Great portions abound regardless of your choice of all your standard Italian favorites. The food is consistent and always served hot and with a smile. This is a great place for just about any situation .... A family eatery that is kid friendly, a beer with buddies, a girls night, a date night, or even a large party as they do cater. All of these can be seen at every visit. This is not fancy Italian food, which makes for a very comfortable, social, community meeting place. You'll appreciate, however, some unique delectables like Fried Jumbo Pretzels filled with jalapeno or cheddar cheese. Fried provolone is another notable, must-try "Zappetizer", a creative patty-shaped spin on the popular Italian standard. The restaurant is family owned and operated which makes for a large, friendly welcome and an even bigger doggie bag. I have visited several times and the staff is always friendly and eager to please. Be patient when dining at peak restaurant hours as the popularity of the place slows the service just a touch. A stocked bar is somewhat separated from the larger dining area which makes for adult fun away from the family environment.
