This place wins the prize for the best burger night deal. $3.75 for a half pound burger and big mess of crisp fries . Toppings are extra, but enjoying it on the deck is free, so make sure you go when the weather is nice, get a beer and truly relax in this sweet country setting. If you can't make it on Thursday, there are some awesome specials on the other nights.

Love this place. Friendly bar. Friendly staff. Friendly patrons. And great pub food for a great price. Don't go here looking for a gormet dinner. It is what it is, and they do it perfectly......and this is from someone who DOES enjoy a gormet dinner once in a while. But for a great sandwich and good beer - THIS is the place. And when in season, the outside deck is the best in the area!

Very rude bartenders. There was one large lady bartender who was very rude and made very poor drinks. She was not making eye contact with her customers and continually ignored glasses that were empty. You could tell she had favorites sitting at the bar whom she attended to the whole time and others who were ignored throughout her conversations. Two of my friends got sick from the clams. The large lady bartender on the porch was very manly and had hardly any teeth. Very poor outfit and poor hygiene. I did not want to order food from this person. The bar was filled with Pottstown thugs or motorcycle men the entire night. Save your money.

Not sure what I was thinking when I chose to go here with my husband to check the place out. Hadn't been there for over 25 years and and who knows how many owners ago. I wanted to check out the deck and try a sandwich. I walked through the indoor dining room to get to the deck. We sat at two spots at the bar. There were two TV's on with garbage and I don't recall any music (maybe a radio station). Many were smoking cigs and cigars. The employees were nice enough, but the place seemed rather old (and not in a historic way--more shabby) and dirty. There are signs that says this is a smoking establishment prominently displayed. I wanted to order the Pork Sandwiches that I had read about on yelp, but was nervous after I saw the place. My husband was hungry so he ordered onion rings. Besides taking forever to come out (we had to ask the waitress/bartender for them), they were very greasy and over-breaded. On the positive side, she gave them to us for free for our inconvenience. The bartender was not very attentive to our drink orders. She seemed pre-occupied by some of the other men at the bar. For a time, I was the only female on the deck (not that I felt uncomfortable, just an observation). If you are a biker, a guy, or just want a casual spot to smoke and drink, this is for you. Lots of Harley's doing burnouts leaving the parking lot, cheap beer and so-so food. My husband said he wanted to go back to try a pork sandwich, drink beer, and people watch on his motorcycle next time. I doubt I will be joining him.

I absolutely love this place! The bartenders and wait staff are always very friendly and attentive. When it's nice out, the outdoor deck is a great place to hang and enjoy the weather. They have great daily specials, like 25 cent wing night (check out all their wing sauces!!) and $3.75 burger night, in addition to their already cheap prices. People always rave about the roast beef sandwich and I agree, it's incredible. It's got the perfect meat to bread to au jus ratio and the meat is tender and juicy. Having said that, please try the carved ham sandwich. I think I like it better than the roast beef, and that's saying something. It's salty chunks of ham that have a slight sweetness from the glaze piled on a long sub roll with melted cheese. It's so incredible. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and swing by LOT for some cheap drinks and great food.

A group of us went here for some food and beers. One of the best roast beef sandwiches you can find anywhere. They had great drink specials, which we took advantage of. It was too cold, but they had a huge deck area which we'll come back for when it warms up. We also shared the buffalo wings as well. Nice and spicy, but didn't blow your taste buds off. The staff was constantly coming over and checking on us as well. No one had a burger, but they looked good too. Good food, and good drinks. We'll be back here for sure.

If you're looking for a little hole in the wall with good food and even better prices, Little Oley is the place. Seating was a little haphazard, since there isn't a hostess. Only seemed to be two waitresses running around, but they were fantastic and on point with every table. Roast beef sandwich is life changing. Only $5.50 ($6 with cheese) with chips, and worth every penny. Daily specials are ridiculously cheap (shrimp, clams, hamburgers, sandwiches), and I would assume the drink specials are just as plentiful and penny pinching.

