Nice fine dining with tasty options and a great atmosphere. The restaurant is in the nice walkable area of Loveland which makes for a nice place to be before or after dinner. I had the Natural Chicken Roulade (breadcrumb encrusted, brie, almond, grape & prosciutto stuffed, peas, carrots, mint rissoto) and the house salad it was absolutely delicious. The service was a bit on the slow side.

Being foodies, I'm shocked Tano Bristo flew under my wife and my radar. We first saw the restaurant while on the bike trail. We ate there, tonight, for my birthday. Seldom have we been blow away, eating out, as we were tonight. Not to bore you with what we ordered - it would not have mattered. Every dish passing our table looked amazing. Our dinners were amazing. The food, the service, was spot on. If you're in a rush to get in and get out, this is not the place for you. Going home, my wife said "I prefer Tano to Jack Ruby's restaurants. Nothing more needs to be said. Go there now and often.

Normally my review of Tano would be AMAZING. My friend and I usually have brunch on Sundays and Tano is on our normal rotation. We love the area and the food is usually pretty tasty. We were so disappointed this time that we will probably remove it from our normal rotation for a while. We were early for our 11:15 reservation so we decided to wait in the bar area and enjoy a mimosa. We asked for bread since we were starving and it seemed that we inconvenienced the bartender since she stated it world take a bit since they had to put it in the oven. Needless to say we never got the bread. Once seated we waited for our drink order to be taken. The restaurant at that point wasn't that busy. On the main dining side were 7 occupied tables. It took a while to get our food. Seemed much too long for pancakes and bacon. Once our food came we were disappointed because the pancakes were dry. Usually not the case...I order them once a month. So I asked the waitress for more syrup and told her they were dry. She responded "no they aren't.. they are just extra fluffy and absorbed your syrup" I replied "No, they are dry". I also asked for a glass of ice because my tea had none. She brings me a small coffee mug with ice in it. At this point my friend and I were just OVER our experience and ready to go. Like I said...normally the food is right on. Not sure who dropped the ball this time. We are still a fan of Tano just wont be going back for a bit. Time to try other restaurants.

Took a large family group here and everyone seemed to enjoy thier food. Really was fairly good. We had crab cakes and flatbread which were delicious. I would skip on the meat and cheese tray next time. I ordered the southern chicken, which was mediocre to me. I would go back but try something else or just stick with appetizers. Nice atmosphere and location for a dinner date. Great service too! Went again on 4-26-15. Had the stuffed peppers with buffalo ranch sauce and fresh oysters which were both awesome. Splurged for dessert by having creme brule and a chocolate flourless torte which were both delicious.

A dinner date with our friends from San Francisco finally gave me a chance to eat here, and I regret I didn't check it out sooner. The maître' d was great and the service was way, way above average. Food we selected was a cheese and meat board (15 bucks) and we shared a salmon grilled, stuffed with Brie and crabmeat, over rice, for 23 bucks. It was very good to say the least and a bargain to add to the pleasure of our friends and a great meal. Highly recommend this place, another Loveland gem. Situated right by the bike trail, it has a 3-season patio to partake of the sights.

Was here this morning for a business brunch meeting. If you park right across the street at the street parking, know that you only have an hour. But anyway, I was pleasantly greeted and quickly taken to a table for 2. Where we were sitting (right around corner on the left, as you walk in), it's not the best place to have conversation, because you are pretty close to tables around you, and you can hear everything. Hopefully there's more private seating deeper in the restaurant. For 2 brunch entrees, 1 OJ and 1 coffee, the bill came to $24.02. That is actually reasonable for the amount and taste of the food. Everything was excellent, and the portions were large. My colleague ordered coffee, and they were right on top of keeping it filled. The service was excellent and professional. We both ordered the "Sunday Breakfast", which came with 2 eggs made to your liking, 2 pieces of bacon, 2 slices of BIG toast, potatoes, a side of fruit, and a salad. We both asked to not get the salad; the salads were "lunch-type" salads; that didn't seem to go right with my breakfast. But also, that's a ton of food! The food came out in a perfect timely manner, and it was presented beautifully. I usually take pictures of my food, but not when I'm at a business meeting! But my eggs were perfectly poached. Everything as delicious. They were quick with the bill, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a very nice atmosphere, with excellent service and excellent food. Highly recommended.

California white sea bass on peach goat cheese risotto was great. Eggplant Parm was great. Ravioli - meh. Beet salad is awesome. Lemon curd dessert is worth it. Service is outstanding. Quiet place. Casual during the week. Will return.

