This pizza is the absolute best! Thin pizza fan or not, you cannot deny how fresh and good this pizza is. They have a bunch of different options to choose from, with a variety of salads and fun drinks to pair your pizza with, all offered in a really fun modern space. Plus, the owner named the restaurant after one of his daughters and their pictures are up on the wall. What's not to love about that? It's a great place for a lunch or dinner with friends and family--and super yummy too. Five stars, without a doubt. I've been here countless times and you have never failed me, Jules.

I'm originally from Newtown and loved visiting the Newtown location but recently I moved to Chalfont. After finding out about their Doylestown location, my dad and I decided to stop in and get a full pie. My personal favorite was always buffalo chicken so we got a large buff chick and a medium chicken lime pizza. The service was very quick and the girl working there was very nice but seemed a little confused. We took our pizza to-go and it was definitely not hot enough even though they heated so we re-heated it in the oven. When I finally ate a a piece it was good but definitely not as great as I had remembered. I guess I lost a taste for Jules because it was a little too bland. Also I felt as though I was eating a cracker. The chicken line was not good.

A super fun place to eat! They've got a lot of pizza options so you'll be back to try them all, it's worth it. I love going for the Greek, the caprese, or anything with eggplant on it.

I should preface this review by saying two things: I love pizza and my favorite pizza is the super thin crust or flatbread...that said I didn't know I was walking in to a super thin crust flatbread pizzeria when I stumbled into Jules on a recommendation. The staff were friendly and helpful, knowledgeable about the restaurant the ingredients and the preparation. The restaurant was clean and wide open, the patio was closed as it was 25℉ out. I started with a slice of plain cheese. I always like to try the plain as a barometer of the taste and quality. The plain slice was great. The cheese fresh and local, with perfectly seasoned sauce. Then I ordered a pie; A medium pie with fig, gorgonzola, prosciutto, and arugula . It was (not surprisingly) AMAZING. According to the staff, there are 5 other Jules in Pa and two in Ca. I can see why people come back, fresh delicious and local organic ingredients. I look forward to my next pie here.

As close to healthy pizza as one could get. Ultra thin crust, all organic - non GMO ingredients (take that Pappa John) and countless toppings make this an awesome place in the heart of Doylestown.

  • Robert P.

I really like this but I don't consider this pizza. It's a hybrid. Flat crispy crust more like a cracker with excellent toppings. I like it room temp not hot. Whatever it is it's really good and you get lots of different choices.

I ordered a slice and saw the employee drop it on the floor. The employee then picked up the slice from the floor, threw it in a box, handed it to me, and said have a nice day.

Very thin crust! And lots of creative toppings. It also has an express "drive-through" which lets drivers grab a quick on-the-go meal. A "slice" of pizza at Jules gets u a rectangle slice cut into two halves. A cute place to eat in downtown Doylestown!

Let me just say, I love pizza. And if I can get a healthier, thinner, more organic slice of pizza I am ALL for it. That's where Jules comes in. I had a flyby pickup order about a month ago. The staff member was prompt and courteous, the pizza was hot and fresh (even though I was a little late to pick it up). It was the pie with mozzarella, tomato, and (I think) basil. Very good. Their pizza is thin but not flimsy. It is filling and delicious. The toppings are always fresh and flavorful. Knowing it comes from a good place is also great. I really love how their slices are on display and you can mix and match what you'd like to have. I just wish there were less chances of contamination from a customer sneezing/coughing over the glass, since it doesn't fully cover the food (that's why I docked a star). If I can remember correctly, there is a gap between the glass and counter on the customer's side. But then again, these things bother me but I don't know if they bother most people. Probably not :) I haven't eaten in here in so long and cannot wait to be back. Delicious!

A great place to eat a quick lunch in Doylestown! Healthy options. Fast and friendly service. Unique and delicious toppings. My only complaint is that it's a little bit pricy. Almost $7 for 2 slices.

It's taken me a few years but I am a convert. Maybe it's just more exposure and I have gotten used to the very thin crust. But you can't deny the very fresh ingredients on the flatbread. You can't get this kind of freshness anywhere else in the area. It also has amazing choices in pizza. Fig, prosciutto, chicken, smoked gouda and balsamic vinaigrette...the innovative toppings goes on and on... It's worth a try and than keep coming back for the delicious choices.

You gotta just love Jules. The location is Doylestown is consistent, the service is always pleasant and helpful, and the pizza is delicious. Hubby is gluten free, and this is one place where he can get what he needs easily and without hassle, and the rest of us can eat our yummy gluten-filled food. Toppings are fresh, delicious, and not tooo out there in terms of strangeness (i.e. they all work). I always forget this is a BYO place - I need to add that into my mix and my enjoyment will go up that much more!

A fresh and delicious alternative to typical pizza parlors. The ingredients are always fresh and tasty, and the variety of flavors leaves something good for everyone to enjoy! I live for the vegan pizza and I'm not even a vegan! The service always comes with a smile. Definitely not your typical slice of pizza, but if you're looking for something unique and healthy for a quick bite, Jules is totally the way to go.

Love Jules! The pizza is fantastic, and I especially enjoy the vegan pizza options. Others in my family like the conventional pizzas, and we have always had friendly, and efficient service at this location. Whenever we are in the area, Jules is a given, as it is just a great fast casual spot that is well run by pleasant staff who make it their point to know the menu and ingredients, an important consideration with food allergies that run in my family.

I'm not down with the cracker crust. It's very expensive b/c if you're a healthy eater, you need to order an entire pizza to feel satisfied. It is very overwhelming to quickly pick from the gazzilion combos without holding up the line.

My favorite place for a slice of thin crust pizza. It's made me lots of local and organic ingredients. My top choice is the slice with kale and mandarin oranges! The location in Newtown is also quite delicious.

