This place has the best onion rings in town!! Its definitely a small mom and pop burger place but the burgers and price are great! Two XL burgers with fries, a side of onion rings and two large drinks, all for $17!! I would get the XL burger because the regular is pretty small. Everything came wrapped just in paper (no plates or trays) but it came fast and hot!

How has this escaped me for 16 years. Guess they keep a secret tell well around these parts. Should have known cause the Highway Patrol and Police all eat here. Look at the pictures, this is back home old school burgers and fries. You can tell it great just finding a place to park, next is the mouth watering smell walking in the door. Find a table and sit. Don't hog the big tables for 4 if there are only two in your party. Service is 5/5, cleanliness is 5/5, and the food is 6/5!! Friendly, welcoming, fast service. Tea sweet and Unsweet is top notch. Burgers remind me of growing up, thought Dad or Mom had cooked them. So Old School!! Got an XLCB extra large cheese burger, so good. Fries done right. I give you a tip, if you and wait, open seating and open parking around 12:50-1:00pm. I can not wait to go back!

It's good and quick the waitresses are sweet girls. My fiancé and I both agree this is probably the best burgers in altus. They keep it simple but the meat has good flavor and that's really what makes or breaks a burger. Plus it's $20 for two people to grab a bite... That's not bad in my opinion.

Best burger joint in town. Compared to every local mom-and-pop hamburger joint I have ever eaten at I would give it 4 stars, but it is 5 stars for this town.

This is a local joint with lots of flavor. I know a lot of people who go here weekly, so I decided to try it. It's a tiny place, but always packed which is a good sign. I think they're only open for lunch. The whole place looks like it needs a good cleaning but that's to be expected here in Altus. You can eat there or get it to go...it's a standard burger joint. If you eat there, the food is served in little paper envelopes piping hot. There's no plates or anything, just use your fingers. My cheeseburger was yum and the fries were cooked perfectly and salted to perfection. I can see why people go there a lot, it's cheap and fast and delish. There's a reason this place has survived here so long!!

It seems every time i try another burger place i have a bad meal, experience etc. My standards are not high they are normal, Altus culinary culture and customer service is not normal so i know its not me...or maybe it is. Who knows. All I know for sure is i can tell when a place or the food at that place sucks and i dont go back. (Richards, Fat Daddys, Freds etc etc the list is growing alarmingly fast) Roberts has Never let me down. This place is old and yes needs some work to the decor BUT. The staff is always mostly sort of friendly and the burgers and onion rings are always good. Another great burger is the Altus Burger at the bowling alley on base but a lot of people cant get there so in fairness i dont compare that, just saying.... Roberts keeps it simple. No plates just paper holders but that is cool. Only one thing, their regular burger is real small. Get the XLCB if your in the mood for a big juicy one.

Good burgers. The prices have gone up a little too much for the product. They also have great kitty's chicken.
