Great place to get pizza and wings. The sweet heat sauce is amazing, I wish they sold it separately. The menu prices are fair and they have a great selection of beer. It has a great atmosphere as well. Overall, a nice place to meet up and pass time.

Best wings in town. This is a friendly neighborhood pub, our version of Cheers. :) The food isn't super fancy, but they have great chili, and crab bisque soup. I've enjoyed most all of their meals, and their waffle fries are great. The dipped chicken sandwich is amazing. The outdoor deck a'la Margaritaville style is loads of fun when the weather is nice. Servers are very friendly and remember our favorite drinks. Food can take a long time on busy evenings, so beware. This never bothers us as this is the place we meet up with friends for drinks and chats as well as food, so we like the slower pace.

Great wings, a bit expensive for the location, but nonetheless they are good. Awesome beer selection!

Every time. Call to ask questions I get very friendly responses and more information than I ask. Wonderfully friendly staff!

Here's why Norland Pub (heretofore called "The Pub") is worth 4 stars: - great food that's not just bar food - great bar food - cheap drinks - decent sized bar - great bartending staff - close to Wilson That's really the draw for Wilson girls...we can walk to The Pub. This isn't a stellar bar by any means; it's close to a neighborhood dive with a good kitchen. But the drinks are cheap, the location is good, and the staff are stellar.

We went to Norland Pub for a Tap Takeover. We decided to eat too, since we didn't have other dinner plans. First off, the location is odd. Hard to get in/out on busy Norland Ave. and very little parking. Looks like it was just tossed there haphazardly. The entrance isn't marked, looks more like an employee entrance so if you've never been there before and it's dark outside, you feel a little lost. A sign or something would be very helpful. But then again, it's a "locals" place, so I guess they all know what they're doing. Inside isn't bad. A big, wrap-around bar with comfy looking chairs and TVs. Beer signs and decor all over. The booths are not my style as the seats are just wood and no cushions. Quite uncomfortable. We were greeted quickly and our server was ok. She wasn't rude or impatient, but not someone I'd describe as great. She did her job and was mediocre friendly level. The menu is so drab, just a laminated sheet of paper. Not really a big deal if the food was cheap, but it's not, it's expensive. I was shocked at the prices given the place. You can order a plain burger for about $6. Doesn't seem bad until you realize it only comes with a side of potato chips, and fries are an extra $2. In face, none of the burgers, sandwiches, or wraps come with fries unless you pay for them. I had an oriental chicken wrap ($7.59). Feels like an odd thing to order at a pub, but not much on the menu appealed for the prices they wanted. It was actually pretty tasty. My hubby had a bacon cheeseburger. The cheese was some kind of cheap sauce, which he didn't care for. The good thing about their burgers is they're served on a Martin's Potato Roll. That also means these burgers aren't that big. He did note that the bacon was pretty good, crispy and not too thick. Neither of us wanted to spend the extra for fries. The chips were, well, chips. I did note that beer prices are really good here. We both had the Tap Takeover Troegs beer. Nugget Nectar was $4.75 and their specialty scratch beer was $6. Other beer prices on the list were good. We'll go back...for beer. Not for food. Food prices are way too much for what they offer (or don't). I've heard their wings are phenomenal from some friends, but I cannot say from experience. They're expensive, too, but someday we may split some while we drink our beer. Suggestions for Norland Pub: * Don't come too hungry, or you'll leave either hungry or broke. * Don't drive a large vehicle, there's no room. * Look for Tap Takeovers (typically they seem to be on Thursdays) where you can gets samples and glasses when you buy the beer. Check their Facebook page for those.

Two stars because the wings are superb. The service has been poor each time I have been there--be it at the bar or in the restaurant. Standing in line at the bar hoping that someone will acknowledge your presence and allow you to purchase a drink is not my idea of service. The menu is filled with pre-made foods that seem to be either reheated or deep fried. Disappointing other than the wings.

Norland Pub took eight months to pay a service bill from my company. When we received the payment, it was for less than the full amount. When the owner was questioned about full payment, he was rude and hung up the phone. Needless to say we won't be back.

If you like beer, you have to try the Roy Pitz double IPA. The Blond's not bad either.

With all of the frozen and preserved foods, it's like a Space Cowboy owns this place. It was a Saturday night about 8pm and the place was fairly full with people having drinks and food. I had a couple of drinks before ordering food, service was so-so but the drinks were pretty weak. It's pretty clear that the reason why they can offer such good drink specials is that they don't put much "drink" into the drinks. The burger that I ordered was greasy and flavorless...not fresh at all. The chips that were served were pretty blah. I was still hungry after leaving all the chips so I ordered a grilled cheese, just Wonder Bread and processed cheese. Even Maurice would be disappointed with it...I mean at least get the second cheapest bread out there. Since I am a Gangster of Love they didn't charge me for one of my drinks...which is good...but shows that they are disorganized as hell. The Steve Miller Band blaring over the loudspeaker was the only good thing at this place. To sum it up: Service - So-so Drinks - Awful Burger - Awful Chips - Worse than the burger Grilled Cheese - Awful Music - Good I would not come here again in a million years to eat food and cannot believe how busy it was.

Another work function. The food was fair enough, the bar had what was needed. They have an outside area that has a Jimmy Buffet sort of flavor to it.

The atmosphere in this place isn't anything to write home about, it is your typical small town bar. As one other person already said, the only reason why I keep coming back to this place is for the wings. Their wings are absolutely HUGE, the first time I saw them coming out I thought they were giving me a plate of drumsticks instead. They must use only the most steroid-injected, genetically-modified, hormone-pumped chickens they can get their hands on. I don't care though, I love them and won't stop eating them. The breading is just right and they have many different sauces that are all awesome, Mango Habanero and General Tso's are my favorites. If you like wings, this is definitely the place to go in Chambersburg, if you aren't in the mood for wings however, well, there are a lot better choices just a few minutes way.

I really don't know why my fiance and I keep going back! Actually, I do know- It's for the wings. The wings are good, I have to admit. But that's not enough to make up for all the shortcomings. The inside bar reeks of smoke (not sure how that's possible since PA bars and restaurants are supposed to be non-smoking). So we go to the Norland and eat outside. And every time we're overrun with flies and bees. Outside of the wings, the food is nothing special. I ordered fish and chips last time we were there, and it was the worst fish and chips I've ever had (about 75% nasty batter). The beer selection is lacking. They advertise Roy Pitz on the menu, but the last couple of times we went, they were out!
