We have come here a few times already and service and food has been ok. But this time both were better. I think they have a new manager. The waitress realized my husband wasn't happy with his steak (it was was overcooked). They insisted on giving him a new one. Manager even came up to us and ensured that this time his steak was cooked right. Btw- I can never get enough of their cheese biscuits. YUM!!!

Went to lunch with the husband last Friday and shared the 2 entree/1 appetizer special for $25 and had a glass of wine. Food was good, our service was stellar. Danielle was terrific! Looking forward to the next visit :)

The front desk service was terrible. We were told that the wait time was 20 minutes but after 30 minutes we were told that it is going to be another 30 minutes. ... It was 1 hour and 5 minutes before we were seated. Never again. Very disappointed!!!!

Friendly service with good food and the tilapia I had was fresh. For the price, it way exceeds my expectations. We had a full 4 course meal for 15. Great deal !

I'm not one to complain about food I usually just eat it. But I was starving and I can't eat a well done steak. So I ordered a steak medium and it came out well done the first time. The waitress apologized and took it back and brought me another one and this one was well done again. So then the manager came over apologized and went back to the kitchen and got me a medium one. The server and manager were awesome. They gave me a free meal and I only had to pay for my alcoholic beverage. I left the waitress $25. She was very apologetic and understanding with trying to make sure I was satisfied and happy. I left there mad at the kitchen staff for not being able to cook a normal steak but the front of the house did an awesome job and I will always return and give service to this red lobster. I been there a bunch of times and this is the only time I ever had a problem. But I was satisfied at the end of my meal. The waitress gave us free dessert to go and we left laughing and smiling. Terrible experience turned into a great and memorable one.

OK. I need everyone to drop all preconceived notions and/or stereotypes about Red Lobster, and go here. It's only about 3 years old, and very nice inside, not to mention they take pride in providing a nice dining experience and serving up good food at reasonable prices. The restaurant itself is very large, has a great bar area, and is decked out with nice wood trim. The booths are roomy and comfortable. The restaurant is clean, and the atmosphere they create here makes you forget you are in a chain until they bring out the huge menus and give the rehearsed welcome. Lol. The servers are all very nice here. You can tell they truly take pride in providing friendly, attentive service. There is a bit of a production when it comes to explaining the menu and deals, but that comes with the territory. Red Lobster is always running promotion after promotion. Bottom line, they are nice. They get your order right, and your glasses will never be empty. The food is great too. I mean, it's certainly not that healthy, but they have an extensive menu with all kinds of seafood faves. Scampi's, Lobster rolls, shrimp every way, clams, crabs....and who can forget the amazing cheesy biscuits. My wife would eat a whole basket of them if I let her. Can't do that though. I love them too! So the next time you find yourself in the Poconos, or just passing through on Rte. 80 en route to another destination, stop in.

This is one of the better outlets for this chain. When first I was told we would be dining here, I cringed. My previous experience with this chain was many years ago at their Eatontown location. There, I found a foul smelling, sticky mess of a restaurant. However, here I was pleasantly surprised. Perhaps, because this is a newer location? There are a great many newer chain restaurants in close proximity to this one. Maybe, this competition causes them to always be on their game? The food was fresh and hot. Our servers were very efficient on every occasion. We actually ate here on an Easter Sunday and had a great meal. I've been here several times since and can say its actually worth the wait on busy nights. If you are looking for a freshly caught seafood that still has a glassy look in its eye, you won't find it here. They do have live lobsters if you're willing to pay the market price but the rest comes prepared in a big truck marked "Red Lobster". This is not world class sea food but it is great value and service. Once again, I reluctantly give complement to a big evil chain restaurant.

This is actually one of the best RLs that I go to, in terms of drinks, service, cleanliness and the food! Everything is always good and the service is always stellar. Jeremy the bartender rocks. Last night, I asked if they make banana daiquirs, which they don't have on the menu, but the waitress asked him if he could make one. I specifically asked for 99 bananas, which they don't stock, but Jeremy used another banana liqueur and rum and made a banana daiquiri. It was his first time making it so he personally brought it over to me to taste. I loved it, and I got to keep it free of charge! He's always behind the bar so when you go for take out, let him make you something while you wait. I've left my share of RLs disappointed and at this particular one, I'm always happy.

