Love this little diner. Love the atmosphere. It's in the heart of downtown Chandler. You'll have to park along side of the road in front of the restaurant. Very popular place. When my parents and I arrived around 11:30am, some people were still eating breakfast. The place was packed. You could tell this was the place people came to eat. Decorated with 50s paraphenalia, every where you turned were pictures of Marylin Monroe. And Elvis. And others. Mainly Marylin. I ordered the 1/4 burger with added cheese. Awesome. Not greasy where it would leave a meat patty print in your bun. Just right. Fries were just the right amount. And the food is inexpensive but the quality and service was superb. Not an artsy burger place and no franchise burger feel. It's plain old, mom & pop, real Americana burger diner which character. It's a nice find in the middle of Chandler along Route 66. If you're passing through and want a bite to it, this is the place to be.

This is a fun little diner along Route 66. The menu is pretty limited - burgers, sandwiches, chili, chicken fried chicken and steak. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, tater tots and tea. I had pretty low expectations, to be honest with you, but the grilled chicken was excellent. Nice grill char on the outside, juicy inside. Not remotely overcooked. Hubby had the half pound burger. He reports that the burger tasted precisely how you'd expect a burger on Route 66 to taste -- cooked at high temperatures on a flat top. He would have liked the bun to be toasted, but it was an excellent burger nevertheless. The service is off the charts. The waitresses hustled non-stop. They serve beverages in massive glasses (32 oz or so), and I would drink about 1/3 before somebody swept in for a refill. When we checked out, they put my tea in a carry out cup and, you guessed it, filled it up.

To be blunt, I'm a spoiled city brat that has ate too many "fancy" burgers. However, I will forever have a soft spot for the obscure restaurants scattered across the great state of Oklahoma. Boom A Rang is one of those obscure restaurants that you will never know about unless you find yourself in the relatively quiet town of Chandler. Boom A Rang is located on the the main strip in Chandler. There's nothing fancy about this restaurant. It serves up a quality product at an extremely affordable price. On my visit, I decided to go with the burger basket special, which only set me back $5.19. It consisted of a traditional cheeseburger and fries. Was it the best burger I've ever had? No. However, for the price, I can't say that I was disappointed in the least. I chose to sit at their countertop (which only seats 4) and was warmly greeted. The waitress was extremely polite and attentive to my questions. (Gotta love that southern hospitality.) The food arrived quickly and after I was finished, I found myself satisfied without being so uncomfortably full that I needed a nap. Overall, I'm a fan of Boom A Rang. Sure, there is nothing fancy about their burgers. But then again, I didn't need, and wasn't expecting, anything fancy. It was just a good meal at a great price. It's definitely worth a try if you find yourself in Chandler.

Charming old-style Route 66 diner - open longer hours than most we've encountered (7 a.m. - 8 p.m.). Great old photos plaster the wall, black and white checkered floor, diner tables and stools at a luncheon bar. It's in downtown Chandler. The menu has a nice selection, including breakfast items. The food is tasty and the people were super helpful telling us about must-see places coming up on our Route 66 trip. Tips like, go to the Round Barn, but climb up and lay down and explore the ceiling - supposedly a wonderful view of expert craftsmanship. Try the Pickle-O's (fried dill pickles)...doesn't sound good, but they're really great, served with ranch dip. Stormy is the manager and she knows how to treat customers and how to run a successful restaurant. She told us they have about 40 of these Boom -A-Rang restaurants throughout Oklahoma, so we'll look for more of these.

Passing thru so I thought I'd give it a shot...it's a nice local burger joint...food was really good and the atmosphere was nice...I had the 1/2lb bacon cheeseburger basket and enjoyed it...I'd recommend the 1/4lb though because the 1/2lb is a lot of meat...overall I thought the food and service were both really good...glad I stopped by!!

We have been here a lot and haven't really ever had anything that wasn't good. They're pretty quick too! Only bad thing is it's really small so there's not a lot of seating, kinda feel squished.

Cute burger joint with lots of character. Food was very good. I had a mushroom and Swiss and it was delicious and they didn't skimp on the meat. Great patty melt and home made mashed potatoes! Great place for our family to stop. Very nice staff.

I found this diner totally by accident on my drive from Phoenix to Chicago... And I so happy I did! I had a cheeseburger basket... The burgers were hand packed and the fries were fresh cut. The service was super friendly and attentive as all three waitresses check on me throughout my meal... If you are ever in Chandler, OK I totally recommend stopping in!
