I go to this Qdoba on a regular basis and always receive great service and food. The staff is very friendly and the dining area is always clean. I highly recommend it.

My usual burrito spot is Chipotle, but Qdoba offers a nice change of pace. They have a few options to differentiate themselves, like their delicious Queso sauce. They do make a mean burrito. Their staff is friendly. But they lose stars because I feel like they try to nickel and dime you as you are selecting the items that go into your tortilla. I ordered the vegetarian burrito, but they make you choose between the fajita filling and guacamole!?! This is the reason that I will be visiting the Chipotle the next time I am looking for a quick Mexican dinner.

I visit this Q'doba often because it's 2 minutes from my house and I crave their 3 cheese nachos. This last visit (this past Thursday afternoon) I had an overall exceptional experience. From the minute I walked in I was greeted with a smile to the time I sat down. The cashier would not let me walk my own food over to my table because I also was carrying my 6 month old in his car seat. I could have managed without any problems but she refused to let me. The person putting my order together treated everyone with such kindness that you could not help but smile. She made you feel like you were ordering the best food in the area despite it just being another burrito place. The entire restaurant had a positive feel to it just from these 2 workers up front. The food, of course, was good. I crave it. My only complaint is that there be more nachos for the 2 cheese nachos. I always run out and eat the toppings with a fork at the end. But I guess this is better than there being too little toppings so I can't complain much.

I'm an avid Qdoba fan (sorry, Chipotle) and really like this location (work & live basically right around the corner). Everyone's always friendly and it's usually a pretty fast-moving line. If you've never tried the gumbo I'd highly recommend it, especially with pulled pork. It's basically tortilla soup on steroids with all of your favorite toppings, and who can say no to that? Oh, and they've started double points Mondays--get 200 points on your Q card with each entree, and it's only 1000 to a free meal. How easy is that?

Like a less crowded chipotle. Basically the same food with a coke freestyle machine.

Caroline C. had a great Yelp riff yesterday on how all new Cincy burrito joints seem to be judged on a "scale of 1 to Chipotle," i.e., "1 being the least like Chipotle and 'Chipotle' being the most like Chipotle." This is so true. And it's too bad, because although Chipotle is pretty damn good for a fast-food joint, Cal-style burritos can actually get quite a bit better than Chipotle. Maybe just not here. At least not yet. Well, Qdoba HAS to be judged on the "1 to Chipotle" scale because it's not only another national burrito chain but, like Chipotle, it started in Denver in the 1990s. On this scale, Qdoba is probably about an 8. Or about 80 percent as good as, or like, Chipotle. How so? The meats taste a little more warmed-over, the salsas don't seem quite as fresh, the cliantro-lime rice isn't quite as flavorful, and the tortillas seem a little gummy. But it's otherwise a very comparable experience. Overall, Qdoba and Chipotle are embarrassingly similar. One criterion on which Qdoba eclipses Chipotle: the decor is warmer and the seating is more comfortable. (Memo to Chipotle: the industrial-ish decor scheme is starting to get dated.) A decent option when looking for inexpensive, quick food at Rookwood Commons.

I am a fan of Qdoba for the 3-cheese queso and nachos as well as a rewards program which puts it ahead other fast food Mexican. Plus, Qdoba embraces social media and does giveaways if you interact with them in these areas. The food is like any other location but i find this particular location to be especially slow and maybe it is because there's rarely a crowd in the evenings so the staff has no sense of urgency. The staff seems to have trouble cashing out or not applying rewards, which can be fixed IF you get your receipt and call. Also, I would never dine in because it is located next to a Yankee Candle and I can smell those candles wafting over but I have a keen sense of smell so others may not notice this. Hopefully, once they're open a year the kinks will have been worked out.

Just okay. Nothing that impressive, and a little overpriced.

Not sure what else I can add to this conversation but I feel it needs to be reiterated how good the services on a consistent basis. Several of the workers have my order memorized, whether or not this is good or not I'm not sure. The servers are always generous with their portions and always greet customers with a personal greeting. On my last visit I forgot my wallet and the manager was so kind as to tell me not to worry about it. LOVE THIS PLACE!

First time visit for lunch. The store is in the back section of the Rookwood Commons outdoor stores. The interior is pretty bare bones and not a lot of flair, but it was clean and orderly. For lunch I had the grilled chicken queso, wheat tortilla, brown rice, and some salsa. It was tasty. The seating has a mixture of booths, tables, high tops, and a bar top (where I sat). Staff was curteous and friendly.

I put this above Chipotle for three reasons: 1- unique flavor combinations like the chipotle pesto 2- the taco bowl 3- limes. Yes I know it's a little thing, but the lime really seals the deal. It's good, it's quick, it's not mind blowing. But I would go there over chipotle anytime.

I love me some Qdoba! Qdoba is yet another Chipotle-style restaurant, but rather than the simple burrito or burrito bowl, one can customize their own salads, tacos, etc. In addition to a greater variety in entrees, they also offer a greater variety in toppings and the like to make your entree as delicious as possible--my favorite being the queso; add that stuff! Qdoba also has a loyalty card to get you earning some free food in no time, and their catering is just a about flawless.

The queso is delicious however the rice was overcooked the last time we went. Still worth trying out especially if you're tired of chipotle.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
