Would have loved to try this place but was greeted with this sign when I showed up...if you are gonna have a business..staff it so you don't have to close for a whole week..ridiculous! I don't see this business staying open too much longer.

If I could I would give this place 4.5 stars! We were a little hesitant about coming here but I am so glad that we did! The decor inside is pretty cool it all has to do with the armed forces which we thought was very cool, I mean the name is patriot steakhouse and tavern so it is very fitting. The service was amazing our waitress is was very attentive and helpful since it was our first time coming here and there menu is huge she helped us out a lot. The food was very good I had the chicken finger dinner with a side salad and steamed broccoli. The chicken fingers weren't your average chicken fingers they were HUGE and breaded with there signature breading served with homemade honey mustard that was to die for! The side salad was very good also served with homemade ranch. The steamed broccoli you could tell was fresh steamed broccoli not the stuff you get from the freezer section like some people serve. Jon had the bbq bacon western burger which was also HUGE. With a loaded baked potato. He said both were delicious. He said the potato tasted like it was cooked to order. They have dinner rolls that were available upon request and those were okay nothing real special there. Our only complaint would be that I think the steaks are a little over priced for the area that this place is located. However they also looked huge and delicious. We will definitely be back to try some more!

I can't really put my finger on it, and I'm not against paying $41 for an 18oz Ribeye, but not here. Nice place, but it's more tavern than Morton's. I also think i could be getting too old ... if I'm paying that much for steak, if like my waiter to appear as though they are out of high school and not so immature as to mock laughter when you approach the table (2 of us) and we're laughing. Unless your paying, it's probably better to just play your role. Food was fine ... but that's just it ... it was fine. Staff needs to listen better, order was no blue cheese, not covered in blue cheese and it is expected that it should be fixed and it wasn't. Better choices exist.

Living in Lebanon this restaurant was the bomb. It came as a complete shock that they closed their doors. I've never run a restaurant but I don't understand why they didn't consider more price increases or reaching out to the community for extra support. If they had a rally to raise money I'm sure they could've. Really disappointed - please make some adjustments and give it another chance...

First impression of The Patriot a clean and well decorated to the patriot theme. First impression dissolved quickly as the restaurant has 10 or 12 TVs all tuned to Fox News. Fox is not ordinarily a problem but it is hardly appetizing to see video of smoking bodies victims of a suicide bomber and women crying next to deceased loved ones. Not exactly an appetite stimulator. I asked the waitress if the owner was a Tea Party guy and she replied "No, he's a republican". As a moderate conservative I must say she may be right. Now on to the food. I had the surf and turf, a filet and scallops. The steak and the scallops were cooked to perfection. Asparagus was the side dish and it was tasty as well. The baked potato served with the meal was huge. Frankly I would have rated this restaurant four stars for the food but the morbid video took the air out of the experience. I would recommend removing the TVs from the dining area. Fine dining should be about your company. Keep the TVs in the bar area for sports.

I'm all for supporting local, independent businesses. However, for the price, the atmosphere, and the service, I'd rather pay to go to Jeff Ruby's or Morton's. I ordered the ribeye, which was over-salted and cooked until it was a sad, grey strip of cow meat. When I mentioned it to the waitress, she shrugged and didn't try to recify the situation. The sides were even bad: the broccoli was under cooked, so it was essentially raw, and the rice pilaf was 50% rice and 50% rock salt. It took forever to get refills on my drink (just soda), and the waitress was more concerned about texting near the kitchen then doing her job. The atmosphere is also....unique. The Patriot Steakhouse must be Tea Party central for Lebanon because there's nothing on the televisions there other than Fox News. It's great to hear Bill O'Reilly going apoplectic while trying to gnaw through your grey, salted steak. Overall, it's a hard pass.

Tonight was our first visit to the Patriot Steakhouse. We started with a huge platter of nachos, then tried several different options on the menu. Huge BBQ burger, BBQ Trio, Shrimp trio, and the fantastic chicken tenders. Everything we tried was exceptional. The service was great, even the manager stopped by our table to check on us. Overall a very good time, we re already talking about a return trip!