Love the atmosphere of this place. The blackened fish tacos were excellent and I also had a side salad. Our service was great too! All around loved this cute little restaurant in Loveland!

Not happy to write this because this place was one of my favorites but here we go. We went there recently and only one of a party of four loved their meal. (Usually everybody is thrilled!) And, we were all shocked by the very high markup on modest wines - like 20 bucks for 2 glasses of a wine that sells for $12 a bottle (and they have always been very light on their pours). The service which has always been wonderful - was very slow. We will probably try it again sometime - maybe for lunch. The folks we went with won't. I don't know what has happened but I hope they can rally - it was a very special place.

Just passing through and the reviews here along with the menu appeared promising. Options were good but the portions were small for the price (granted this was brunch) and the food was mediocre at best. Almost no one else was in the restaurant and the service was not as quick as it could have been. We may have been more satisfied by the deli next door...note for next time, if the place is empty and the one next door is packed, opt for the latter.

I had not been to Old Loveland for many years, and a coworker leaving the company had suggested it for her going away lunch. I had no idea what to expect, although I had always loved the charm of Old Loveland, so figured I was in for a treat. We were seated outside under large umbrellas to have our meal, and I was surprised to see table clothes and formal setup on the tables. I figured they would have nothing that I'd be a fan of, because I'm not usually interested in hoitey toitey flavors. Call me a food heathen, but it's true. I'd take a Mc Donalds burger over a Fillet Mignon any day. I ordered the BBQ sliders because I figured that was pretty normal in the scheme of things, and HOLY GOD, they weren't just sliders, they were freakin amazing. They were so sweet and succulent. The texture was so filling, and I wanted to lick my plate when I was done. I'm not even kidding. They gave me a salad with my mean, and even that was great. I literally went 3 times that week after trying it the first time. I can't get enough of that place, and I don't know what people are talking about with the high prices!! Maybe it's because I've only gone at lunch, but good gracious the food quality for that price is astonishing to me!!! It is very well priced in my opinion, especially since I work in the area and spend comparable amounts on lunch at much smaller places with food that is only half as good as Tano's. I drink water when I go too, so maybe that's where some of the markup is that people are talking about, but this is a perfect date location. In fact I would take everyone here that I possibly could, my boyfriend, friends, family, some random stranger that needs a pick me up, the crazy cat lady down the street... you name it, and I'd bring them here. AWESOME FOOD, AWESOME SERVICE, AWESOME EVERYTHING!!! LOVE!!

This was a great find and I am glad my wife and I went. Parking was tricky if you aren't familiar with the neighborhood. We started w Pork Nachos, which were amazing. From eye appeal to flavor, this was super yummy and stifled our small talk as we directed all attention to this dish. We split a beet salad which was also very good. My only complaint is it could have used more dressing, and I do not like a lot of dressing on salads. I got the duck and my wife got the chicken roulade. Both were good dinner portions that were complex and delicious. I spent my time trying different combos. The chicken was super tender and juicy. All in all, this place is notches above so many others. Go check it out.

We love Tano. The owner is in the kitchen and it shows. Try the tilapia on the Spring Menu. It is delicious. Fish tacos are great for lunch. Full bar with great cocktails and a good wine list. We like to sit at one of the high tops in the bar looking out the window overlooking Loveland Avenue.

We ate here for the first time; for the "Taste of Tano" early bird dinner from 4-6pm. For only $18 we got a 3 course meal that was excellent and well worth it - we WILL be back, and soon! That's saying a LOT because it's hard to get my husband to go out, and he was as impressed as I was with the food & service! Course 1 was a choice of soup or salads. We both got the chicken & asparagus soup, which was full of lots of tender chicken in a broth of creamed asparagus - it was so tasty! Also the home made bread, 2 kinds, was served with a soft butter and it was all yummy. Course 2 was a choice of 6 entrees. I got the romano breadcrumb encrusted Tilapia with wild rice, broccolini, and lemon caper beurre blanc. It was the BEST food I've tasted in a restaurant in a long time! My husband got the Amish Chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans and he said it was also excellent. Course 3 was a choice of chocolate torte or creme bruelle, and we both got the torte, which was very good. Our server, Gloria, did and excellent job and was very helpful and friendly too.

The new vegetarian tower is phenomenal! I love it and have ordered it the past two times I have visited. Creamy risotto with essence of truffle with roasted and crunchy vegetables, so good! You will also want to be sure to try out happy hour, of course there are drink specials but the small plate offerings are creative and well prepared. Beet salad, home baked bread with fresh butter dusted with smoked sea salt...I'm hungry again already! Tano's Bistro is a neighborhood jewel!

