Had the NY strip and it was cooked perfectly, flavor wad amazing! Had the chocolate chip pie for dessert, it was fantastic! Weather was beautiful and we were able to sit in the outside area, great place to enjoy a relaxing dinner! We will be back next time we are in coudersport!

My favorite restaurant in Coudersport! The Hickory Burger is the best. If you are in the area make sure you eat here. Great staff & atmosphere.

Their philly cheesesteak was delicious. My roommates have been raving about their homemade cookie pie. I tried it. It's like a gooey chocolate chip cookie on a pie crust, topped with a large scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzled with chocolate syrup. Too bad they won't share their recipe! Had a sangria- it was lovely.

First time visit did not go as expected. As We live in a remote area We have difficulty finding eateries that make Us want to return. Sweden Valley Inn now falls into this category. Positives, pleasant wait staff and great wings. Negatives, salad bar greens are dried out and bitter. Salad dressing is in tiny sample cups but the two I tried were not too bad. Premium Steak on menu was to be medium rare. Once into with a steak knife, cutting was impossible. Very rare but I guess that's up to the Chef to decide whether or not it is what One wants. I had given up trying to eat it but elected not to send it back. The kicker was the really long hair I found in My coleslaw. Diners at the table next to Us saw it and My Wife told Me to put it down before Anyone else saw it. Waitress removed item from the bill. I opted to just pay and tip then leave. Other staff member said " Well the Sun is shining " Thankfully I thought as We were able to get out and drive away faster. I worked in the restaurant field. Sanity and cleanliness was upmost then proper preparation of food fare next. If You personally don't care, this is Your place.

I was in the area for business and when I asked the locals where to go they recommended this place... but cautioned that I enter with blue jeans not the suit I was wearing! It is very casual with a basic bar menu but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The salad looked like it had just been picked from the garden with lots of healthy and colorful items added. I had the junior cheesesteak - I know.... not the usual healthy stuff I aspire to but definitely worth every calorie piled high with every additional add- on you can put in a steak sandwich. A beer added to that made this bar a happy way to end the day in this area of "God's Country".

This restaurant is located on Route 6 a few miles east of Coudersport proper in the Sweden Valley. It's a restaurant-bar with a country feel and TV monitors mounted throughout the restaurant. The menu is what you would expect for this sort of restaurant. The help is friendly, and the food is competently cooked, but nothing special. Vegetarians will have trouble finding anything to eat. Even non red meat eaters will have few choices.

Very nice staff and the food was good and reasonably priced! My fish sandwich was very tasty! I would definitely go back when I'm in the area.