This is an above average non-franchised local steakhouse. So in my humble opinion, this makes it far better than an outback or lone star. The food was good but nothing a must eat. Go check it out and support local businesses.

My wife and I ate here for a Steak Dinner. The steaks were well cooked (medium-rare), atmosphere pleasant, and overall it's a pretty good experience.

Went there to get a good steak, but looking at prices, was a little steep. Settled for ribs, which were cooked correctly, but sauce was too sweet for me. Would like to have a few choices of rub or sauces. Wife had a petit filet, which is really petite. Amazing that it was actually MR. Covered with a thin buttery juice, more like water. Had the house merlot, which was a big mistake, as the bottle must be kept near some heat or no one buys it, as was very oxidized. Go for pricier wines or stick with draught beers. Might try again, but not impressed at first visit.

I really like this restaurant. I like the atmosphere and the fact that they play Christian music and are (obviously) very patriotic! I have always gotten great service and their cobb salad is AMAZING!

Finally! A local place to get a great steak! We visited Patriot on a friday evening and the place was packed. Even so, we were seated promptly and immediately greeted by a server. I ordered the ribeye steak medium rare and to my surprise it was cooked perfectly! My wife ordered the filet and she loved it. We also ordered a house salad and baked potato and both met all expectations. The vibe of the place screams steakhouse with its rustic charm. It was much nicer than what it might appear on the exterior being on a corner of a strip center. The only ding that we had was that the price of the steaks were maybe 10% higher than you might find at say a Longhorn or other mainstream steakhouse but that was okay with us. So, if you are looking for a good steak and/or all American meal, you won't be disappointed with Patriot.

I've been to the Patriot a few times now, and I have always had a good experience. Being less than wealthy myself, I've only had a steak two or three times before, but they were delicious when those rare (pun intended) situations did occur. Normally I have the chicken tenders or one of the pastas to save a little cash; they have never disappointed either. What I like about The Patriot is that you have the ability to eat well at whatever price range you are wanting to fit. The soups and salads are not that pricy, but you can go crazy and drop some dough on a big ol' steak. Nice local place that supports the troops and community. I strongly recommend it for anyone in the area that wants to have a nice outing at a nice restaurant.

Love it. I've had one bad experience (management not the food or service) but that doesn't keep me from writing a wonderful review. The food is consistently delicious! I recommend the filet and scallops. Everyone should give them a shot. It's worth the money I promise. The wine flights are a great way to try new wines without a big commitment.

Just visited last week on a whim. I sat at the bar and someone helped me after about 10 minutes, while three servers leaned on the wall talking. Apparently only the barkeep can go behind the counter, but it's not the end of the world. I had the pork chops since it was one of the only items with a clear price. They weren't bad, but a tad salty, and that seems to be a common theme. The food came out quickly, my baked potato was ice cold, but the barkeep was nice enough. There was a lot of standing around by the staff and a lot of people raising their hands to try to get help. The restaurant itself is decorated in military banners and assorted patriotic items. It's a cool theme. i don't see any reason to dash back. High prices, sub-par food, and inattentive staff. When I got home, I farted the star-spangled banner.

Went back to the Patriot but will never go again. I ordered a filet and shame on me I did not look at the price, $43! Jeff Rudby's charges that and for a bigger and thousand times better filet. I ordered the filet medium and it came back bloody raw. They recooked it but forgot to bring my sweet potato. They also forgot to bring the sweetner for the tea. I let the host and owner know and they compared their prices to Jeff Ruby's . Patriot Steakhouse, you are not Jeff Ruby's! After I paid, they offered to give me $10 off. I told them I had already paid and the host looked at me with a stupid look said, oh well! She never offered to get me the $10! When we got to our car in the parking lot the host and waitress chased us down and said I had not paid. I told them I gave them $80 and then the waitress said, oh yea, he did pay me but he did not tip me.LOL You can't make this stuff. up. I told them to take the $10 they were going to take off the bill and give it to her if they want. Worst, most arrogant experience I have ever had at a restaurant ever. Chased down in the parking lot to pay for a meal I had paid for which was awful to boot. Not only bad service, bad food, but complete dumb asses! I will never ever go back and will not have good things to say. Everyone there needs extreme customer service training. This place was never great but this was a nightmare.

