I love this place. I work downtown and recommend it to co-workers all the time. Those who've followed through with my recommendation like it as well. They have a huge variety of drinks and dairy options. My favorite is the Milk Bubble Tea in Taro flavor. All the staff is friendly and accomodating. You should give them a try!

The inside is very welcoming, with a few tables to sit at, fairly typical of a coffee house. Crema is in between Love Love Teriyaki II and the spot where Willamette Noodle Company/Nosh used to be. This place sells coffee from Stumptown Coffee Roasters, carrying a few of those selections. The house blend is one that I'd probably associate with a medium roast. Good coffee here, pretty straightforward. Latin American and East African coffees are combined here for a floral and nutty aroma. Not bad. I came back a second time and also tried the Costa Rica Montes de Oro coffee, also from Stumptown. A bit lighter than what I prefer (and used to drinking), but if you really like a sweet hint and aromatic coffee, then you'll really like it. That too was prepared well. I think it's another great option for downtown workers and Willamette University students (if the latter group wants to venture off-campus for more caffeine). Full espresso bar available. If you want a cool drink, this place sells bubble tea and the usual iced coffee options. The staff has been great on both my visits. As of this post, the pastries in the display case come from another establishment, and I wish Crema would somehow expand to make their own. It's something about baked goods of any sort (savory or sweet) made fresh in house that appeal to me. It's another place in Salem that you'll find cupcakes from Sugar Sugar. There are also a few non-pastry food items, such as wraps, in the refrigerated shelf section. The rating right now is also really more on the average side because I only opted for a rather common brewed coffee choice, instead of taking on a few more interesting items. I hope to return and try more options like the bubble teas and iced coffees.

Love the fact that it has expanded into a restaurant as well! I loved the sushi that I got. I got the lost samurai roll which was delicious and it tasted very fresh with an excellent presentation. I loved how the menu was very asian fusion and can't wait to come back and try more items off of the menu!

Their bubble tea menu has shrunk. They don't have my favorite: taro. Today, they had 5 flavors: pineapple, honeydew, coconut, classic milk tea, and French toast. I love that they make it your preference: how sweet, type of creamer, etc. however, it is rare for them to get my family of four's order all correct. My husband and I got classic milk tea today. I had it with green tea and my husband with black. Both were fine, but not sure we need to return.

Wonderful place to drink , talk, relax, or work, nice baristas, and tasty drinks. Loved the purple haze. Plenty of parking options too.

Happy baristas but disappointing milky tea. Will continue my search for good bubble tea in Salem.

I came in to try their bubble tea. I was not prepared for the huge selection they had! Milk tea, fruit tea, or blended; green tea or black tea; whole, fat free milk, or half & half (plus a couple of non-dairy options); about 10-16 fruit flavors and 6-10 varieties of boba and jellies. It took me quite a while to pick my tea... it came out delicious and fresh. Definitely planning to come back to try a new and tasty combination!! I came for the drinks and stayed for the sushi at Crema Cafe ( yelp.com/biz/crema-cafe-… )! I didn't know they served sushi right next to the Brewtique, it was awesome!

Really like the boba it's sooo yummy I get it in coffee drinks :) the staff is friendly and very helpful with suggestions of a variety of drinks. The food is wonderful as well with fresh ingredients. Relaxing. Place to stop and chill with friends or catch up on emails.

This might be Salem's best coffee. The first time I went into Crema I was struck by how little it felt like a Salem coffee shop. It's like a tiny chunk of SE Portland was somehow dropped in Salem. They serve Stumptown Coffee and the quality of the espresso is top notch. Staff was friendly and seemed knowledgeable about pulling good shots of espresso. Comfortable environment with contemporary decor. Less cozy more modern, Haven't had a chance to try the food, but it looks good!

Here's what I find interesting. I have yet to find a coffee shop to incorporate such a wide variety of choices such as this one does. 1. Liquid caffeine (Genius, there's a drink called a '5150' that incorporates the beautiful taste of an Italian Soda with the kick of an energy drink) 2. Stumptown Coffee (A+) 3. Bubble Tea (It even comes in several forms, as a vegetarian I cant have gelatin and I am pleased to inform you that these tapioca balls are gelatin free!) 4. Delicious pastries (Cupcakes, scones, cookies, and other interesting things I have yet to try) Overall this is one of my favorite coffee shops, especially since its within walking distance from where i work. Check it out! Say hi to Paul for me!

Went for a long run at Minto Brown Park today and decided that I needed a little boost for the evening. As I was heading back through downtown so decided to stop in. I asked the guy working what he would recommend in terms of refreshing pick me ups and he stated that they had a specialty drink where they would infuse a fruity drink with caffeine. Hell, I have 2 kids waiting to be picked up in 20 minutes so bring on the caffeine. He called it a "Strawberry Peach Tea with caffeine". I called it a nice cool pick me up. I was charged 3 bucks, where I was expecting $4 or more. I'd be back for some hot brewed coffee, as that is more along the lines of my what I like (although I am lukewarm in Stumptown for some reason). This trip was a quick in and out, but I would recommend stopping in.

