I was visiting my uncle, Aunt and Cousins in PA, and they recommended this place to eat. It's a small family owned restaurant with limited seating. Food is amazing, service was very good as well. Nice place for family dinner or a casual date. Food comes in generous portions enough to share between two people. Would definitely go again when i visit to try other dishes on the menu. Food :5* Service:5* Food Presentation:5* Ambiance:4* Seating:4*

Awesome place! Small and quaint... It's good for small groups but there were 8 of us so it was a little uncomfortable... Tight spaces !!

One of my friend took me for a lunch Putin weekday and the place was busy. The waitress attended and walked through options. The first impression was great !! Then went with the lunch express menu and come with salad/soup, appetizer and selection of entree .. Everything tastes great . Especially after the starters the entree portions were great !! Definitely worth a visit and will visit again !!

My wife and I stopped in here for lunch the other day and this was our first visit to this place. The place isn't very big and they have packed quite a few tables into a relatively small dining area. Hopefully you like who they seat you next to, because you'll be very close to them! They do offer lunch specials at good prices, but what we wanted wasn't on the lunch special menu. We started with the chicken satay and shrimp in a blanket. The chicken satay was good with a nice peanut sauce to dip the chicken in, although still not as good as my Mom can make it! The shrimp in the blanket was just ok and nothing special. For our entrees, we decided to split the pineapple fried rice with chicken (other meat options available) and the cashew chicken. The cashew chicken had one tamale next to it, so I was expecting a little heat, but there was virtually none. Next time, I would probably ask them to crank up the heat a bit. Both dishes were enjoyable, with the fried rice being my favorite. Service was very good throughout our lunch. Because we were sharing the food, we had more plates on our table than it was obviously designed for. It was a little pricey, especially for a lunch, but I walked out full. This is not a place I will likely crave, but I would go back if I was in the area. Based on some other reviews here, looks like there are deals to be found for this place, so I would look for one of those first.

I went there on Sunday. I had Tom Yum Kung, they used fresh shrimps to cook it and I told them to me it very spicy for me and it turned out very good! I also had Som Tum Salad and Pad Thai. Very delicious and the service is attentive.

Best "Crying Tiger" salad I've ever had. Everything we ordered was excellent - Seafood Paradise was beautifully presented. From the service to the decor a definite five star -- BYOB too!

Got in to Philly late last night and needed a good lunch to kick-start my weekend at my parents place. Found This place on Yelp, and man am I glad I did. I grew up in the area and since moving away in 2006, I am regretful that I did not have places like this to frequent when I lived here! Mango Tree Bistro was really really great. Great location between Eagleville and Trooper, super easy to park, nice covered front patio that I bet is sweet to eat on during the summer. Today was nice and sunny but not that warm, so we sat inside. Inside is quaint and nicely spaced out, not too cramped. One thing that is slightly disappointing is that it almost felt like they were trying to hard to make this older-style property have "Thai" flare. There was just a bunch of cheesy thai decorations that just seemed out of place. The building is already pretty and nice inside, I personally feel that you do not have to overdo the thai-syle. People will go there because of the thai food, not the decorations. We went for lunch, and the food was just plain great. Solid A. I chose the Panaang Pork Chop special, and my wife got a lunch special with lemongrass soup, a spring roll and something called Evil Jungle Princess. Which is just a fancy phrase for "ef'in delicious." My pork, while substantially more expensive than anything else lunch related (coming in at $18.95), was nothing short of fantastic. The Panaang curry was perfectly prepared. Some nice spice to it (I can always welcome more), touch of coconut milk flavor, not soupy. The vegetables were cooked unbelievably well. Crisp, fresh, good flavor. I actually ate almost all of them even before touching the pork chop they were that good. The pork was a nice sized chop, decent flavor. Personally I think it was cooked just a tad too much, I would prefer something a little more "rare" than what I received (yes I know the rules of cooking pork). But you can get away with anything above 140F internal temp, and this was certainly cooked much higher probably 165-170 resiling in a medium-well prep. Good. Just wasn't perfect like the rest of the dish. At the end of the day we are discussing preference, and despite my preference for something slightly more rare, that didnt take away from this dish at all. It all just worked well together. I would highly recommend visiting the Mango Tree Bistro if you find your self inhabitant SE PA suburbia. You will not be disappointed whatsoever. My wife loved her meal, same results as mine. I tried her lemongrass soup which I found to be a solid B+ for flavor. Oh, and one slight gripe: ditch the elevator soundtrack of 80s & 90s love ballads. Really terrible. Did not put me in a "you are going to love what you eat here" mood. Another reason why this food lived up far past the expectations.

