We tried the Kansas City Combo and it was extremely well. I tried few places in North Carolina and this place was much better.

Not my idea of good bbq. But the Brunswick stew is the reason I go here! It has beans, pulled pork, other veggies and a light tomato based broth. Probably one of the better BBQs in canton. But I travel In Texas, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, etc.. A lot... no comparison

Solid BBQ at a pretty good price. Took advantage of their $11 full rack of ribs over the 4th of July weekend (on the last day) and somewhat expected to "get what I paid for" since it was such a good deal. The ribs were fantastic. Tender. Lots of meat. Flavorful. Their side dishes are always on point. Great local chain that gets it right. Have had the pulled pork and brisket, too. Always leave full and satisfied.

Good smoked flavor in the pork, brisket and fall off the bone ribs. 5 different sauces to choose from but the meat was so tasty did not really need any. True Southern sweet tea to wash it all down.

I had the pulled pork Carolina style meal with fries. The sauces here are fantastic! The have four main sauces: Tomato based traditional; Tomato based tangy; Mustard based tangy; Spicy They smoke the meats using logs that are stacked up right in front of the place. I will definitely go again when I can.

If you don't like BBQ with pizazz, Old Carolina Barbecue is a nice place to go. Don't get me wrong; food here is not bad, but rather bland and uninspiring. That goes for all of their proteins and most of their sides. Their only dessert; banana pudding is superb. I had a good experience though because even bland barbecue beats no barbecue at all. This might be a great place to get a party platter: You can take it home and add your own pizazz to it. They have platters that serve up to 50!

one of my favorite places to go when i'm in canton ohio. the sandwiches are priced well--$5 for a pulled pork with lots of meat. the sides are great--i always get garlic mashed potatoes and baked beans.

This REAL BBQ was a welcome addition to the greater Akron-Canton area. The pulled pork and brisket are amazing. The Original (sweet) sauce is still my favorite, but they do a really nice take on the Carolina mustard sauce, which goes great with the pulled pork, as it should be. The sides are great -- good beans, which is essential, love the hush puppies, and the Brunswick Stew is a truly unique and mind-blowingly delicious addition. Possibly the best part about OCB is the staff. These kids are clearly trained in customer service. The restaurant is walk up counter service (typical for BBQ), but the staff make recommendations, help you save money, have a sense of humor, and swing by your table multiple times to see if they can get you anything. Love it! This friendly, welcoming atmosphere will keep us coming back! Great job guys! We've been to both the Massillon and Belden Village stores, and this is very consistent. And I don't know what the guy over on the Canton review page is smoking (no pun intended). At the Massillon store, we could smell the smoker as soon as we pulled in the parking lot! Also wanted to let the management know that we first found you guys when you were handing out very generous free samples down at Lehman's Hardware earlier this summer -- very good advertising. We'll be back!!

Love their pulled pork- but really I haven't had anything yet that I didn't like... their brisket is great and so is their chicken and turkey. Love their side dishes too- specifically their green beans and mashed potatoes, and french fries (not all at once, obviously) They have the nicest employees who are really helpful and happy to be at work. They catered my wedding which was SUPER cheap, they went out of their way to help me pick out food, stayed within my budget, brought their own supplies from the drinks to dessert to the main course... I still get compliments on my wedding dinner- 2 years later! I used the Massillon store because it was closer, but it may be the same person who does the catering for both Canton and Massillon.

We recently used Old Carolina to cater our wedding. Aside from one error, everything was FANTASTIC. The food was great, the service was on point. We started several months out from the wedding with the tasting. The gentleman that helped us was very knowledgeable and had samples of their entire menu for us to try. They met us before business hours, answered every question we had, and even sent food home with us. We were so hooked that we barely looked anywhere else for a caterer. At the wedding reception they provided a great family style meal that all of the guests were more than pleased with. We got nothing but raving reviews from the guests and even had one of the vegetarian guests smother her salad in one of the sauces that Old Carolina provided. They did, however, forget a portion of the meal that we paid for. Once we identified the error, they worked to rectify the issue. They were quick to make the monetary fix and were nothing but courteous and professional in the process. Despite the error, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this company to anyone who wanted to use them for catering. And, for the quality and amount of food we got, we would have paid close to twice what we did anywhere else. You would be hard pressed to find this quality food with the level of customer service and professionalism anywhere else in NE Ohio. Had the mistake not happened, I would have easily rated this establishment with 5 stars instead of 4.

I love a good BBQ place, and this is one of the best I've been to. Their meat is delicious, they have some wonderful tasting BBQ Sauces (which you can buy!), and excellent side dishes. The baked beans are to die for and the best I've had. I can't wait to go back here again if I travel through here!
