Tonight has been a horrible night with the check-in process. First of all, I arrive at 3:15am due to a delayed flight to arrive into Newark. When I arrive at the hotel, the attendant hands me the room keys and tells me that I'm in room 142 (which is a long walk from the front desk). 1st Attempt - the keys don't work. I come back to the front desk and my keys were "reset". 2nd Attempt - the keys don't work. I come back to the front desk and the attendant says "Oh, those keys were issued for room 148." So, the attendant "resets" the keys for Room 142. 3rd Attempt - the keys work!! BUT, the room was dirty and there was a dirty plate of food on the desk. Of course, I go back to the front desk. So, the attendant walks with me to Room 148...4th Attempt, THE ROOM IS DIRTY!! Now, it's 3:45am and the Attendant has found a room that is vacant and only "slightly dirty". I'm not sure what the breakdown in communication was, but this is definitely the last time I stay at this hotel. In addition, the Manager will not only get an earful, but this room will be complementary.

Absolutely amazing. Clean and comfortable! The pillows are super soft which some may like but we could have used them a bit more firm. We would definitely go back!

Nice hotel and it was convenient to Allentown and Reading, two places I was visiting at the time. The only complaints I have is that the hotel was booked due to some sort of reunion and although my reservation was guaranteed, they put me in a handicapped room. I'm a tall person and a lot of the handicapped features are difficult for me...the shower especially. Also, I couldn't figure out the sleep number bed. It didn't seem to work. My suggestion is put a memory foam bed or topper in there and you'll never have a complaint again from me. Breakfast was also good and for the most part the staff was friendly. On my first morning there, I thought one of the restaurant staff was a little rude but the next day they were fine.

I stay at a lot of HGIs and this one was probably the lowest of the those I've stayed in thus far. Of course I was pretty annoyed that they had given away the King room I reserved - and paid for, but this wasn't even factored in to my review. First - the place is just kinda old. They don't have their own register in the bar/breakfast area, which is really stupid. The front desk staff was ok, but not the exceptional service I generally receive at other HGIs. My room was clean, but damn those two double beds were a nightmare! It's an ok place if you must be in this very sleepy area, but if I ever have to go back I'll opt for the HGI near Bethlehem instead. This just wasn't what I wanted/expected from a HGI.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. The shuttle is free to most of the places. They also gave me a gift bag and breakfast coupon when the shuttle was late by 15 mins for my pick up.

Very nice facility with friendly staff. The breakfast "chefs" prepared an AWESOME spicy everything omelet for me. I stay in hotels probably 75 nights a year and this is the FIRST TIME I have ever seen twin sisters working the front desk (they were very friendly and helpful.) Very nice stay.

The hotel was great but the $10.95 per person breakfast is a little high and it's nothing out of this world.

About 15 minutes away from Dorney Park / Wild Water Kingdom. Rooms are pretty clean (trust me, my toddlers find the tiniest speck of dirt to pick up and show to me) and fairly large. Reception desk greets you with freshly baked cookies (Hurry and get one before they're gone, b/c they go pretty quickly - at least when i'm there!). I know they have an indoor pool but we after hitting the water park we were too tired to check it out - def next time! Buffet brkfast in their large lobby for about $10. If hotel food is not your "stilo" there's plenty of fast food options to choose from all within walking distance. Literally right in front of the hotel there is a Burger King, Taco Bell, and if you cross the street there's your Dunkin Donuts. Word to the wise... stay away from local eats, its not worth the tummy trouble.
