I ordered a cake for a party in October and visited 7 different bakeries around Delaware county to find the best. I tried pieces of cake and other items at each bakery. By far, Sweet Jazmines hit a home run, not only by me, but the 35 guests at the party. Everyone raved about the cake, 3 layer sheet cake was incredible. Most bakeries were pretty good, Viso's in Aston was a close second. I emailed Sweet Jazmines and they responded right away and answered all my questions. The owner and the girl at the counter are incredibly nice. You can't go wrong with this place.

Delicious and beautiful! The Carrot Cake ordered for a family birthday party was scrumptious and everyone thought the cake was especially pretty. The Carrot Cake was dense, moist and tender and the ingredients were so well-balanced. The Cream Cheese Frosting was perfection and complemented the cake perfectly. Sweet Jazmine's is a definitely a five star bakery.

The OMG buns are wonderful. Cinnamon bun too. Cake slices in different flavors are great when you don't want a whole cake.

Everything from here is amazing! If what you are after is a cake that tastes great, this should be your first and only stop. After years of eating their cheesecakes and regular layer cakes, we just tried the Sweet Potato Signature cake, and were blown away -- it was delicious, and truly unique! No one is making what Sweet Jazmine's is making -- I don't know how they aren't winning awards every week, for everything they make! Plus, the owner is very knowledgable about her business, and she will give you good advice when you are having something custom done (unlike other bakeries that will just 'yes' you to death and then do whatever they want!). Slightly hard to find -- it's on the same street as the firehouse in Berwyn, but once you turn off of Route 30 you *cannot* miss that cool green and purple building! Walk right in and prepare to have your taste buds astonished!

In its unassuming shop between the tire store and fire house, Sweet Jazmines bakes a variety of sweets, big and small, pie and cake, every-day-pickup and special occasion. The baked goods are absolutely top-notch... lots of real butter, fresh ingredients, and hand decoration. At a fateful birthday party 7 or 8 years ago, I picked up a piece of cake without paying much attention to it, and soon after was seeking out the host to find out where the heck she got it. (It was a pumpkin cake of some kind with orange-flavored buttercream, as I recall.) Since then, I've been a Jazmine addict. If you have any interest in things sweet potato related, you will never find better cheesecake/muffin/cake/pie etc. in that vein. The owner, Kim, who my children refer to as "Sweet Jazmine," is super talented and committed, and it shows in her work. It's very much a small, owner-operated business in that every customer matters, but it's not like you can go in there without notice and expect an endless inventory of every single thing they make. Here's a tip--follow them on facebook and you will get tips about when some of the more rare treats are being baked (sticky buns... donuts... thin mint cupcakes... etc.). Oh, and, when you're dealing with real-butter-based-baked-goods, let them warm up!

Came here for the first time and was very impressed with the quality selections of bakery items. Must try the omg sticky buns and sweet potato muffin. Customer service was great. Will definitely be back.

Soooo tasty! My favorite is the Sweet Jazmine cake. It's sweet potato cheesecake plus a layer of sweet potato cake, with a glaze and cinnamon cream chz icing dollops on top. It's perfectly sweet, moist and decadent. It was a/b $50 for an 10" cake..which was fine b/c it went much further than I thought. Delicious!!!

Just going to be completely honest. The baked good are high quality, definitely above average. That said they are mean, rude, and possibly have the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I will never purchase anything from them again or even eat anything I hear has been purchased from them. Two purchases ago we had a complaint about a filling, they said they made it exactly as ordered and wouldn't fix it, even though that was not true. Just yesterday we picked up a cake early as we had a family obligation (9am as opposed to the 11am they said). When we picked it up they scolded us saying you have to pick up items at the specific time, never before. It wasn't just that they said it, but how rudely they did. Eventually their bad customer relations will catch up to them.

Their cakes were amazing. Very full of flavor and textures. The only thing I wasn't to fond of was the icing. It was like a whipped cream but harder. It wasn't a traditional buttercream. It tasted good, but I wasn't crazy about the texture, but that's just me. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the prices weren't to bad to get a custom cake. But if you are buying cake slices to try, they are a bit pricier than I expected. But otherwise, they are moist and full of flavor

I have been frequenting this bakery since the young woman who opened it finished culinary school in Philadelphia...many years ago....before they were open to the public at the current location. The quality of every single item they make has been consistently excellent and I and my family have tried it all. What I like most about this bakery is that the items they make do taste totally different from other bakeries . The truly unique items are the large ,delicious muffins, especially the sweet potato, while I love all of the flavors and if I want to impress a guest , I always get the sweet potato. The small individual cupcakes are also great and just the perfect size for children. The custom cakes I ordered for my children's wedding and grand children's various birthdays were beautiful and great tasting...always resulting in people asking about the source. What I also liked with the custom cakes is that I literally could print out a picture from a website and they replicated it perfectly. Another thing I like is the individually wrapped cake slices one can buy , this way one does not have to get something too large and can try different flavors like the sweet potato cheese cake. The prices are very reasonable and competitive for the high quality , fresh baked goods. The reason I did not give the highest rating is their customer service issues. I never got a response when I call or email, even though I get emails from them periodically. And many times I could not order the cakes because of the long advance notice they require and they never try to accommodate one. And, lastly, after all these years and all the shopping I have done there, the owner, the young lady that I supported early on when she opened, does not even know my name or shows recognition with greeting when I come In. But all the young women working there are very nice and helpful.

