This is our favorite place in Delco for pizza and steaks! Solid, consistent quality with great toppings. I like that the sausage topping comes in thin strips, instead of crumbled. A few things to note: the steaks are awesome (they use mozzarella cheese as a standard); it does run on the pricey side; if you order cheese fries, they put the whiz on the fries for you; and it is extremely busy on Friday nights.

Best Pizza in the Broomall-Newtown Square area! The only reason I'm holding back that 5th star is because they don't deliver, what's up with that!!! There's nothing worse that having to order second rate pizza because you can't leave the house! Oh well, what are you gonna do? They've got all types of specialty slices, I've had many of them and have never been disappointed. The true test of a pizzeria is its plain pie and their Sicilian and I can report that they are both great! Delicious sauce, crispy delicious crust, it's perfect, nothing like that crap they sell at various spots along the W Chester Pike. Seriously though, great pizza just wished they delivered.

My family and i go here every wednesday. We order pasta, sandwiches, and appetizers. Really good food. Comes out hot. Staff is friendly. The only thing i would change is that they only have a few booths and one bathroom. So it can be a little frustrating when there are a lot of people there (mostly during dinner time). Would definitely recommend and can't wait to go again.

Their pizza is the best in the area! Everything else on the menu is pretty decent, but it is their pizza that brings me in for lunch or a quick dinner after work!!

I really like the pizza here. You can buy by the slice or a whole pie. The counter service is fast and friendly. The crust is thin and chewy so if that's not your thing go elsewhere. It is crowded around lunch time and although it has tables, they are those uncomfortable bus station/bowling alley booths with a curve that fits no one's body and leaves you with a backache. But I digress.... The sauce is not too sweet and there is plenty of cheese. It is also a bit salty, but hey, it IS pizza.

The pizza is great here. Although the inside is small, there are seats to eat in, although it seems most people get it to take home. Great pizza for a good price. Will come back in the future

My family has been getting our Friday night pizza here for over 20 years. It's a great place!

Been stopping at Italian Delite every Friday on the way home from work for a Sicilian for about 15 years now It's awesome! Thick, chewy goodness...mmmmm. I keep coming back and I fashion myself as a bit of a pizza snob (like, I won't eat that flavored paper thin garbage they pass off as pizza at Mack & Manco's in Ocean City), so by my own twisted and selfish logic, this place must be good. Be prepared to wait a bit on Friday nights but it's worth it.

Like most of Italian Delight customers, I am a loyal 22 year fan of their fare. I hope they read this, because I have 1 issue which I feel MUST be addressed. When I order a pizza from an ITALIAN owned pizza shop, I do not EVER expect that when I ask for mushrooms on my pizza, that they are from a can! That is shameful. Please change this Italian Delight, and change it fast. I honestly have been going to Anthony's of Wayne just because I am so disgusted. Italian Delight, I love what you do, but quit acting cheap. Cut some damn mushrooms.

My girlfriend may get pissed for me saying this but this place is aite. Nothing really to write home about. I know Broomall ain't NYC, but I've had way better. The pizza is still good don't get me wrong, it's just that I don't think it really deserves all that much fanfare. Although I will say that if I was in the area and was craving pizza, I would definitely order from here. The prices are attractive but I guess, they are expected for a Broomall establishment. I will give this place the benefit of a doubt as I only had two slices, one regular cheese and a mushroom slice. The mushroom tasted fresh but I like it really baked in there. Like, I mean, in there. In there, you know what I mean? Anyway, I'm going to have to go back and try their Sicilian special as reviewed by Walt L. It sounds deliciously tremendous. Update to come.

If you like Sienfeld's "the soup nazi", you'll love this place. Miserable people working in the back, wrong orders are a regular. Lucky for them the food is half decent but only because no one else in the area knows how to make good food. Cascata is just as good and the people are nice, only a few minutes away in Springfield. We stopped going here and drive the extra few miles.