I had a wonderful meal here tonight. My habit here is if there is a fish special , I order it. I started with a beet salad that had goat cheese and an onion ring and it was superb. The fish was served with a succotash and cheese grits and was outstanding. All desserts here are wonderful. Tano is great restaurant run by a guy who is a local culinary hero.

I think they've made great strides, and are now a very good restaurant. when they first opened a lot of the items were super butter soaked and kinda made you feel gross after eating them. They're really improved! The last couple times i've been, the food has been great. The grilled salad was delicious and the pork shop was lights out! My wife had a nice piece of fish (i forget the type), it was great as well. The wine list is small but reasonable, expect to pay double retail, plus a few bucks.

One of the best meals I have had in years. No wait for a table on a Saturday early evening, although they filled up nicely. The beer selection was very good, especially with the pork nacho app. I had the red snapper, which was excellent. For dessert, they accommodated my request to pare down a listed dessert to just include an herby gelato that was really great. Wonderful quiet atmosphere for a wonderful family dinner. Will return soon.

My only complaint about Tano is that I didn't come here sooner. This place is A+, 5 stars, fantastic from start to finish. I brought my 2 out of town friends for a late dinner on Saturday night. The place is very intimate, and to use my husband's favorite word: "swank". We ordered 3 different cocktails and all 3 were fantastic, I had the white cosmo and it was outstanding. We got the Black Bean Hummus as an appetizer which wasn't what we were expecting - it comes out drizzled over the chips with corn- but really good nonetheless. Now on to the entrees: I got the shrimp pasta which has a little bit of a kick from chili flakes and it was great- enough for 2 (I got to enjoy it for lunch the next day :). One of my friends got the Pork Medallions and the other got the Short Ribs. Let me tell you- I have NEVER had pork cooked so perfectly and it comes with a delicious sauce, and those short ribs fell right off the bone- they were incredible. Both of these dishes blew me away. Mine was also wonderful but the clear winner was the short ribs that night! Our service was wonderful, and we were pleased with how much they knew about wine and knew what to suggest based on wine preferences It is a little on the pricey side but worth every penny for a relaxing atmosphere, superb food and a great experience. Excited to try Brunch here one of these Sundays!

I wish this place was closer to where we live. Loveland isn't really on the way to or from anywhere. Luckily, we were going to a show at Loveland Stage Company (totally worth checking out - good shows at a cheap price) and wanted to find a place close by. Tano's is maybe 3 blocks from there. We made reservations - essential for a Friday night we discovered, as it was packed out when we left at about 7:15 or so. They had a table ready for us right by the window (not as nice as it sounds unless you like to watch traffic but still, it was pleasant). We ordered drinks and relaxed as we perused the menu. I had a manhattan and it was ok, but my wife had a lemon drop martini and it was very well done. Yum! We both had fish entrees for dinner (Lent) and they were quite good. I had tilapia and she had sea bass. Her mashed potatoes were delicious, too. This is the kind of place where the regular entrees are great and they have good specials, too. That's why I wish it was closer. I feel Tano's needs several visits before you can really be sure what their strengths are and what your favorites are. Alas, I think it'll be a while before we return. Unless there's another good show coming to the Loveland Stage Company....

We discovered Tano's a few years ago when it first opened and were impressed with the food and service, so we return at least once or twice a year as we live about an hour away. After dinner last evening we will probably return for an early dinner when prices are lower. I think what bothered me most is the high price of wine. A glass of Gasgon Malbec was $12 (bottle was $45), and I saw a bottle today in a store for $12.99. That's about a 400% markup including tip as restaurants buy wine at discounted prices. I had the ruby trout special which was so sweet with maple syrup I could eat only a portion. My husband had the eggplant which he said was good, and we shared two desserts with our friends who came with us. Pumpkin creme brûlée was excellent. Good service. But why can't a glass or bottle of wine be priced more reasonably?

I hate to write this review because I wanted to like Tano. It is right in the middle of quaint Loveland, OH and the staff was fantastic, however the food left something to be desired. I ordered the salmon which was good (maybe not worth the price, but an overall solid meal). The dish that earned this place 2 stars was the chicken. It was chewy and felt like rubber and was served with "gnocchi", or at least that's what they called the large maggot like chunks of slimy dough that were on the plate. I ended up eating it for my wife, but only stomached a few bites to make her feel better. This was literally the first meal I can remember that I couldn't bare to finish. It was the worst dish I have had in the Cincinnati area. The place is nice and the drinks were great though, just don't order the chicken or anything served with the gnocchi *** disclaimer *** We did also have an appetizer that was pretty good, but even the two dishes that were good weren't necessarily worth their price.

