Went for our 39th Anniversary and had to wait for 40 minutes to be seated, then waited about another 10 minutes before the waitress came to the table. My husband asked for the Flo filet mignon to be medium well and it came out so well done you could have made shoes out of the meat. My husband normally would have just kept quiet and ate the steak, but it was so over cooked and dry, that he refused to eat it. The manager brought out another steak and it was so rare it literally was bleeding when my husband started to cut the meat. The manager took this steak back and he literally returned to our table in about 2 minutes or less with the steak which was cooked well done again!! I told my husband their is no doubt in my mind that the manager put the steak in the microwave to cook it. I also ordered the Flo's filet mignon and it was cooked medium like I ordered but, it did not have that really bold seasoning that I've had before. My steak had no flavor so I added extra salt & pepper to help it along. The only good thing I can say is that our waitress was very friendly and that she has no control over how the food is cooked. The manager did take my husbands steak off the bill, but I feel like our Anniversary dinner was a disaster!!!

Terrible service. Walked out after waiting 30 minutes for water and a draft and another 30 minutes to have them try to serve one meal before any salads had been served. Manager offered to comp but we were not staying.

Mediocre service but the steak was the best I have had in a very long time. Wait was 20 minutes and we were told 20 minutes. Some that came earlier were seated sooner but I suspect they called ahead. The shrimp appetizer was delicious.

They really know how to cook a steak here. Love the Flo's Filet and the 7 Pepper Sirloin Salad. 1 star off because the service was a bit slow at the bar.

"Steakums" Ambiance: We went on a Sunday around lunch. The place is clean, with nice decorum. Good lighting. Food: The food was pretty good for a chain restaurant. I got the shaved prime rib sandwich. It was very tasy. The bread was a nice texture and the meat had a nice texture to it. Tender, but a little crunchy in some areas. Everyone else's food was good and a got to sample the parmesean crusted chicken. It was tasty as well. Customer Service: Our server was really attentive and helpful. In my opinion, she had a tough bunch, but definitely displayed professionalism. The food came out at a reasonable time and she kept the drinks refilled. In Closing: Ohio mostly has chain restaurants, so if you are going to go to one, you might as well go to LongHorn. It's a good option and I'm a fan (when I'm in this town lol).

Just left the Longhorn. I really wish I had read the reviews before I decided to dine there tonight. I came at about 7:05, spoke to the hostess who asked how many people were in my party. I said 1 and she asked if I wanted to sit at the bar... I said that was fine. That was the last pleasant moment I had at that restaurant. I noticed a few empty seats, but they had plates. I asked the bartender if they were free (I wasn't sure if the patrons had just gone to have a cigarette or what) she, in a very nasty tone explained to me they were gone and I could sit. She said that she would clean off the bar.. About 10 minutes passed and she came back to take a drink order (I was about to leave). I ended up ordering a glass of wine. Given I wasn't too hungry I ended up ordering a salad and an appetizer. Maybe that was my mistake. Maybe if I had ordered a full meal things would have been better, but I sincerely doubt it. Looking at past reviews, my experience here is the same as everyone else's. The food was ok and the service is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will say the talk between the waitresses saying how unfair it was that they didn't get their bonuses was entertaining.... The Caesar salad I ordered was ok. A lot of the lettuce was on he wilted side. The jalapeno poppers were really great. Taste was good and the presentation in the individual glasses with the sauce was nice. The bartender never once asked if I needed anything else (pepper on my salad would have been great), but I was never asked. Never asked if I wanted another drink or dessert. I'm not sure what the requirements are for getting the side of bread and butter. Is it complementary or no? While I just ordered a side and appetizer, the men next to me only ordered beers and got bread.... Nice. When I asked for my check I never received a "thank you" or "have a good night". I actually apologized when I left because it was apparent I did something wrong. I am sorry Longhorn for eating at your establishment. Trust me, it will never happen again. I'll be calling the manager tomorrow to apologize. There are a ton of places to eat in this tourist trap. PLEASE go somewhere else.

I always suggest to anyone looking for a good steak to come here and get the porterhouse for two. A giant 30oz steak that when cooked medium rare is a melt in your mouth beyond gorgeous steak it also comes with two sides and two salads. It's the perfect date night meal. The restaurant itself is a bit loud but what can you expect for a steak house it's size. My only complaint is that I wish they would ask parents with little kids that scream and cry to take them outside or to the bathroom. It bothers other diners experience, but I realize with the big controversy over the owner of some restaurant yelling at a kid that they might be a bit apprehensive to say anything. All and all a very nice place to eat. Have before, and would again, recommend.

Great place to have a steak and a beer. Having the porterhouse for too. Great if you can handle it. Now back to eating!

First off, I do not like to hear about people's dirty laundry ( as far as the servers go)...I mean, isn't that the point of a night out away from your own kids and life in general?! Second, if you get the salmon, your better off running to meijer and buying a can of salmon cat food and uncle bens 90 min rice .... And the burnt baked potatoes?! Don't get me started.... No amount of butter or sour cream could salvage the potato flavor... Last but not least, I didn't realize cooking a RARE sirloin was that hard to do.... I do not recommend this establishment...

Went in because I really enjoy the Longhorns in Auburn Hills, Mi and was craving a good steak. We were seated right away however we waited for our beverages for about 10 minutes. We finally got them then it was another 15-20 for our food to get there. I ordered the outlaw ribeye and was unhappy with. It was so tough that the knife they provided me with wouldn't cut it. Luckily I carry a sharp pocket knife. I cut it in small enough pieces that I didn't have to chew it much and then just swallowed it. I probably should have just not eaten it as the next day myself and my wife both had very upset stomachs. I won't be eating at this particular establishment again.

Worst "big brand" restaurant ever. The first time - I ordered soup. It was served as it came from the freezer. I asked for it to be at warmed..... Waitress said "That's the way the shrimp & lobster soup is served." I asked for the manager. She stopped by, pulled the ice cold bowl and returned a bowl of hot water with milk. Revisited the Sandusky restaurant because my husband said I shouldn't judge on one experience. This night? All I heard was the waitstaff loudly complaining about customers and fellow wait staff. I worked for many years in truly upscale restaurants. Two of the many forbidden things to do - talk loudly about your customers and slam other employees on the floor..... I didn't ask to speak with the manager, as the manager was one of the worst offenders. I'd think more than four times before going to the Sandusky Longhorn Steakhouse.

Brought out my French onion soup, not burnt, but charred. I tried it, throughout my meal the burnt taste held a heavy presence in my mouth. Even after an entire beverage. I asked for my steak medium and received it medium-rare. Eh.. I asked Samantha to refund the soup and that I didn't want another, she brought me another.. At least she deducted it from my bill.