Friend: This pizza is just like New York pizza; that's why we had to take you here. First and formost, no sentence should EVER begin that way unless you are completely, and entirely sure, that you can compare the ever amazing, world renowned goodness of the New York slice. Since my friend came from Brooklyn, I hoped she was being totally sincere....or, she was gonna hear it. As we know, I am the pickiest snot when it comes to pizza, and this right here....is something kind of wonderful. See that picture on the wall that says "Employee of the Month" with that goat on there? Well, that little guy deserves it! This mecca of thin crust pizza with all locally grown, organic goodies will make you feel like you did something right that afternoon; not only you've not only made a great selection for lunch, but! you're keeping it classy for your waistline. From Indian pizza with potatoes, peas, and curry, to special combinations made daily - I liked "Kim's Pizza." Thin to perfection, and the flavors will knock your shoes off!!!! Bold, FRESH FRESH FRESH!! Stellar work on something so often imitated as the "pizza." Price: $2.00-$2.97 per slice Seating: inside and out Bathrooms: inside; to right of registers Free ice water! I WILL be back!

We love this family run biz for an inexpensive quick and delicious lunch or dinner. Love the thin crust and unusual oblong pizzas that say "Juls" We love Kim's pie and also the veggie tomato, basil, mozz and arugula as our two favorites. Do it!

  • Kristin B.

Jules does decent pizza. Not great, not memorable, just okay. I think the variety is great--I love arugula on my pizza--and the ingredients are fresh, to be sure. But the flavor falls a little bit short for me. It's wonderful to offer fresh options and for that, Jules does stand out from your average pizza joint. Unfortunately, quality without flavor is tough to stand by. My kids do like it, though, so I go back now and then for them. It's just not that great.

Really love this place. Kid friendly and about as healthy as pizza can possibly get. Gluten free and locally sourced ingredients. Great choices for vegetarians and nice to be able to order a bunch of different types. YUM!

Staff was very friendly and two slices was just enough for one person!

This is a great place to come for thin crust, tasty pizza. This is THIN crust, though, so I do understand if you aren't overly enthused about the crispiness. Their toppings are consistently fresh, delicious and inventive. Often they use local products that highlight the season's best items. They have a good organic selection, too. If you want a healthy, not overly greasy, not overly heavy, really tasty meal, this is a nice place to go. I also enjoy the fact that you can order slice by slice so you end up with a fun mix sometimes rather than a whole pie of arugula, fig, prosciutto (my favorite) or marscapone and squash (even tastier!). Very convenient, consistently good (we frequent the Doylestown and Newtown location, depending on the time of day and errands), this is a stand by for a casual evening meal.

  • Briana J.

This place is so good! I wish there were one in Philly! I love me some cheesy, greasy, pizza, but if you want something a lot healthier, refreshing, and really delicious, come here!! I got a slice of veggie # 1 (feta cheese, kalamata olives, red onions, fresh chopped organic tomatoes, romaine, organic tomato sauce) and veggie #6 (artichoke hearts, fresh chopped organic tomatoes, arugula, garlic, mozzarella, cubes of fresh mozzarella, gorgonzola, oregano) and both of them were delicious! Veggie #1 tasted more like pizza that you'd get from a place a California Pizza Kitchen, but they both were yummy. I didn't realize that a slice is more like two (they cut a large piece in half), so I'll probably only get one next time because I was really full when I ate two of them But I definitely want to come back here and try some other slices! Also a BYOB, so that's always a plus.

I really love this place. This pizza is desert island good and I could eat it every day. The pizza has a light, crisp crust and the topping combos range from classic to innovative. They have a seasonal offering right now (spring 2012) with lemon vinaigrette, asparagus, ricotta, and shallots. Awesome. My old standby is another white pizza that includes ricotta, caramelized onions, edamame, and mint. Sounds a little weird maybe, but it's such a unique and flavorful combo. I typically order one or two slices, though one is usually enough after a couple sample bites of whatever my husband ordered. They don't have a lot in the way of beverages but what they have is sufficient for the type of meal being offered (plus, you can BYOB if you're so inclined). There is an wonderful Australian woman who works there --- she's knowledgeable and lightening fast. She seems to run the store. My only complaint is that some of the teens they have working there lack her pep and sense of urgency.

Tasty gluten free pizza. It was very different from most other pizzas I've had - the crust was thin and crunchy but it worked well and didn't have a heavy greasy feeling. We were able to choose whatever toppings we wanted and put a variety of meats, cheeses and vegetables on our pizza. They also seem to be pretty conscious about cross contamination involving the gluten free foods which is great! Slightly pricey though.

I have to really agree with Julia N. when she says - "This is a Whole Foods-shopping, Franzen-reading, NPR-listening, local-buying, bicycle-riding person's dream pizza." It can't be summed up better than that. You can read on, but it really isn't necessary. I love the wide variety of changing pizza toppings that Jules offers. From Indian chutney inspired slices to BBQ, Jules covers the gamut of food options that can be put on baked bread. I love the bold, blatant marketing materials that reassure me that I'm a great person who supports the environment and sustainable living just by eating their pizza. It makes me not feel so bad when I hit the gas on my 8 cylinder muscle car and mercilessly slay 4 evergreen trees on the way back to work from lunch.

Clean, helpful, friendly, tasty, fresh vegan and soy-free friendly restaurant. I had called before coming to this restaurant to ensure the dietary restrictions would not be an issue. They were helpful and friendly on the phone. Upon arrival, I was shocked at how clean and open the restaurant was. The pizzas on display looked very fresh (and plentiful). I also love the ideals of the restaurant - fresh, local ingredients. The menu is quite extensive in toppings and they offer a gluten free crust as well. I was surprised to see black beans and edamame as options for toppings (yum protein). Most importantly, they use Daiya - and they certainly do not skimp on it. Likewise, they certainly do not skimp on any of the toppings. They even use real, fresh, oregano and basil. We had a lovely pizza (large size) and were impressed. The crust is thin and crunchy, cooked to perfection and the variety of veggies was fresh and delicious. It was certainly a pleasant meal, with fast friendly service and fresh delicious food. The price was kind of steep, but when it is met with this caliper of service and quality - it truly is worth it. My bf wanted to come back the very next day... please, Jules move North East!!!

Hands down the best pizza I've ever had! And it's healthier than any pizza out there! Even the sodas are healthier! Its quick, and not that pricey. It's a win-win for everyone!

It should be re-named Jules Cardboard Crust. Tried this on a few occasions and just seems to back my colon up instead of leaving me refreshed. Healthy and Pizza should not be in the same sentence. It will never work.