Surprisingly good. Came in for the lunch special. Try to get there by 1220 or it gets full. The chicken in the Tom Kha is a bit rubbery and chewy, but the soup is a decent coconut flavor. The dumplings were good. The mussaman curry (with 1 pepper) was probably what saved this review from being a 3, as a result of the rubbery chicken. The flavor was great, the rice a bit sticky, but good if you dunked it into the curry. I really enjoyed the curry dish, I only wish more rice was provided.

Excellent food. We love the Coconut Soup. That's what keeps us coming back. The waiters are friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable and clean. Do beware they will not accept Restaurant.com coupons with their daily lunch specials or anything that has the word "special" in it. Other than that, great place, great food and great people!

This place is a gem. The service is great and the food excellent. I had the seafood paradise and it was filled with scallops, calamari, salmon, shrimp, and calms and had the perfect amount of heat. My wife had the vegetarian pineapple rice and she loved it. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves very much and will definitely come back.

Nice atmosphere. I liked the colors, candles, and ornately folded napkins. The appetizer platter came out super hot. Excellent. The basil fried rice and Evil Jungle Princess dishes were delightful.

Took Mom there. She can't eat spice and we loved the Pineapple Chicken. Please make portions bigger and use more ginger & basil. Good cooking but not enough aromatic herbs. Service is usually very good. The people there are really sweet. Our waitress was not as friendly and attentive as to the table of handsome men to our side. That was disconcerting! I love the homey decor. A lovely place to eat. Not good acoustics and can be noisy.

My husband and I had the steamed dumplings, drunken noodles with chicken and seafood in paradise. We are Indian so love spicy. We got level 4 spice and could have tolerated 5 but the flavor was really good we did not mind. They gave us a siracha oil chili sauce we added to the dishes. It was perfect. We also got chocolate lava cake for dessert. All together $50. Coming back on the wkday to get $10 off our meal through yelp :)

Great! So glad I finally stopped in this place! Parking is in the back, so dont let store front mislead you. Probably should get reservations on a Friday night! I checked the reviews here on Yelp and decided to try the Evil Jungle Princess-like so many others. It was spicful...not burning hot-but definetaly warmed me up! Wonderfulll! Also had the pork dumplings-those were awesome as well! Always get a Thai Tea- always satifying! Loved my meal so much I going to try a recipe from online for it because I know I wont be able to come here as often as I would enjoy to. :D

This place is right up the street from me so we've gone a few times. It's a very nice place. We've tried various things on the menu and they've always been really tasty. They definitely know how to make spicey proper. The prices are pretty good, as well.

Great food! Came here for the vegan options and we were very satisfied. They were also accommodating for our infant. The flavors of all the appetizers and entrees were fantastic, we loved everything. Service was also quick and dishes served spaced out well. Definitely recommend!

Great food. Great value. For appetizers we had the Shrimp in a Blanket (awesome sauce) and Calamari (spicy sauce, also awesome). For our main courses we had the Mango Curry and the Evil Jungle Princess. Both were delicious. Highly recommend.

I love their Thai iced tea and pad Thai! But have to say that their drunken noodle tastes too much like Chinese food, which I consider fake Thai food. This place closes on Tuesdays! I went there on Tuesday once, damn it. The food is a little bit pricy for dinner, but they have great lunch special which includes a soup, an appetizer and an entry for less than 10 dollars!

