Excellent Carne Asada Tacos!!! (Tell them you want all the stuff on them like cilantro and onions and salsa). Being from California, I am always a little skeptical of Mexican food in Ohio since it tends to be bland to meet the local palate. These are superb and the pitcher of margaritas hit the spot too : )

This restaurant has the best cheese dip I've ever had in my life!! I don't know what their secret is, but no other restaurant comes close. The margaritas are excellent and come in 3 sizes: regular (which is on the small side), jumbo (which is maybe 50% bigger), and the 3rd is a giant fishbowl of a drink that's almost embarrassing to have sitting in front of you taking up so much room on the table. I can get better chicken fajitas at the Xcaret in Tiffin so I don't order them here, but the dip more than makes up for it. Good selection of combination platters and a few vegetarian choices as well. The staff is friendly and efficient; most have been there a long time.

Good food. Not five stars in my mind but it's solid and cheap. Thank God it exists in Willard cause there isn't much else.

just driving through on our way to some place or other, we stopped here for lunch a couple weeks ago. it was not the most amazing mexican meal either of us has ever had (how amazing can a fajita that comes to your table NOT sizzling be?) but it was pretty darn good. very darn good, considering the zip code.

La Campesina is a small Mexican restaurant located in Willard, Ohio. Although the food is cheap and the decor is reminiscent of an old-fashioned greasy spoon diner, the food is excellent. In fact, the food is so good, it rivals the famous Xochimilco Mexican Restaurant in Detroit. As I have already mentioned, the food is cheap. Especially lunch; you can stuff yourself for under $4. I recommend any of the combos, you'll get a good variety and they are the best deals in the place. Be sure to get the beans, they're topped with a soft white Mexican cheese that's terrific. The Margaritas at La Campesina aren't that bad either. They're cheap and taste good, although I'm not sure how much tequila is in them and they're pretty small. If you're even in Willard Ohio, I highly recommend a meal at La Campesina. It's good, authentic, and best of all, cheap.

I think the name may have changed (new name Tacos Ricos!? maybe I'm not really sure). Anyway at the address provided by yelp there is a Mexican restaurant. From the outside, it doesn't look like a place you would go to eat, but let the yelp reviews guide you... this place is no joke. The tacos they serve are simple and yet incredibly delicious. I come from the land of over priced, trendy tacos (aka Connecticut) so real authentic Mexican tacos are somewhat hard to come by. Like the other reviews I was skeptical about the quality of the food, given the location, but fortunately I couldn't be more wrong about this place. The tacos are excellent! I had the tacos al pastor, pollo and chorizo. Each one was delicious, but the al pastor was definitely the best in my opinion. I also asked for chips and guacamole (didn't see it on the menu) so I'm guessing they whipped me up a fresh bowl of guacamole, which was just as good as the tacos. All in all I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and authenticity of this place. Definitely stop by, as this is probably your best dining option in Willard. Not to mention incredibly cheap (bottled water, 3 tacos, chips & guac= $8.50), I felt like I was stealing when I left that place, full and satisfied. P.S. I think this is the same place as the other yelp business listed in Willard... La Hacienda.