Jules does not have the best slice I've ever had, but I have to admit it's some of the best thin crust you can get anywhere. Perfect for families if you need somewhere to take kids where the food isn't terrible. Here's the rundown on the pies: - M8/Buffalo - perfect - M3/M4 - both were solid but I'd still go with the Buffalo - Cheese - simple, very good When I'm back in Doylestown, I'm making a return visit.

Returned to Jules recently, and I believe that they are keeping up the standards at the Doylestown location. First of all, they have wifi, which makes this a place where you can work and have lunch. You have to ask for the pwd, but it is available. Second, they have begun adding more pie combinations, and allowing the seasonal ingredients to drive them. I had a great summer squash pie ! Fresh & local zucchini ribbons, organic squash blossoms, chopped garlic cracked black pepper on a white mozzarella base with a dollop of ricotta cheese. Definitely deserve more consideration. Think of it as flatbread and not pizza if you have a hard time with the style. Whatever you call it, it is good food with great ingredients.

A quick and amazing thin crust pizza place! The staff was really nice and helped explain everything. The pizza is super fresh and is definitely worth the price. If you're ever in Doylestown and would like a quick bite, come here!

I don't know about Jules. Flavors are good, but it's on a lousy cracker! I like my pizza a little thicker. I feel like I'm eating diet food at Jules.

every time im in town it's a must for me to stop by Jules. the pizza is amazing. the creations are incredible. and my favorite part is that every season they change the menu and add new twist to an old meal. pizza is my favorite and since being diagnosed with acid reflux I've had to cut back but with Jules i don't. not every pizza has sauce and that's genius to me. please if you're ever in town stop by this superb restaurant.

Incredible pizza and wonderful service! We recently had our rehearsal lunch at Jules for our wedding and Michael the manager was very helpful and made sure every detail went smoothly. The pizza is hands down the best! We wish they would come to NYC - there would be a line around the block!

I'm a big fan of thin crust pizza, so when I went to Jules I was excited. Sadly, that is when the excitement ended. The place was packed, and it was confusing watching the pizza orders getting mixed up. When I got my pizza, the crust tasted like cardboard, as Dan H. Said. Next time, I will be going to Artistic Pizzeria instead.

soooo good!! best place to get flatbread/thin crust pizza! :-) the combination of toppings blend so well together... good for meat lovers and vegetarians too! highly recommended. Takes me half an hour to where their location is but every trip to here is always worth it! Try and visit them! And you'll always be back for more. Nice ambience too... cozy, clean! Kudos to Jules mgmt! Amazed at how you've thought of this unique business concept :-)

Awsome pizza spot, not your average place. The pizza here is NOT like new york pizza at all, its not even shapped like regular triangle slices. You walk in and their are about 15 different selctions of pies. I really like the greek slice with kalamata, fetta, and greens on the whole wheat crust. Also try the riccota cheese and asparagus pie. both are my faves. the only thing i dont understand is why they put the slices with lettuce in the oven?? I always ask to not heat the salad slices. much better. they also give you free water in dispensers around the store. Great spot for lunch

  • Bob T.

great place for a quick bite, pizza is always great, staff is always friendly, and its always a clean and cool atmosphere there. there is not much else to say more than the other reviews about the pizza, every slice I have gotten there was fantastic. its byo, water is easily accessible, and when its not crowded its quick and easy to get your slices. the only con is when they are swamped it gets extremely confusing on who's slices is who's... they need a better system on getting out the slices together for customers and remembering who ordered what when they are busy.

This place deserves a standing ovation, particularly for those who are gluten-free. We have so far only visited the Doylestown location, but they have four locations throughout PA and two in CA. As newbies to the area, we were particularly eager to try it out and we certainly weren't disappointed. We recently moved from just outside of NYC and have tried many gluten-free pizza joints in and around the Big Apple to satisfy our gluten-free cravings. None of these (not even Risotteria) measure up to what Jules has to offer. Jules' gluten-free crust was absolutely fantastic - light, crispy and perfectly cooked (not at all burnt at the edges). Their gluten-free dough contains only buckwheat flour, potato starch, tapioca starch, xantham gum, navy pea flour, salt, egg yolk, olive oil and a pinch of yeast. To me, this is great as it's so much healthier than other gluten-free doughs that contain things like corn flour (highly allergenic) and rice flour (raises your blood sugars). In addition, it's grain free:-). Their staff are also strictly trained to keep their gluten-free pizzas separate to avoid the risk of cross-contamination. Jules gets an extra point for offering Daiya vegan cheese for those who can't or won't do dairy. The variety of toppings is reminiscent of some of the more creative pizza joints such as California Pizza Kitchen and ingredients are organic and local - you can definitely taste the difference and it feels like you're actually eating a true Italian pizza and something a lot healthier than you get at your standard pizzeria. Whilst Jules doesn't offer delivery, the Doylestown and Newtown locations let you order ahead and they will bring the pizza to your car. They also sell their frozen dough (including the gluten-free variety) and offer organic drinks (the kind you find in Wholefoods), as well gluten-free treats from The Grain Exchange - at least the Doylestown location does ... I can't speak for the other locations. Well done, Jules! Keep it up ... so glad we are now neighbors:-). This review represents my subjective opinion based on my personal experience.

Wish this was closer to where I live or I'd be their most regular customer. My boyfriend and I were visiting the area for the weekend and spotted the Foursquare check-in offer: free slice with your first check-in. We sampled the Mexican pizza with black beans and beefcrumbles, a light tomato, mozzarella and basil on whole wheat crust, a sausage and onion slice and a white ricotta slice with spinach. The flat breads are thin and light enough to be filling, but not heavy. I love the option of a thin crust and healthier pizza made with plenty of whole and fresh ingredients. It's clear the business owner cares about the food he's making. For those seeking a traditional American pizza, this isn't for you. But if you want a light, healthful and flavorful lunch with plenty of options, give this a try.

