Good quality, reasonable prices, prompt as well. I do take-out every few months and it's very dependable. Buddhist Delight is great, and I had a memorable Hunan Chicken with hot & sour soup..

My favorite chinese food ever, I pretty much ordered it once a week a long while. I moved away from Berwyn two years ago, and after living in Vancouver and Seattle I still miss Wing Wah. I think I've ordered pretty much everything on the menu over the years and it's all good. Really nice people making great food.

Well, this is probably my all time favorite Chinese food. I love the chicken lo mein. I get a big thing of that and mix in some white rice! Bam!! I like the general tso chicken a lot too. Wing wahs is a special place for me. I've been coming here since middle school when we had half-days, we would all walk over and get lunch. Then in high school it was the goto spot when we had the munchies.

It's cheap and fast plus they have lunch specials on Saturday. My shrimp with broccoli was solid and the pork fried rice wasn't at all greasy. A good takeout option on the main line.

Wow! What a pleasant surprise. The mainline has been a huge disappointment when seeking Asian delivery. This is finally a winner. Nice job Wing Wah Kitchen. The Dumplings are exceptional! Try them! Will order again. Worth the time and effort.

I love the customer service there, everyone is really nice and always accommodating. They claim they use the best quality non-hormone treated chicken. I hope that is true. Food is fresh and tasty.

The food here was alright, but it wasn't worth the inflated prices for Chinese food when compared to local competitors on the Main Line. The sweet and sour sauce was noticeably watered down and had very little flavor. There was a distinct lack of pork in the pork fried rice, and the wonton soup wasn't the best I've had. It's also worth noting that the combination platters here are about $4 more expensive than the same offering at a local competitor like Chinese Delight. For that added price, you do get wonton soup but you also get hardly any rice and a distinct lack of actual chicken/shrimp/lo mein. Overall, mediocre food and a poor value. Won't be going here again.

The food is cheap, fast, and delicious. Also, the hot and sour soup was particularly tasty. I will be coming back here again!

Wing Wah is our Chinese take out "du jour." Are there better Chinese restaurants in the Philadelphia area? Sure, but around Wayne and Berwyn, I know of none better than Wing Wah. The food is always fresh, hot, and flavorful. It offers the standard Americanized version of Chinese cuisine, all prepared well. While I wish it offered more authentic fare as I can find in Chinatown area of Philly, it suffices for those those nights when no one wants to cook or go out for dinner. And the proprietoress is always welcoming and friendly.

Chop Suey is the best here! Slightly dark and dated inside, food is yummy! Most def Americanized Chinese food. Once I sat waiting for my order and I noticed TONS of take out...so busy = so good. When we do order take out they always make sure to separate the foods nicely and always give us extra sauces. I come back over and over again!

For $8 lunch specials, I can't complain that much, but this place seemed to be just an average restaurant that does mostly takeout.

We lived in Berwyn for 15 years and when WIng Wah opened it became our standard take out chinese. We moved to Wayne and at first we tried all the other options but slowly over the next few years we always came back to Wing Wah. When I worked in Center City, I walked over to Chia town once a week with a chinese colleague but never found a place that was consistently good as Wing Wah and the soups especially. Last week we actually took time to eat in and I was even more impressed by freshness of the food. A chicken with asparagus was outstanding with perfect white rice. I like Susanna Foo and Maraget Kwo but for the money I will take WIng Wah every time.

This is one of those great local places that's quick, delicious, pleasant and reliable. I have eaten lunch there five days in a row to bolster my Yelp review. The wonton soup is the best I've had at a neighborhood-style Chinese restaurant. I've also had the lo mein, chow mein, General Tso's, Kung Pao and Sesame Tofu. All excellent. The staff are extremely pleasant and efficient. They almost seem happy to see you. What's that all about?! The food is piping hot and delicious. You will never have an empty water glass. The tea is standard. Hot and delicious. And the fortunes in the fortune cookie, well, I've decided to read them instead of the newspaper. It's never crowded at lunch. I fault the odd location in a miniature strip mall at a red light. Once you see it you're already past it. And it looks like there's no parking. There's plenty of parking in the back, and it's easy to exit because they have their own red light. They also get a lot of carry out traffic so I am not alone in liking this place I highly recommend Wing Wah!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
