I've been here a couple of times for drinks, but recently visited for lunch. The menu had a decent variety of sandwiches and burgers. I ordered the beer-battered fish sandwich, and it hit the spot. They also had a decent beer selection to accompany the meal. Biggest gripe was the speed of our service. It took a while once we sat down for the server to stop over, and then we sat for a long time (over 20 minutes) at the end of the meal waiting for her to bring the check. I don't think Brazenhead would be my first choice for a meal, but it's a great setting to enjoy a few beers either inside (very cool interior) or outside on the patio when it's nice out.

one of my favorite places in all of columbus, great for gatherings and hanging out with friends, patio is awesome when the weather permits. drink selections are very good and the food is very tasty for the bar scene

We love the burgers and live music on the patio. Seating is somewhat of a debacle...wander all three levels until you find evidence of someone paying their bil, then stalk their table and be the first to swoop in like a vulture. Parking has improved since the city added a lot across the street just be careful about parking in the LIBRARY; they tow.

Went to this restaurant for the first time last night with my family. The first thing I noticed was an attractive and seemingly authentic recreation of the interior of an Irish pub. It was a warm and friendly setting, and the Irish band playing out on the patio made it even better! The restaurant was very busy, so it was a bit difficult finding seating for a group of 5, and the service was a little slow. But the music and atmosphere helped to make the wait much more enjoyable. Once our food got to us, it certainly made up for much of the wait. I has a bacon cheeseburger, and it was cooked perfectly and delicious. Other members of our group tried the fish and chips, and the pulled pork sandwich. Both of them spoke very highly of their choices as well. The meals weren't too expensive - a dinner for five came out to just over $70.

This Brazehhead pub obviously seems to be doing something right, since it is almost always full. And on Thu. nights there is live music and outdoor seating is fun especially during the warmer seasons in Ohio. However, on the negative side, often, there is no one to receive you at the restaurant, and you always feel like you are disturbing people to find a place to seat yourself. Also, the servers are often very busy, and may not get to you for a long time. The food in general is just okay, although, the burgers (when cooked to the right temperature) are quite juicy and excellent. If you can find a place to sit during a Thu. or weekend evening, this is a fun place to go.

We went to Brazenhead on Saturday night around 7 o'clock for drinks and apps. Our waitress was so absent that it took 10 minutes to even get a drink order in. We ordered fried pickles and chips the chips came out within 10 minutes but the pickles took 30 minutes to come out. Downtown Dublin really needs to get their act together multiple restaurants are not doing well with their service.

We came here on St Pat's Parade day, to soak in the atmosphere of the day. Was not disappointed with that. Plenty of good times, live music, etc... Only thing that keeps me from rating this place any higher is the gouging... $5 cover to get into a place that was already over capacity ? Also, $6 Guinness "specials" ? I'd like to go back when its not a "holiday" and give them another try. Maybe get a table and try the food. I'll revise/rewrite my review after that happens...

The burgers are awesome...and beer on draft... Place is most of the time pretty packed but it feels good to be there. The bar downstairs is my spot when I'm in town and hang out with friends. Update: They have a gluten-free beer :-)

I decided to try Brazenhead with a friend for happy hour on a Monday. We walked in and the sign said seat yourself. No one greeted us when we walked in and the employees didn't seem thrilled to have new customers. We walked around the place for a while and seating was pretty limited. There were only a few tables (maybe 6?) on the first floor, all full, and the loft was closed for a private party. We decided to just sit in the downstairs area. While walking around aimlessly many employees watched and did not offer any help or assistance with seating, even those that were sitting on the bar stools. Once sitting in the downstairs area, a group of girls came in through a back door telling us this particular area was closed. Fed up with the bad service, we decided to deal with the pouring rain and walk down to Dublin Village Tavern, which had phenomenal service and was well worth the walk in the rain. I'm a frequent flier at happy hours, and needless to say I will not be returning to Brazenhead.

Amazing, juicy, thick, perfectly cooked burger. Glad I went for the Garlic Burger. And chips instead of fries? Come on! I would have thought no, but I'd have been wrong. Excellent as well. Perfect patio on a spring day in Dublins downtown. Immediately across from the Cbus Metro library, so grab a good book and head over for a long lunch break. I hear we'd nights the burgs are half price. That's absurd and near magic. Huge drink menu with good selection, which you'd expect at an Irish pub. Good service. Seat yourself.

