Standard Starbuck's in the "truck stop" area at Breezewood. Staffed well, up to cleanliness standards... drive through. Fast in and fast out. Nothing negative at all. f8 and be there.

Sigh. Overcharged for a drink they can't even make right. Somehow "soy cinnamon dolce frappuccino" is too complicated. Wow.

I'm here almost weekly because I drive between DC and Pittsburgh. It's a regular Starbucks, with tasty fresh coffee and snacks. Staff are very nice, and some recognize me and try to remember my name. Next door, without moving your car, you will find real food at a wonderful sandwich place called Subplicity. On weekends, this Starbucks is sometimes very crowded, with insufficient capacity--space and staff. Recent renovations are attractive but there still are displays blocking the flow (and a mistaken budget savings was not replacing the grubby tile floor). The main problem here, and why I sometimes give up, is the lack of enough bathrooms, given that this is a major highway junction and rest stop. There is just one toilet for men and one for women. The lines on weekends can be out the door. The bathrooms also need more frequent cleaning and major upgrades, and they would be healthier if there were no-hands entry/exit, no-hands wash, and automatic flush. Ok, that's my pro bono advice!

Pretty badly designed for customer flow. The ordering line starts close to where the restrooms are. Only 2 restrooms, 1 stall each, are supplied for such a busy rest stop! Lines tend to converge. Customers did not know where to line up to order. On the flip side, the service was friendly and we received our drinks pretty quickly after ordering. For a rest stop, it was pretty clean too.

Quick service and helpful employees. Some nice outdoor seating. Clean restrooms and decent seating inside.

Extremely friendly service despite the fast turnaround of tourists stopping busy at this busy intersection.

Located in a truck stop area. Decent & clean. I usually never have issues except this time, the service workers are acting like it's an inconvenience for them to service you. Today, there is a massively obese woman and a gay male with an earring working be the counter (sorry, no other way to describe). Both are gossiping rolling their eyes, & sighing at customers. People are mostly here to use the restroom and grab a coffee. I'm here to grab tea & charge my phone a bit. It's honestly bare in here. Maybe one customer every 10 minutes and only me sitting down. I guess that annoys them as the one motions to the other to walk by me & look at something on me as they both laugh. A bit odd since both are circus worthy, however... My point is that they clearly are unprofessional. The woman is kid of the trouble maker. Every order is painful for her to ring up... If you could just see her face & behavior. Not one smile, not one "have a nice day", not one "thank you"... Just mumble, eye rolling & sighs. The guy is fine, until she provokes him to join her in her unprofessionalism.

This location is in the Breezewood in the commercial area just off the Turnpike. It is a real Starbucks as opposed to the ones in Turnpike Plazas. It's a typical Starbucks. The staff was friendly and efficient.

Slowest one I have ever been to. And then to top it off.. we were given wrong drink.. at least I paid attention and was able to get correct drink before hitting the interstate

As a barista, I'm super picky about stores, staff, and service. This Starbucks has it all right-- they actually cared about my friend and me (who's also a barista). Stephanie and Jessica were fantastic and provided service I wish I got everywhere. They knew coffee and were joyful despite a long day. Starbucks STILL dies things right. I would recommend this stop for fast service.

I stopped by this Starbucks last night, a little before 8pm. Although the roads outside were busy, it was quiet and clean inside. I was the only customer and the service was fine. I was surprised that they tried to charge me for adding soy to my iced coffee. Across America I have been asked to pay the sixty cents for EXTRA soy, but never have I been charged for getting any at all.

While the service at this busy starbuck's location was good, for a truck stop, it's bathrooms were laid out in a horribly inefficient manner, and in two visits I had to wait over an hour to use them.

This copy of Starbucks is fast friendly and efficient. I pass through this town regularly with coffee-drinkers in the car and I've always found the staff cheery and helpful. The restaurant is clean and warm, the location is fine and the warm beverages of whatever sort always welcome in this perennially cold town. The herbal tea or hot chocolate is a go-to favorite of mine here along with a scone to remind me of home on the west coast. I agree with one of the other reviewers - far flung Starbucks do seem always well taken care of - I wonder why... In any case, a stop here and at the gas station takes me the extra few miles to the haunts up Lincoln highway.

Your typical Starbucks, and being that this is a truck-stop town it's only fitting that it have a drive thru...for cars anyway. I'm not big on Starbucks coffee, so when my wife asked for a mocha Frappuccino WITH half a shot of decaf espresso, I shake my head and think why do women have to be all complicated. So I place the order and tell the barista to make that with half a shot of decaf espresso. He informs me that it already comes with 1 shot of espresso. I tell him the wife wants a mocha Frap comes WITH 1/2 a shot of espresso, which to me means 1.5 shots. I hand the mocha Frap to my wife and she complains it's too strong. I tell her it's made with 1.5 shots and then she tells me she only wanted 0.5 shots of espresso. Yelpers, help me out, was I wrong or was she wrong? I contend she should have said "....WITH ONLY a half shot" and I probably would have understood her better.

Out in the mountains of Pennsylvania, and out on the Penna Turnpike, one gets tired of coffee after a while and the cravings for something stronger kicks in. Thank God there is now a Starbucks at Breezewood. It's been many years since I've been to Breezewood, but last time I was there - there was no Starbucks. After ordering a Soy Grande Latte, I asked them how long this Starbucks had been there - they told me just over three years. They also have a Drive-Thru, wireless internet access, and lots of seating.

I pass though Breezewood at least once a month and was extremely delighted when this Starbucks opened up. Like many Starbucks that operate in small towns, this store is clean and staffed by energetic and friendly Baristas. They are attached to a Quizno's, so if you are looking for a lunch/coffee spot in this trucker's oasis, it's a one-stop shop. They have a drive-thru around back and the service is really fast. If you are trying to get back to I-70, exit out the back and wait at the light. If you are headed to the turnpike, just make a right out of the front.

Yes, the reason we mid-east road trippers with kids like this Starbuck is mainly the strangely clean bathrooms... But it is great to talk to the wide range of folks there while taking a break from roadness. The staff is surprisingly nice given the dual responsibilities of good coffee and clean potties.

I drove through Breezewood twice on my way to DC and back. This was our stop for both times. It was very clean and the bathroom was very large. The staff didn't mind that people were waiting to use the bathroom and not buying coffee. I did purchase coffee and the staff was very nice. They made small talk since they could tell I wasn't from PA. When I go back to DC I will definitely stop here for a break.