After reading the reviews, I really wanted to try Mango Bistro, especially if it is owned by the same proprietors as Thai Bistro in Blue Bell, which I like. The shrimp in blankets were freshly prepared but lacked flavor and the "blanket" from a few shrimp came loose after the first byte to reveal shrimp which were not properly cleaned. The shrimp Pad Thai was too gloopy in an overly sweet sauce, lacking the balance of sweet, salty and spicy that this dish should embody. My Bass in tamarind was also overly sweet and lacked any heat, which I could easily remedy with some Sriracha. The accompanying vegetables were well cooked and had a little bite to them. Next time I will try to try a few dishes like the laarb which I fondly remember eating at the night hawker stalls on the streets of Bangkok and the curries. For now, when I crave Thai, I will have to go to Thai Place in Phoenixville, which is the closest I have found to authentic Thai food in the area. Service is friendly and efficient. The place can get a bit crowded and loud on weekends, especially since they have packed a few too many tables into a tiny dining room.

My fiance and I we're looking for some place new to try on Saturday. Off to yelp we went. I had viewed Mango Tree previously and saw favorable reviews. But the kicker this time was there was a yelp deal. 20 for 10. We bought it, picked up some beer (Its byo) and we we're off. We arrived around 8 on a Saturday. It wasn't busy. It's small, but very modern, with orange walls. Very nice. We we're greet promptly. Ordered the tulip dumplings, shrimp pad Thai, and my fiance ordered the evil dragon princess. Everything was delicious. Large portions and moderately priced. This restaurant will be added into our rotation. So nice to have some good Thai in the area.

The food was great. So why the low review? We were seated right away but it took about 15 minutes before our server took our order. Food came out, we ate, we enjoyed, they took our plates, brought our bill, we paid, and that's where it went wrong. Despite what started as very slow service, by the end of our meal, they were moving so quickly to get the bill paid. Shortly after paying, yet with still nearly full wine glasses, our server came to us and said "Can you leave? We have a reservation." I WAS FLOORED! If they knew they had that table reserved later in the evening then they shouldn't have had such slow service at the beginning of our meal.

My girlfriend and I ate here for the first time last night(a Saturday night). We were browsing Yelp for thai places in my area. We both know Thai food very well and were so excited to find it done well out here in this area. Scene/Decor: There were only two tables of parties when we arrived. Both finished up and left before we received our appetizers, and no one else came in through our entire meal. Their decor is warm and relaxed with nods to Thailand as you'd expect. They've only been open for a month and its very clean! Its located in a house-turned-commercial space. So you first enter a room that has the takeout/counter plus two 2-tops, and are led into the dining room which has seating for maybe 50. Service: No complaints here. The same girl who sat us waited on us and it looked like was waiting on the other two parties that were there. I assume once their customer base picks up, they'll hire a couple of servers. But she was very pleasant, and most likely affiliated with the ownership. Food: We had the Tom Yum Soup and Summer Rolls to start. Both were spot on and done well. The Summer rolls are served as a pair that are cut on the bias and served with the usual peanut sauce. For our entrees, I had the chicken mussaman curry and my gf had the tofu pad thai. Both were authentic and served the way one comes to expect. This township should be thankful that these folks have decided to open a restaurant in our area. Its a great addition! I'll be adding it to my commmute takeout rotation immediately.

My now husband and I just had our pre-wedding day dinner party on August 2nd and it was so wonderful. The staff are all a pleasure to work with and are extremely accommodating and friendly. We were able to have so many of our friends and family share in the day and they all kept saying how amazing and plentiful the food was. There was not one thing that I would change - we had delicious pad thai, drunken noodles, fried rice, green curry, teriyaki salmon, evil jungle princess and a bunch of delicious appetizers - from salad and spring rolls to chicken satay and dumplings. Everything was so amazing and the presentation was incredible. I know we will definitely always return to the Mango Tree Bistro for a delicious thai meal and it will always be a special place for us and hopefully one for others that discover this gem!

Delicious Thai restaurant! I typically order one of their regular menu curry items, but the seasonal pumpkin curry is absolutely out of this world. Great service, friendly staff, reliably good food.