What a gem! Tucked away in a quaint neighborhood. This town reminds me of the drive from Lewis Center on Powell Rd to Local Roots. Sorry for the northern columbus reference. Drinks: house-made limencello Appetizers: mussels and wedge salad. Their version of a wedge salad was unique. First of all, grilled romaine! Then topped off with a delicious tomato eggplant bruschetta. Main course: 1. Butterfish special 2. Walleye special 3. Filet mignon 4. Lamb chops. The clear winner were the lamb chops. Dessert: 1. beignets with fig semifreddo 2. Chocolate banana bread pudding The ending to this grand meal was like watching "Signs" with Mel Gibson fighting off hydrophobic aliens. Weak ending, but thoroughly enjoyed everything else.

We go to Tano about twice a month for Sunday Brunch. Usually we are a group of four. The breakfast items are amazing. My husband will always order the omelette special, and finds it is creative, a change of pace, and delicious. He even tried kale and liked it! Service is good, attentive. Coffee and water refills are frequent. Sometimes there is a wait for fresh coffee, but really, can I complain? I love coffee when it is fresh. The staff is so friendly and chatty, we feel like we are family.

Went back for lunch. Service is again very slow. Hard to get refills. Food was just okay. Pork belly corn chowder and salmon sliders both bland. An hour and a half for sandwiches is a little too long. Would really like to like this place. Decor and ambience excellent.

Have dined there several times visiting family. Always a great experience. When my Dad passed away a few years ago we had a family gathering where Chef Gaetano made the event easy to plan and took care of all the details. The food is always fantastic, service is outstanding. I can't wait until my next visit to Tano's.

Tano To-Go on Loveland Madeira is such a great concept! But everything we got was not good. Very bland in flavor! No seasoning at all. Really disappointing! It was basically a high prices frozen dinner. Their blackberry BBQ sauce is really good though! I'd be willing to try it again, to give it another shot.

This is a great addition to the downtown Loveland strip! I went here with my wife, mom and Grammi and had such a great time. The veggie sandwich was absolutely delicious. My wife's chef salad wasn't spectacular, but still pretty good. I'd go here again. The waitress was very accommodating with my grammi's reduced sodium requirements too.

AMAZING. I was so pleasantly surprised by this place, and I am ready to go back! We randomly found Tano as we needed brunch before taking a ride on the Loveland Bike Trail. Stopped in, and found an amazing Brunch menu. The breakfast burrito was huge, and contained eggs, chorizo, onions, provolone, and bacon served with potato hash browns and a fruit salad. Very good portion size and tasted awesome. I tried the Fish Tacos and they are THE BEST I have had in Cincinnati yet. Fish was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Ambiance was simple, elegant and welcoming and staff was fantastic. Ready to try some entree's on their dinner menu!

After residing in Loveland for two years, we finally tried Tano--takeout. It's a la carte and a bit pricey so we had high expectations. The menu was not extensive but it appears that there is something for everyone, except kids. I had the Keystone Pork Chop with "vanilla sweet mash, seared greens" and a reduction. The chop was good but the mash turned out to be sweet potato that tasted like pumpkin pie (neither of which I enjoy) and the soggy greens (a boiled dandelion salad?) were inedible. My wife fared better with her Tilapia. The fish was relatively good but "tasted like fried chicken." We hope that Tano does well in Loveland as we could certainly use more restaurants. We can't say that we'd go back but we can say that we tried it.

My husband and I stopped in on spontaneous/last minute night out and really enjoyed this place. We had some great wine and good food on a nice night in the nice outdoor seating area. Great service and great food (we had the house salad, lamb meatballs appetizer, and eggplant Parmesan entree- all were fantastic). We would definitely recommend this bistro.

Tano was a lovely place for a lunch break after biking up the Loveland trail from Milford with my husband and friends. The interior of the restaurant is modern and homey, and very clean. Lunch was moderately priced and very good. The server was friendly and very tolerant of our friend's toddler, who kept dropping the placemat on the ground. Though not on the menu, Tano has a kids menu, which our friends appreciated. I had the fried eggplant and portabello sandwich, which was served in two slices of crusty wheat bread (yum!) and came with a choice of side. I got the soup of the day, which was delicious. The only complaint I have about the sandwich was that either the hot friend eggplant or the dressing on the bottom half of the sandwich, or both, made the bottom slice of bread quite soggy and by the end, I had to eat the rest with a knife and fork. The husband had the pulled pork wrap, and of course I snuck a bite and found it tasty as well. All in all, everyone was pleased with the food and we had a pleasant time sitting in the sidewalk patio and watching people go by. Definitely will have to come back for another round!