So, I do fully understand that it's Red Lobster, and not "fine dining" by any stretch, but I'm pretty disgusted with my most recent visit to Stroudsburg Pa's Red Lobster. I arrived on a Friday evening, and expected to wait, being that the place was packed. I had my 2 small children with me, and their mother, who was joining us with a co-worker, had not arrived. Once I checked in, I was asked if I needed a table for 5, or if a small 4 person booth would work. I advised that since there were 5 of us, we would prefer the larger table. The hostess rolled her eyes at me, and gave me the beeper to wait with. When it went off, my wife was close, but not there yet, I was seated. A waitress came over within 5 minutes and took our drink order, then returned with biscuits and our drinks. I ordered a margarita, which tasted like paint thinner, and probably burned going down worse. I was asked if I wanted to wait for my wife and I said that I did not, because my kids were hungry. The waitress left and returned some 20 minutes later. She finally took our order, and by then my wife and her co-worker arrived. The food was slow to arrive, and was basically gross. I asked for Ketchup for my daughter, which took over 10 minutes to get, and I asked 3 times for a glass of water, which never arrived. My kids held it together well, but towards the end, couldn't sit anymore. We were there nearly 90 minutes to eat dinner. The bill came, I paid, and I left. I won't soon go back!

OK, it's Red Lobster. I'm not a huge fan of chains restaurants like this, and in particular the RLs I've been to have been disappointing. Given the Red Lobster menu, his location does NOT disappoint. For starters, it is clean, with a modern comfortable interior. There are plenty of windows offering natural light and the atmosphere is not heavy. The service is excellent - prompt, attentive and friendly - and they accommodate your special requests. The food is served promptly, it's hot and the entire table is served at the same time. I had the wood grilled seafood combo - the lobster tail was excellent, cooked to the point of doneness without being dry, and nicely seasoned. The sea scallops were very very good and again nicely seasoned. The shrimp, while smaller, were tasty. The grilled vegetables were seasonal and not overdone! The side of crabs legs were perfectly done and meaty. My daughter had the pick-two all-you-can-eat shrimp: the wasabi grilled shrimp were again on the smaller side but very tasty, and the shrimp alfredo over linguine were above average. I would avoid the fried shrimp as they are pedestrian and more breading than shrimp. The desserts - I had the warm apple crostada and while it had a good taste, it wasn't very crispy. The carrot cake was good, altho a tad on the heavy side. The chocolate lava cookie was tasty if you are into gooey chocolate. All in all we were very satisfied given the price point and the menu has been nicely updated. This particular location is clean and inviting inside, and the service is very good.

Well, the outing began with the typical where to eat routine. Decided on this place and everything went accordingly. No wait, waitress was cordial and efficient. Ordered appetizer, calamari and chicken strips, which were a bit salty: lemonades and teas. The biscuits came out and were better than anticipated. Ordered from the 4 for 16.50 menu: no soup, the wood grilled tilapia with mango sauce, and the browny with ice cream. The Caesar salad was as good as usual. The mango tilapia was overly cooked, dry and lacking in flavor and came without the sauce. After waiting for the return of the waitress I received a very small container with the sauce. Which really was more a dry mixture of pineapple, mango, some onion and was told that it is typically poured over the fish but I could feel free to do what I wanted with it. Not to be the bad seed, I went along with the program. The potato was a bit under and the broccoli way over! We order the accompanying dessert and I continue to sip on my lemonade when lo! I find the ice had had company. There were two very well and very dead flies, which really finished any desire to finish my drink or eat my dessert. When Marion returns I tell her about the fly, she quickly points out that they may have just landed in the drink - "Except", I tell her, "they look really dead", and her tone changed and asked if I would like to speak with a manager. After some moments the manager comes to the table and offered to give me free dessert, which I declined since I was not going to eat the one I had on the table. Apologetically he offered 20% off the bill. I told him I'll take the 20 and he could keep the dessert. Upon returning, my wait staff person appeared to have a greatly changed disposition and announced that the manager was "taking away 20% off the bill, that's $15" - just in case we could not do the math, or had a smarter phone. She could've had a 20% tip but she had to buy an unnecessary attitude adjustment. The manager was ok when offering the solution but I can write here that I will not ever again set foot at this establishment. Not only because of the drink enhancers, but the food was lacking on the most important ingredient- flavor oh and over cooked.