Sweet. Potato. Muffins. That's it. I've been coming to Sweet Jazmine's for years and the quality is still at the same level. This bakery has a ton of good stuff: the muffins, cake, brownies, cupcake bites, etc. They also sell the batter for some of the muffins so you can bake their recipes at home. I've tried some of the brownies. The triple chocolate one is delicious as well as the Irish Cream brownie, but I personally prefer the triple chocolate. The lemon cake with icing is delicious too. I've only tried a couple of the cupcake bites, and in comparison to the other baked good, I was underwhelmed, but they're not bad. They're decent, but the muffins and brownies are so much better. Now, the muffins. Holy cow! They're doing something right at Sweet Jazmine's. From what I've tried, they're all great, but for me, the two standouts are the banana nut muffins and the sweet potato muffins. The Sweet potato muffins are to die for! And they're big muffins too, so you can eat half with your coffee and save the rest for later. Or you can buy a box of 4 and hoard them in your room, because your family/housemates WILL eat them if you leave them out in the kitchen. Sweet Jazmine's has some basic refreshments such as water, iced teas, sodas, and hot coffee. The bakery is incredibly cute, and there's a small sitting room right in the front. However, I never felt completely comfortable or felt the urge to relax and sit in there and munch on a freshly baked muffin. Maybe it's me, but it feels like a place where you come to pick up baked goods and immediately leave as opposed to a café, which is fine. I'm pretty sure they still give you a free muffin on your birthday. Check this place out!

Just bought an assortment of delicious and beautiful cupcakes from Sweet Jazmine's for my husband's birthday, because 'why have one flavor birthday cake when you can have six?' Actually, we got two banana's foster cupcakes because they looked amazing (and they taste every bit as good as they look). Other flavors purchased: strawberry with chocolate ganache, coconut, raspberry, strawberry, and a chocolate cupcake with white chocolate buttercream dipped in a chocolate ganache and covered with white chocolate shavings. Such well-balanced recipes! We love the icing- not too sweet and very luscious. Also, the cake itself is moist and decadent, based on a pound cake recipe that must have come from heaven because it is not too heavy. Unbelievably good!

I buy a cake here every month for my office. Delicious and beautifully made. Staff is accommodating. Yesterday when I was picking up my cake I also got a just-out-of-the-oven-warm lemon-iced blueberry muffin. Shoved it in my face and drank coffee (Starbucks Italian, of course, thanks for asking) on the way to the office. Really, really great way to start a work day. Better than Clays, my prior favorite.

Gosh, the sweet potato muffin is good! It was fresh from the oven and just delicious. I'll be back to try more of the menu but seriously, you should just get a half dozen of these for breakfast. Because we all know that sweet potato counts as a veggie...well, in my world at least.

I absolutely adore cupcakes. I tried 3 different types of cupcakes from Sweet Jazmines and they were all amazing. The cake consistency was moist and perfect. The icing was not overwhelming and paired very well with the cake. One of the best cupcakes I have ever had and that is saying a lot because I am always in search of the perfect cupcake.

Sweet Jazmine's just gets better and better! I am in LOVE with their Peanut Butter cupcakes. Vanilla batter with mini dark chips (dark chips are a rarity in bakery goods, I find). This is covered with a cap of perfect peanut butter mousse that is heavy on the PB flavor and doesn't feel lard-y like many frostings do. They dip this in their ganache and garnish with a single peanut half. It is so well-balanced. A bit of chocolate, a smack of PB, and ganache. Just wonderful. We get their cupcakes bites for employee birthdays and this flavor is always gone first. THe minis are $1 each, which is a very fair price. Big ones are maybe $2.50? Since Cupcakes Gourmet charges well over $3 and their cupcake flavors are basically all the same, the clear choice is Sweet Jazmine's DH thinks their "muffins" are to die for. Basically donuts in muffin tins. Glazed. If you want a donut-y destruction, you must try one! Get napkins.

We got our wedding cake from Sweet Jazmine's and were thrilled. Beyond delicious. The tasting was really fun too. Their building is a converted house, and the showroom is the front porch (closed-in). Very cute! Friendly service, and extremely accommodating. Plus, delivered our cake to our venue for not too much money at all. Guests were happy, we were happy--perfect.