The Pizza al taglio, pizza to be cut, is a popular casual food in Italy. For many years, it has been a common way to grab a quick snack or as a meal. Folded in two and eaten like a sandwich while walking through nice Doylestown alleys would be a great idea. google.com/search?rlz=1C… Pizza al taglio (by the slice, Roman-style) has started to catch on in many other countries with differences in the styles of crusts and toppings. Roman-style pizza is that the pie is thin and crispy with not much rise in the dough. Jules Thin Crust offers that kind and I loved it! Especially see oval flat thin crusts with simple and fresh veggies toppings on a wood plate with a parchment paper, to serve, got me more exciting. Pizza wasn't baked in a Roman brick oven but in an electric oven. Veggie #7 - First hit was definitely the taste of eggplant. Thinly sliced eggplants were cut round and was fresh. Eggplant worked as a sponge and soaked up the cheese flavors but this pizza was not oily. Veggie #12 -It looked and sounded good but all of the ingredients were not working for me. I wish I could taste sweetness of caramelized onion. That would help goat cheese flavor. Green taste of Edamame didn't work even with melted ricotta and goat cheese. This one was my least favorite. Veggie #5 - Organic tomato sauce, fresh basil, chopped tomatoes was just fine. Veggie #1 - Feta cheese, olives, red onions, chopped tomatoes and romaine with tomato sauce was too crowded and made thin crispy pie soggy. Meat #1 - Pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, tomato sauce and mozzarella pizza was meaty but light. Although my reviews of each is not so excellent but I enjoyed lightness of those fresh ingredients.

This should be awesome. As creative and fun as the toppings sound...they are ill prepared, lack flavor or freshness...and just bad. Skip all the trendy toppings and go get Brooklyn pizza at Bacco

This pizza is no joke, but a true contender for best pizza in the area ("the area" being all of PA). The ordering process could be explained a little better though...upon walking up to the counter you are greeted with about 15-20 full size pizzas. They fit nicely on the counter side-to-side because of their plank-like shape. The first time we visited Jules there were no descriptions of each pie. You sort of had to guess what was on each one. And when we asked, that was met with some rolling eyes (minus one star). This time round, there were clear descriptions of the contents. Very helpful! We ordered a medium pizza, which is about 8 small slices...perfect for two people. Plenty of food. For three people you will probably need a large. Our medium consisted of two different pies. One half was the bacon, arugula, and mozzarella with chives, the other half was portabello, caramelized onions, chives, mozzarella, and balsamic glaze. The latter stole the show. I could eat it every day and not get tired of it. These pizzas are somewhat of a novelty and are definitely very artsy. But they don't sacrifice anything in the flavor department. I see the Jules in Wayne is now open. I might be making some special trips from Havertown to Wayne on the weekends...

Seriously, it's not pizza. It's a flatbread. This is a spruced-up fastfood pizza joint. Nothing homemade about it. The style is a bit original but it doesn't impress me. Go up the street for better pizza-- Alessio is a block away.

The wife and I eat at Jules weekly and we love their food. This weekend we had an issue and complained. The customer service is amazing. John the owner corrected the problem so well. He responded to our critiques on a SUNDAY. This is how you should run a business. Take pride in your food, your staff and your customers. If there is a problem, fix it and do better the next time. John didn't ignore it. He fixed it and in the process made Jules fans in to Jules zealots! (In a good way). Thanks John for making pizza and food yummy but not bad for you! Keep up the good work! Great customer service!

The concept of this place is amazing . I want to love it so badly . I want to rate it like all of these other people have rated it with such high stars . Unfortunately I had to actually eat . The concept is perfect ....the execution of the food is poor . If your store is based on thin crust then it should be good even great . The crust is actually the worst part of the entire pizza . The sauce ain't no great shakes either . Sorry Jules thin crust I wish I loved you . I want to. Hot spot for hip families......I get the draw. PLEASE GET MORE DELICIOUS!!! (I beg you.)

Jules' has great pizza, salads, cookies and beverages. The staff is very friendly and kind, once I left some belongings there accidentally, fortunately my phone number was on an item in my bag, they called me and held my items until I could get there, so nice! I love their thin crust pizza, it is delicious! :)

Oh Jules. I miss you and I need to visit you more often. One of the reasons I miss living in Bucks County. Both my fiance and my dad hate Jules cause they feel they can twice as many "real" pizzas for the same price as a small Jules pizza. I'll admit they have a point. It is a little pricey. Both my mom and I love it however. We love the toppings and the super thin crust. My favorites are the ricotta and spinach (mmm) and what we like to call the "Greek salad" pizza--basically some lettuce, tomatoes, olives, onion and feta cheese. I absolutely love their salads as well. They don't put a whole lot of toppings on them, but the greens and lettuce they use are super fresh since they get them from a local farm. So good.

Nothing but superlatives about this place. I went with B yesterday to get a pie for my dad (who can't do garlic) and we tried a few slices while we waited for it to be cooked (which was not a long wait at all). Service was very friendly and the place was clean. I had the white pizza with spinach, B had a cheese slice, and we shared a slice of the greek salad pizza. Everything was fresh and tasted like it was straight out of a garden. My sister once got a pizza there with vegan cheese (they consider all eating types) and, while I think vegan cheese is what we'll be eating in hell for eternity, she seemed happy with it. The pie we got for my dad also had no cheese, just tomatoes and italian herbs. There was a second vegan option, too, but I couldn't bring myself to look at it (though I'm sure it was also very good). I recommend this place, and there aren't a lot of decent places in this town.

Split a medium roasted potato pizza on white with cheese, parmesan, scallions, and sour cream. This was my first pizza topped with roasted potatoes and it was fantastic. The crust was crispy and super thin but very flavorful, and the pizza tasted like a delicious fully-loaded baked potato in pizza form with an extra kick in the form of parmesan. Usually we like to get a meat-topped pizza, but decided to go for a veggie option this time, and I am very glad that we did. What I love about this semi-chain is that the pizzas are satisfying, light, and flavorful. You never feel loaded down after eating a few slices.

I've eaten at Jules a number of times and have never been disappointed. They offer a great selection of unique thin crust pizzas that are light yet filling. My favorite is the Mexican pizza with ground beef, black beans, and jalapenos. I also recommend the buffalo chicken pizza if they have it. It is a great place to sit and eat for either a quick lunch or a fun dinner in Doylestown. They also have a drive through pick up which is convenient for a quick take out option.

