I've been there a couple of times since it opened last year. It used to be Val's Diner. The bbq is really good and I love their fried okra. It's the only restaurant that knows how to make it right. Nice and crunchy. I was in there yesterday and ordered a 2 meat combo, sliced brisket and ribs, with okra and fries. It cost $14 but they aren't shy about filling up your plate. In fact they don't bother with plates, they fill up your tray, and if a fat guy like me can barely eat it all you know you're getting your money's worth. It was delivered hot, unlike a lot of bbq places where you get it kinda warm, a big pile of okra and a bunch of fries. They only gripe I have is they don't toast the bread they give you. It's a place you really need to try at least once.