We stopped by on our way home from shopping at the Phila Prem. Outlets. It was late and they were about to close in 30 mins. Lucky for us they had just seated a large group so they fine with our timing. The ambiance is pretty cool.. at one point I wanted to get a massage, haha. It's got that "zen" thing going I tell ya. They have outside seating btw but you would be facing a street with some traffic so it's really up to you if you would want that kind of eating experience. I'm sure it's fine. Back to the service and food. The waitress we had was super nice. She was really helpful in explaining and recommending things from the menu. I think her name was Linna? We noticed from Yelp that people liked the Evil Princess curry dish so we ordered that for my wife and I had the drunken noodles. Sometimes when I try out a new place I'd like to order the basic stuff to see if they can make it tasty and correct. If they can't make a curry and noodle dish at a Thai place.. well forget about a second visit right? We got the sampler for the appetizer. A nice combination of their popular stuff. Tulip dumplings, shrimp in a blanket , pork dumpling (really good), and some veggie spring rolls. All great and they used fresh oil too to fry which is a good sign. It came with three dipping sauces (sweet, sour, and tangy). Now the drunken noodle was spicier than I'm use to. But considering all I ate was spicy food growing up I was okay with that. It was good and the portion was spot on. More on the large side but I'd rather have that than some places that gives you too little. Generous portion of beef and veggies with the noodle. I would have liked the noodle to be a bit more firm and less mushy but nonetheless it was good. Now my wife had the Evil Princess curry and it didn't come in a bowl.. it was served on a big round dish with rice on the side. I'm guess that's how they serve it cause I'm use to curry being inside some bowl or pot. Very tasty and you can taste the ingredients especially that distinctive last taste on your tongue of coconut flavor. All tasty and satisfying. Next time if they have the mahi mahi special I will like to try it.

We've been to Mango Tree for lunch and dinner several times. Great service and delicious food. The owners are from northern Thailand and are expert chefs. Today, I needed to bring soups for a family gathering. We have both vegans and meat eaters, so I decided to get their delicious Jasmin soup and coconut shrimp soup "Tom Kha" - All their food is wonderful, but we adore the soups. Ordered 4 quarts of each. Better than anything we could make at home...and the price was extremely reasonable. We'll be back again soon.

Not that bad of an experience. Going for lunch at this little hidden gem is awesome. For the lunch special that ranges $8-$10 you get a soup, an appetizer, and an entree. So here's what my $10 meal got me. Tom yum soup- I thought the soup was alright. I was pretty disappointed in this classic Thai dish. The soup seemed to be lacking that citrus kick, and the lemon grass was faint. Mostly tasted just like Tom yum paste. I thought it was interesting to have chicken in a Tom yum soup rather than shrimp. And the mushrooms I thought they were a little undercooked and should have been cooking in the broth a bit longer. Tulip dumpling- I was not too impressed with the tulip dumplings. The presentation was just on a bed of shredded greens. As for the taste, it was a bit on the colder side and the dipping sauce was very potent. The dumpling wrapper I thought was a bit soggy. Drunken noodle w/shrimp- the drunken noodle was supposed to be one of their spicier dishes and I was yet again disappointed in that matter as well. They did a fine job in prepping the flat noodles, but I was expecting more of that Thai spice factor. A little more chili pepper would have been nice to add more heat to the dish, rather than being on the more subtle side. Other than that, the dish was fine and I finished the whole plate! Overall the service was great, fair menu size for a bistro, and vegetarian friendly if you happen to be one. For $10 the meal was good. Would I go back for anything outside of the lunch special, probably not.

Our new "Favorite Thai restaurant in the Norristown area. Small and quaint (it's in my old doctors office building) the food is outstanding! The curry puffs were new to me but if you think of a deep fried Thai pierogie you're on the right track. Served alongside the best cucumber relish I've ever eaten. We had the tulip dumplings (A++) and the chicken Tom Kah (coconut soup) which was also top shelf. The Thai seafood pasta was to die for... comes in an Asian chili sauce with baby peppercorns still on the stalk, shrimp, scallops and PEI mussels. It'll be a while before I stop ordering this dish... if ever. My wife had the red snapper which also was fried in a batter lighter than air and served with the freshest and snappiest of veggies. If forced to choose the least flavorful item we had... I'd be forced to say the Mango cheesecake! That should tell you how the meal went. It's BYOB... bring some because the spice levels on the menu are deadly accurate. A Semillon or Gamay Rose would be my suggestion...