Though service was a tad slow, we enjoyed our meal and our evening at Tano. The front dining space might have been a bit nicer (for the windows) than the private room where we were seated, but I was very pleased with my gnocchi and broccolini (I'm a sides kind of girl) and with our dessert (fruit tart). My boyfriend's filet and my pork loin were both well prepared, too. I think Tano is a wonderful addition to Loveland, and even though I live 20 min away, I would go back. Tip: There is some street parking, but it's easier to park in the lots just off the square and walk a short ways.

So dissapointed..My son, husband and I went to Tano's for lunch today. The restaurant is close to our house so we go on a somewhat regular basis and though it is not "haute cuisine", we had never been dissapointed. Today the lunch items were great (fish tacos and BLT wrap). However, we ordered dessert to share (the marshmallows chocolate fondant. When we complained that it was dry, the server said she could bring some more chocolate sauce and added that with this desset, it is always a hit or miss. The problem was that it was not a fondant at all and more importantly, it was I am sure a leftover dessert from at least a day or two that they reheated in the microwave and was just awful. They did not even take it off the tab..Further, a fondant is not a hit or miss. You know how to make it or you don't. Not returning anytime soom

First timers. Found this place on yelp. Always passed this place but never thought about stopping in until reading the reviews. Quaint little restaurant tucked in historical Loveland by the bike trail. First off, the coffee was very good and my cup was always full. I had the breakfast burrito which was yummy. I got so much food for what I paid for. It came with a veggie salad, ( I recommend the tomato one) home fries, cinnamon coffee cake (YUM!!!!!!!) and fruit salad. My boyfriend got the stuffed French toast which we both loved. The fruit compote was the perfect balance between sweet and tangy! It also came with all the food stated above (minus the cin cake). Def will come back for brunch! Went on a walk afterwords to burn off some of the calories :) PERFECT Sunday!

Warning: my review applies only to brunch because I haven't been to Tano for lunch or dinner. A friend who lives near Loveland suggested Tano for Sunday brunch. We made a reservation because we were not sure how popular the brunch is, but it turned out not to be necessary because there was no wait when the restaurant opened at 11am. If it were warmer, the front patio would be a great spot to watch cyclists and runners go by on the bike trail, but we sat inside the comfortable dining room, which has a lot of natural light thanks to the big front windows. Service was great: plenty of coffee refills and the chef came out to see how we liked the meal. I had the huevos rancheros, which could have been spicier, but was very good. My friends were happy with their omelets, which looks pretty standard to me as far as omelets go. One aspect of the brunch menu that makes Tano stand out is that all entrees come with fruit, a vegetable salad (today's choices were a tomato-cucumber salad and a broccoli-cabbage salad), and potatoes. At many brunch spots, these seem to be a la carte, which ends up really driving up the bill. I like some variety at brunch, and the sides at Tano are just the right portion to provide you with several flavors without forcing you to eat off of your neighbor's plate.

When people care about what they do, it shows! I was impressed with the phone call I made on a Sunday to see if they were open (they were) and to check the dress code (casual). The lady was so nice on the phone and I said we would stop in. We arrived at 9 pm on a Sunday and noticed we were the only people there. She said had been waiting for us and kept the place open, even though I didn't make a reservation. Very cool! We sat outside and when my glass of wine came, I noticed a sweat on the outside of the glass. A sight so rare I was instantly in love. They keep their red wine at a perfect 58 degrees!! The calamari was fresh (check out the pic) and came with three awesome homemade sauces (orange mustard, lemon caper aioli, cocktail). The salad was fresh and reasonably priced at $4. I ordered the halibut $23 with smashed potatoes and a chipotle corn buerre blanc. It was cooked to perfection and fantastic. I loved everything about this restaurant. The food is great, atmosphere is upscale, not uptight and the prices are very fair. Next time, I'm going for brunch and getting the eggs benedict with filet mignon...

