This is a great little place to stop in when you're traveling somewhere, and need a quick, but good bite to eat. The bagels all seemed, and tasted, very fresh and there was a big variety. While I didn't love that I had to pour my own coffee, the service was very fast, friendly, and most importantly it was busy, so you know people like it here!

Manhattan bagels is a nice place to get a dozen bagels or a bagel sandwich. They make the egg sandwiches fresh upon ordering. If you drink it, their coffee is decent and priced fairly.

Breakfast sandwich was freshly made and not too greasy. But the staff is unfriendly and slow: four people not really working behind the counter.

The Manhattan Bagel in the Chesterbrook Shopping Center is my go-to these days for coffee on my way to my new job. Service is quick and friendly and they all know my boss there - she is there every morning. There are usually 5 pre-brewed selections - Decaf, House Blend, Hazelnut and 2 others (today is was Dark Roast and Pumpkin Spice). Bagels are good too - but I need to lay off of those for a while. This is a much cleaner location than the one in Center City.

The bagels are always fresh, even when I go in at 2:00 pm. I love the selection of cream cheese... The veggie one is my favorite! The staff here is very accommodating... Always remembers me and my order and are so friendly. My favorite lunch spot and bagel shop by far!

I used to frequent this place often; their food and drink selection is not bad. But I've since stopped--because the service is just horrible. The employees are unfriendly and slow, acting as if they're doing you a massive favor by taking your order. When my friend and I would sit down to eat, the cashiers would constantly stare at us after we finished our food, making it very uncomfortable to linger over coffee and talk--this wasn't during some huge rush hour; there was only one other customer in the store. Not a good vibe at all. I've also been shortchanged by them three different times--I didn't notice the first time (went back to check my receipts later on), but the second and third time I noticed that they charged me for a more expensive item rather than the plain bagel I ordered. Instead of apologizing and returning my money, I had to argue with the cashier and another employee (not sure if this was the manager) to get my money back. Ridiculous! I'm pretty sure the only reason they get customers is because they're the only breakfast place around with decent food--it certainly isn't for their service or atmosphere.

Good place to grab a bagel in the Valley Forge area. I went after 1 p.m. and the onion bagel I ate tasted fresh and soft. Seems like they offer breakfast sandwiches during all hours which is great to know because sometimes I just want an egg sandwich. P.S. The whole Chesterbrook shopping center is very hidden but I like that, means that places won't ever get too busy.