Fresh thai food, properly balanced spices, friendly service, nice homey atmosphere. Above average for the area. Good vegetarian options. One warning: In the parking lot is a big wooden telephone pole sticking out of the area between two open spots. It's nearly impossible to see at night. I smashed my mirror onto it as a result, causing over $1000 in damage. Then I saw all the marks on the pole and realized I was one of many. I didn't remove any stars for this, but the restaurant should get this fixed.

didn't know what to expect when visiting mango tree bistro but heard great things from some regulars! the atmosphere was very nice - clean and roomy with nice decor. too bad it was soooo hot out because we would have loved to take advantage of the outside setting! we had the shrimp in a blanket to start, which was pretty average and the shrimp were a little shrimpy (small). for our entrees we had mango curry and green curry with shrimp! both generous helpings and so delicious. it was also a large portion and we were able to take some of the deliciousness home with us. my husbands parents had the fancy duck which was amazing! we've had duck so many times and this was by far the best we've ever had! service was fast and attentive. byob plus offering yelp deals and check in deals, you can't not try it for yourself! enjoy!

Been here twice and both times enjoyed it. Food comes out piping hot and always spot-on with the spiciness (I like my food extra spicy, and they do not disappoint). I always order the Evil Jungle Princess with chicken and both times it's been great--a good ratio of each of the veggies and the sauce has a wonderful spicy kick to it. I prefer this place to other Thai places in the area--the sauce seems much more flavorful and the dish presentation is much "prettier" for lack of a better word. It just seems like they take pride in what they serve, which I definitely respect! We were able to use a $15 voucher from restaurant.com both times, which brought our bill down a decent amount, but it's still rather pricey (my dinner was $12.95 for what I would call a medium sized portion). While the amount of food they give you is definitely enough for a dinner, I think the cost should be more in the $9-$10 range for what you get. However, that said, the flavors are really great, and the dumplings with the sauce are absolutely amazing. Also, I do want to note that we did bring our kids here and the staff was very accommodating -- we were able to get a plate of steamed veggies & chicken for them which they enjoyed. We sat outside the second time we dined here and it was nice and quiet. Overall the staff was very attentive and friendly. We'll definitely be returning.

We chose to pick up Mango Tree (for the first time) for Valentine's Day dinner and WOW. Everything was so fresh, flavorful and delicious! We got the Mango Tree Seafood Pasta and the Tropical Cashew and a side of vegetarian pineapple fried rice and we couldn't eat it fast enough; the rice complimented both of these dishes really well too. We plan to add this to our repertoire and look forward to eating-in next time too!

I've only been here once so far - but know we will be back ASAP. As there are many thai restaurants in the area, it is hard to pick just one to go to! However, mango tree's menu is quite creative and the food just has an extra special touch that makes it worth going back to over the others. Plus the restaurant is just adorable and I love the house and all of the decor.

To this lovely new addition to the stark Eagleville culinary scene, I returned today for lunch to find the place almost full of happy patrons. My lemon grass soup was as delicious as last time and my Evil Jungle Princess excellent. Please check out the silenced voices attesting its quality. A computer algorithm manages the buzz words and too many stars will get you put in the back seat right away. I'm more than a fan, but excessive accolades so early in their career will get bleeped. But, please read my earlier review on how to park here and come for a Thai treat. CP

I welcome any Thai restaurant that opens in the area. Evil Jungle Princess is my favorite dish in the world and Mango Tree did not disappoint. However, I was disappointed in them not accepting the $15 off coupon (even after they said they would use it after seeing how disappointed I was). I drove out of my way passing at least two other Thai restaurants. I probably will not return because of the location not being convenient for me. I DO recommend this restaurant. Just call a ahead and make sure your coupons are accepted especially for the lunch specials, because let's face it we all like to go for the yummy cheap lunch specials!