Holy mf! This place was so good! Please come to LA so I can eat you all the time! On a trip and was brought here by a friend. Oh to have known it to not know it again is so sad. I took away star because I kept trying to order from the guy behind the counter and he kept turning his back on me.. it looked like he was ready, so I would start talking, then he would turn around or move something. this happened 3 times before he finally even acknowledged i was standing there. i think a "hold on a moment" or something would have been good. I got three slices: 1) the kale one I just ordered to try and be healthy and it turned out to be my favorite 2) sausage and onion-very yum 3) goat cheese, edamame, carmelized onions....it was pretty good but I probably wouldn't order it again. seemed to lack a little flavor. Overall--2 thumbs up!

I like thin crust. I like lots of topping choices. I like my pizza not greasy. Therefore, I really like Jules Thin Crust. I have tried the Pulled pork, roasted chicken, Italian sausage, and Eggplant pizzas, and approve of all. Ingredients are fresh, and the sauces are good. Only sad part is you'll need to reheat it by the time you get it home.

I love Jules. Can be pricey and not-filling, but definitely delicious and a healthy change-of-pace from your typical triangular slice. Organic, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options invites the whole family. Worth stopping in

Finding vegan dining anywhere in Bucks County is a challenge. Ate at Jules for the first time the other night and WOW. Great, thin crust pizza cooked to perfection with your choice of a dizzying array of fresh (using local produce when available, yeah!) topping choices. Best part? Daiya cheese available! Heaven for vegan pizza fans. Organic salads, too! Crust is not the thinnest "thin crust" I've ever had (that honor belongs to Cafe Fiorella on Columbus Circle, NY, which also serves vegan pizza, by the way!), but it is enjoyable and not overly doughy. Eating tip: If you prefer a red wine with your pizza, the restaurant welcomes BYOB. But bring the bottle with you as we didn't spot any wine shops nearby. The dining is casual, but the food is outstanding!!!

Jules Thin Crust is a great place to get vegan healthy pizza and/or a salad. They are accommodating as far as what you want on your pizza. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and cheerful.

Good pizza and a good concept. It is very thin pizza and you can order a wide variety. They will put the slices through on a conveyor belt to heat them up. They could have been hotter.

JULES PIZZA IS THE BEST! Every town needs a Jules pizza in it! Thin crust pizzas with the freshest, top quality ingredients. They also include organic and local ingredients. They can meet many dietary needs such as gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, dairy free. Many people bring their kids there, young children LOVE Jules. When I watch my young cousins they beg me to take them to Jules. They have really good organic salads with homemade dressings and I believe they have a soup every day. BYOB when you dine in, they also have excellent drive by service for fast pickup. All of their pizzas are delicious, but the best pizzas I've had are the kale pizza, heart warmer pie, and my absolute favorite is honey garlic with local honey! They have such a great variety I could go every day and never get sick of their pizza!

Had it once. Can't really tell nowadays what good pizza is supposed to be, but I enjoyed the "the heart warmer: fresh mozzarella, roasted poblano peppers, cherry tomatoes, red onions, and bell peppers with a balsamic reduction (low sodium option)" I also like the fact you can order online as a convenience.

Don't bother if it's within an hour of the 8:30 closing time. The choices will be slim, and picked-over. If you're going to be open until 8:30, you should have a decent selection until 8:30. Made a special trip there to bring home from slices and left empty-handed. Too bad; I like the one in Newtown for lunch. But this was like going into an ice-cream shop and finding a choice between vanilla and vanilla.

Not sure why everyone loves their pizza. I think it' tastes like cardboard. I guess It's just not my thing, cause everyone just seems to love it. They have Gluten Free options, which is nice, and their service is pretty good too.

  • Chris R.

The pizzas are creative, tasty, fresh and with a nice list of ingredients you can even put your own creativity to the test and design one yourself. For me, one of the best I've had is the pear, brie, and almond pizza (haven't tried them all, yet, so there may be better?) - so tasty even the 3yr-old couldn't put it down. Service is also great - pleasant and helpful. One thing to keep in mind (for all of you used to "standard" crust pizza), Jules Thin Crust takes it's name seriously - it is THIN crust - but it works and lets the ingredients shine through.

  • Cccc B.

Yummy! Their thin crust pizza is amazing! They have so many varieties, most with "gourmet" ingredients not found on the typical pizza. Goat cheese, etc. I've never tried anything but take-out pizza from Jules. Their pizza is the best!

Ate here last night with a buddy from Doylestown. I read a lot of good reviews of the place and thought I would give it a try and I am so glad I did! There is a lot to choose from as far the types of pizza go and they all looked great. I think what I really liked about this place is that it seemed like a healthier version of pizza. The crust is very thin, like the name of the restaurant says, which I like cause you can enjoy more of the toppings. The bulk of the ingredients are advertised as very natural/organic which is good to know that I wasn't eating a ton of preservatives or processed stuff in my pizza. We ordered a large 1/2 #3 "Roasted hormone-free chicken, chopped organic tomatoes and onions, mozzarella, lime juice, cilantro, extra virgin olive oil" and 1/2 Buffalo Chicken: Hormone free roasted chicken, gorgonzola, buffalo dressing, celery, arugula, mozzarella. They both had a very nice flavor, came out in a timely fashion, and filled me up pretty good. The price was right at just $20 for the pizza so $10 for dinner in Doylestown is pretty good. As we were waiting for our pizza I watched as the employees stayed busy with making pizza, taking orders, and taking out pizza to car-side pick up. Seemed like it is a popular choice in town and the people working were helpful, friendly, and did a great job keeping the place clean. I really enjoyed how they have water pitchers throughout the store and it seems very take care of yourself. This is nice because I didn't feel guilty not leaving a tip then since it was mostly a self-service place. I found their website to be very helpful in deciding what I wanted to eat before I got there. I am currently in the process of trying to lose about 75lbs and as such pizza is not something I eat very often. I really enjoyed the crispy crust, fresh toppings, and as a bonus they post their nutritional information about the pizzas on their website! So I had a dinner of pizza for just over 600 calories which is not easy to do! All in all I really enjoyed JTC and I will definitely eat here again if in Doylestown!

Went here simply because we spotted it nearby on foursquare, and saw that they had a free deal of one free slice on first check-in. My girlfriend and I each ordered two slices. Without a doubt, I can say that it's definitely the best gourmet thin crust pizza I've ever had. I had a slice of sweet sausage, onion and argula(?) and then another slice of their Mexican pizza which was topped with black beans, jalapenos and ground beef. Both were delicious, tasted fresh and full of flavor. If this place were nearby, I'd go all the time. Sadly, it's not. All in all, good food at a decent price and nice atmosphere.