Went here last night with the in-laws at their recommendation and I was pleasantly surprised by the inventive menu and generally solid execution. The wine list was well edited, with very detailed descriptions of each option and the server seemed knowledgeable about the by-the-glass options. The server overall actually was lovely--she was just the right combination of enthusiastic and professional. The front of the restaurant is charming with outdoor seating; only niggle on the interior is a dated-looking wall treatment with shiny gold patches. I started with the house salad--mixed greens with dried cranberries, gorgonzola, and slivered almonds and a light vinaigrette. Nothing I haven't had before, but I enjoyed it. The server raved about one of the specials--Californian Sea Bass (which like it's Chilean cousin is not actually part of the bass family, but enjoys some good marketing), so I got that which came with 3 sturdy stalks of asparagus and a berry risotto. The fish had a good flavor, but might have been overcooked because it was described as 'flaky', but came out more 'steaky'. I wasn't sure about the whole fruit angle--the fish had a berry beurre blanc and then the berries in the risotto (not credited but making cameo appearances were also little pieces of other tropical fruit--pineapple, mango), but was in the mood to try something new. I think it worked overall--my only critique would be that the sweetness of the sauces really clashed with the bitterness of the asparagus. I normally love asparagus, but was forced to eat all of it before the rest of the dish because when I tried alternating/mixing, it was not at all pleasant. Dessert was a shared creme brulee trio: blackberry-lemon, espresso, and lavender-ginger. The lavender-ginger was the standout for me taste-wise. The espresso one had a soupy texture, but the other 2 were firm and custardy as they should be. Nice caramelization on all three. The bill with gratuity was over $100, but a good value I think for what we got. The menu is varied and creative enough, along with the daily specials, to merit another try at some point, but probably won't become a regular destination, mainly because of it's out-of-the-way (for me) location.

First off, if you are from Blanchester, this place is NOT for you. Please don't say the food is good but give a 1 star review because they don't have the same variety and prices as your beloved McD's diner. The food here was amazing and my filet was cooked perfectly. Very cool atmosphere and awesome customer service.

The menu, restaurant decor and welcoming staff, along with previous reviews, held promise. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our meals. The breakfast potatoes were undercooked/crunchy, the eggs in the omelet were rubbery, the blueberry pancakes tasted sharp, the orange juice was from concentrate.... The service, however, was great. (It was great to see Downtown Loveland bustling!) We love locally owned restaurants and hate to be negative. We are hoping that our feedback will help the restaurant improve.

This great local restaurant has consistently good food and great service. Last week, we made our reservations on OpenTable for a Sat. Not paying attention to the mistake that OpenTable had set the date for Friday, instead, we showed up one night after our reservation. Corey, the manager at Tano, made sure that we were well-taken care of even though we were 24 hours late.....Table for six? No problem. Even though they were filled to the brim with customers... Our table ordered the flatbread. Amazing. The entrees we ordered were steak, chicken, salmon, and the well-loved tilapia. All meals were great. Our friends, at Tano for the first time, promised to be regular customers. We enjoyed ourselves in this restaurant so much that we looked around at 11 or so and realized that the restaurant was empty and all the chairs had been stacked, floors cleaned. The staff at Tano told us to stay as long as we wanted, despite the fact that they could go home. We hustled out, but realized how gracious they had been while waiting. We also love Take Out Tano. Potato dishes are very good, vegetables are very fresh. Thank you, Tano and Corey, for helping us have a very good meal despite the HUGE mistake we made with our reservation. We will be back again and again.

Have been to Tano for dinner but first time for lunch. Just as good as dinner. I had the shrimp and crab melt, my friend had the salmon sliders. Both very good! Service impeccable as always?

I have been here for lunch and dinner and it's all good. They have a great happy hour, top quality food and good service. Not really a place to take kids, although I have seen them in there. Home made lemon ice cream was sinfully good.

Had a wonderful meal at Tano's again last night. The Ahi Tuna was awesome and the wife's salad was excellent. Tano's has the feel of a small town bistro but the menu and taste of a big city restaurant. Great addition to the Loveland and surrounding area.

Love the wine bar here! Nice atmosphere could use some different decor though (just not feeling it). Very nice staff. I love the vegetarian napoleons here they are delicious! The creme brulee is very good too! The fall/ winter creme brulee sampler was a disappointment though.

After initially browsing the entrees I found around ten options not including the specials offered that night. Of the entrees listed only two of them looked appetizing to me. I ordered a glass of Malbec and Tano's stuffed salmon. The bread and butter brought out before the entree was average. But the wine (and selection of wines) was great. The stuffed salmon was much better than I expected. It was stuffed with some type of cheese (brie I believe), bacon, and a few other things. The reason my rating is 4 out of 5 is for the price which seemed a little high.

I expected more. My fish was over cooked. Firm fish does not equate to well done steak. Hard to miss that badly. Grilled Romaine was not very tasteful. Portions were small and prices were high to high for the quality and size. Good location, nice ambiance, free parking, and reasonable wine list were positives. Not sure I will go back here again. I am not usually one and out but we have many favorites where consistency justifies meals in this price range.