If you are buying the $20 voucher, be aware it is for dine in only. It wasn't clearly stated and when I try to use it for take out, they refuse to take it. I have been ordering from them a few times; lunch seems to be a better deal; the portion are pretty much the same size as dinner, but cheaper. Food is OK, a little plain, even the ones marked as spicy is not really spicy at all. (and I don't even eat a lot of spicy food)

Top of the notch. I love Mango Tree. I have been there several times while away at school and when I am home over break, I crave it. The place is comfortable and intimate. The food is fresh with a range of flavors and a homemade feel to it. This is one of the top restaurants my fiancee and I dine at on our date nights. I would highly recommend it! Not to mention, they have had an ongoing yelp deal for like a year now!

My friend and I went here for dinner we both ordered the vegitarian drunken noodle. It was too spicy for her liking and she couldnt finish hers in one sitting due to the heat. It wasn't too hot for me. I guess its just a preference. The place is allot smaller than it looks from the outside. I almost felt like we were all dining togeather. That would be my only criticism. BUT it wasnt warm enough to sit outside. I'm sure in the summer the outdoor seating is the way to go. Love that it is a BYOB. Decor was really nice even in the bathroom.

Food is good overall, but the service is terrible. Me and my friend went there for dinner on Thursday night, and it wasn't busy at all. We waited 10 min for someone to bring us the menu, and another 10 to 15 min for the waitress to come to us and take the order, then it took half an hour for them to bring the dish. We were gonna try the dessert at first because we heard they're very good, but we didn't because it took forever for the waitress to come and take the order. And of course, another 10 to 15 min's wait for the check... This place really needs to improve its service no matter how good their food is. Actually I think the food is just ok, and our appetite was totally ruined because of the endless waiting...

We had takeout: Evil Jungle Princess, Mango Curry and Pineapple Fried Rice. All three were delicious. I took a look at the dining room while picking up the food and it looks very comfortable and intimate. We will definitely be back to give "dine in" a try.

Probably the best Pad Thai I've ever had. We got the "extra spicy" and they really followed through and also the noodles were thinner so I liked that. Great ambiance and great service too!

Very nice place. Owner is extremely nice and the food is absolutely incredible for being in the suburbs. One thing that pissed me off is the Yelp coupon. You can't use the coupon on weekends and also you can't use it for their specials. My 2 cents - don't buy the coupon - just eat off of their specials menu.

I have eaten at a lot of Thai places in greater Philly area. This one one has very nice decor. And friendly, Attentive service. The dishes are typical of what one might expect. The Satay chicken was rather bland , house salad was just OK. Veg spring rolls were nice and crunchy. My favorite bench mark dishes are pad Thai, drunken noodles and green curry. The pad Thai la Jed a punch- and the crunch too. I am used to generous helping pf peanuts, mung bean sprouts and fresh Thai basil. None of these make a noticeable appearance. The drunken noodles too were missing something. Green curry was more on the sweeter side than I have tasted at most paces. Mango with sticky rice has been a crowd pleaser though. I think I will go there just for the dessert.

Great food!!! We ate there on a Friday night. I started with the Tom Yum soup - it's a little bit spicier than I'm used to but still delicious. Hubby got the today's special: 'Ravioli soup' which was really a thai version of wonton soup - this was outstanding! For our entrees, I got the pineapple fried rice and hubs got pad thai with shrimp. We both loved our dishes. I've tried many, many versions of pad thai and this was one of the best I've tried. The dining area is small but decorated nicely. The waitstaff was very friendly. I would have given this 5 stars but the seating arrangement is very tight and you feel like you are in the conversation of the group sitting next to you. Also refills on water, beverages were a little slow going but they were also very busy. All in all, Hubs and I were very pleased with this place and definitely plan to return. I look forward to trying some other menu options.

Really good place. The food was fresh the service was wonderful and it went the extra mile to make sure that they prepare the food as ordered. Menu selection is comprehensive . Had the best time. BYOB. It was a bargin in terms of the price. If you share some of the dishes you can get away with a great dinner for two for way less than $50.

