Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

I really should have read the reviews before ordering from this location, cos here I am a full 2 hours after dinner still dwelling on what a shitty deal this was! I got a coupon in the mail this morning, 7.99 large. So, I planned to get my half and half pie on the way home, good deal, no cooking... (let me add that their parking lot is sketch and the worker that served me had something to hide. I could see it in his guilty hands.. ) I get the pizza home and am so hungry I snake a piece from the box and scarf it down. Tasteless! I am immediately disappointed. I finish the piece and wait for everyone to get home. I demand that we eat now! when they do cos I was still so very unsatisfied. We sit down to some carrot sticks and pizza. I dress it up in hot sauce. But still. No dice. My hopes are dashed and I'm stuck with a shitty dinner. I'd have gladly paid a but more for quality. Shoulda gone to dominos...

This Pizza Hut location has three delivery drivers that: 2 have texted me personally after they delivered my pizza, trying to get me to hang out, and the last one this last Thursday snuck around back behind my apartment complex into a private alleyway and watched me pee through my ground-level bathroom window. Learn my name, because we'll be in contact quite frequently over the next few months. No women should ever have to worry about a public service like PIZZA DELIVERY!!!! Jesus.

Moments after placing an order online the timer told me it would be over an hour an a half to get my pizza delivered. So, I called to check. I asked to check that my order was received and to get an approximate time frame on the order... really hard to believe an hour and a half, I've worked as a delivery driver in my teenage years. The guy asks for my last name and then after a moment of silence says "Yes, my delivery driver is on his way."... "um... " I say... "I am not sure how that is possible, considering I just placed the order about 1 minute ago... can you please really look up my order to make sure it is received and give an an approximate time?" No apology for the obvious lie... and mumbles "oh, I see, we had two under that last name.. I have it right here. You'll have to wait an hour and a half." No "Sorry, we're busy" or even a simple "It looks like it is going to be about an hour and a half..." After lying to me, a rude- "You'll have to wait an hour." Biting my tongue not to call him out on the lie, I asked for a refund and will never order from there again.

Worst pizza ever! I didn't have high expectations, but this was just awful. Pizza came late, cold, and doughy with essentially no sauce.

I am currently feeling motivated to write a review, so you know I must feel strongly about this. Ordering from this location is simply ridiculous. I waited over two hours to get my pizza delivered and it came cold, the crust was mushy from sitting so long, and the pizza was not good at all. Don't order from this place, such a disappointment

4 stars??? How can I give a Pizza Hut 4 stars? Well, as far as pizza chains go, Pizza Hut is the only one that will deliver to my house in NE Portland, so that gives it a big fat extra star right there. OKAY OKAY! I admit it. Pizza Hut is a guilty pleasure. She's my "special lady" I see on the side. When I'm lookin' for a bit of the shush. A little late night taste of the bad. The hush hush. Plus, this location has always been very consistent and good. And they're fast . Last night I tried the new Pizza Sliders. And I called ahead for pickup vs. delivery. The store is very clean. A lot cleaner than many pizza places, I might add. And them sliders were pretty good! And cheap. I got 3 pep/mush, 3 pep/mush/sausage and 3 anchovy for $10. Now, realistically, this would feed 3 people. IF....(and a pretty big if) IF those 3 people weren't pretty drunk and needing late-night greasy food. I don't eat pizza often and I order from restaurant chains even less, but this is the place I'm probably ordering from if and when were going that route. Especially for delivery. *They also almost always have a special going on. Ask them when you call or look it up on the interwebz.

Had a credit. Another late night... ordered pizza. An hour later it wasn't here. Called the store & the first person told me "we're busy tonight and delivery is taking about 45-50 minutes" Then that person put me on hold. Somebody else came to the phone and told me "We're sorry but the driver couldn't find you." So... what.... NOBODY THOUGHT TO CALL ME?? WTF?!

