So upon entering this facility for a 'fine dining' experience, you see what appears to be down home cooking on the buffet; fried chicken, home fries, meatloaf, corned beef and cabbage, pinto beans, bread pudding, etc. We seated ourselves, took more than 15 minutes to get drinks, thats after we called someone over for assistance. The food was bland, and cold...big dissappointment. The sirlions were also bland. I wasted most of the food on my plate....truly a bad experience, awesome if you just want to shovel some bland mess in your mouth.

I had dinner here the other night. I had a really nice time at this restaurant but it wasn't because of the food it was because of the wonderful people that I was dining with. Let me start by saying the following comments are from a reviewer who does not care very much for buffet restaurants. The sides were not delicious, the meats were not delicious, our waitress was not the friendliest person and she let our table get too crowded with plates before removing them. The tables are too small and cramped for a buffet style restaurant. The one item that I did enjoy was the iced tea. That was never refilled. Even once. My recommendation is to drive around a little to see if you might find another restaurant. I know that Okmulgee is small, but try.

Pretty nice hometown buffet style restaurant! They got the best fried chicken!! So crispy outside and so tender inside!

It's basically an over-priced, over-rated buffet. I go because my mother-in-law likes it, but I wouldn't go otherwise. The best part of it is the meat. The steaks (available in the evening as a part of the buffet), fried chicken, bologna (thick sliced treat), ribs and pulled pork are the reasons to go. The salad bar and sides bar are just okay. The dessert is less than average, with the cobblers and bread puddings being either too runny of too firm. If you're looking for volume and don't care about quality, this might be for you. Otherwise....
