This looks like just a little hole in the wall restaurant..and it is. But it's really a great place to catch a bite. Their breakfast is awesome and everything else isn't half bad either. They give awesome portions, they are reasonably prices, and the service is better than most places you'll find in Beaver County. This might seem funny but the best thing they have on the menu are the french fries. Those are awesome. They are a little bit thick and always fried perfectly. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.

Solid uber small joint that has pretty good breakfast food on the cheap. Not sure I'd go there over Tinitique ... but probably would over the Hot Dog Shoppe if grading on food and not vibe.

Dont let the rough exterior drive you away from this small diner, the inside is cozy and clean with friendly staff and generous portions. I had a burger for lunch, it was cooked perfectly and was very juicy, a mess to eat but a very satisfying meal. Their fries have little seasoning but they are crispy and perfectly salted. They let me sit and read my book and take a break from the heat for a while and i enjoyed myself immensely. Not from in town but if I ever pass through again, i will be sure to return.

Never been for breakfast, but it is legendary. Dinners are homestyle diner type. They have over 25 different burgers. Some with egg, some with jalapeno bottle caps and some stuffed. The traditional stuff is awesome. Home made meatloaf, hot meatloaf and hot turkey sandwiches, and country fried steak. One of those places where just about everything is good. Staff is super friendly, but it's not fast food. An awesome mom & pop shop with good food.

This diner with off-kilter hours has remained elusive to Kay and I...until today. Pit-Stop's customers and staff are as friendly as kittens rolling in catswort. We were greeted and bid a Happy Easter by complete strangers who were simply dining there like we were while an afternoon talk show aired on a small television that was mounted near the ceiling. The Beaver River rolls softly alongside the establishment, pictures of automobiles embellish the walls, and good, homemade basics fill the breadbaskets of locals. Prepare to ask for doggy bags (or boxes) for the portions are enormous. Allow me to share my testimony. Inside this humble establishment waits an ogre. Its name is the 1/2 Pound Burger, and it vows to pound YOU into nausea with its sheer immensity. I had been waiting for ME to conquer it. I was just unaware, and that's how the burger wanted it. The behemothic sandwich is served on a toasty, baguette-style bun with lettuce, tomato, pickle chips, onion, bacon, American cheese, a "special sauce" that looks like gravy but tastes more like the best honey mustard you've never had, and a gang of expertly crisp, unskinned french fries tousled all over the plate and even in between the buns, I...only ate half. I hear those gasps in the peanut gallery. Let me explain. Amazing burger that it was, Kay's father planned a dinner for us, and deciding not to spoil my appetite, I let the beast live to fight another day. Its whimpering weighed down my warrior heart too greatly. Needing nothing else to sustain me, I took the other segment of the burger away with me as a memento of battle. No, despite it being cooked well-done (P-S apparently only cooks it one way for safety reasons), this burger has made it to the upper echelon. P.S. Pit-Stop accepts debit cards but not charge cards.

Read the reviews and was excited to come here. We sat outside in the sun and had a wonderful breakfast. This place is greasy and delicious!

Burgers were larger than expected . It was good but not something I would drive out of my way for.

probably the best breakfast around. I'm not a pancake fan but theirs are great.

I'm glad we came here the other day. The fries are perfect. The fried shrimp I had was also very good. I had to stop Darren from making himself sick over their 1/2 Pound Burger. It is a beast! The service was very good, and all of the diners were very friendly. Cheap too!
