My family & I love this restaurant! Always great food, drinks, & service. I've only had the chicken Alfredo once & it was delicious! Will definitely order it again..

The Wife and I went there for dinner (date night) and I chose The Copper Kettle from the reviews on multiple sites. When we got there the host was professional and sat us in one of the 4 front dining rooms. It had pictures of tall ships and nautical items. The room was clean as a hospital but warm and inviting. Our server came and took or drink and appitizer order. (Sorry I forgot your name!) Through out the meal she was attentive but not annoying/pushy. The wife got Lobster Bisque and I got the snapper soup (turtle) and a crab cake. Just to see what the wife would be getting for her main. The wife about launched out of her seat at the flavor of her bisque and had me try it. It was SOO flavorful! I ate my Snapper in 40 seconds flat! It was one of the best Turtle soups I have had. I got the house cut Prime Rib medum. It was out of this world! Juicy and tender great flavor and the sauteed mushrooms were great as well. The wife got the sirloin and crab cake, medium as well. The sirloin was flavorful and the crab cake. . ohhh the crab cake! The crab cake is at a 2:1/8 ratio crab:breading. nice chunks of crab and great plain or with butter and/or lemon! For desert I got a piece of chocolate fudge cake and an Irish Coffee. The wife got a slice of inhouse lemon marange pie. My cake was moise and sooo full of chocolate goodness. The wife's lemon was delicious as well. the leamon cream addition to the pie set it over the top as did the house made whipped cream!! I will personally vouch with all the places I have eaten in the world that this place is HIGH on my list of great food and people!

I'm amazed at the bad reviews of this place. You can't go wrong with Frank Sinatra and great food! Southwestern Steak Soup was very hearty and great tasting. Buffalo Calamari is a great idea. Bleu cheese dressing was huge and awesome. Our burgers were very good and cooked just right. I got sweet potato fries which were not at all greasy and very flavorful. if you're in Chambersburg, stop here. It's fantastic.

Went to the Copper Kettle with a group of 12. We sat in a separate room. We order 5 different appetizers to share. They were so good-each one of them. So much so that it's impossible to say which one was best. Then the entrée was next. I can't speak for the others but I had a crab cake, filet mignon, roasted asparagus, and a house salad. It was superb. The crab cake was delicious, the filet (medium rare) cooked just right, and the asparagus cooked to perfection. Our waitress was professional and helpful. Though with a large group, the service was on time and there were no long waits for anything. I highly recommend that you try Copper Kettle when you are in Chambersburg.

First visit. Took the servers suggestion on the stuffed pork, and my dinner date went with the Flat Iron Steak. She was totally satisfied. Steak cooked perfectly. And she thought the veggies were done just right; even though she wouldn't eat the mushrooms which I was happy to savor. I was disappointed with the stuffed pork. While the overall taste said Thanksgiving, I found the potato bread stuffing a little sweet for my palette. I was surprised that the mashed potatoes had a hint of sour milk taste. Sadly I didnt listen closely to the server and missed that the mixed vegitables were in a cheese sauce. But the veggie texture was perfect. Both house salads were delightful. And as I always suggest, one should ask for the dressing on the side. Service was outstanding from hostess to table! And the local PA IPA was a treat. All in all a nice meal and evening. I would visit again.

The service is great, always a friendly reception. Food very good. Got the CK Wings appetizer, great taste, average sized wings. Prime Rib special was very good. Snapper soup incredible. My favorite dinner in Chambersburg.

I think this place was ok. Not the best by any means. Crab with mushrooms was not so good. Filet mignon was excellent!

Just finished eating dinner and it was outstanding. We started with the Brie cheese app and it was delicious would defiantly order again. My girlfriend had the chicken Chesapeake and she said it was delicious. I had the maple chipotle New York strip and that was out standing also. Couldn't fit in desert but I am sure it would have been great also. Defiantly going to eat here whenever we are in town.

Went here for a business dinner and the food and service were great. The server Layla was fun and put up with our groups antics quite well. We had a private room which meant we could get a little rowdy, although we were all finished drinking by the time we arrived. I had a good Greek salad. I also had the NY strip steak medium rare which was perfectly cooked and pretty big. I could not finish all of it. My side was potato au gratin which was rich and creamy with lots of cream. This was not "healthy" meal. It was a good steak house for the area. I would highly recommend it when in the area.

I had the complete and utter misfortune of dining at this horrible establishment this Saturday evening. I was with a few friends and we received horrifyingly rude service. The food we ordered was similarly vile - the buffalo calamari tasted like a mouthful of flour and the stuffed haddock I ordered was still a bit frozen (it appeared to have come from some sort of package). My friends were also displeased with their chicken alfredos - very sour. The worst part was that the bill was over $30 per head AND the restaurant still tacked on a mandatory 20% gratuity. Talk about ridiculous! GO ELSEWHERE - if you dine here I promise that you will regret it!

Thankfully we didn't let these past reviews deter us from Copper Kettle. The decor is still a little dated, but I think it had a nice, homey feel to it. We ate in a nice, comfy booth in the bar area and our waitress was great. Only miscommunication problem was my boyfriend asked for the Prime Rib and ended up with the Ribeye, which we had also discussed. Luckily, he loves all steaks and very much enjoyed this. Just means we will be heading back to try the prime rib. I had the special steak and pasta dish, which was delish. All meals come with 2 sides, so you definitely get enough. I would recommend you visit!

Very disappointed with my meal. It has been several years since I visited this restaurant and I remember a much better place. My Ahi Tuna appetizer was less than appetizing; poorly done. The chicken was dry, chewy and bland. Can't say I was impressed at all. My husband had an Alfredo dish which was again bland and tasteless. The couple we went with also complained about their meals as well; one was the prime rib which is what their specialty is supposed to be (I don't think so). Definitely not worth the price which is in the $$-$$$ price range. The only good thing about this restaurant was the wait staff. We had a waiter who was excellent. He was accommodating, maintained good timing in presenting each course and had a sense of humor. I would recommend choosing another restaurant, I know I won't be going back.