Ya'll know I love my cheddar biscuits but usually the service can be a little sketchy. This was hands down the best customer service I've ever had at a RL Shout-out to the waitress who clearly knew that we were trying to scheme to make sure we got enough endless shrimp to go.

My stomach was hurting after eating here...and I think the people didn't like me so they put something in my food....

My son and I had dinner there on Wednesday night, February 18, 2015. I give this place 5 stars all around: quality of food, quantity of food, presentation, value, service. They did everything right. I highly recommend this place. Really well done!

Good food at a good price. Lose the NY notion of Red Lobster and imagine one with good service, good food, plenty of parking, and that is very clean inside. Every time my wife and I visit friends in the Poconos, we stop here for dinner. You can even give them coupons from the Sunday paper to save a couple of bucks, and the server won't suck her teeth and roll her eyes at you!! 2 thumbs up!!!

Came back with my wife and the food and service was great! Usually experiences change the second time around, but not here, so far so good. We purchased the Bahama Mama drink and the server asked if we would like to upgrade it for $2 extra, we said ok. Mama Mia! the glass was huge! It was so satisfying, we did not order dessert.

I don't know what they are doing here, but I wish they would do it at all Red Lobsters!! They were on point in the speed department here today. No waiting for anything!! Waitress was very friendly, helpful and prompt. Most of the time, I have pretty nice servers at Red Lobster and this was no different. What was different was that others can tend to be on the slow side when it comes to waiting for your food. Not here!! Not much to say about the food. If you ever eaten in Red Lobster, you pretty much know what you are getting. Crab Lovers Feast was pretty good. King Crab, Snow Crab and Crab Alfredo Pasta. Pasta was a little on the gummy side, but I wasn't expecting Mario Batali to be making it either. Worth a stop if you are in the area.

I rarely get enthusiastic about chain restaurants - Red Lobster is an exception. I've had good experiences at a different location but this one was really fantastic. We came during the day on a Saturday so it was slow and quiet which was nice. Food was awesome. Everything I ordered - lobster, shrimp and salmon were excellent. My side of crispy red potatoes was amazing. And as usual, the cheddar biscuits and caesar salad were terrific. Boyfriend said his steak was really good and well-prepared. The service was A+. Our waitress was really nice and came around often. She paid attention to details, like asking if I wanted to keep the butter from my lobster plate and offering a different combo option so we could save a few bucks.

Worst customer service I've ever encountered. Family of 7 waiting to be seated, we were told half an hour. After more than hour we are still not seated. Then we see a group of about 15 people get seated and when we questioned them, their response was oh they had a reservation after we were told they do not make reservations. Worst ever!! Save your money!!

I really liked this restaurant, the food was very good and the service the same. The kids popcorn shrimp were a little overdone and spicy.

We have not even eaten yet and we are very pleased with our server, Corinne. She is extremely pleasant. :) Red Lobster has never disappointed us before! I don't anticipate it starting to now.

You know what I LOVEEEEE (sarcasm) at an American corporate owned restaurant??? A kitchen staff full of Hispanics that can barely speak English. Isn't that super?? Using a fake SS# must pay off for them, huh? Our waitress was busy (doing what IDK) but 2 Hispanic males brought out the food.. and when someone asked for more lemons and a refill on a drink and something else... It became very clear their kitchen staff doesn't speak English. How nice of Red Lobster to Employ possible illegals??? I mean the food was OK tasting.. It used to be better. The drinks are pricy and SOOOO watered down it's obnoxious. I'm basically wasting $9 for pina colada mix and ice. With a HINT of alcohol. Not cool. The pricing is not on par with what it should be. It's microwave-able pre-packaged stuff (mostly) that is just re-warmed for "real food" prices.
