Lucascountyhousewife here! At Herbie's Place! The best time I have had in a long time. This HUGE food is magnificently huge with low prices. The ambience is so fun! Big restaurant too! Located in a tiny town it feels like it's in a Metropolitan area. Cool mix of families and singles. Great date night place. The outdoor area has sand and swings for barstools and feel like we are in Aruba. Awesome speakers too! All the servers a so nice and happy! We just polished off the Ribeye Steak Sandwich and Shredded Chicken Quesdilla and it was OF THE HOOK! Sparkling clean restroom too! We,love love love this place!!!

Our server was very attentive without being a pest. She showed us around, started the train for us to see, changed the music (since we were 1st customer--idk if that's standard policy), later offered to make a take-out drink for us. The bacon on our blt was maybe 6 full slices, and for $5.99 we got the full sandwich, lots of chips, & a cup of soup. The French onion soup was phenomenal, the chili had too many onions for my taste, and they were only partially cooked. The ladies room stall needed a hook for purses, hard to hold it & go. Decor was train motif with a beach area feel in outdoor seating. I highly recommend for relaxing setting & a good value, good food.

Stopped at Herbie's by chance one evening and was surprised by the place. The weather was nice so the outdoor patio area was chosen to be seated. This has a beach party atmosphere to it and there was live entertainment. So far so good, however trying to get noticed by an employee/server was frustrating in the beginning. Then once we got to order things began to look better. The ribs and pizza served to our table were fantastic. If the service was better I would give Herbie's another star.

Awesome small town place. Family friendly Full bar & kitchen. A toy train brings out the children's food. Great smoking patio with bar, swings & sand! Just like the beach! A must visit!

Herbies Place was a great experience for our family. The kids loved the train that brought out their food. We had chicken chunks, pizza, and philly steak sandwich. All were very good as were the fries and onion rings. Beverage prices were reasonable and service was great. I live fairly close and have driven by Herbies thousands of times but I am glad I finally ate there!

I live in Haskins & have ordered take-out from this place twice because its down the road. First off when you walk into herbies there is no employee standing at the front so you have to search for someone which happened to me both times I went to pick up my food. The first time I ordered take out I just ordered a large pizza & holy cow $18 for a pizza? Not to mention it wasn't that great at all! The 2nd time I ordered from there we got a spicy chicken sandwich, a chicken club, fries, and bacon&cheese Tots. The fries were cold & discusting!! The chicken club was sopposed to be a sub but it was on a bun & they put ham on it why IDK? The lettuce looked like paper & the tomatoes looked like they were bad. It was so gross! The bacon&cheese tots looked like something I could make at home. We will not be eating herbies again!