Went here for Christmas eve. Food was excellent and innovative. I highly recommend the pulled chicken 'cake' appetizer. Wow. Service was very good, attentive, and friendly. This place is excellent. The night we were there was extremely busy due to a few large groups so the service wasn't fast but the server was great and everything we ate was incredible. The menu is frequently changing but I had their grouper over spinach and bacon risotto. It was absolutely incredible. Another at our table had the osso buco and raved about it.

Nice job on lunch today. My mother and I got the fish tacos and my wife got the chicken tacos. Comes with a side and we all got water (it's just what we like!!). Total bill was $34 with tip. Service was excellent and the employees/owner were very very nice. Great looking place inside and out (think OTR buildings, downtown older structures). We went around 1pm and the front area was busy, bar was empty, outside was empty (had just poured down rain) - we asked if we could sit in the back area given we had our little baby with us and they said absolutely which was nice. Parking was not too bad but I can imagine it could get a little tough to find a spot nearby on the weekends with the bike trail, Paxton's, the deli next door, etc. We will totally be back soon!

One of the best places I've eaten in Cincinnati. Great, inspired food! The menu is very appetizing and creative. We had brunch there and everything was great. Everything was fresh and homemade. Service is decent but nothing to brag about. Our waitress warmed up to us as the meal went on so it did get better.

Second visit to Tano. With reservations, DH and I were seated promptly despite a filled dining room. Waitress---Ashley--- was great--smiling, professional, helpful. Ambiance pleasant, though I don't understand the significance of the paintings of musical instruments. Thought the flatware and glassware was very cool! Ashley offered us a taste of Malbec, which we did not like, and the Bordeaux, which we loved! Started with the gorgonzola, bacon and apple flatbread, which was tremendously tasty, although ours was burnt at the edges, which was NOT. Husband had house salad---said it was very fresh and delicious---I had the goat cheese and beet salad---generous amount of goat cheese, which silky tartness contrasted beautifully with the sweetness of the beets. DH ordered Bleu Steak with a bourbon, bacon and bleu cheese sauce and I ordered the Grouper Special with risotto. Can't say enough good things about DH's meal---the steak was perfectly cooked, with a nice sear on the outside and juicy inside---tender enough to cut with a butter knife, yet not mushy. Crisp roasted potatoes and bright broccolini. I didn't like my Grouper Special at all. I took one bite---DH shared a bite, and we both looked at each with THAT look. Ashley appeared, asked about our meals, and when I told her I did not like the grouper, she went into "rescue mode". In a moment, it was whisked away, she asked me for another menu selection---I chose the shrimp---and the owner came out several times to check on my satisfaction. Which was HIGH! The issue was so well taken care of and their solicitude so sincere, the disappointment of the grouper totally was unimportant. Plus the shrimp that reappeared before me was wonderful---stuffed with crab and bacon with delish garlic mashed potatoes---ummmmm! So overall, it was a wonderful experience because I felt valued as a customer and ended up with a delicious meal---although next time I will order the Bleu steak---DH's was soooo good and we'll definitely be back.

Great experience!! We just moved to the area from Chicago and are thrilled to have such a great place nearby.Tano's ambiance, menu choices, food and service were all wonderful. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and sweet. We had the red fish special and sole special, after the freshest calamari we have ever had. We plan to come back later this week and hang out at the bar for happy hour. love it- thanks Tano! This place reminds us of our favorite spot in Lincoln Park. I would eat there everyday if I could. :)

Love it- have recently added new menu items, excellent wine list with many options by the glass, the halibut we had the other night was fantastic! We started with a special app, oysters Rockefeller, and Tano's twist is fabulous- maybe sausage or chorizo? Our server wasn't sure, but I could have eaten a platter of them for my entree! We love Tano, had only one less than great experience there and that was for brunch, we'll go again and give their brunch another try.

We've dined at Tano's twice and absolutely enjoyed it both times. The atmosphere is upscale, yet comfortable, service friendly and food is absolutely delicious. Our steak and seafood dishes we're very tasty and the lamb (special) was unreal. Looking forward to our next trip there.

What a great place. This is my kind of restaurant. A nice, local, non-chain place with a creative menu. The service is attentive without being obnoxious. I also held off on 5 stars just on principle, but reserve the right to upgrade my rating as I am definitely going back.

Great new restaurant in Loveland. Parking is not a problem since the bike path is right there. We had the Seabass and Salmon and both were very good. The seabass melted in my mouth. Pricing is reasonable for the quality of the food and service. Give it a try for your next date night.

