Food here is good, beer is cold (many choices on tap) and there are plenty of flat screens around for your viewing. There are regular specials and Monday Steak night is my favorite! Typically have bands on the weekends in the evening. The outside of the building does not do it justice, much larger once you get inside. Several updates have happened recently so if you haven't been here in a while give it shot!

This review is long overdue. I went to Pat and Dandys this past weekend with some family and friends and had a mediocre experience. We all ordered and it took about an hour for us to get our food. Also our drinks were empty a lot of the time but are server wasn't to bad. When we finally got out food mine was wrong but I was so hungry I didn't care. The food its self was pretty good as it usually is. The real problem with P&D's is the service. I've heard of waitress punching customers, bartenders that didn't like making drinks (Rob), and a waitress that gets mad at you when she screws up your order. Come for good food at a modest price, but don't come for good customer service. Also the bathroom is creepy.

Let me first start off with if you are just looking for a place to drink, this place will work out very well for you. Alot of screens around the entire place playing everything you could want to watch while drinking. The wait staff is very nice but not very attentive. There will be alot of waiting to get their attention so you can order or ask any questions. Tried a bit of a variety of food including the wings, clam strips, a cajun burger, and their version of the Jack Daniels burger. The wings needed to be cooked longer so they weren't as slimy and the P&D sweet hot sauce was just buffalo sauce with some sugar added, not bad but not good. The clam strips had good flavor but it always seems like so long as you don't ever cook them they are pretty much the same at every non-seafood place. As for the burgers, they are good sized and cooked the way you'd like. The cajun burger is a cheeseburger with cajun seasoning mixed into the meat. Yet again not bad but nothing special. The Jack Daniels burger was flavorless. I got it with all the fixings and the only thing that had some flavor was the pickles and the barbecue sauce. All the meat is from the neighboring meat market. There are a variety of sides to choose from but we went with the twice baked potato and their famous baked beans. The Potato wasn't bad for a regular baked potato not sure how they considered it twice baked. And the beans tasted like any out of a can baked beans. The price is not worth the wait or the portion. So in summary if you wanna get a drink and watch the game, go there and have a blast. If your looking for a filling meal with alot of flavor for a decent price, maybe try another place

As a bar its fine. The food is well below average, and most times the truly awful food is perfectly matched with the awful service. I guess what makes this place hum for me is the historic mens restroom, its been so long since its been cleaned that the urine coating the....well everything, is likely the most accurate DNA map available of the residents of W toledo since the place opened.

Its not flashy thats what makes it my favorite hole in the wall. Steak night on monday is great. They always have ice cold beer and very friendly service. I used to go every monday when I lived in the area. Summer is the best! I don't know what other people are talking about with bad service I think they are great. They have a online jukebox and a ton of tv's. I recomend this bar if you want a cheap meal and great staff to serve you.

For those YELP'rs who won't consider what's on the inside because of what they see on the outside..... you may stop reading here. Pat & Dandy's is "NO FRILLS" on the outside, fo sho! A rickety fence guarding its lack luster outdoor patio. A low-profile dirty white building that is fairly rundown in appearance. Now, for YELP'rs who want TO KNOW... read on. P&D's inside is as common looking as any town's local haunt. Outfitted for sports viewing with TVs and a light sprinkling of video games make it comfy. Me? I'm here for the food and with one visit I was sold. My meal? I ordered the grilled chicked Greek wrap. First - WHOPPER! I ate half and took the other half with me. A great combo of chicken, olives, feta cheese, lettuce and dressing. It came with onion rings which were just a step below huge and they came piping hot! Love piping hot side dishes. As a side-kicker I ordered the Pat & Dandy's special - a Big Pretzel with jalapeno cheese injected into it as filling. The pretzel, again, came piping hot. Well,.... WOW! That darned thing was the biggest hit on the table. Delicious. My friend had a grilled chicken salad - pretty standard fare and he liked it. The price fo any and all was moderate and made the visit more than worth our while. For All-American food in a low-budget setting..... delicious food, really.... I'd say visit Pat & Dandy's.

My husband and I decided to try Pat and Dandy's after buying a Groupon. When we got there, we weren't expecting much because it looked very sketchy on the outside, but we decided to try it. We went there about 1:30/2 pm on a Monday and the place was practically dead--just a few people drinking. We weren't sure what to do, so we just sat down at a table and waited...and waited...and waited... After wondering how stupid we looked and if we were doing something wrong, we were finally able to lock eyes with the bartender. It turns out she was the waitress and bartender--for the entire place. It took forever to get menus, but our food came out quickly. The food was good (usual bar food is what we ordered--mainly fried things) and the waitress was very apologetic. She asked us if we had been there before and then we struck up a conversation. Overall, we liked this place and will return!
