I am so glad I found this gem of a place while spending a week in Chambersburg for work! I was lucky enough to come on a night that a great local band was playing at the pub. Despite it being very busy when I arrived, the bartender took time to walk me through the different beers they had and offer suggestions. All 5 beers I tried in a flight were AWESOME - these guys really know how to make good beer. The service was great, the food was outstanding, and I never had an empty glass. I only wish this place was closer to home so it could be my local watering hole!

My husband and I stopped at Roy Pitz for lunch while we were driving through Chambersburg to look at a truck, and we were so glad to have found this place! We appreciated the Sour Red Ale on top, the perfect balance of bread and cheese in the brie appetizer, and the relaxed but professional staff. I would have liked a larger menu with more food options, but will definitely return if ever in the area.

Support local and have a great beer! Roy Pitz Brewing Company is an awesome place to go for a beer. They recently added a larger area to their Stube so more people can come enjoy locally crafted beer. Beers are unique and they will feature seasonal beers as well. Something for every taste. You can also purchase a sandwich or panini if you're getting hungry. No fries, sadly. Maybe someday. Roy Pitz will feature live music every Saturday and some weeknights, too. They get some good stuff playing in there! It can be very crowded when they feature a popular band. Not a beer fan? They carry local Adams County Winery wine for guests in a party who don't want beer. This place is very cool inside. It's not some dive bar or anything like that. It's located in a refurbished old textile factory. Tall ceilings, original windows, wood floors. A very rich and welcoming environment that draws crowds of young and old, but not rowdy. The staff are friendly and take pride in serving you some awesome beer. Not sure what you want? Try a sample or two. Or, get a flight to start things off. Find something you really like? Get a growler to go. Then, bring it with you next time for a refill! I'm really glad Chambersburg has this gem. I love supporting these liquid artists and their start-up brewery. They do a wonderful job at making craft beer. Cheers!

The food here is great... on par with what you'd expect from a good brewpub.... The beer, however, is disappointing to anyone who has been to a brewery that serves above average beer. If you're looking for atmosphere and good food, Roy Pitz has it. If you want great beer, you'll be disappointed. It's cool to have a local brewery, but it's ok at best.

THE BEER STUBE IS OPEN! Roy-Pitz now has a place to dine and enjoy pints of their awesome beer. Menu consists of sandwiches, Panini's and finger foods. I enjoyed perhaps the best pulled pork sandwich in Chambersburg and my friends raved about their sandwiches. LIVE music Thursday and Saturday. The Stube is the place to be!

I would have given this place more stars, if maybe it had met my expectations. You can tell this place is run/owned by younger individuals, as the website is way better than the actual brewery establishment itself. Dont get me wrong, they had gret beers, and I was super happy with the drinks. However, they are missing a great opportunity to make this place amazing, since the building that they are in is very industrious, wide open and masculine feeling. Dont plan on this being a drinks and dinner place, as you will leave hungry. But its good for a pre-dinner appetizer or drinks and a 4th meal. Since I was a visitor to the city, I was expecting it to be crowded and a wait to get in, but no. And they even had plenty of floor space left for more tables. I think in a couple of years they could make this place a destination for those other than "locals". Id go back on my next trip, just to see if its grown any or to see if they spruce up the interior a bit.

Roy Pitz is a hidden jewel in Chambersburg. Their Brews are amazing, and you cant go wrong with the "Best Blonde" If you haven't stopped in at the "Beer Stube" yet, you are truly missing out.

I love this place!! I'm sure I've had Roy Pitz beers at a brewer's fest, but I didn't appreciate this brewery until I visited it. It's a tiny little place in weird little back corner of Chambersburg, but they make some consistently fabulous beers. The guys that run it are obviously so passionate about their craft. When we went they we hosting a Keswick Creamery cheese pairing. We had a great time learning about how Roy Pitz got started, touring the tiny facility and drinking delicious beer and eating delectable cheese. They even tapped their keg of watermelon beer for guests to try even though it wasn't fully fermented. It was delicious! I don't think there was one style of beer that I didn't enjoy. I can't wait to see these guys at the Harrisburg Brewer's Fest.

Great beer! Love this place! A true PA gem with lots of character. The Brew Master actually takes the time to talk to the customers and explain their beers. Micro brewing at it's finest! I predict their beers will be coast to coast some day soon. Keep up the great work!

This place was a blast. It's a little difficult to find and a in a weird sorta place, but that almost adds to the fun once you've found it. It's a very small little tasting and buying area, but cozy and fun. I decided to do a little sampling with my friends while I was there. I feel like that's the easiest way to get to know a micro brewery. 5 snifters of beer for $5 and we were drinking. The brewer on hand was super helpful. He went into detail about each beer. We started at the lightest and went darker (it helps having a per-determined order) and got a detailed description about taste and color before each beer. Any questions we had the brewery took care of easily and was incredibly knowledgeable about beer. My favorite of the 5 was Ludwig's Revenge. It has a smokey bacon like flavor and was just such a fun beer. Unfortunately they were out of Daddy Fat Sacks so I guesssssss I'll just have to go back. Great little place and excellent (and for a micro brew) cheap beer.

This place might just be the best thing in Chambersburg. Seriously. Not sure how many growlers I've filled over the past two years, but I can tell you that EVERYTHING these dudes offer up is AMAZING! Best Blonde is my time-tested favorite, but I'm partial to Daddy Fat Sacks too (and I'm not generally an IPA girl). Old Jail Ale is always a good way to go.... If you like beer and live anywhere near Chambersburg but haven't tried Roy Pitz, get down to North Third Street and grab a growler now!