After working in a good Thai restaurant while in college, I've become quite picky of Thai food. Since moving back to the Philly area, I haven't found a Thai place that I would go back to. Fortunately, Mango Tree has fixed that problem. I ordered take out and got 2 Chicken Pad thai, Summer Roll, and a Thai Iced Tea. I spent some time talking to the owner, whose family also owns Thai Orchid in Blue Bell. She was very nice and took a look around the dining room area. Very clean(only open for 4 months) and they have a modern look to the restaurant. NOTE: They are also looking to have outdoor seating when it gets warmer out, which I am very much looking forward to. Went home and opened up the containers. Very large portions for the food! I definitely had leftovers for lunch the next day! Food was very good and needless to say, I will be back to try their other dishes.

I am so glad to finally see a Thai place in the Norristown/KOP/Collegeville area. It's BYOB, which is even better. The restaurant is housed in a cute house, with a wrap-around porch. The inside has a friendly cafe vibe upon entering, and the dining room has a spa-like ambiance. The food is good. I didn't realize that they were related to Chingmai in Conshy, which was a stable lunch spot for me when I worked in Conshy. They have great pad thai, which is a must for me at a Thai Restaurant. I'd definitely come back. I think it would be great do dine al fresco on the porch in the summer.

Fantastic dining experience! Food is absolutely delicious, price is great value, service is friendly with a smile, atmosphere is comfortable and intimate. I would have given it a rating of "5" if it weren't for a few minor details; With only 2 waitresses on hand they seemed to be a bit overwhelmed, with the popularity of this place the space available for guest seemed to be a bit tight and lastly they would not honor our free starter coupon from their website along with our restaurant.com voucher, it was either one or the other. I just think they need to disclose that on their website or on restaurant.com . Other than those small trivial issues, this place is absolutely fantastic and we were very pleased. We'll be back again as regular guests!

I stumbled across a nice little gem in this new little Thai restaurant that just opened up in Eagleview. Inside is Beatifully decorated in a contemporary Asian decor. And the food is delicious! Try the Fancy Duck. I highly recommend!

A quiet Thai bistro in Eagleville. Staff is exceptionally friendly and eager to make your visit delightful. The food is GREAT. Good portion sizes, a little pricey but NOT exorbitant. When you pay a little more for fresh, good food, is the price really an issue?? Very pleased. Will return and recommend!

So I went back to order something else and realize they use the same sauce for another dish I had last time. That's a big No-No for me. Bumping it down a notch.

I had the chicken satay app and chicken version of the evil jungle princess which is not noted on the menu but you can also get with shrimp. My lady had tom kha soup and sea bass entree and there was not a morsel left on our plates.

We had takeout and the food was delicious. It's quite similar to their other restaurant Thai orchid in blue bell.

A group of us had dinner here on New Year's Eve. Our meal was outstanding! Everything was fresh and flavorful. The service was excellent, too. We were very pleased and plan to return often. A+ on all counts.

Fantastic atmosphere and decoration. Small dining room that could potentially be loud when full. Delicious Pad Thai and despite chicken being a little dry, the noodles were some of the best I've had. Evil Jungle Princess wasn't very spicy but good. Would be great to eat outside in nice weather.

We come here at least once a month and always mid-afternoon. We always miss the much raved lunch specials! But it is such a gustatory pleasure. Today we had to go for the Mango Tree Platter, tulip dumplings, shrimp rolls, fried vegetable rolls and the Thai dumpling with 3 dipping sauces. If you can't decide, have the platter! The Duck Curry had a delightful surprise, it had green grapes in it. I've had hot grapes before, but this is the first time I had it in a viand and my hubbykins will be testing a couple of dishes at home to try. The folks are always very friendly and helpful. It has a nice and relaxing atmosphere and to us it's quite intimate, since we tend to eat at off-hours. Very clean. Check out the cozy restroom! They also have an assortment of Thai made gift items for you or your special someone. Oh, they will be on vacation from Aug 3 to 20 and will re-open on the 21st

