Very good chicken and beef for the rice and meat bowl. It is not a cheep meal but it is high quality.

Don't get the baguette here, go downtown to get it instead. Definitely not worth $6.75 The rice bowl on the other hand is decent. The price is a little high $6.95. You first tell the girl or guy that you want a rice bowl, then you pick white or brown rice. Then you pick the type of protein. I have only had chicken, but I think they have pork and tofu and maybe a daily special? Not sure. Then you pick the sauce, I've only tried the red and yellow curry. I like the yellow curry more. And you get to pick toppings for your bowl. I usually get Thai iced tea with my rice bowl for $1.50 which is pretty cheap compared to other places in Corvallis. Their Thai iced tea is just a little too sweet though.

Came here a few times because I love eating curry at a fair price..but everytime I order a bowl from here I always end up biting into very hard rice, one time is forgiving, but several time isnt... and you get very small portions too. I dont think Im ever coming back here again.

So I walked into this place today to try it out since it opened only a few days ago. Man, this place is not worth it at all. They have two options - a Vietnamese style Banh Mi sandwich or a rice bowl. I opted for the sandwich because that's what I was more interested in (to compare against Baguette downtown) and because the white rice they had out was burnt and dry. There were 3 choices of protein you could pick from, those being pork, BBQ chicken, and tofu. I picked pork since that's what I usually get at other Banh Mi places. The rest of the toppings are pretty standard fare - pickled daikon and carrots, cucumber, some sort of sauce ("sriracha aioli" at North Porch), cilantro, and jalapenos (I leave these off). The daikon might as well have been a paste and the carrots were shredded to almost the same state. The cucumber was sliced so thin to the point it might as well not have even existed. Then they piled on a ridiculous amount of cilantro. Sauce was kind of decent, at least. As a whole, the sandwich left a lot to be desired. It was pretty much just *okay*. What made it worse was how it was a ridiculous $6.75. Might as well just go downtown to Baguette and get a better banh mi sandwich for $5.25. I've yet to try the rice bowl but I have a feeling that Panda Express being able to cook better rice is indicative of their food quality. tl;dr: Food - meh, prices - absurd. Go elsewhere for Asian food.