Little Oley Tavern has a very welcoming feel to it, which makes sense, considering it was at one time an inn/hotel. The staff is friendly, the drinks are VERY reasonably priced, and the food is solid. Order the roast beef sandwich. Seriously. Don't ask questions. Just order it. You can thank me later. When I visited, the deck was open and was lively, but not so packed that you couldn't move. Even with the large crowd, the staff provided fast and friendly service. The indoor bar was less crowded (but things likely pick up in the cooler months), but was still open. I'm looking forward to my next visit. If you're in the area and looking for a good pub, this should be your go-to spot.

My go to place! Great good, good prices and the staff is always great! The deck is awesome in the summer, and I always have a great time here. The beers are mainly domestic but occasionally they have good ipas. I would definitely recommend little oley to anyone in the area!

Four words: hot roast beef sandwiches. They are amazing at this place. I actually will make the almost hour trek to this place for one. The bartender's are great and friendly, and the drinks are cheap. If you're there in season, check out the deck.

Been going to the Little Oley with my wife for 10 plus years now. Usually about 3-4 times a month usually on a weekend day,but sometimes on a weekend night. We always seem to have a good time there and while not Bikers,er motorcycle enthusiasts ourselves, the laid bake atmosphere at the Little Oley is relaxing. Prices have been really cheap for years.Until recently pints were 2 bux and mugs a buck! Now even at $2.50 and $1.50 respectively they are still reasonable. The Hot Beef and Hot Ham sandwich, both hand carved are delicious and PACKED with meat! Now and then the fried food can be a little iffy depending on the grease in the fryer, but you usually can't go wrong with the wings and they also do Turkey on Fridays I believe and Pork Sammys as well. A nice deck out back to get away from the smoke and chill on a Sunday afternoon. All in all an interesting place that won't leave you broke.

Those who know me well know I love the little hole in the wall joints. The Oley tavern fits this bill perfectly. Big wrap around bar surrounded by tables and a big game hunter game in the back for that modern touch. All this place really needs. We went there a few weeks ago for a couple drinks and a bite to eat. I've been told they have one of the best roast beef sandwiches in the area. Those stories were absolutely true. The beef, in all it's meaty beefy goodness, is roasted, sliced by hand, masterfully placed on the perfect roll with a slice of provolone cheese and a touch of horseradish. It was sooo good. In fact, I made my brother run out and buy me a couple the other day since I was craving it. I found out later that this place actually won the Best of Philly back in the 80's or maybe the early 90's for this gem of a sammich. Now I will say, nothing seems to have changed since winning that BoP way back when. It's clean, but old. Very, very old. But, I don't go there for the decor. I go for the cheap booze, cheap grub (the beef sammich is only $5), cool bartenders and great times.

We've been coming here for years and while the roast beef sandwiches are good, they are not great like they used to be. Also, the cleanliness of the place really needs to be improved. The bathrooms were disgusting and the bar wasn't that clean either. We love the outside deck. I think it's time the owners put some money into the inside and clean and spruce it up a bit.

Used to go to the Little Oley Tavern every Saturday, but the quality of the food service is not the same as it used to be - I believe this is because the owner, Tony, is no longer there on the weekends. Every now and then I'll stop in but I don't see any improvement. Just stopped there yesterday, ordered the beef sandwich and it was a measly few pieces of beef on a stale roll. Tony if you read this, if you care, please fix the situation, I would love to be a regular customer again.

My husband and I went there for date night. Good adult environment although I don't think I would bring my children there until they are older. Food was good except for the turkey and gravy. The turkey was not completely done.

Fab spot on the way home (Philadelphia) from a ski trip at Bear Creed. The boyfriend and I decided to swing by for dinner. The people working there couldn't have been more awesome (perhaps because they're friends of ours). I had a grilled cheese and jalapeno poppers. For bar food, it was damn good, and reasonably priced. The draught beer options weren't too shabby either. The ladies room was clean, they have a new deck and back room, so clearly they're taking care of the place. I wish the weather was better- we would have sat back there! It was a really worthwhile, comfy, yummy, boozy stop to warm us up after skiing on the way back home.

For it's location, this place is awesome. The waitstaff is great and the price is right. If this place was in a major city, this place would be a hot spot. Great job guys!!!