  • Rick R.

My girlfriend and I absolutely love this place! She is picky when it comes to pizza, and isn't a huge fan of most places. She loves Jules Thin Crust pizza, though! I agree, the pizza is incredible. The crust is almost cracker thin - it's great! The ingredients all seem fresh and are quite tasty as well. It's great either eating inside or outside on their patio. The ice cold water outside on a hot summer day is a nice addition as well. If you live in the area, or are just passing through, do yourself a favor and STOP in at Jules Thin Crust for a bite to eat! Oh, just as an additional note: It seems to become packed very easily, so be weary. You may just have to grab your pizza and eat it curb-side or in your car. Still worth the stop!

On a day trip passing through Doylestown we stopped at Jules Thin Crust Pizza. I figured with a name like that, they'd probably be able to deliver on what has become our latest obsession...thin pizza crust. I wasn't quite sure what to expect as we walked into the place. I thought it was going to be a little sit-down place w/a wood fired oven being tended by a pizzaioli...instead, it was like a Subways meets California Pizza Kitchen...but in a good way. Basically you pay by the slice and choose from a spread of at least a dozen or more pizzas already cooked up...tell them what you're after and they run it through a conveyor oven to crisp the dough up. I saw in another post the comment that these aren't real pizzas and I can kind of agree with that if your idea of pizza is circular, doughy, saucy and dripping molten threads of mozzarella (think Pizza Hut commercial). These are more like flatbread pizzas carved up & reheated for take-away customers like the pizza shops in Rome. The place seemed to be geared for handling lunch crowds but we found the service was cheerful and patient while we stared out blankly over the row upon row of pizzas to pick from. Of course, they had your traditional pork-centric pizzas, which looked really tasty..all the meat comes from hormone-free animals and they seemed to have a focus on quality ingredient. They had alot of veggie pies to choose from, as well as whole-wheat crust options. First, we picked a slice of the artichoke, basil & tomato white pizza...even with all the veg, the crust held up perfectly and it wasn't a gloppy mess as is so often the case with marinated artichoke toppings. Then we chose the more classic tomato & basil pizza...again, crunchy crust and flavorful toppings made for a great lunch...I wish they had one of these near my office so I could pop out for a slice at lunch.

I went there for lunch. Delicious pizza. It was thin crust, a little thinner than Iike, but that is okay. The toppings included many ORGANIC items, including cheeses. Plenty of truly fresh, high quality vegetarian offerings. In fact, the best selection of quality vegetarian pizza I have ever found. I almost wish they had more meat offerings for their pizza! :) The sauce was tasty and just right. I believe they had gluten-free pizza, I can't remember. One reviewer mentioned BYOB and remarked about the lack of a beer/wine store. I don't recall if there was a BYOB policy because I was there for lunch. However, there is indeed a beer/wine store nearby, about maybe 3 or 4 very short blocks up and then a half-block down. All the pizza was labeled with a description when I was there. The restaurant was very clean, as was the bathroom. Service was friendly and prompt. I would definately return. Truly special pizza. Very highly reccomended!

I went to Jules because it came highly recommended on Yelp and also from the friends I am staying with. I have mixed feelings about it. I think the overall atmosphere is pretty decent: it's very casual and offers a clean presentation. You walk up to the counter and you can either order a custom whole pizza or choose slices from the pizzas they have made (warning: the slices they cut are rather large so you might be set with just one if you're not very hungry). I had the lime/cilantro chicken pizza and the buffalo chicken pizza. The lime/cilantro was a little bit bland and the buffalo chicken was delicious but slightly too spicy for me. All in all, it was good pizza, but nothing to rave about. I would definitely go back to try more of the flavors.

First things first- this is not pizza. Jule's is located in Bucks County, near Philadelphia. This is the land of muffin tops, cheese steaks and dark beer. Thin crust belongs in San Diego as an appetizer. When I think of pizza I think of something that I can fold to slid into my wide mouth. I want my pizza to be thick with either sauce or toppings falling off onto my plate. Jule's is like a saltine cracker with toppings. But now that I have gotten that off of my chest, the food is actually great. It is perfect for lunch or when you just want something light. The variety of choices and speed of receiving your food is great. Tonight I had the pepperoni, sausage and mushroom selection (see how I avoid writing "pizza") and it was delicious. The naturally raised meats taste fresh and refreshing from your typical pizza place. The "crust" is crispy but tasty. Another complaint about Jule's has more to do with Doylestown than with Jule's itself. Everytime that time I dine there I get frustrated with fake East Coast Hippies. Now I love granola and going green as much as a Prius owner, but I do so without the neon light that impedes on someones dining experience. While I sit and enjoy my food (again, no use of "pizza") I do not need to hear about how Little Daisy can only eat goat cheese at age 5. Please enjoy your meal and then go out to your Lexus GX 460 that gets 12 miles to the gallon hypocrite.

This place is great. When my husband and I ordered, I resigned myself to the fact that we'd be hungry later for what we sometimes refer to as "second dinner." Their thin crust is THIN and i just assumed that the salad topping we chose would make for a nice hors d'oeuvre and that's about it. We were pleasantly surprised at how full we felt after 3 pieces each (a piece equals 1/2 of their "slice"). The pizza was delicious and we appreciated the organic ingredients and whole wheat crust options. It was very clean and for only $13 we had a really nice dinner outside on their patio. I would definitely recommend it for a casual, quick & healthy meal in a pleasant setting.

Organic, Seasonal, Sustainable, Local Ingredients. To most of my friends that doesn't mean much, but to me it means that the people at Jules care about both their product, their customers and the world around them. I do go back here for my regular pizza fix, because it is the best game in town. From their Pepperoni to their Chicken, Gorgonzola and Caramelized onion, to the frisee and goat cheese salads and homemade dressings, everything is delicious.

