I had the chicken sazon and it was a sauce that the kids said smelled like Christmas. It was suppose to be enchilada sauce but it had so much nutmeg or cinnamon that it was in edible. Went back a second time and got the chicken chorizo. The chicken patty was tough like it had been defrosted and cooked in the microwave. Cheese dip is delicious. Nacho chips are fresh but no salt. Still no really good Mexican place in Springfield.

Incredible!!! This is the best Mexican food ever!!! I'm so happy with everything on the menu. I love the chimichanga, the fajitas, enchiladas, nachos, fried ice cream, & chips & salsa. We order this all the time & take it home to eat as well as eating in.

I was having a meal with my husband on Valentine's day. Firstly, they will not serve you a drink without your id. Even if you drink there frequently. secondly, when my husband and I got our meal, he had hair in his rice. The staff isn't keen on keeping fountain drinks filled either. Not to mention this is not authentic Mexican at all. Worse quality than El Toro, generic flavors and nothing seems to be actually "made" in the store. Definitely not my favorite Mexican place, definitely will always suggest somewhere over here.

Mexico (and Japan!!) are slowwwwwly taking over Springfield, and there's not a THING you can do about it... Except sit back, enjoy, and leave room for dessert, if possible!! Who'da figured this slice of "white bread" America would have THREE Japanese steak houses and new and improved MEXICAN joints opening up all over town?!? This place has only been open for a couple of months, and while not much different than the other reasonably priced, great service, American-palate friendly Tex/Mex style places all over town, it's definitely got the air of "we're new, and we want to do a GREAT job!!" I'm all over trying anything new (breaking free of the CHAINS!!) and while there were no big surprises on the menu here, everything we tried was MUY BUENO!! I ordered the chiles poblano (my latest obsession... WISH I could make 'em half as good!!) with a side of guacamole (yum!!) and Mr. M&P ordered some kind of special sampler that appeared to give him one of just about everything on the menu!! FAST service, cozy atmosphere (there was a big group of about 10-12 people having a party with little/no noise overflow...). Some interesting looking desserts we had no room to try (FLAN!!!) and full bar service. BEAUTIFUL talavera tiles/pottery and other authentic decorations-- Check out the GORGEOUS ceramic sinks in the bathroom, no joke!!! All in all a great addition to the area... BUEN PROVECHO!!!

Superior table salsa and chips. Good margaritas, and entrees were excellent. Price was better than el toro. All and all this will be our go to Mexican restaurant until they mess up..

One of the best Mexican restaurants in Springfield. Service is fast and friendly, and what my husband and I have tried so far (chicken chimichangas and seafood enchiladas) has been excellent. The price points are also very reasonable. Glad to have this business in our neighborhood.
