Generally speaking, Panda has great food. Well, everything I've tried anyway. The service is ALWAYS fast, I have never had an extensive wait. From the time I order (over the phone) and get to the restaurant (which is about 15 mins away), my food is there waiting. Hot, ready, and most of all fresh. And to make service even better, I'm always greeted by name. It's nice to be welcomed. As far as decor is concerned, overall it is outdated. Nothing fancy here. Although, I have never ate inside the "restaurant", through the double doors to the right. But from what I can see, there are usually a few people eating inside. As for the food, my personal favorite is a savory pint of spicy chicken fried rice. Call me typical, I know. I feel like if a Chinese restaurant can't make a simple dish such as this, then the other food isn't worth my time. But this is so delicious I cannot let it go. It's like that guy/girl you want to break up with, but know if you do you'll be miserable. My point is, the rice is very savory. The chicken is cooked perfectly. Carmelized onions, yum. And I always ask for spicy, which gives it even more of a kick. A pint of this goodness, is $3.95. Enough said. I cheated on my chicken fried rice once, with a sesame chicken dinner, which comes with white rice and steamed broccoli. It was okay, I've had better. At around 7 or 8 bucks it's enough to feed 2+. Overall, Panda is a palate pleaser. Give it a try.

The sesame noodles served cold on their appetizer menu carries the whole rating for me! I've tried to find it other places and have even attempted to special request for it to be made (which is a daunting task at any restaurant, much less a Chinese restaurant!) and nobody has even been able to compare. Besides that I really just eat the egg rolls, which aren't really that great but I'm not one to pass up an egg roll. I usually pick up so not really concerned with delivery issues. This place seems to be family owned so thumbs up on supporting local businesses!

I honestly don't know why I even give this place chance after chance, maybe because there aren't any other options in this area for delivery but they ALWAYS get the order wrong and typically take an hour and a half to deliver it. They need to work on their communication skills and get someone that cares to deliver their food. The food itself is ok, nothing to write home about. The general tsao is good, egg rolls are bad. Overall if you have another option take it!

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. If I could give this place zero stars I would! The food was below average and a little greasy for the price. The service staff is RUDE and incompetent. But the real kicker..... We ordered delivery and for the mongolian dish we asked if they could do a combo chicken/beef instead of chicken or beef - but said if there is an extra charge or it's a problem then not to worry about it. They did it anyway and tacked an extra $2 onto the order without asking. They acknowledge that it was a mistake and they're sorry but refuse to budge on the $2 fee (on top of the delivery charge and tip paid). I was polite, did not raise my voice, did not use inappropriate language (spoke as if I was addressing a boss or manager) yet the man started screaming and used profanities which I won't repeat here.

Their Chinese delivery has been great to my boyfriend and I. Not really expensive, and the food has been fresh and tasty. It is your typical style Chinese, its not PF Changs, but if you are staying home and craving Chinese - very tasty. Their Hot and Sour soup was great, their pot stickers are awesome. Their vegetables weren't overcooked to mush, and that is a win for me.

I was looking for a new "go to" Chinese place and ran across Panda Chinese. I was excited to give it a try so I placed an order via their website, pandatoledo.com . I chose the delivery option. Their website states that deliveries can take anywhere between 30 and 60 minutes and must be within a 5 mile range. I live within 4 miles of the restaurant. I received an email confirmation that my order was placed. An hour and 25 minutes later, I still hadn't received my delivery. I called Panda Chinese to check on the order. The woman who answered the call said that I was not in the delivery range (even though per their website I am) and that she had repeatedly called to tell me. My cell phone had no missed calls or voice messages. Considering I received a confirmation email saying the order was accepted, I would think they could try and contact me via email if they couldn't get through via phone. I am unable to comment on food quality since they never made my order. The restaurant made no effort to help me out (e.g., "we'll go ahead and make the order if you pick it up"), just repeatedly told me that I wasn't within delivery range. Unfortunately I will have to continue my search for a new Chinese restaurant.

Good food for the price. Chicken with garlic sauce is delicious. Delivery takes a while but the drivers are friendly.

I was visitng family in Toledo and stumbled into Panda the other week. I am from NY where we have authentic delicious Chinese food and was craving for some home cooked Chinese food. I was doubtful that I could find a Chinese restaurant that could satisfy my tum tum. I was wrong! Everything that I ordered tasted really good. I ordered the hot and sour soup with extra spice and it was to my liking. One can tell a lot about the chef's cooking by how he makes his sweet and sour soup. It was thick(some restaurants make it very thin[not enough ingredients]--not worth the money), not too sweet and spicy for me(I like spicy so, you may not want to ask for extra heat to your soup.). Everything was delicious. The food was served quickly and in great portion. I gave this restaurant a rating of 4 1/2 star because the food was great, the service was good and the chef was pleasant. Thank you! Will eat there again when I visit Toledo next time.

I've been eating here a lot in the past year or so, probably 10-15 times at least. The Chinese carry-out is among the best on this end of Toledo, with nary a sub par dish on the menu. It's authentic cuisine, that is very affordable and good in price. I've had every soup on the menu, and at least half of the regular dishes as well. I've yet to find something I didn't like. Service is fast, and the people are friendly. It doesn't get much better than this. My only real complaint is that sometimes I'd like to be able to sit in the restaurant to eat, and you can't. That and the soup is always to hot to eat right away. Other than that, no complaints at all. It's a fantastic place to check out.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