If you are a typical New Yorker looking for your Manhattan slice of pizza, do not come here. You will immediately hate what you see and probably start blurting out profanities because you feel what is going on here is blasphemous. However if you are an open minded person that enjoys to try a spin on the average "pie" of pizza, then this is a terrific place. Most pizza places have specialty pizzas out for a royalty price for a slice. This place doesn't necessarily have a royalty price, but i think most of the slices are all the same price. It is pricey, don't get me wrong, but the quality of the ingredients is superb. I've come here a couple of times and I have always enjoyed it. The pizza is always made fresh, and I have to say again the quality of what they do is great. I do advise you though if you think you can eat more then order it, because the usual slice or three from a regular pizza place will fill you but in this place it wont. The ONLY thing that annoys the sh*t out of me are the doylestown hippie wannabes that hang out here, or as another reviewer stated "East coast hippies*. I completely agree and doylestown seems to be FULL of them. I dont know why, is it their pretentious families make them try to live a different life or they just retarded? I tend to go with the latter being they spend buttloads on food such as this "gluten free" pizza (which jules is) and then drive away in their H2 Hummer.... But this isn't a rant on hating hippies, its on Jules pizza. So in conclusion this place is terrific, the quality and freshness is outstanding, and the flavors they come up with are just great. I definitely recommend.

I'll put a disclaimer now: if you like big triangular pieces of sloppy americanized (read: supersized) pizza, this is not the place for you. Please discontinue reading and take a ride to the dime-a-dozen pizza shack down the street. If you're a bit of a health-a-holic, a bit of an organic-a-holic, or just someone who's sick of the plain, greasy triangle pizza, I 100% recommend Jules Pizza. They have three locations: Doylestown, Jenkintown, and Newtown, so don't use proximity as an excuse - go! I first got hooked on Jules in 2005 when it first opened, and the amazing thing is that it hasn't changed (because it hasn't needed to!) their menu/mission ever in the five years that I've gone. They did do one small solid, which was the addition of gluten-free crust and desserts. They have a variety of veggie and meat options, all organic, from local farms, free-range, you name it, so you can go ahead and order four slices guilt-free. It was so refreshing to take a bite of pizza and taste each fresh flavor, rather than salt and preservatives and grease. My horseback riding instructor, who was born & raised in Northern Italy, says that this is the closest he's ever found to good italian pizza since he's come to America. Their website is great too: easy to read menu, directions, details, and even an ordering online function! The L.D. - this stuff's addicting. So much so that I feel that longing in my stomach when I drive by, so much so that my fiance proposed to me with Jules Pizza, so much so that I'm still disheartened that my kill-joy soon-to-be mother-in-law (whew, that's a lot of hyphens!) refused to have our rehearsal dinner be at Jules. Please please check it out. If it wasn't for quality control, I'd be selling this stuff on the streets like crack.

What a great redemption... Upon reading my last review, the owner of this fine establishment reached out to me, personally, wanting to make things right again. Tonight, I found myself back in Jules Thin Crust, feasting on the veggie pizza I used to love....just the way I like it. When the pie came out, it was colorful, plentiful and extremely fresh. The arugula, mozzarella cheese and tomatoes blended well with the garlic, which was spread throughout the pie, giving it the flavor that it had always intended to have. From the moment I had my first bite, the memories of what I knew this pizza was came rushing back. Another surprise, was the premiere of a dessert pie which consisted of ricotta cheese, strawberries, and a fresh burst of mint, which was also available gluten free. While this item is not yet offered on the regular menu, the experience was incredible and I hope to see more dessert pies in the future. I was impressed not only with the pie, but with the great care given by the staff, and the genuine concern the owner had regarding my satisfaction. This company genuinely cares about keeping their patrons happy, and their standard of quality extremely high. I will return to Jules, as frequently as I had before, knowing that I will surely get the same quality and service that I got tonight.

Jules is an exciting pizza place that has a lot to offer when compared with traditional pizza spots. I respectfully disagree with the gentleman who said "this is not pizza," it is without question pizza so don't let that turn you off from trying this place. They have an extensive variety of pizzas, white, wheat, or gluten free dough, good service, and a welcoming ambience. The atmosphere is a la chipotle with a more "stay a while" feel where bringing your own beer or wine is not abnormal and seemingly encouraged. The food is fresh and incredibly tasty. I recommend the eggplant pizza, out of this world. Highly recommended.

Yum! What a great idea. Wish I had thought of it. Jules has terrific gourmet-topped, thin crust pies. I love the pie with Artichoke hearts, arugula and chopped fresh tomatoes. They offer gluten free alternatives and its a SUPERB place for families with small children. My only complaint? No "white" milk - only chocolate.

Oh boy. This is a Whole Foods-shopping, Franzen-reading, NPR-listening, local-buying, bicycle-riding person's dream pizza. I THINK I'M IN LOVE. I ate pizza with fresh watercress, pizza with edamame and caramelized onions, and pizza with butternut squash. All of it was delicious and interesting, with unexpected flavor combinations and fresh ingredients. The slices are big, which made for a lovely dinner for two for about ten bucks. So when are they opening one of these in the city??

In the last week I've been to Jules 3 times. (I gotta keep that foursquare mayoralship!) I'm kinda addicted. My favy pizza is their mushroom. It's sweet. The mushrooms are succulent. It has cheese. It is bliss. If they are out of mushroom and I don't have time for them to make a new pie, I get a sad face. And then I order Greek, or their regular cheese pizza. Sometimes I even go crazy and get the one with apples on it (in season) In the land of plenty of pizza shops, Jules is truly different. It reminds me of something you'd find in a city (or the burbs) other than Philly. A guy I worked with said Omaha is full of pizza joints like Jules. Actually, that could be their tagline- Jules Thin Crust- just like they serve in Omaha!

Everytime I am in town, I visit Jules to get my Greek salad slice of pizza. I love it- with my Honest Tea peach mango. I understand why people think this is not like the typical pizza, but I think it is better! IF there is one category where items can be modified - its food. And I think Jules style of pizza is an awesome example of taking the next step! They offer healthy choices and special diets, such as gluten free. (I wish more places were like that) I love the place- and I think everyone should at least try it once. And it BYOB.

  • Tracy L.

Don't get me wrong, I will always stop into Jules when I'm in the borough and craving a slice. I appreciate their imaginative use of ingredients, lack of the fake stuff, and the ultra-thin crust. And the pizza is good - I just always come away thinking it sounds a lot better than it actually ends up tasting. Maybe they are a bit too light on the herb and spice seasonings. But when I am too lazy to make my own pie at home, at least I don't feel guilty eating at Jules.

