we were served huge portions family-style and I was happy to come back enjoying a conventional dinner with friends. We tried the Filet Mignon special and the Tilapia which was great. Everything is unique and made to order. The food is fabulous. The desserts are also handmade and delicious. Another bonus is it is BYOB which we like.

It is about time we add a review for this wonderful restaurant after many, many years of patronizing them. We are constantly drawn back because of the spectacular food and menu. The veal is fantastic. There are always specials that expand the offerings. Last time there, they had scallops, or clams, or oysters, in garlic wine sauce, either as an appetizer, or over pasta as an entree. Delicious. The sauces always intrigue. And, their BYOB policy is always a plus! The small dining rooms allow for a more intimate dining experience. We have always saved this place for special occasions, but, really, it deserves to be a "regular" spot! Save room for dessert. The best suggestion I can give is to share everything, so you can try various dishes.

We have been to this restaurant on several occasions. The food is fantastic. Fran takes great pains to make sure every meal is perfect. I love the Clams Casino - Best I have had anywhere in the Lehigh Valley. Their steaks are delicious as is the Chicken Marsala. Make sure you save room for dessert. You won't be disappointed. Its BYOB

Fantastic restaurant. Fresh made pastas and well prepared meat and seafood dishes. The owners are very attentive and not opposed to whipping up a dish that's not on the menu. Our party was overwhelmed by the generous portions and kind hospitality of the staff. Their delicious homemade deserts are enough to share among your friends. Definitely a gem located in Easton.

This is a must try place in Easton located in a victorian on the corner of a street. After the walk up the stairs to the restaurant we were greeted by an older man who happily told us he could accommodate us after looking at his handwritten reservation book. The greeting was warm, and the building was decorated with cherubs and Christmas decorations/poinsettias and lights. The dining room was small and intimate - and everyone in their was well dressed, which was a nice touch. We browsed the menu and soon realized it was a BYOB - we love the idea - we were just disappointed we did not have a bottle of wine with us. The penne with shrimp and crab stood out to me because it was a mix of seafood, and it was worth it. There were large pieces of shrimp and crab, and tons of pasta - way too much to finish. The sauce was a light cream sauce. My dining mates enjoyed their fish and chicken marsala. Everything was made fresh to order, and did take a little time because of that. It was certainly not excessive by any means, just what one would expect from a home cooked meal. The service was great, and the owners, the older man who greeted us at the door, as well as his wife, walked around to make sure that we were satisfied with our meals. It was apparent they were truly concerned when I hadn't eaten all of my pasta, but I insisted there was just so much, and that was the truth. We wished we also had room for dessert. This will definitely be a must go for my partner and I when we are in the Easton area visiting friends.

Outstanding little family restaurant in Easton. I've been going since it opened and in fact, hosted my company christmas party for a few years there until we outgrew it. The food is outstanding. Quote frankly, when I'm there, I feel loved by the Italian family I never had but always wanted. I wish I could go there more often.

Best restaurant ever!!!! I always have the filet au poivre..it's delicious!!! We always get salads and desserts as well. Be sure to try their homemade chocolate fudge pie. It's the BEST. The decor is wonderful and I love that it is a small restaurant. I have never been disappointed here. It will always be my favorite restaurant!!!!

Cherubina is a neat BYOB situated on Northampton St in Easton. The owners are an older couple who live above the dining space. The menu features a wide array of Italian inspired foods that are made to order by the owner in a small kitchen just off the dinning space. Since Cherubina is BYOB it is a great place to go with groups since everyone can bring a bottle or two and make a night of it. The service is always very prompt, the owners are always making their way around the space and they are always attempting to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves. Personally, I have been to the Cherubina roughly 6 times. Most recently, a group of eight of us went here in July and we were given the entire back dining space. Everyone ordered a salad or an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert. The appetizers and salads were fantastic. Everyone was signing the praises of the clams casino, the buffalo mozzarella, the blue cheese salad, and the ceasar salad. The group got a wide array or entrees but what stuck out was the Lobster Cream sauce on the penne with shrimp and crab and the fillet. When you come to Cherubina, you have to have dessert since all of the offerings are fresh made in house. The broken chocolate, creme brulee, and the cheese cake were fantastic. Overall, Cherubina is not the hip trendy place to be seen and see people at. The location and the interior are little to write home about but it does feel welcoming and you will be comfortable inside. Despite these shortcomings, the food is great, the owners care about the visitors, and it is a unique local establishment.

Another place my wife and I had one of the best meals we've had via a restaurant. Wait staff was good, the food we both had was delicious. BYOB

Went three times, and it declined each time. Final meal was bland caprese and overcooked salmon. I love the concept, but not the execution.

I suppose this restaurant has a few fans in Easton, as evidenced by reviews on other sites. However, I have had a different experience-- just slightly below average and kind of quaint. The 'surf and turf' featured mediocre vegetables and overcooked lobster (a texture akin to flounder). You can do better in Bethlehem a few miles away for the same price.

We loooooove this place. Have been regulars for about 10 years now. Fran, Harry, Miguel and the rest of the staff are just fantastic. The food is perfect... i have never had a mediocre meal here. It is BYOB, which we prefer and keeps the prices reasonable.

I have been going to Cherubina's since 1999. I LOVE this place. You definitely should have reservations because it has a limited number of tables. Service is attentive but not overbearing. The food is always delicious. We just were there on Christmas Eve and had another wonderful meal. Several specials are always available. If you would like a dish prepared a certain way, they will accomodate your request. Salads are large and are very fresh. Fran had a delightful light citrus salad dressing on our salads, which we loved. Each dish is carefully made and everything comes out from the kitchen as ordered. No mixups ever. I have had many nice memories having dinner here for special occasions and birthdays. Leave room for the wonderful desserts. BYOB. Leave the young kids home and have a date night here. :):)

The owners are charming and this is one of the restaurants that deserves more recognition in Easton. The place is adorable especially at the holidays.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
