Got here 1:45 on a Thursday. Place was empty. Ordered burritos rancheros. Asked for extra gravy. Heard waiter tell cook "extra gravy". Gravy was maybe a quarter inch deep on sides of burritos. 20 years ago the plate was always full to the top with gravy. The gravy is why I eat here. I've got the same thing every time I've ate here and always ask for extra gravy. Never got it yet unless the lady waiter is working and I ask her to bring more. That's my only complaint. It probably costs them 5 cents to put more gravy on the plate but instead they would rather have customers that are not totally happy. Maybe they will read this. Doubt it.

I recommend you stay well clear of this place. First of all, we were approached by a kid that was grade school age to take our order. I told him I wanted to order a beer, so obviously he was of no help. He walked away and we waited another 15 minutes for a woman to arrive. We gave her our order and waited another 10 minutes. No beer. We wound up just getting up and walking out.

The service was awful and my "burrito" was not fit for a raccoon scrounging in a dumpster. DO NOT EAT HERE.

Seems legit walking in but it's not too good. Nice server and environment is good. Lame salsa even after asking for hotter. Food was not spiced correctly....it was meat and shrimp with pepper on it. Not totally disgusting but not any kinda good. Try somewhere else.

Stopped by for lunch driving down to Sunriver. The food was fresh and very good, and the service friendly.

Awful. Our server was a 10-12 year old kid whose mother and/or father also work there. Kid promptly spilled the salsa all over our table when delivering it. Took half of our order but couldn't take our beer order. Had to wait for mom to come by and take that. Kid had to return and confirm what we had ordered: chicken fajitas and carne asada. We waited and waited and waited for our food. Considered leaving. Kid delivered rice, beans and pico for the chicken fajitas but the main course didn't arrive until a good 10-15 minutes later while the rice and beans got cold. Carne asada was like shoe leather. Couldn't even cut it with the "steak" knife provided. No one came to ask how our meal was. Food=terrible. Service=terrible. Go elsewhere. (It's obviously not the kid's fault - he's a kid and too young to be working taking orders and serving food. Have him fill water or bus tables, something easy.)

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
