My first ever Yelp review goes to this wonderful place! A friend of mine came to visit me from Pittsburgh and we went to Olga's. Super amazing place, wonderful guitarist was playing there live. Food was awesome! Some of the dishes from their menu are super delicious and very hard to find anywhere else. This is the coolest restaurant! My friend couldn't believe that Coudy would have such an amazing place too! If you're planning to visit Coudy or Potter county and looking for something extra ordinary in any restaurant.. Olga is your answer!

So I don't write review often, but every once in a while I eat at a place that warrants one. While attempting to do some star gazing at cherry springs state park, we stopped at Olga's for dinner. At first glance you would expect a mediocre menu with taste to match. The place is half food and half art gallery. Not what this food junkie wants to see in an eatery. HOWEVER, this taught me a lesson about prejudging a place. First round, bacon blue chips. Bacon+Blue cheese+housemade potato chips= pure awesomeness. Even my bacon fearing wife found pure bliss in this appetizer. I chased the starter with the pulled pork sandwich. Again. house smoked pork butt, with a sweet tangy sauce on a roll. Paired with purple cole slaw and more of the chips. Now I consider myself well versed in the world of pulled pork. I've had in more states in more regions of the country I can remember. I am particular and a hardass when grading it. I would put this sandwich on par with any I have had in Memphis, the Carolina's, the Virginia's, or any other place I have had one. Go to Olga's. Buy some art from Olga. Talk to John the owner/chef. And I promise you will not be disappointed.

This is the five star destination of the region. I always come here for a break when I go stargazing.

Stumbled upon this place while camping at cherry springs. An absolute pleasure to eat here. Great food, great drink, great service, fantastic atmosphere and a nice crowd of colorful regular. Beautiful. Almost brought me to tears

Olga's was an interesting experience. I was visiting this small town from the big city and was surprised to see a place like Olga's which served things from Vietnamese coffee to traditional German soups. My friends and I commented that the portions seemed small compared to their prices, but after a day of not eating, we were full! I got the buffalo mozzarella ravioli. The sauce was sweet and the cheese was of a nice quality. When I asked if the sauce was cooked with meat, the waiter said no, and then offered me a vegan soup realizing that I'm vegetarian. I got a leek soup which was phenomenal.

Delicious food, vegetarian options, friendly service, and a wonderful atmosphere! I highly recommend Olga's to anyone passing through Coudersport.

Let me just say, this place is amazing! Between the incredible food fare that they provide to the beautiful artwork that Olga produces, I will not be able to say enough positive regarding this establishment. Olga, her husband (whose name I unfortunately did not catch.) and their staff have created a gem within God's Country (Potter County is indeed God's Country)! My opinion might be slightly askew due to the fact that they serve Three Philosophers from Brewery Ommegang, but that is certainly my prerogative. Seriously, if you're up that way, give this place a try your very first night, you will not regret it.

The space is absolutely beautiful, much of the craftsmanship hand-done. Read the information on the menu about the building- it's so interesting! We didn't choose to partake, but they do have a pretty extensive beer list including craft and local brews- actually they have a full bar including a small but broad enough wine list. We started off with bacon blue chips, which consisted of their homemade potato chips (THEY WEREN'T GREASY!!!) with gorgonzola and bacon. Hubby wanted to try this and since it was raining on his Cherry Creek stargazing parade, I rolled with the bacon and was pleasantly surprised- this was excellent and not at all fatty. A great start. We then enjoyed very good salads with a homemade balsamic, which was fantastic. Hard to impress someone with a simple garden salad but they did. Fresh basil stood out in the vinegarette, and the veggies, particularly the tomatoes, were wonderfully fresh. Though I usually don't order beef at restaurants (I'm way too picky about the quality of beef to be satisfied, most of the time), I decided to go for the regional specialty- beef on wek. It's roast beef on kümmelwek, which is a roll with caraway seeds and coarse salt sprinkled on the top, with horseradish served on the side. It was excellent. The roast beef was flavorful and moist, and the portion was so generous that I couldn't finish it. Hubby had a taste and agreed it was very good. His meal, a pulled pork sandwich, was also delicious. He's usually one to criticize BBQ- the smoke ring wasn't sufficiently impressive, the sauce was too vinegary, etc. He polished off his sandwich before I was half finished mine. Both came with more of the awesome homemade chips. Glad I broke my rule and tried the beef, which the owner told me matter-of-factly is the best in Potter County. Hey, ain't bragging if you can back it up. We spent some time talking with the owner, John- what a nice guy. And if Joel's Pulled Pork Chips are on the menu when you visit, thank my husband- his idea! :) plus, I walked out with handful of funky, unique necklaces and bracelets from the sale rack, for less than $30! Yay!