Love coming here for lunch because of the lunch special (and price)! Their tom yum soup is very flavorful and delicious, something I always order when I'm there. Their entrees come in good portions, leaving my friends and me very full at the end of the meal. The waitresses are very attentive and helpful. Sometimes this place can be very busy so be prepared to sit very close to other people, because their seats are very close together. The place is also pretty clean and nicely decorated. I recommend coming here and trying it out! It's also BYOB

2nd visit here last evening. Previously for lunch which was very good to dinner on a Friday night with a friend. Menu: Lemongrass soup- Hot n sour with mushroom, lemongrass and lime leaves- I chose chicken in mine, It was a wonderful combo of flavors and spices. Dick special of the evening. Curried duck in a coconut milk gravy infused with exciting and flavorful spices which contained pineapple, potatoes, carrots and mushrooms, The side of white rice was perfect to soak up a bit of the gravy to get all items on one spoonful, Truly delightful!! My friend had Fresh Summer Rolls which he loved that contained cucumbers, lettuces, carrots, bean sprouts, shrimp and rice noodles wrapped with the rice skin, served with a side of sweet yellow bean sauce. AND- a dish called Mango Tree Seafood Pasta -Sautéed pasta with a combo of seafood with lemongrass, basil leaves and hot chili pepper, pepper corns, and exotic herbs. The decor is Thai modern and beautiful. Judging from the un-ending "Yummy noises" emanating from our table we will be back often.

Came here on a YELP search that once again did not disappoint! Easy to get to with ample parking and plenty of outside seating! We started off with Dumplings and Miso soup both of which were excellent. I had the Shrimp curry that was hot and tasty. My wife's Veggie Pineapple Fried Rice was excellent as well. Very pleasant and quick service- we'll be back!

Before I even begin, we had a wtf moment with the green curry 0/5, tasteless, flavorless and there was no aroma from the curry. I rather have had hot water with soy sauce than this $12.95 dish. Was a total waste. On the other hand the red curry was good but nothing to scream about 3/5. The Pad Thai was slightly too sweet 3/5 otherwise the little ones loved it, we had to add some chilli sauce to get us going. The Jasmine soup was great 4/5. I should ask for my money back on the green curry but was too far to travel so I added my own paste of green curry and cooked it a bit more the next day and believe me it tasted so much better.

I discovered the Mango Tree Bistro on Yelp :) The food is delicious and inexpensive. I enjoyed fried rice and panag curry chicken. Boy was it good. The chef expertly knows how to administer different levels of spice. The restaurant is colorfully painted and decorated with authentic Thai art motif. There is plenty of parking. The service is a 9 out of 10. I look forward to dining here again.

After Amy A. had been talking for months about this Thai restaurant nearby, I finally got the chance to try it out recently when she chose the place for her birthday dinner. Mango Tree accommodated our group of about 10 on a Friday night for a lovely meal. The restaurant is conveniently located right off Germantown Pike, and is a cute and homey style restaurant. The place actually looks like it was a house at some point? Two stories, large porch, and the small rooms make it feel like a house. It's nicely decorated as well, beautiful but not in your face. I believe Mango Tree is somehow associated with the more popular Chiangmai in Conshohocken. If you like Chiangmai, you'll like this place as well. Especially because the menu is nearly identical. I ordered the panang curry, which is a great medium curry. Not very spicy, but more of a kick than the plain yellow curry. It had a lot of veggies, which I love, and really nice flavor. And the best part - it was only $12! My bf ordered a dish I can't remember the name of, so it wasn't one of the more popular Thai dishes that most Americans order. It was basically chicken/beef and veggies with a thin brown sauce that unfortunately had little flavor. I only mention it because I don't want you to order it as well! Everything else that came out of their kitchen was delicious. Prices are so reasonable, and they are a BYOB as well and did a fantastic job of keeping our glasses and ice buckets filled. They even offered to hold our beer in their fridge and brought out bottles as needed. It was a great evening, and if I didn't live a few blocks away from Chiangmai, this would totally be my go-to Thai. But anytime someone asks me if I'd accompany them to Mango Tree Bistro, I'll go with bells on!
