Last nights Shore's and Steel King strip steak was better than anything I've had at Mancy's for a long time.

For a no frills great steak, cooked perfectly at a price that will not break the bank, this is the place to go. Heard about it for years and finally decided to try and I was not disappointed

Good steaks, not great but good prices. The staff are great but the inside could use and update.

I will never eat at another steak house besides here again. i grew up in los angeles and this place even puts steak houses back home to shame. the portions are generous and the full course meals are well worth the money. steak, salad, soup for 2 will set u back about 36 bucks total including sodas. but my god are the steaks HUGE when you eat there. not when you order take out. the owner even came by and greeted me with "hows the food,?" it just made me feel like i was eating with family instead of a restaurant. i definitely will be going back here.

What a surprise! This is the kind of place that has survived because the food is AMAZING. The decor is an old-school, one-room supper club with booths on one side and a bar on the other. (Look at the photos on their website to set your expectations.) Our waitress was a character--a little bit surly, but sharing vignettes of her life experiences with each interaction. My rare filet was as tender as butter, still cool in the middle. Our friends each got the ribeye, and the waitress swapped how they each wanted theirs cooked, but after we switched that up, theirs were cooked perfectly, too. My spouse's kafta special was spiced by not overwhelmingly. The prices are, well, steakhouse prices. Adding mushrooms, bleu cheese, butter, or other toppings are each extra. Soup is extra. But the quality of the meat is as good as any I've had: Ruth's Chris, Keens, Peter Luger, Delmonico's. Yum, yum, yum.

Decent ribeye, baked potato, salad and 2 pretty stout vodkas for less than $30! Perfect for a business traveler!

Average at best. Steak was the equivalent of that at the Brownstone - average. Steak was prepared well. Onion soup way salty! Asked if sherry or brandy could be added to liver and onions (reminiscent of was available at the great Ansara's restaurant) but was not available. Large sides including the very good house potatoes which will provide a nice breakfast with eggs. Liver was cooked as listed on menu - (a little over medium well), Would have like it medium as asked for. Just don't think they allow for much variation from the menu. Drinks were very good. Decor a bit drab. Service was just ok. Very loud environment. More than two people would require table not booth seating. Over all C. Prices were far for the portions.

I have had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant for over 18 years. The food has always been exceptional. How many places still serve soup and salad not one or the other? This place does! Started dinner with the stuffed mushrooms and grape leaves. The crab in the mushrooms was plentiful and fresh tasting. The grape leaves were delicious as well. Our steaks were cooked perfectly. We both love RARE steaks and usually get something cooked a bit longer than we would like. Not this place, red center and cool! A small bar is located just inside the door in case you need to wait for a table. Sunday hours 3pm-8pm. Plenty of families and older diners eating there.
