Writing this review so ownership can convey to their employees how important customer service is to a business. We just ordered two espressos over ice and were served attitude & a rude look from a young girl at the front counter. Beans are well roasted, but I echo previous reviews--take the coffee to go!!!

We have visited several times and the toasted panini sandwiches are incredible! Great atmosphere and coffee. It has always been amazing. However, today for the first time we tried the breakfast sandwiches and they were just terrible. Super cold. Big chunks of semi-microwaved egg. Center of eggs were like ice. To our surprise, it came with tomato, lettuce and mayo on it and were not toasted. Left feeling nauseous. We recommend for lunch but not for breakfast.

Scribblers is a wonderful gem in Geneva. Our family moved from a large city to Geneva a few years ago dearly missed the wonderful treats they offer. We were very excited when they opened and was NOT disappointed. Everything is delicious and made from scratch. They did a beautiful job renovating the building inside and out. Even though I recently moved to Madison, I still stop by for their roasted coffee or homemade scones.

What's not to like about this Great little coffee shop? They make all of their baked goods and soups and sandwiches from scratch... Even the rolls for the breakfast sandwiches are homemade right there! even open on Sundays!

I could not be more excited to have a coffee shop here in my hometown of Geneva. I recently moved back after living on the west side of Cleveland for the last 6 years. During college and grad school I would take time at least once a week to head to a coffee shop (local or chain) and I am so glad I am able to continue that tradition as I come back to Geneva. The atmosphere here is so open even with the amount of seating in the main shop. I come up to grab a latte, cinnamon roll or lunch depending on the time of day I stop in to stay a while. The items are priced decent enough (you will pay the same or more at a chain coffee shop) that getting a snack with your coffee won't break your budget. I come in here to get some work done and there are enough table with outlets nearby that I can bring my laptop and plug in when I stay longer than my battery can last (I'm usually here for 2 hours). The service for Scribbler's is great. I can tell that a lot of school aged kids are working here but they are all so very professional and kind that I forget they are so young. Half the time they walk my coffee over to my at my table as I am setting up-that service is something I love! The hours are FANTASTIC- 7 AM to 7 PM everyday! Can't get much better than that! I am able to stop in before work and grab a coffee to go. I love Scribbler's and highly recommend it to anyone that loves coffee or the coffee shop atmosphere!

Geneva, you finally have great coffee! Before going to Scribblers I read about it in Geneva Pride, and was both excited and skeptical (being a loyal Harbor Perk customer). Today I was early for work and decided to give it a chance. I was greeted by a clean, welcoming home-like atmosphere, friendly staff, and wonderful aromas. The pastries looked fantastic and almost tempted me, but I was on a mission for a latte and nothing more. I was served quickly and with a smile, and perhaps most importantly, without the attitude you may receive at other cafes, especially chains. So, all that was left was to sip... and... Outstanding! Thank you for the great pick-me-up Scribblers, I'll be seeing you very soon.

They have more room here than they know what to do with. A large space with lots of light. It would be great to set up a laptop here and get loads of work done, but we were just passing through. Sadly, the coffee was a disappointment. I tried the Sumatra and the Ethiopia and both could have been brewed with twice the beans and half the water. Perhaps the espresso drinks would be better. This place seems like it has potential. The baked goods looked impressive. I'm hoping that my experience was a glitch and not representative of what they do, or could do some day.

Cute, clean coffee shop with awesome food. The hot chocolate was the best I've ever tasted. Great atmosphere and quick service. We will definitely be going back.

An adorable little coffee shop with delicious-looking baked goods. The quiche was light and wonderful and the salad was full of fresh veggies. The cafe is charming.