Food poisoning! Don't order from here! Ordered pizza from here for dinner and the whole family is miserable at 2am on a school night. Typical Portland theme.. Hire labor cheaply, don't train them in food safety, be lax in keeping the kitchen clean, and this is the result, and not for the first time we've gotten sick from here. I've spent years managing dining halls for a major university and I know exactly what its like to try to maintain a clean and safe kitchen with underpaid and unmotivated employees, so thus isn't just sour grapes. Avoid ordering from here.

One star AT BEST. The pizza was over 40 minutes late so I called and was given a $3.00 off coupon. The man on the phone said that was all corporate policy would allow him to discount. Keep in mind the delivery fee is $3.00. NEVER AGAIN!!

I work at a nearby hotel and have ordered from this location a few times, and even sent many guests their way. The last two times I have ordered pizzas, there have been several missing ingredients such as crust flavoring, sauce drizzle, and toppings. The first time I called to complain because I had ordered online and there was no crust flavoring even though I had requested it. They gave me a credit for the amount of the pizza (not including the tip for the driver, no surprise there) So the next day, I try again and they tell me that the pizza I ordered is only available online, but I can't use the pizza credit towards an online order, so I get their deal for two medium any topping pizzas over the phone. The pizza is about 45 minutes late, as I was told it would be about an hour and a half delivery time. The pizza is barely warm, and of course the crusts have no flavoring on them. In fact, I had ordered the bacon stuffed crust on one of them, and it was only when I called the store to complain that they told me the mediums don't come with stuffed crust! The attendant on the phone who had taken my order certainly didn't tell me that, and she had mentioned the price increase for the bacon stuffed crust too. I'm not as upset about the substandard pizza as I am about the lack of service and accountability at this particular store. Both times when I called to voice my concerns I was treated in a hasty, dismissive, rude manner. I even spoke to the shift supervisor, who insisted that I could not have ordered the pizza I said I ordered, because they don't make mediums with stuffed crust. He denied all responsibility for the inaccuracies and instead TOLD ME that I wanted another pizza credit for 10 dollars,(not even covering the price of the order) and when I asked for his manager, (Natalie) was rudely told to call back another time. This has been one of the most unsatisfactory experiences I have ever encountered from a pizza parlor. I have worked customer service jobs, I understand mistakes happen, but I never expected to be treated in this way just because I wanted the pizza EXACTLY how I ordered it. I will be getting in touch with management asap to inform them of how poorly their employees handled this situation, and I will certainly think twice before I refer any of my hotel's hungry guests to Pizza Hut, or eat there again myself.

Worst Pizza Hut ever. Didn't bring my entire order but charged me for it anyway. Then when I called to complain they said they'd send the rest in 15 min. Like 45 min later it came burnt. A few hours later my butthole exploded and I felt like I was having contractions. You suck.

They delivered my pizza two hours after I ordered and it showed up with an item missing and the pizza was stale and cold. I've made numerous calls to the store. They refuse to apologize or take responsibility and were only going to send me another pizza if I paid another delivery fee. The workers and management didn't care and had terrible customer service and phone skills. I contacted corporate and they care enough to send a generic email and mail a coupon for a free pizza.

If I could give less stars I would. I waited 3 hours, yes 3 hours. I called in 3 times, was hung up on once, then told the driver was en route twice. The pizza never showed up. Horrible customer service.

This is the worst Pizza Hut in the world. I ordered tonight and after paying and waiting for delivery, I get half an order. I then spoke with the driver and watched him call his manager and should be back in 15mins. Over an hour goes by and I still do not have my complete order. I called the store and got a call center, they told me I didn't get my order that I paid for because I didn't call them. I should not believe the driver because they don't do that. No accountability, its my fault they messed up. I asked for a refund, can only refund the wings, and we will not send to you. Okay, 2 hrs later the wings showed up but they were the wrong type and stone cold. Don't waste your money.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
