The lunch time staple when I'm working in the area. Great turkey burgers and breakfast served til 3pm! Super quick and friendly service. Nice small business to support.

I've been wanting to try this place out for a while, so after church I made my way over. First, the service was super fast and friendly. Although this may be due to the fact that I ordered like a ten-year-old. Regular pancakes and some home fries. (I always want something sweet for breakfast along with something I can put ketchup on). The pancakes were a decent size and priced well. They were golden brown with powdered sugar on top (always like that extra touch). Home fries were nice and chunky (although that doesn't sound appealing it's the only word I can think of to describe them...) Con: no Heinz ketchup. I cringe when I see "fancy ketchup"...but I am a Pittsburgh girl. The best part, I think, is the atmosphere from the staff. They were laughing with each other, making jokes, and I really like that. One server, not sure if she knew the family, even told a couple of small children, "if you finish all your lunch I have a special treat for you". I'm not a parent, but I've seen enough of my cousins give my aunts and uncles a hard time about eating all their food. I thought this was really considerate. I'll definitely be going back and try some of their specialty pancakes/french toast/waffles...I'm a sucker for sweet breakfast.

Service is fast. Maybe too fast (flipping tables). Food is extremely unhealthy. Hard to find something to order other that scrambled eggs that wouldn't make me want to go home and take a nap. Everything is Cinnamon Bun this, Raison Bread that.... Not running back there anytime soon...

This place is great. The food is always good and the service is excellent. They have a pretty extensive menu and everything is moderately priced. The food is pretty much stuff that you'd find at a diner with a few unique items here and there. I'm a fan of breakfast and they serve it until 3 PM. That right there is enough of a reason for me to give them 5 stars. Most recently I had the Chicken Fried Steak skillet and it was tasty. It was also huge. I could barely finish it. If they served the gravy by itself as a main dish I would order a bowl of that every time I eat here.

This place is just so-so. I actually thought the food was much better when it was Ray's Burgers and it was strictly a burger and sandwich joint - go figure since it's apparently the same owners. Supposedly their breakfasts are good, so maybe expanding to include breakfast and other menu items is overstepping their bounds a bit and now they fall short in the areas where they used to excel? Food seems to me to be mediocre overall but they do give you decent portions for the price and they run lots of specials. The biggest gripes that I have - burgers served with lettuce that is almost all the white and yellow (tasteless and/or bitter) inside portion of the head and the menu states that "the hamburgers are 1/2 lb patty". There is NO WAY that is a 1/2 pound burger as it's not even as big a patty as you get on a 1/4 pounder from McDonald's. Man do I hate false advertising. The servers are friendly and attentive and the interior is done up rather nicely. Not sure that's enough to carry it though because as a burger/sandwich joint the competition is doing a much tastier job in my opinion. Maybe their breakfasts are superior enough to make up for what they lack as a sandwich shop.

    The crab Benedict is fantastic!

Just OK for me. I only go there when I feel like having their potato pancakes, which are very good. Cream chipped beef should automatically come over toast right? Their default is over fried potato chunks, which surprised me and kind of ruined it. Honestly not bad, but there's much better.

This place is awesome! Their menu has constants that are awesome, but also seasonal items that change every week. Their crab eggs benedict and french onion soup are to die for! I've been meaning to contact Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives about this place because its just that good. I try to go there as much as I can, and you should too, because small businesses in Collegeville are drying up left and right and this one really needs to stick around!

Quite possibly the worst burger I have ever had. Sloppily thrown together, greasy taste and way overpriced. I'm going out of my way to register on yelp for the first time just to post this. On top of it, the burger has made me physically ill. Wish I could give less than one star.

Good spot for a nice, unhurried breakfast. If you come in for breakfast, try the oddly-named "potato cakes," which are actually deep-fried patties made out of mashed potatoes, jack cheese, and minced onion and are quite delicious. The other thing I've tried is the "meat lover's skillet," which is great except for the large unnerving dollop of DayGlo orange "cheddar cheese sauce" (which has the consistency of buttercream frosting) lying on top of the food. It tasted good, though.

My husband and I just moved to Collegeville and I am kicking myself for not trying this place sooner! Visited on a Saturday morning, so there was a little bit of a wait since the place is not very big, but they seated us fairly quickly. Service was very friendly and the food was fantastic. My husband had the crab Eggs Benedict, which I will definitely be ordering on my next visit- perfectly poached egg and balance of flavors. My cinnamon bun french toast had a light and spongy texture, and was also superb. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

Just went to Corner Cafe 29 for the second time. Both times the food was really good. They have really decadent French Toast options like Cinnamon Bun French Toast and Banana Bread French Toast. The cafe is small and has some outdoor seating. It is very clean and a nice place to go for a weekend breakfast. They serve lunch and breakfast all day, but I've only ever gotten breakfast there. This most recent time, I got their breakfast sandwich which is egg, cheese, and a choice of meat (I ordered it without the meat) on sourdough bread and a side of hash browns. It was really good. The sourdough bread was great. They have a lot of breakfast options for vegetarians like waffles, french toast, etc. Most of them come with a side of meat, but you could always go without. Our waitress was a little inattentive, and we had to just sit there and wait a while for our check, but it wasn't a big deal. Other than that the place was great, and I would definitely go back again.

