Always worth a stop when in Buckingham. A fairly good selection of fresh catch, I especially like the no so common selections. Today, escargot and octopus with some butterfish. Reasonably priced and friendly staff.

I've been coming here for over 20 years! In 20 years, nothing has changed about the freshness and selection of Seafood. In the past, I have ordered the Main Lobster. They will steam if for you at no extra cost. It's fantastic! The scallops are particularly good, too. Once you have had these, you won't want to buy them anywhere else. They are sweet, fresh and come out amazing on the grill! The folks there are all knowledgeable and will explain and make suggestions based upon what you are looking for. In addition, they make fresh Shrimp Salad, Tuna Salad and Soups. Do yourself a favor, if you're looking for Seafood, stop here, even if it is out of the way. It's well worth it!!!

Happened upon this little shop en route to another destination. Because fishmongers are hard to come by in Bucks County, I felt obliged to stop and check it out. The first thing you notice is the utter absence of a fishy aroma. Exactly the way it should be. The counter help was very helpful. I was looking for stone crab claws, and the counter help suggested Jonah crab claws instead because they were available and less expensive. The Jonah claws were terrific, firm fleshed claws very similar in texture to stone crab claws. Also picked up a pint of their home-made oyster stew, which compares favorably to that of Sansom Street Oyster House. My only quibble is that it needed a few more oysters.

Fish is always fresh... We have never been steered wrong! I've been stuck with poor supermarket fish and I refuse to be foiled again! I only go here now! All the fish is fresh and they guarantee it. They even have some awesome escargot...

I wasn't aware we met Richard F. I was in there 11/9/13 purchasing lobster and was treated horribly by the salesperson. I don't know if you were there or not, I think you have me confused with someone else, would you like me to copy and paste my receipt, as even now I'm still being treated badly by the store and they are confusing me with another person. I don't know if it was the owner or not but again, CUSTOMER SERVICE, no matter what is key to healthy continuing business and yes, I received an apology but that doesn't make up for all the people telling me they saw what happened and I was the one that started a confrontation....there was no confrontation only rudeness by the sales girl....PERIOD

I recently went to Buckingham Valley Seafood to buy scallops for my Husband. I have purchased them there before. This time I requested 8 scallops and the young girl picked them and put them in a container I saw that they weren't as big and the young girl said yes they are smaller this time of year. I then said I think I'll take another one--"May I have the large one in the front?" I was told No we do not let you pick your own scallops--it would not be fair to the other customers.. I then said but u picked the eight and I would just like one big one that one. Again I was told No and told again it would not be fair to let me take all the big ones. I again said I did not take all the big ones-u picked out eight of them. I then asked for the manager and she said sure he is my DAD. Dad came over and she told him I wanted the big scallop in the front and I was told NO and that it would not be fair to other customers to let me take all the big ones--AGAIN I said I did not take all the big ones I just asked for one and your daughter picked the other eight! More lecture ensued as he asked me how would I feel if I came in and there were only small ones left. I repeated again and he finally said give her the scallop. Went to cash register and I said I have never heard of this practice -not letting customer have a choice in there purchase--she started to rationalize again that it would not be fair to other customers. I then said please I have heard this rationalization no need to keep repeating it and I then said I will think twice before I attempt to purchase here again. She then glared at me and yelled THEN DON'T COME BACK!!!!!--I then heard her a woman yell BRITNEY--get in the back! The woman proceeded to finish my paper transaction and would not look at me nor talk to me. At that point I was very upset and tearful and said customers should not be treated this way and I have shopped here before. She then started yelling that I was looking for a confrontation and that I was just as rude! I said how was I rude--she said you r being rude right now. At that point I took my bag and said I will be putting a review on-line and as I walked out I heard this woman yelling very loudly. I got in my car and I was shaking. I am a senior citizen and I was very offended to say the least . This caused great upsetness and today I am still upset . I hope that this does not happen to anyone else going there. I will not go there again ever. It is a small store--one room and it was very embarrassing to be spoken to in such a loud tone in front of another customer on the other side of the store.
