Not much to look at, but this place was good. Very good service. Super yummy apple fritters and rolls--both served warm. Catfish was good, not great, but the warm baked goods more than made up for it. Ribs were good--very tender. Broccoli slaw was a bit over sauced, but had really nice flavor.

The staff is friendly but the food is very low quality, mostly fried. Also don't be surprised if you puke afterwards

Seven years ago, my husband & I stopped here for dinner on a cross country trip from Atlanta to California. We had such an incredible meal then, that we always commented that if we ever found ourselves back on I-40 in OK, that we should eat there again. Well the opportunity presented itself today, so we stopped in for dinner. The service was exceptional. As soon as we were seated, 2 piping hot blueberry fritters were brought to us! OMG, they were to die for!! Then, we both had the catfish dinner. Everything was fresh & served very hot. The dinner rolls were also as good as we remembered. I don't know when we will pass through this area again, but if we do. we will most definitely be back!

I've eaten here so many times and I've never been disappointed. The service is always great, very friendly waitresses and manager. The food is so good, I especially love their fritters, chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy and dinner rolls that come out hot right after you are served your meal. I will continue to go back. It's definitely not a healthy choice but if you're in the mood for homemade comfort style food, try this place out.

I'm sorry but I can't understand how you fry catfish and French fries "COLD" Friendly wait staff but I will pass on a return trip!

I am not a catfish person, but the other food is great. My family's fave part is the apple fritter appetizers that you are served before your meal. The service is good. Even When it's late. (we came in 30 mins before close.) I definitely recommend this place. The average cost is $10.00 per person.

Great apple fritters. Fish is not all that good. I would try the grilled chicken.

I drove for almost an hour to get to this place because I heard it was some of the best catfish in the state. I was lied to. The service was great and the apple fritters were good but the catfish and hush puppies we were served were horrible. There was almost no fish. It was breading with traces of fish and the hush puppies were stale. Also I ordered a salad and it was brown tinged lettuce on a plate. What made this review a 2 star instead of a 1 was the fish tank. They have this massive fish tank with albino catfish in the lobby and it was fun to watch the fish while we ate. Although it was kind of odd eating catfish and being watched by catfish at the same time.

With all due respect to anybody else who has reviewed, this joint is one of the best eats in all of Oklahoma, and it was an above-average experience to boot. This was the third time I had eaten at Catfish Round-up, which is just off Exit 200 along I-40 north of Seminole. My first two experiences were to-go orders, and this was a dine-in. Each time, I've had the catfish dinner. I figured that's what they do, right? I'm not even a 'catfish' person, but their is fresh, flaky but juicy, and the fact that each of their sides gives ample competition to the main course is a plus. The mashed potatoes and white gravy were moist and marvelous, and the cole slaw was above average. Rolls were hot and soft, and the apple fritters are ridiculous. My only off mark about the food was the sweet tea. They could use some help from a good ol' fashioned Texas barbecue joint on the sweet tea, but I would have also been happy with a Coke. The service was above average, not perfect. But they were also packed. For being packed, it was a-ok. It's a neat place, complete with a little gift shop and if I'm not mistaken, at least at one time, they had an aquarium there. Kind of funny, I suppose. Alas, if you're looking for a stop along I-40, I can't recommend Catfish Round-Up highly enough. For two people, we got out of there at $23 plus tip. You're not going to top this place in that area and probably not even the state.

Our meal was really good. I had the hamburger steak, my husband had a burger & fries. He hates fish, & was pleased to learn that the restaurant didn't smell fishy. The staff brings apple fritters before the meal, then fabulous dinner rolls with the meal.

Service is great - fish and fries were served hot! This is our second time to eat here! We were staying in the RV park across the interstate!

My husband and I are major foodies, so we were excited to try Catfish Roundup after hearing how great the food was from many friends and clients. We were so excited to see that the service of meals included fresh baked apple fritters and rolls. My husband and I received a few of these excellent dinner rolls (Enough to go back just for them) Unfortunately the girl serving the apple fritters made eye contact with me several times, but ignored us 5 different rounds of service, stopping at every other table but ours offering these awesome powder sugar covered balls. Our server apparently knew the folks sitting next to us, and we were sat in the corner. I guess at this establishment, if you don't know a waitress personally and are not sitting in the middle of the room in a large party, you don't matter. Waited 10 mins to get a beverage order in because she was busy socializing. The Catfish was excellent. The fries were crispy, and the coleslaw was noteworthy. The food was so delish, but the service, or lack there of, left something to be desired. I may need to return for more buttery fresh baked rolls, and MAYBE we will get some of those awesome looking fritters....what a tease!!!