This spot is mediocre at best. When I read these reviews and see 4 and 5 stars after eating there, people lose all credibility. The food isn't bad. It's just not good. They make your food basically as good as you can at home. I had eggs benedict, which wasn't bad, but as I said it was just average. I had a side of sausage that looked like they just opened some Jimmy Dean sausage patties and microwaved them. My waitress brought me coffee and didnt even think to offer cream or sugar and just bailed on me. But let the food speak for itself. If I go out to breakfast, I want something above average if I am to spend my money somewhere. If you are just looking to get something in your hungover belly, this will suffice but don't expect anything anywhere near gourmet.

This is the place that used to be Ray's Burgers. Same owners, different concept. Can get crowded on weekends for breakfast. Portions are large and they also offer skillets if you are hungry. Menu is pretty similar to what you would find at a small breakfast place or diner. They even serve burgers and fried from Ray's old menu. Service is friendly and efficient. This is a small place, so don't be surprised if you have to wait for a table on a weekend.

I've started going to this place on a regular basis. It's not that big, but the staff are always helpful and on the ball. They have a great make your own omelet selection which i tried today.Yum! Corn beef hash omelet.

Walked in here at 7:30 am on a Saturday. Looked like we were the first customers. Within seconds we had coffee and within 10 minutes our food was in front of us. I had the vegetable skillet and my husband ate the sausage skillet. It was served hot and delicious. We have had the same server many times and she always greets us with a smile. When we left at 8:05 all the other tables were full. And they were all being served at a quick pace.

When my wife and I first tried this place it was just okay. Then one day I went in alone to have a late breakfast -as they state, they serve breakfast all day. It was worse than before. Eggs were sloppy; looking as if they were poorly prepared, and then the home fries looked to be precooked. When I started eating them, they were ice cold... That was my last day for a long, long time. Fast forward a few years; my wife and I were in the mood to take a chance on this place, thinking that it may have improved from the past. So we tried this restaurant again, and it was excellent! 4-5 Stars! That is how good! Everything was prepared as we ordered it, service was great, the crowd of customers was good, and atmosphere was great. It almost reminded me of a diner that I often used to visit when I was younger. Everything was amazing for a few months. We began to feel as if this was our new "go-to-place" for breakfast. Whether just my wife and I, or for friends. We recommended it to countless people that were looking for a good diner like this. But all that had changed... About 2 visits ago we noticed that our food was running a little late (about 40 minutes); as other customers were getting their meals before us... No problem, this type of thing is sometimes expected. The waitress then returned to our table, apologized, and informed us that our food would be out shortly. But it was another 20 mins. Finally, I looked towards the kitchen and saw two cooks looking at us with their arms folded, giving me a dirty look. No food was on the grill... Okay, whatever. Then as it seemed they started to work on the order one of the cooks sneezes right towards our food, which was currently in the process of making. I KNOW THIS MAY SOUND RIDICULOUS AND HARD TO BELIEVE BUT IS TRUE! Shocked, I naturally turned all my attention towards the kitchen, and the cook made eye contact and was trying to act like a tuff thug. Our waitress, who was watching them, then turned her head in our direction. As the waitress and I made eye contact, she smiled as if we were the brunt end of a joke... Despite what took place, I decided to write it off as a one time thing... Two weeks later we returned. We ordered our usual, nothing complicated or some ridiculous request. We ended up waiting even longer this time... MORE THAN AN HOUR... Our waitress came over again and again filling our coffee mugs, but never reassured us that our food was on its way out. I wanted to ask, but having worked in a restaurant for most of my life, I know how a question can sometimes be taken as a threat and often lead to bad service, being mistreated, or worse. So as I was looking towards the waitress to flag her down, I see the same WANNA BE HARD-ASS COOK staring at my wife and I. As if he was trying to threaten us, and in fewer words; he was trying to send a message, that we were not welcomed. Everyone had received their food before us. AND I DO MEAN EVERYONE... The waitress came over and told us it would only be a minute, but the cooks just stood in the back, arms folded, and eyes fixed on us. Eventually we did get our food. Again, it was just thrown together and extremely sloppy. My wife's Eggs Benedict were not as we ordered, and they didn't strain the water from the eggs, so the plate and English muffin were soaked with water... My wife was extremely upset. I decided to ask for another muffin dry. After receiving the dry muffin, my wife begins to find out that her eggs were not as ordered and were extremely loose and undone. As I look to the kitchen the same two cooks are giving me a dirty look, and two waitresses are looking at us as well. One of which was smiling, as if we were being toyed with and we were just a joke... Unsatisfied, upset, and feeling as if she was being picked on; my wife had to leave the restaurant. I was practically finished my food, when I decided to write a few comments on the back of our check, then leave it for the manager, or owner to review. My guess is that the note will NOT find its way to either or. So I decided to write this comment and see if anyone else has been treated this way at this restaurant.