Have eaten at The Patriot twice now. Both times, my steak was delicious and the best I've had anywhere in years. I always order my steak medium. Everywhere else I have to send my steak back because it is always too rare. My steak was cooked exactly the way I like it at The Patriot. My side items were also very good. It was a busy Saturday night. We were told the wait might be 40 minutes, but were seated in 10. The waitress was very attentive and brought everything we asked for in a matter of a minute or two. More expensive than where I usually go, but well worth it. Love it!

I love checking out a Steakhouse! I read the other reviews ( and on other review sites) first so I will mention some of the same things just because they did and I have a different opinion! This one is different, from the outside you wonder what it is gonna be like because it is on the corner of a strip mall style building. The parking lot was full but it was prime time Saturday night during the basketball tournament games about 2 weeks ago. The wait was almost nil. When we walked in I was a little surprised by the atmosphere, not a bad surprise just different. It was slightly dark (ie tavern) there was music and tv. The atmosphere is nice with the patriotic theme but also minimal. Which is good as I did not need a big extravagant atmosphere of table clothes and candles to have a good steak. Great Service, knowledgeable waiter. Our waiter came by right away and explained their menu and their steak table tents as we said we have never been here. This was good because even though I checked the menu out online I was a little confused on the steaks with no prices. The steaks are priced by market value and by grade USDA Choice Angus Prime. So you picked you style and then decided the grade. Right now beef if high so the prices seem a little high 20s-45. He offered highlights when I asked for further details on a cut or combo. However they were well prepared seasoned, juicey and done right. I liked the seasoning and thought it complemented the steak well. (nice additives too oscar, mushrooms, etc) The rest of the menu was priced right for seafood, pasta, and entrees, the bar and tavern food might have been a smidge high but it is a steakhouse. There was a nice selection of foods that were on the menu. I had the Ben Franklin Surf n turf which is filet combo'd with the grouper(catch of day) and got oscar with sweet potato and salad. No complaints! My husband got the BIG porterhouse with salad and baked beans. They tasted like actual "baked" beans not just out of the can! Now to address some comments I noticed To me it seemed to be very similar to a steak style supper club. I will not compare it with names to a downtown club or another supper club but it is that style of food! It is not just a restaurant that you happen to order a steak at. This is a cut and grade above the chains and compare able to steakhouses. The seasoning did not taste salty maybe they changed it. The restaurant its self is set up like a bar restaurant you see tables as you enter that are in the bar area and it opens out into the rest of the restaurant. We were seated a whole row away from the bar and I never noticed the bar during dinner. (except when hubby asked for the score of the basketball game and realized there was a tv overhead and to the side). I asked for mine med rare it came med rare to medium however the steak was for a combo so only 4 oz there is not much middle to get this temp perfect. The porterhouse was to be the same and compared to mine it was a little less done but I would call it med rare with a bit more lean to rare at the bone. Hard to compare a 4 oz with a huge steak. As a steak lover I look at it this way: Bone-In Steaks may appear one full temperature less near the bone Filet Steaks may appear one temperature less in the center Steak Cut here is USDA Choice & Higher or Angus Beef or USDA Prime There was staff standing around at the entrance conversing with people waiting for a table and every once in a awhile i noticed two or three waiters talk at the "register" but they moved on and seems to be busy for the most part. Our steaks took some time to come out but I know that it is not a simple quick thing to cook a steak. But bread and the salads were spaced out nicely. Our waiter mentioned that our steak would be out momentarily just when we thought they should have come out and it was only 5 more minutes until arrival. Regarding the "grease" both steak came out in a puddle of juices and some oil/grease. I did not notice it with the flavor and with my small filet I used my pieces to drag and absorb this up, was tasty like juices. The price range really depends on what you order. The sandwiches menu seemed around 12, starters a little hi but did not need to get them I got enough food from my plate. Entrees 12-24 Steaks 23-43 Seafood 18-30(?) I priced with 3 $ but should be listed as $20-50 halfway in between the moderate and spendy. I did not notice the negative items the the low star posters did. Not sure if there were changes in staff or policies but I am going back. Hope this helps!