In the area is there a better pizza place? Excellent fresh toppings. The tomato cilantro chicken pizza is a bit unorthodox but amazing. Crust stays crispy. Pros: The cilantro Chicken Pizza...best pizza of the 6 I tried...will go back for more of the veggie pizzas. Cons: They don't serve beer, though that's more of a con by the PA Liquor Board Mafia.

  • Mike Z.

Jules is great if you are looking for a change of pace when it comes to pizza. Don't expect the typical overly greasy slice here. The menu and topping combinations are really unique and each one I have tried has been great. Its refreshing to try new flavor s all together on a light thin crust, so the toppings are the focus of the meal! Also I feel like I can eat more slices since I'm not being filled up with primarily dough and cheese. Definitely more pricey than your average pie, but this isn't your normal pizza joint pie. If you are looking for lots of toppings, more flavors, hit up Jules for sure.

Kind of our default restaurant. For those evenings when you want something good, not too filling, and don't feel like cooking. Never done the "fly by" take out service, but it seems popular. Also on weekends BYOB is popular for a relaxed date night.

Based on the great star rating and reviews on here, I assume this pizza is pretty bangin. Unfortunately, we left before we got a chance to try it. I don't know whose the brainiac behind the concept of putting a bunch of pizzas out on display for people to choose from with no labels telling you what anything is. Did it look good? Yes... I mean I think? I think what ingredients I could discern looked good. When the completely disinterested teenager finally meandered slowly over to us to take our order I ask "how do we know what anything is?" she looked at me like I asked -the stupidest question ever-. "well these are all our meat pies over here, and the veggie pies are over here." Um. Ok. Sooooo, what's on them? Is it all the stuff on the menu (impossible because there were less varieties out than on the menu and she told us such). Ok. Uhh. So. What's on... That one? She impatiently tells us. It's not something we want. She seems really annoyed that we may potentially ask her what is on all the unlabeled pizzas. We are annoyed that we have to ask, and there is a line forming behind us. Well, this is bs. So we left. Honestly, like what the eff? Are we the only people who find it odd that we are just supposed to pick what we want without knowing what's on anything? What if we have certain allergies? How much extra effort is it to make a damn label and stick it in front of the pizza? So, whatever Jules. I'll stick to making my own pizza, at least I'll know what's on it. Disorganized. Bad service. No thanks.

Jules Thin Crust is a non-traditional pizza place with the "organic" touch. You probably won't like it if you are hooked on the round tomato pie, mozzarella cheese and a thicker crust. The appeal is to those looking for really fresh organic ingredients in a variety of combinations on a very thin gluten-free crust. There are other differences vs. the traditional pizza pie at the local pizza shop: 1. There are no Italians to be seen anywhere. Local "yuppie" types with a "tree hugger" sense about them. 2. All ingredients are organic. 3. The pies are oval, not round. 4. If you order a slice, you get a rectangular "slice"...not a triangle. 5. The slice is heated in a toaster oven-like device--something like the Burger King flame broiler except no fire or grease. 6. They recycle and used paper products made from recycled paper. Its worth the visit, but you may not like it if your hooked on the traditional pizza experience.

I recently went here after yoga. The pizza is sublime and actually makes you feel happy. They only use quality, organic, top notch ingredients. Try their speciality pizzas such as: the butternut squash, with apples and goat cheese. I also had their eggplan parm pizza and I was amazed. They also recently reduced their prices. Go to Jules. You will be sublimely happy you did!

This is some of the best pizza I've ever tasted. They have a lot of options you won't find anywhere else and it's all organic. There's no delivery but you can call ahead, pay with your credit card and they'll bring your order out to the car for you. The dining room can get pretty crowded on the weekends but it's still a nice place to eat any time. They have a good amount of outdoor seating when the weather is warm. The drink options are kind of limited but It's BYOB so you can always bring some wine or whatever you want with you. I haven't taken advantage of that yet, but it's nice to have the option. Jules definitely has the best pizza in Doylestown, if not the entire state of PA. It's the place I find myself recommending the most.

love going to jules whenever i go home to visit. my personal favorites are the artichoke, mozzarella, tomato and when available in the fall, the butternut squash, ricotta, and granny smith pizza (genius combination!). the people who work there are friendly and efficient, and sitting down to eat there is very inviting (unlike other fast food chains, there is no iridescent lighting). it's casual and lovely. also, unlike other fast food chains, this place serves organic, local food! how awesome is that?

Just about anytime I am in D-town, I stop at Jules. The pizza is great and they use a lot of organic ingredients which I appreciate. The organic edamame, goat cheese and mint pizza will blow your mind.

This is the best pizza around. They actually make you feel like what you're eating is healthy. My favorite pizza is no longer on the menu, but i think they will make it for you: white pizza with ricotta, garlic, fig and potato chips. Their organic salads are great too.

I stopped there after reading the reviews here on Yelp. I've always like thick crust pizza but i have to say this pizza is sooo good! I was going to a party later that day so i only got one slice for lunch. I want to go back to taste more soon!

my favorite is the arugula topping on this yummy thin crust pizza. Once we ordered on the phone and we ordered the wrong number pizza off the menu. When we got home, we were bummed. The manager, when called, immediately gave us a credit for our next visit, which for us, happened almost immediately. Great thin crust.... yum!

Good, fresh, unique pizza. Never thought about artichokes on pizza. If you are looking for old school pizza this is not the place for you. This pizza is different but excellent.

Love it, especially the potato chip pizza, the only negative on that one is you can't get a slice. Have to order a whole pizza but delish! Chicken and onion slice superb! Love Jules

Jules is trying. The concept is awesome. BUT the crust is like tasteless cardboard and the sauce seems straight out the can. But 2 stars for trying.

Love their thin crust pizza. They use organic ingredients. Their pizza tends to be relatively healthier than the usual pizza most people eat. Toppings are crazy fun. Goat cheese, pears, edamame, eggplant, mint are just a start. They have a great meat and non-meat selections. You can choose one of their pre-made pizzas or create your own which they do right in front of you. I love getting a few slices or a whole pie when I am in Doylestown. Definite recommendation.

If Jules were a franchise, there would be one opening up in every town worth visiting.