Have been stopping in here for breakfast at least once a week for the past few weeks. This is a nice little place offering basic breakfasts with decent portion sizes and good prices. Every time I've been here, the place tends to be pretty packed. It's on the smaller side in terms of seating, but does offer both indoor and a few outdoor seats. Service is OK, but could be a little quicker, especially on the coffee refills. Bacon tends to come out crispy without me even asking, which is just the way I like my bacon. My boys like the Mickey Mouse pancakes, which comes with bacon and an egg. Will definitely continue to come back for breakfast. They do also serve lunch, but haven't tried any of their lunch menu items yet.

Wow. I had the Florentine Eggs Benedict and was extremely satisfied. Even though they ran out of english muffins (I ordered close to closing time) it was very very tasty with toast. Poached eggs can be hit or miss but both were cooked perfect. The portions were very good size. The potato cakes were the perfect amount of crispy without being burnt. The employees were kind and very helpful for a take out order. I am so happy I finally found a place in the Collegeville area that has (incredible) breakfast served all day.

Great breakfast! Crisp bacon. Egg white omelet was perfect. Fruit was very fresh and waitress very attentive and friendly. Seems most customers are regulars.

Great experience here. Our waitress, Tory, was friendly and knowledgeable. The place was full on a Mon at 11:00, with lots of regulars, a real family atmosphere. Joey the chef even came out to see how our meal was. We got the sausage skillet, which was a great all in one breakfast. Also the sausage quesadilla, fabulous! The potato cakes were amazing. Something your "bubby" would be proud of. I will come here whenever I'm in the area.

I really, really want this place to make it! It's great to have a diner so close and convenient. Last time we went, I ordered an omelet and asked for spinach to be added as well. The spinach was from frozen and had little seasoning. They charged us $1.50 for just the spinach! wow. Coffee is good, potato pancakes are good too. Let's not nickel and dime the customer please.

Food was prepared ok (not burnt, cooked to temp) but lacked flavor. I had the cream chipped beef and my husband had the "big guy" plate. Both were mediocre. The service was bad. A bunch of workers - all of them did not smile AT ALL! The waitress seemed annoyed that we asked for basics (extra napkins, 1 coffee refills). The young girl behind the register was the most miserable person in there - she had a black gateway pharmacy sweatshirt on with her sleeves over her hands, randomly wiping her nose with the end of her sleeve. Gross - never a smile or even a thank you!!! This is NOT OK with me. We won't be going back.

I am a Benedict freak. Love them. All kinds. I have had them many places here and in the city. On a Saturday afternoon it was almost empty, great, fast service. Menu is expansive and they serve breakfast all day - bonus. Server was knowledgable an very pleasant and patient, Erin was her name. Got crab Benedict, classic Benedict, and strawberry waffle. Coffee was endless and hot, Erin refilled several times while we chatted. I requested poached eggs a little more well than runny, one was dry - I didn't care. Requested easy hollandaise and wasn't an issue. Crab cake was flavorful although I was expecting more lump style, but it was under 10 bucks - ill take a crab cake for that. Home fries were REAL POTATOES!!! So yummy. I love that! Waffle was fluffy yet crisp. ***keep in mind that all the options are under 10 bucks, and your in collegeville not center city. Keep your expectations where they should be and not in the sky. It is very hard to find a brunch spot that is that nice, and welcoming. Definately going to return*** Erin was great!

Delicious food if you're looking for a small local diner with great breakfast food for a good value. Nothing too fancy, just your a wide variety of omelettes and your standard breakfast fare. The Big Guy breakfast is delicious and a good value and the Meat Lover's Scramble is another favorite of mine!

I absolutely LOVE breakfast, but this place ruined it one weekend for my wife and I. We tried it right after they opened. My wife's eggs were runny and her other food was barely warm. I ordered a "skillet," which I love at other breakfast spots. What they brought me instead was a skillet-shaped ceramic dish. The eggs were cold and runny, and all they did was take it back and reheat it - they didn't even re-fire the order. Take a trip to Anna Marie's, the Limerick Diner or even Bob Evans - way better food, experience, and service - overall, more bang for your buck.
