My only wish is that it was closer to home! Stopped by while vacationing and shopping with a group of 9 and was very impressed! Great, fast service - especially for our large group and the food was delicious! We had a wide variety from the menu and we were all very pleased! Super cute, casual and CLEAN! Will definitely be eating here next time we visit Seaside!

This place is very average. What you would expect for a teriyaki joint located in the middle of an outlet mall. Definitely can't compete with the atmosphere or quality of the food at Tora, but the prices are a bit better. The menu is the usual mix of Teriyaki/Japanese food/sushi. They do have some creative sushi choices, but the quality is very so so. We got the alligator roll and the spicy tuna and they were OK. Not bad but nothing special. We also got the teriyaki chicken and general tso's chicken and I thought it was very so-so. The atmosphere is decent, they have a counter where you order, then a fairly large area with tables and chairs, maybe a little bigger than your average fast-food teriyaki joint. I didn't have any complaints, it would probably make for an adequate lunch if you were doing some shopping, but if you're looking to travel and have a nice meal, this probably will not meet your expectations.

This is a nice little place for some quick Asian food. It's definitely not a "top of the line" restaurant, but the place has decent teriyaki and sushi rolls for a good price. I recommend getting the short ribs (Korean BBQ). They were awesome!

This was a very strange stop in our day at Seaside. The people were very rude... not so much as even a smile, or a thank you. The food was sub-par, but tolerable. The service and the attitude I could do without, but if my business was right next to the public restroom at the outlet mall I might be a miserable crankshaft too. I will definitely not be going back, unless passing by on my way to use the outlet mall crapper.

As far as standard teriyaki restaurants go I find this place to be as good as it gets. The prices are fair, the portions are good and everything I've had here is delicious. I especially like the teriyaki sauce because it's not overly sweet and has great flavor. The korean style short ribs are amazing and I would definitely recommend trying them. With good food and good service this place is my go-to teriyaki spot.

Disappointment. The portions are meager and the customer service was terrible. The food was typical quality. Here's my opinion of why. I was craving some teriyaki while on my visit to Seaside. My girlfriend which lived nearby told me of this place and Taro. I decided that I didn't want anything too flashy so I chose here. It ended up being a bad decision x.x The place was well decorated, but lacked energy since there were no customers and the lighting was dim with only outside light illuminating the place. Rather odd. Behind the counter was an middle-aged Asian man with glasses. I noticed that he was rather shady looking, and had I a feeling of not wanted from him for some reason. Just for that reason, I decided to test him by asking him if I could get extra meat with my Chicken Teriyaki if I paid for it. He asked me how much I wanted and I answered "Double". Everything was all well until his reply, which shocked me, "Why would you want that much? It is plenty already for you". If he was trying to be a comic, he was a rather crappy one, because his voice and posture screamed condescending, like he was talking down to me. INSTANTLY failed my test. Customer's always #1! You can't doubt and/or argue with them. It's no wonder why all the seats were empty. Never again. Trying Taro soon.

Loved this little place! Wonderful food, service & has a little more space for seating than the average fast food Teriaki. Service was very fast too! I would return here for sure!

I wish this restaurant was closer to home. I love everything about this place! Many choices to pick from. I love the soups on a cold and rainy day! The fried rice is yummy and the sushi is all very good! I would rather eat here than Tora's sushi place across the street. This restaurant is more affordable and you get more for your money!

Everything about this place is adequate or serviceable. It is quite over priced and the staff is not very friendly, and not helpful. Refills are not free, glass is mostly ice and you pay too much for it to begin with. The food is good, but not great. The former owners did a better job, but it has declined in recent years. I probably won't be back.

Edible at best. The sauces were Very bland. The few vegetables were passable. I think Safeway Chinese is better and will choose something else. Did not try the sushi but I wouldn't want to risk it.

Food average. Service poor. Not very busy but order took to long. Rice cold. Chicken barely warm. Don't waste your money or time

Stopped by during a shopping stop at the Seaside Factory Outlet and seemed like this was the only restaurant in the factory outlet. There was a big group of my family so we basically took over the restaurant and despite our large group the restaurant was fast and efficient in getting our food orders out. For a Japanese restaurant in the middle of the coast, it was descent. I ended up ordering Udon that was not terrible, but didn't knock my socks off so was average. The service was good with the number of workers that were there. Maybe three employees? In any case, our food was ordered and served in a timely manner.

Convenient location in outlet mall, food good but not great. Had the chicken teriyaki and California roll combo. Chicken very good, but rest of meal not that good- over fried potstickers and sushi had very little crab. Small portion size and expensive.

