Went there two weeks ago with a friend. First time visit. Place wasn't packed but overall a good experience. The owner actually took care of us and he was a very good host. Told us about his background, a true jack of all trades. The food was more than awesome! The French onion soup is definitely a must have and so are they're wings. For dessert we had warm apple pie and vanilla ice cream, delightful. If you're around and looking for good food and a beer, you should definitely stop by.

We've been here several times and it's really excellent every time. Everything (including wings, pizza, steak wraps, salad w/goat cheese,....even brunch) was really, really great. My absolute favorite, though, so far, is the chicken pot pie! Truly the best I ever had. The chef seasons everything so perfectly without it being too salty. I was reluctant to order the pot pie at first because anywhere else, it's always way too salty. So glad I ordered it - hands down the best and I can't wait to get back there and try it again!

Went here for a work luncheon and was pleasantly surprised by the food quality and service. Waitress was very attentive and my cottage pie was solid meat and potatoes and well seasoned. They have a basic beer selection and a bar with some local beer options like Yards IPA. The ambiance is more "corner sports bar" than "Irish pub." In fact, the decor was so spartan I could have sworn I saw Leonidas. The menu could use a few more traditional Irish dishes, such as an Irish fry up or corned beef and cabbage on their brunch menu. Or maybe pasties, battered sausages and chips, and other such pub fare to go on their bar menu. All in all it's more "bar with some Irish food" than "Irish pub."

I've eaten there twice already and I must say I'm impressed on the quality of the food. They have a pretty good choice of beer on tap as well with prices that don't break the bank.

stopped in here after being lured in by the words "fresh cut fries". my husband had what he called the best "turkey club" he ever had, fresh made roasted turkey (not lunchmeat) w/fresh cut fries. i had the fish 'n chips, very fresh cod, nice and crispy freshly batter dipped w/malt vinegar. and did i mention they came with the "fresh cut fries"! great bar, and ladies every other bar stool there was a purse hook under the bar! very nice renovations, cheery looking. we shall return ;)

Foods awesome, blonde bartender is really down to earth and friendly, spacious bar if not filled. So many deals throughout the week. definitely my favorite go to place.

Average bar with vaguely Irish-ish food. Decent toppings on the burger but the Shepherd's pie was runny and skimpy on the potatoes. Good service from the bartender who was trucking through her first day there. Nice enough space but nothing special.

This place is a hidden gem! I have had nothing but good experiences at the Publik House. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the food is great. They have great beer specials ($3 Goose Island IPAs/ Pitcher specials), and they serve menu items until 2am which is a huge bonus for late night visitors. As a recent Lehigh graduate, I foresee this place becoming a prime hangout for students. It's not an overly rowdy place, but it delivers quality brews and food at a fair price. If you're planning on a late night Dunkin trip, skip it! Grab some banging wings at the Publik House instead.

Ate here on a whim one weekday night...thought the place was pretty empty considering in was trivia night. We were the only ones at a table eating, so wasn't expecting too much of the food. Order the salmon filet platter and was very surprised. It was a filling portion and was very good.

Just recently heard of this joint and decided to try it today. The service and food were both very good. My wife and I started with the Sweet and Stingy Garlic wings which were VERY tasty. We followed that with burgers, which were perfectly prepared just as we ordered them, and so fresh tasting! Kudos to the chef on duty while we were there, Miguel. A decent beer selection, as well. Very happy that we found this place, and we'll definitely be returning!

Good food, good bartenders, always seems dead, but witnessed a very poor experience with the management. Will probably not be coming back.

Great wings , great people and and cold beer. What else do you want in an Irish pub. Reuben and scallops where amazing. Weekend brunch looks really good too.

We went for dinner. Food was very fresh and well prepared. We had the salmon with real mashed potatoes, and veggies, and the fish and chips (fresh cut French fries.) The server was very attentive.

Have visited Publik House twice in the last few weeks and we had great meals both times. They are expecting to get their liquor license soon but until then they are BYOB. We sat in the back room which is newly renovated. Our party of five shared the bacon wrapped scallops, the coconut shrimp and pretzels with cheese and beer sauce appetizers. They were all delicious. The French onion and potato leek soups were excellent as well. The entrees we had were salmon with teriyaki sauce and another had it blackened. Both came with fresh seasonal vegetables and choice of potatoes. The mashed potatoes were scratch made and on point. A NY strip steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and was tender and flavorful and was served with the seasonal vegetables and a baked potato. Last up was a Cajun chicken wrap with peppers and onions which was also delicious. Our server was excellent and couldn't do enough for us. We are definitely coming back.