I chose 1 star because there was not a "0" star option. My girlfirend and I visited their restaurant for a special occasion. Upon walking inside the restaurant, I immediately felt as though I was inside a bar with a restuarant; Not a restaurant with a bar. She opted for the petite filet and I ordered a T-Bone. Our steaks arrived and hers was good. Mine, on the other hand, tasted like a big chunk of rock salt. We spoke with the "bar manager," because there was no restaurant manager on duty, we were told. She was very apologetic and asked if I wanted them to take my steak (which I had already cut into bit-sized pieces), and cook it some more. I chose to order a new steak and selected the petite filet, since that's what my girlfriend had and it tasted ok. Nearly a half hour later, after she was finished with her meal, my steak was brought to me. I had her taste it to see if it resembled the cut of meat she'd eaten. She got a disturbing look on her face, and spit the meat into a napkin. I tried a small piece and had the same reaction, along with the same result! I might add that, although I ordered the meat medium, it was returned with a slight gray tint on the outside and it was quite rare approximately 1/16" into the cut. The "chef" came to our table and stated, "We always overseason our steaks. The owners tell us that if we aren't getting 4 complaints a week due to overseasoning, we aren't seasoning enough. It's what they do at Longhorn and that's why we do it here." Well, sir, we didn't choose to eat at Longhorn, or any other "chain" steakhouse. We chose a locally-owned restaurant because we assumed you took more pride in your food quality, service and atmosphere. I think we were wrong and I'm completely positive we made a poor choice. We post a review on their Facebook page, and the "chef" responded by telling us that it was a blessing that we won't be returning to his restaurant. In another post, he referred to me as a "pig," and in yet another, he resorted to calling my girlfriend and I "baffoons." I am 44 years old, and I have NEVER been talked to or treated like this by any service-oriented establishment. I'm not typing this to tell you to avoid the Patriot Steakhouse. I'm telling you this because I want people to know what may happen if you choose to dine there.

We had dinner there last Friday. My NY strip 'steak' was delivered sitting in a puddle of grease. It was cooked perfectly, but had no taste other than the overload of salt on it. No beef flavor at all. M wife's pork tenderloin was overcooked and bone-dry (ordered med-rare). There has been no reply to comments posted to their website so it is obvious that customer satisfaction is zero priority. Over-priced with poor food. We won't be back.

My wife and I ate at the new West Carrollton location last weekend. Both steaks were full of fat and gristle. The manager came by after the salads came out and everything was fine, but when we complained about the steaks, she was nowhere to be found. Nothing was offered by way of a discount, remaking the steaks, or anything. The only explanation was that that's how the steaks are. Really, because I've had better steak at Golden Corral. And I've had a similar customer service response as others on this site. I complained on their website and got no response. I posted comments on their facebook page and they were deleted. But there are plenty of good comments left. Go figure. Stay away!!

It is a very nice place and is very supportive of the armed forces, which is nice myself being in the Army guard. Extremely clean and very friendly staff. The only thing keeping me from a 5 star rating is it is quite pricey...but they do have good food and a large selection of alcohol.

The food was very good and the service was excellent. We both had the prime rib. It was well prepared and good quality meat. Draft beer was very reasonably priced. We went on a Saturday night and it was busy, but there wasn't a significant wait for a table. Steaks are listed at market price and ranged from $17 to $24 on average. We will definitely be going back.

I've been in many times with our friends, one of which can be high maintenance. They listened to her special request, and took good care of her with a smile. The food is great, the servers are fantastic, and the bartenders are very friendly. They are definitely a great addition to Lebanon.

Go figure. Stay away!!

Decent steak. Good wine selection but limited on draft beer.

My husband and I like to eat here on Monday or Tuesday because Jay plays wonderful background piano music. Prices are a bit high but portions are huge. A meal here meals half goes home. Good food and good service.

Would have loved to try this place but was greeted with this sign when I showed up...if you are gonna have a business..staff it so you don't have to close for a whole week..ridiculous! I don't see this business staying open too much longer.