This place was actually pretty good! It's very hidden and at the entrance to the outlet mall, and by the public restrooms. They have Chinese, Korean, and Japanese food. Everything comes out fast, and most items will surprise you with a good taste. The pictures don't look that great, but the actual food looks and tastes better. Soda here costs $2, but go to the outside vending machine and get the same bottle for $1.25.

Lets face it, when you need a quick meal and you're in the mood for some quick teriyaki in Seaside, this place hits the spot. The food is good, the price is right and the convenience makes it all the more appealing. This is not a white linen napkin kind of place and there is no dedicated wait staff, but if you want to eat and continue on shopping (located within an outlet mall) this place fulfills.

Came to this restaurant on vacation. I ordered chicken teriyaki with salmon roll. Hubby ordered the spicy chicken, potstickers, and seaweed salad. They were all delicious. The chicken didn't have enough soysauce for the taste. It seemed a bit too sweet for the chicken. I wondered why the sauce was almost a clear brown instead of the usual brown. But the chicken was tender. The salmon was fresh. will come here again when I vacation next.

This place is far from good. We went as a quick dinner place before we had to leave town and I would rather go to almost any place in seaside then here. The service is horrible I was never offered a water or after I got up to get my own water I never recieced a refill not once. The guy never even came over to ask if the food was okay or anything. I ordered the combo chicken teriyaki and California roll. I guess if this is the only place in seaside to get a California roll well then okay but seriously it was sloppy and small. The veggies were ice cold and the sauce for the chicken was very sweet. I repeat do not get the gyoza they are deep fried and gross. avoid this place all together it's a waste of time and money I paid 28 for two people crazy.

Very unfriendly. Weren't greeted. No smiles. We had chicken teriyaki bowls and gyozas. The teriyaki sauce was wayyy too sweet. My daughter Couldn't eat the rice with the sauce over it, so we returned the full bowl and asked for just plain white rice without the overly sweet sauce poured over it. The guys says "No! $2 dollars more" so we just left everything and will not be back. I don't think he even really cares if he lost business.

We were in Seaside and needed lunch, but wanted something on the lighter side. We Yelped and saw the favorable reviews on this place. It is in a strip mall, more specifically the Factory Outlet Stores, we were hesitant but decided to give it a try anyway. You order at a counter and then seat yourself, I ordered a Bento and hubby a Spicy Chicken Bowl. Normally a Bento would come with Miso Soup and Salad, especially for the $13 bucks they charged me, it came with neither. The Bento itself was below average, the rice on both our dishes was either undercooked or severely dried out, but it was terrible. The best thing about my Bento was the 2 Tempura Shrimp it came with. Hubby was less than impressed with his Spicy Chicken. The person who took our order and delivered it was the Owner I would imagine. He was short, cold and did not say one more word than required of him. No glowing Customer Service there. The one final thing that I found gross was that the Restaurant is in the same hallway as the Restrooms for the Mall, GROSS!

We went in and you have to order and pay before you sit down and the man at the cashier made me feel very rushed and awkward so I quickly ordered, when we got to our spot the soy sauce had a piece of metal in it... He gave us a new one and after a minute there was ANOTHER piece of metal In the sushi... He gave us a completely new plate, but wasn't very friendly at all even though we were mostly polite about the whole thing. He didn't check in on us one time, didn't offer a refund or anything. I thought the whole thing was very unprofessional. Won't be coming back and I do not recommend this location

My Teriyaki spot. I have been treated cordially but mostly friendly. The food is good and prepared very quick to average. The restaurant is clean and tucked near the back of an outlet mall. There is a television to keep you company if alone.

Not good. At all. Teriyaki way too sweet- and don't even bother with the sushi which was just mangled and gross. This is a mishmash place - not Japanese! Korean, Chinese & Japanese! Don't bother.

Nice little family-run place with good food! It's ambiance is quite nice, and there is plenty of seating. Service is quite fast, especially considering the small staff. If you're hungry and don't want to wait in long lines at the beach, pop over here! It's great!

The worst EVER. First and last time we eat there. We got sushi, which was average at best and the deep fried chicken with overlooked broccoli n nasty rice. The chicken was so greasy I felt like they don't change the grease like EVER! No flavor on the food. Stay away n save your money!

Don't know if there's been an ownership change recently but am surprised this place got 3 stars. The food was over priced and just plain terrible.

The service is cold. I'm not sure if the guy just wants to avoid conversation or what, but I've tried to coax some conversation out of him to no avail. The food is served fresh and hot and I enjoy the California roll sushi. The teriyaki chicken is enough for two!