Absolutely loved Olga's. Was in the area for the dark skies and looking for a place to celebrate our anniversary and sad to find very few options but Olga's is a gem. The bistro style food is fresh and tasty and the atmosphere was wonderful. Enjoyed walking around the gallery and shop and couldn't resist coming home with a few treasures. A great little refreshing place to brighten your day in the middle of Potter County wilderness. Thanks for the great dinner!

Started coming to the area 4-5 years ago with my son to a famous traditional archery shoot. Never in my wildest dreams did I EVER expect to find Olga and her incredible eatery tucked away in a very small town in the Canyon Country of north central PA!!! We live 25 minutes outside of Manhattan in North Jersey and constantly remark how Olga's can easily hold its own with the marvelous variety and quality of our eateries. Each special stands on its own and can easily be a mainstay of any other menu. Tonight we had unreal pulled pork nachos. From the fresh crisp homemade chips to the sweet tantalizingly delectable pulled pork itself. Drizzled in an outstanding mop/sauce. They were followed up by her Beef on Weick (spelling?) which is her take on a local roast beef sandwich. I can honestly say the quality of the beef, sliced to be fall apart tender, paired with an singularly tremendous au jus, topped with horseradish on a soft, delicious caraway seed roll is the best roast beef sandwich I've ever had! We'll eat there at least 3 of the 5 nights we spend in town each year....!

While my husband and I were staying at a nearby B&B for our anniversary weekend, we decided to try this place for dinner. The pizza was so divine and the art made it so inviting that we went back for dinner on Saturday night as well! If you are a hiker in search of places to go, ask John - he is a wealth of knowledge! This place was indeed lovely - I wished I lived closer to it!

Coudersport, PA is a surprising town. It sits at the base of a green mountain with the Allegheny River winding through town. It's an old town full of well maintained old buildings downtown and some beautiful houses. It's a great jumping off place to all things nature-connected. And it has one of the most amazing yarn shops I've ever seen. But Olga's is more than just a yarn shop. It is also an art gallery full of Olga's work. It also sells jewelry and always has had a group of friendly local folk there working on their personal projects when I've stopped in.

Friendly people, fresh food, laid back nice atmosphere. Good lunch spot, looks to be good bar at night as well! I had the Beef on Weck..not bad, but anything negative is mostly due to my dislike of plain roast beef. Accepts AMEX and has WiFi.

What a surprise to find such a good restaurant in the small town of Coudersport, PA. We spent the day trying to spot Elk and were rewarded up close with a huge buck. While traveling on a dirt road, we experienced a flat tire causing us to change our plans and ended up hungry in Coudersport. Discovering Olga's Cafe was very fortunate. The menu was very interesting and when our food arrived, it was outstanding! We were entertained with local music that added to pleasure while taking our time eating. The atmosphere is very condusive to relaxing and spending the early evening over a great meal.. Hopefully the locals will discover this gem!

While calling something the "Best Gastropub in Coudersport" doesn't exactly put it into exclusive company, it is a sincere compliment. This is an amazing dining and drinking destination for anyone who knows their way through a good beer list. John who is one of the owners is a font of knowledge behind the bar. He is not only the conductor of the interesting rotating beer list, but of a great resource for regional trivia as well. The food is two notches above what you would expect as well. What is "Beef on Weck"? Deliciousness, that's what. While it never seems to have the deserving amount of traffic (maybe its because I am only there on quiety week days) I wager that there isn't a better place within 40 miles. This is something special. Curl up to the bar, don't open a menu, and let John take care of you...

This place is very "homey". Did not to expect to find a place like this out here in the mountains. Truly a gem. Very nice and friendly people. Food was excellent, nicely prepared and some unique choices! Olga's art is incredible too! Browse while your food is getting ready! Reasonable prices. Will be back when in the area!