I love this place! I never liked cheesecake before I went there, but it's different than any other kind. My favorite is a chocolate chip with chocolate mousse and cream cheese frosting on top but they'll do anything - they have lots of hidden cheesecake flavors if you ask. Ever since I found out about it while walking past I'm addicted. Very bad place to go if you're on a diet ;) and on weekends they usually have samples of their famous Sweet Potato muffins. The owner's been on the 10! show I think and QVC as well I believe. Family owned and operated and the owner's son is the inspiration for the logo! They do beautiful wedding cakes and lots of other things too. Their tastings are $10 (but you get the price back in the wedding cake if you use them!) and consultations are free. They're extremely friendly too! Stop by some time and you won't regret it (unless it's swimsuit season).

I recently had a piece of cake from Sweet Jasmine's (after dinner at Fellini Cafe-Berwyn). Wow! It was great! My first trip to Sweet Jasmine's left me unimpressed. But I think I need to go back and try some more.

Spent an inordinate amount of time trying to find a great tasting birthday cake from a place that isn't trying to be Ace of Cakes (and charge prices to match). All signs pointed to Sweet Jazmines... and the 2 cakes we got for my mom's birthday party were definite crowd pleasers. Everyone loved the cakes & we got lots of comments that it was the first time that the cake part was actually memorable. The chocolate mousse cake was amazing.

Sweet Jazmine's rocked my world today. After a mediocre cake tasting at Clay's just one block away, I was prepared for another fruitless day of wedding planning nonsense. Instead of being disappointed though, there I was on an emotional roller coaster that would rival six flags!!! I tried 5 well concocted and thought out flavors and LOVED them all. As a picky cake eater, I was initially really weary of a simple lemon but the lemon delight was anything but simple. The perfect balance between tart and sweet coupled with velvety texture helped me to say YES to the cake! I was a bit torn between the lemon and the delicious raspberry but the owner came to the rescue! We combined it for something that makes you want to jump up and down. I totally recommend this place. The staff is friendly, the chef is clearly a pro at what she does and her decoration goes second to no one. Beware though, in addition to spending hundreds on a wedding cake my fiance also walked out with $40 dollars of sweets! Get here fast!!!

I love their cheesecakes, amazing. The cakes are beautiful. They ask for a whole weeks' notice to place an order. This seems a bit excessive.....

I can't rave enough about this bakery. They did my wedding cake and I'm still getting compliments on not only how beautiful it was but how delicious it was. We told Kim our theme and our vision for our big day and she brought it to life. They were also able to combine my love for chocolate with one of my hubby's loves: sweet potatoes. I wasn't your "bridezilla", but I wanted things a certain way and the owner was so patient and friendly that she really put me at ease. I also tried the bananna fosters cheesecake and fell in love. Great shop!

my mother surprised me with a custom cake creation from sweet jazmines ages ago for my 21st birthday. she called in from the other side of the country and spoke with chef kim. together, they created an absolutely delicious combination! it was a yellow cake laced with rum and white butter cream. the cake was beautifully decorated with blue flowers. it was so beautiful, none of my friends wanted to eat it! my mom originally planned to have one of my friends pick it up, but that plan failed. i ended up having to pick up my own cake...!! when i got there, chef kim was kind enough to show me around shop! she is an incredibly sweet woman! if you're ever in need of a sweet treat or a one-of-a-kind creation to sweetly stimulate the taste buds, this is your place! you won't be disappointed with the quality and beauty in every bite!

I stumbled upon this gem just last week but since I am wondering how I survived without it! Sweet Jazmine's boasts a cute little storefront that also gives you a view of the bakers baking away in the back room. Sweet Jazmine's is probably most famous for its wedding cakes, but they apply the same attention to detail to their muffins, cupcakes and cheesecakes too. A cupcake (the best were the chocolate chip pound cake with chocolate buttercream icing and chocolate with buttercream icing covered in chocolate ganache) runs about $2.50, which is a pretty good price considering they are absolutely delicious. If you get a chance, also try their huge muffins! Among the traditional corn and blueberry flavors are some oddities (but yummies) like sweet potato. Sweet Jazmine's definitely gives you a lot for the money, in both quantity AND quality, which is rare for bakeries these days. 6 cupcakes, a muffin and a frozen lemonade set me back exactly $20 dollars.

I LOVE the cake but be warned about leaving messages - no one ever calls you back. To be honest, I'm not sure how often they answer the phone either. I've tried, in vain, to order a cake from them for three separate birthday parties, left messages each time and I've never had them return my call. Every time I've wound-up going to Viking Bakery, left messages and had my calls returned.