Cute little cafe, great bubble tea/shakes. Try the taro/coconut shake with bubbles - delicious.

Sugar-free drink w/sugar-free syrup was very watered down. I could not tell exactly what flavor my drink should have been. I wish I would have asked the woman to remake it or add flavor to this mocha. Comparing to five local coffee shops in Salem area, same drink. Waldorf 'sandwich' salad had good flavor but poor choice to put between bread, as most chopped pieces continued to fall a part and drop out of the sandwich with every bite. Bread had good texture/flavor, fresh. I would not recommend this coffee shop for sugar-free drinks.

Love this place! One of the few coffee shops in town to offer toddy or matcha. Yum!! Their mucho matcha is bomb.

The new kid on the scene. Although it has been in business for a little while now, Crema has received little recognition, or advertising "word of mouth man, word of mouth",as one of the two rather jolly owners would put it. Crema serves a small aray of Bubble Teas, a decent allotment of Biscuit breakfast style sandwiches, along with some lunch foods as well. Where they shine best is with their Variety of Espresso drinks, their Bubble Teas, and their very personable service. Located next to Love Love Teriyaki, and a now defunct attempt at Sushi elitism for Salem's hob-nobbers; they are not in a wonderfull spot to be noticed, but they are well worth the extra block or two walk from other places downtown.

Even tho they no longer serve Stumptown, they are still a great place. I am amazed at the large selection of fresh made food offerings. The manager is a hard working happy woman! I think why I return so often is because of the employees.

In town for a conference, I decided to drag my co-worker along on a guided tour of Salem. First stop, the mall. Second stop, Crema - as spied from exiting the mall on our walkabout. Now, my friend had never even heard of boba tea. I have been a fan ever since Canada, 2002. So I started off with "This isn't for everyone, especially if you have texture issues." She said she did not, and was willing to try new things, so in we went. My lavender milk, black tea with regular boba was absolutely awesome. Her vanilla, almond milk boba tea was said to be fantastic as well. Plus, she really liked the boba! I am glad to have found such a neat little place for boba tea when I'm back in Salem!

Pretty good. The first time I went the service was good but the orders came out so slow and they seemed unorganized. Went again and a different person was working and the orders came out quickly. Taste was great. I recommend the taro bubble tea. Mmm!

Really like this shop, but one barista on a Saturday morning! Poor girl, poor service not her fault!

Cute little place, staff is friendly, coffee is good. They have a limited food selection but the sandwiches and pasta salads are pretty good.

I finally went to Crema Coffee Brewtique. FINALLY! I've been planning on coming for quite a while, but always had something come up...or I just went somewhere else that was closer. Or a cafe that was already familiar to me. Those things happen. First, I don't know that I love the word Brewtique. 1.) i don't know what a brewtique is. Personally, I think it's a made up word. (Googles Brewtique) Well, it's on the internet, but that doesn't mean anything. It seems awfully snooty for a nice 'mall" coffee place. I don't think i'd even mutter Brewtique in the company of my most bosom of buddies. Well, i might but not with a straight face. Now, i realize nothing can be done about the name, but I needed to share my opinion. Anyways - Stumptown Coffee - when the barista skillfully blends it into a beautiful creamy mocha - well, what could be better? Not a dang thing. The scone was nice and warm and soft and lemony and poppy-seedy. The Wifi was free. No trouble getting on, and it was pretty fast, so I could Kindle away. Furniture was comfortable and the ambiance was fairly quiet. Fairly. (One customer loudly complaining about relationships is not Crema's fault.) The only fault I can find is that the baristas were proudly talking about their past drunken stumbles through the city of Salem. Loudly. And graphically. WTMI, servers. Would I endure it for another mocha? Perhaps. It was a very good mocha.

This place is just "okay". I chose it because I'm tired of giving my money to Starbucks. Unfortunately, the service was not very good and good/beverages were overpriced for what you get.

Not a bad place to study or just grab a cup of tea. The free wifi made me happy! My mother ordered tea with lemon- she ordered a ginger herbal tea. She was so pleased that they had a slice of lemon for her to put with her tea. I guess that's the way she drinks it, kind of weird. But the guy at the counter was accommodating, so that was appreciated. I ordered a honeydew bubble tea- it was delicious. I rarely order that stuff and this was pretty good, got a brainfreeze and everything. I thought this place did smoothies, but I didn't see any smoothie items on the menu. I could have missed it though, but I would think that there'd be a big list somewhere of all smoothie items. I also think these guys would make a huge profit if they invested in a juicer. There are no places in Salem (other than Jamba Juice) that juice their own fresh fruits and veggies. If they had this option (or healthy smoothies available), this place might make it! Hope to come back in again!

Free wifi (no password needed) And friendly staff. The manager Paul is like so COOL and NICE. As usual, stumptown coffee, and now they have bigger variety of scones and bagels. Now offering punchcards! :)

This is a great new little coffee shop in Salem. They have selections most other coffee places downtown don't have and the atmosphere is a bit more comfy and sophisticated. The prices are reasonable and the staff and owners are very friendly.
