Good food. The service was terrible. Hung up on me mid conversation. Thought that was rude. Again, I did like the food. It reminded me of my days back in Shanghai.

Ordered a chicken lo mein take out pint size and it was only $4.85 with tax. For the portion-price ratio, it was very fair. Overall, food quality was just like any typical Chinese take out restaurant, nothing special.

Food is good, have eaten here every year for the last 4 years. I am in town about 3 weeks a year. It has stayed the same.

Two stars for being open on a Sunday and within a walking distance from the Comfort Inn. The whole decor is uninviting. The only difference between it being open and closed is this neon sign. The design of the interior is of super old Chinese style. Brown leather booths, super Asian buffet tables that is not being used anymore. Dim lighting. When we walked it, there was a lady talking on the phone. She lead us to a booth. We were the only customers there for the entire 30-45 minutes we were there. The lady is not Chinese! & they don't even have chopsticks! What kind of "Chinese" restaurant is this?! They give you a decent amount of food but the ambiance here is so depressing. A young Asian guy came in when we were leaving. The waitress here left us for a super long time. We wanted to leave. My dad shouted "hello" no answer! Then my dad knocks on the kitchen door. No answer! Then he walks in and shes like you're not allowed to be in here! Well if you pay attention to us we wouldn't need to! Pricy! 22 dollars for two entrees?! WTF!

Haven't tried the food yet. They only deliver downtown Bethlehem. I am 2.7 miles away and they hung up on me. Guy on the phone was very rude.

Never been to the restaurant itself, but I've ordered delivery from Hop Hing, and I've enjoyed their food. It is what it is, and I never expect much from Americanized Chinese takeout, but I rather enjoyed the Curry Chicken I ordered, and I liked the sampling of the Chicken with Cashews that I got from my fiance's meal. The portion-to-price ratio is good, at least in everything but the Chef's Specialties - I haven't ordered from that portion of the menu so I can't say if you get what you pay for. I really like that they include white/brown rice with the pint/quart sizes. Usually when you order a dish that isn't part of a combination platter, you order rice as an addition. Aside from the food, they also got my food to me a good half an hour than what the estimated arrival said. Can't really ask for much more in takeout. So TL;DR: A fairly decent Chinese restaurant with fast delivery service. Would recommend to others looking for such a place.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
