I'd walked past it several times, usually wandering over to Cartopia or Lardo East, but decided to finally stop in for a late lunch (3-ish) today. I was surprised with how big the space was when I went it. I had thought it'd be maybe half the size, so was shocked to see probably close to a dozen 4 tops scattered around. Nothing particularly noteworthy about the space, though it's got a fair amount of natural light and is reasonably open. I ordered the duck noodle soup ($11). Was surprised with how big the bowl was when it came out. Broth was rich, a lot of umami and rather sweet. I had to add some dry chili to contrast the sweetness a bit, but that's par for the course for me and Thai. There was plenty of duck, and the bits of duck were delicious. Attentive service, especially considering I was the only one there - too many times where the lone diner gets ignored. Super close to my place, so I'll probably wander in here again.

I've never been disappointed here. I love Pad See Yew and will pretty much get it at any Thai spot I check out. In this neck of the woods (in se pdx) the Pad See Yew at Thai Spoon is some of my favorite. The tofu is and chicken options are both great. To add they have a few great hot sauces that compliment their dishes very nice. The service is friendly, fast, and attentive. Pricing is fair and balanced... and for some reason there always seems to be Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo loading screen music playing (for Playstation 1). And I like it...

Decided to go here 5+ times before I wrote a review. Not sure why the low marks, always good food, always good service, always a bit empty (fine by me), I could eat here over and over, its consistently good.

I live in Gresham and whenever I drive into Portland (sometimes I do just to eat here) it's really the best pad Thai I've ever had!

Very friendly and quick service. When I am working from home I need to make a quick run for lunch. I'm usually able to have a hot delicious meal while I wait for to go dinner order.

Just okay. That's how I would label this place. The portion wasn't out of this world. For me though, portion isn't a deal breaker if the dish still feels like it's worth what it cost (i.e. quality ingredients). I didn't get this impression. The noodles were standard. The meat was meh. The vegetables were lacking. The peanut sauce was pedestrian and I daresay my peanut sauce might even be better. I love Thai food, so a place that serves just okay Thai is still a-OK in my book (hence the 3 star rating). However, with the amazing Thai food I am used to up in Vancouver from Thai Little Home, I will be looking elsewhere to satisfy my cravings.

I like the atmosphere! This is kind of a pricey Thai place, but the food is pretty tasty. My boyfriend got the Green Curry and said he'd had better. I tried it myself and was immediately reminded of Yellow Currey from an Indian food place. The staff is friendly and helpful, it's a great place for a date, or just to go out!

Food is ok. Portion is small. Staff not exactly friendly. That said, my order was taken and delivered promptly. I was the only person in the restaurant, yet the waitress never came back to ask if I wanted anything else. She sat behind the counter and did something on a screen. Half way through my email she delivered the check. No words were spoken. Although I wanted another drink, I decided to skip. I also decided to skip a tip. Oh, and the cheesy love music can probably go. :)

Came down from Seattle and our family was craving for Thai and found this place. Everything we ordered was delicious. But my absolute faves were the shrimp tom yum and chicken pineapple curry. I would definitely come back whenever I'm in Portland.