Great pizza. Offers a nice variety of speciality pizza (including a delicious buffalo chicken). OK to eat in but I prefer take out. Service is fast and friendly. Out of all the pizza shops in Broomall, this is probably the best.

I've been coming to Italian Delite ever since my family moved to Broomall. That was 16 years ago. When I was little, I used to bike 45 minutes from my house just to get a slice or two of their pizza. And though I now live in NYC, pizza capital of the world, I still find myself craving Italian Delite's pizza at times (and I ALWAYS stop by when i'm home in broomall.) There's something about their sauce..just the right balance of sweetness and tartness. And the crispyness of the crust...it's really good reheated the next day. You must try this place.

Best pizza place in Broomall! Large slices, wide variety of toppings, and fair-priced. Their non-pizza menu options are also excellent. I'd recommend the tomato & broccoli slice or their buffalo chicken. SO GOOD!

Okay, listen. I worked here from 2005-2012. My first job ever and they treated me great! In (I believe) 2010 they became BYOB! If you live in Broomall, Springfield, Newtown Square, etc. and don't get your pizza here you're nuts! I have seen the pizza and the kitchen first hand. So clean, always fresh. Best tasting pizza! Joe, Gus, and Frank know exactly what they're doing.

Great Pizza place in Broomall. This is always one of my "go to" spots when I need to get take out for dinner. Hands down, my favorite is the Sicilian pizza! Thick tasty dough, good sauce, and I get it with extra cheese, it's awesome. Though not on their menu, they do make a good Cheesesteak pizza. I saw it there one day as a slice pie, and they gladly make me one when I order it. The only thing keeping this place from getting a full 5 star review is that I find their "non-pizza" items a little lack luster. They will suffice if you need some sides or a sandwich, but nothing too special. Also, I have to ask....who puts mozzarella on a cheesesteak? I ordered one once assuming it came with American cheese, and was a little confused that it came with mozzarella. Also, I am not a fan of the "number system" they use when ordering. I am sure it helps them stay organized on a busy night, but I don't like feeling like I am at Wawa with a number. It's nice when a place gets to know your name, and know you are a regular customer not just a number. Bottom line, I can definitely look past the few minor flaws here because their pizza is THAT GOOD!!

A delicious thin crust pie! It has the perfect ratio of cheese to sauce. This is definitely one of my favorite pizza places in the Delco area. It is just a little too far from my house to get a a hot pie home. I would rather enjoy this one in the establishment because I know it's going to hit the spot. It's also a little pricier compared to local pizza shops, but for the taste I would gladly trade. It's been a while since we ordered from here and boy were my taste buds missing this pizza. I will have to make sure I keep them in the rotation and order them on my way home from work.

I've gotten pizza all over the suburbs and none better than here. It's a small unassuming place in broomall. I don't know why but their pizza is miles above anything else around. I will drive for this pizza. It gets addicting. Try their specialty stuff. They do a few different variations with grilled chicken and Italian ingredients like broccoli rabe and roasted peppers that are amazing.

The wife talked me into trying this place. I see it has quite a Broomall following. I figured out why. Their regular pizza is decent. Good foldable slices, which even though I tend to like pan style pizza, I just need something I can fold every now and then. I was more impressed by my wife's white veggie slice which was excellent. Plus they make a huge Cajun chicken Caesar salad with quite the Cajun kick and very tasty dressing. The large salad is big enough for a meal in itself. Most importantly, my wife hadn't been here for 7 years after she moved farther away. She says it's just as good as she remembers it from then. Consistency is key. I believe the hype. I do, I do!

We ordered the tomato pie here. It was warm which I wasn't used to and no chunky pieces of tomato but still really good. Reminded me of pizza that I used to eat as a kid...

Pizza is awesome! Only prob is the young people they hire. No personalities and if they are cooking your food forget it your order will be wrong.

How are there only 5 reviews here?! Oh, it's in Broomall. Greatest cheesesteaks ever! And check out a cheesesteak Stromboli. Awesome!!!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