Really glad a nice dining place came to Loveland. Atmosphere is warm and romantic. Reservations are definitely recommend esp on the weekends. The menu is not that big, but unless you are super picky, you'll find something to your liking. I almost always have the special. The service is great, and wine list is good as well. There is now a nice bar with plenty of seating, as well as outdoor seating. Very nice and reasonably priced! The garlic mashed potatoes are amazing... As well as the creme brûlée. The flavors change :)

We go to a lot of restaurants both in the city and out of town but I have to say this was a fabulous meal! I had the special of Tile Fish(similar to Grouper) and it was spectacular! Everyone in our group of 6 had a different fish and all were excellent. Service matched the food. This will be one of our first choices for dinner from now on.

My husband and I have eaten here 4 or 5 times now and I'd say that we've been pleased each time. We love the fact that downtown Loveland has a nice place to grab a drink or a decent meal on a whim. My only gripe is the noise level. The tin ceiling reflects the laughter which tends to be emanating from the big table in the back each time we've been there for dinner. That being said, at least you know your fellow diners are having a good time - and the outdoor seating is great when the weather permits.

A great evening; part dressy, part quaint, small, warm, and friendly. Short menu, but with great variety. Outstanding food and service. We had the scallops (with risotto), and the chicken (with fantastic mashed potatoes)... The chicken was a great "comfort" food meal... served in a bowl with potatoes and green beans. 4 large diver scallops... huge and tasty. A great new spot to try in Loveland.

Once again an amazing meal at Tano's. Invited two guests from Evendale who vowed to make the trek across town again. Enjoyed the eggplant ravioli, lamb and scallops. All outstanding. Appreciated half price drinks, as the table got to enjoy two excellent bottles of Italian red. Place was packed on a Tuesday night, so make reservations.

Have eaten here twice now and I'm not impressed. Both times the food was barely warm and service was incredibly slow. The last time we ate there, everything was so overseasoned it was nearly inedibly spicy. Even the clam chowder. We began to wonder if they were trying so hard to make the food taste, they killed any chance it had of being good. It's really too bad because there is not another restaurant like it in Loveland, but we won't be going back.

Reservations are recommended as it's a very popular place. It's small, but very nice with a separate bar area. The food was good and each dish was uniquely presented. The service was outstanding, as well.

Great new restaurant in Loveland. Parking is not a problem since the bike path is right there. We had the Seabass and Salmon and both were very good. The seabass melted in my mouth. Pricing is reasonable for the quality of the food and service. Give it a try for your next date night.

Just passing through and the reviews here along with the menu appeared promising. Options were good but the portions were small for the price (granted this was brunch) and the food was mediocre at best. Almost no one else was in the restaurant and the service was not as quick as it could have been. We may have been more satisfied by the deli next door...note for next time, if the place is empty and the one next door is packed, opt for the latter.

LOVE!!

One of the best places I've eaten in Cincinnati. Great, inspired food! The menu is very appetizing and creative. We had brunch there and everything was great. Everything was fresh and homemade. What a great place. This is my kind of restaurant. A nice, local, non-chain place with a creative menu. The service is attentive without being obnoxious. I ordered the roasted beet salad and duck. Both were excellent and exceeded my expectations. I am looking forward to trying brunch there. I also held off on 5 stars just on principle, but reserve the right to upgrade my rating as I am definitely going back.

An added bonus was the chef Andrew came to our table, hung out with us, then offered us a free dessert! Highly recommend looking forward to going back again

  • Shelly L.

Great new restaurant in Loveland. Parking is not a problem since the bike path is right there. We had the Seabass and Salmon and both were very good. The seabass melted in my mouth. Pricing is reasonable for the quality of the food and service. Give it a try for your next date night.

Reservations are recommended as it's a very popular place. It's small, but very nice with a separate bar area. The food was good and each dish was uniquely presented. The service was outstanding, as well.

Just passing through and the reviews here along with the menu appeared promising. Options were good but the portions were small for the price (granted this was brunch) and the food was mediocre at best. Almost no one else was in the restaurant and the service was not as quick as it could have been. We may have been more satisfied by the deli next door...note for next time, if the place is empty and the one next door is packed, opt for the latter.

Love this place. It's exactly what I need on a Sunday morning outing with my love. Superior Service! Thank you Corey! Great food. No problem preparing it exactly the way we like it. Highly recommended!

Very quaint place for an excellent meal. I have eaten here numerous times and have never had anything but excellent service and great food. Trust their wine pairings as they're always spot-on.