This place has a great patio and a decent beer list, but unfortunately, the positives end there. On multiple occasions we have had terrible service -- the staff seems to not care about their jobs or take pride in their work. I wanted to host a get together there upon my graduation from OSU and no one seemed interested in helping us plan this event -- we ended up giving our business to the Dublin Tavern down the street. The food is average and the attitude of the staff isn't worth putting up with this place, even with their ideal patio.

I didn't even get a chance to walk through their front door and I will never will. I called to make a reservation for my husband's birthday dinner and the person who answered the phone told me that they do not take reservations..that's fine..I asked if there are any bands playing and she said yes. I asked what kind of music will be played to which she replied, she wasn't sure. Silence. I ask, well who's playing and she actually says, "I can't remember its on a piece of paper up stairs..Silence..REALLY? Whom ever answered the phone on 8/16/14 in the am, you cost your owner money, a rant on Yelp and on all of my social media outlets because you do not understand the concept of customer service and your attitude of me putting you out for asking a reasonable question of who and what type of music is playing at the restaurant YOU are employed by.

The Brazenhead is a pretty cool place. It has a very obvious Irish heritage sort of feel to it and matches it with a decent beer selection and good food. The last time I was here I ended up ordering the Reuban. The bread, meat, and trimmings were all done spot on and were ingredients of a reasonable quality. I very much enjoyed the sandwich and paired it with a couple of rounds of Guiness and Bourbon Barrel ale. All and all I was very pleased with the experience, as were the co-workers of mine that had journeyed over here for lunch with me. The salmon is another dish that should be given a try. I had ordered it the first time I had lunch here expecting something mediocre. Lucky for me though I was very surprised by the level of flavor in the dish as well as the care taken in its preparation. If you haven't had it before definitely order it.

I was fairly disappointed with my experience here. First off, the building is poorly laid out, with mix and match seating areas that create bottleneck aisleways, getting you bumped in the back of the chair every time someone walks by. The service when we went was terrible, the waiter wasn't even interested in helping us (seemed more interested in march madness games on TV), and didn't respond when I ordered, prompting me to ask if he had even heard me. I was going to order a second round, but it was checkout time by the time he came back. The food, while good looking on paper, is just upscale bar food. The duck sliders I got were dry. Prices were expected for the area, but I left uninspired to ever try this place again.

Feel bad for the place. They are no longer connected with the other Brazenhead in Cincinnati. I don't know how they can honestly call themselves an Irish restaurant without the Irish staples - especially Shepherds Pie. The place was dead this evening. Met the manager - he stated that they are still trying to find their identity after separating from the other Brazenhead - true Irish restaurant. Had the grilled chicken and pesto sandwich (yes at an Irish restaurant) - it was okay. Chips that came with it were undercooked. Looking forward to being back home with my real Irish restaurant....the REAL Brazenhead!!!

I've always found brazenhead to be a decent place to go, until recently. I went on a very busy day, and found the drinks to be egregiously overpriced. Easily double the price of other pubs in the area. I bought one round of drinks and cashed out, leaving my signed receipt in the receipt billfold. I tipped 20% in cash. When the charge cleared my account, it was exactly 18% higher than my copy of the receipt, which I still had. I called brazenhead, and was told they automatically charge 18% if they do not have a receipt, or a tab was left open. They said they'd look for the receipt and call me back, which they never did. I hope the bartender who lost my receipt enjoyed their 38% tip, because they've lost a customer!

First time. Interesting layout. Not user friendly but it didn't bother me. I thought the place had charm. Service was good. Food was good. Family got hamburgers. Hubby said better than average, 7 out of 10 rating. :) I had the combo salad & mushroom quesadilla. The salad was my fave. It had craisin, pine nuts, gorgonzola cheese with balsamic dressing. Woudn't drive across town just to go but if in the area would come back.

Unbelievable beer list. Great staff. Cool decor. Basic pub fare with interesting seating arrangements. Looks like some great group booths and smaller 2-4 person hideaways. We were in for lunch, so I can't speak to the night life but I'd hit it up again without hesitation.

I was pretty content with my experience at Brazenhead. We arrived at 5:30 on a weekday, and were able to get a seat right away. As others have mentioned, the layout is definitely confusing and odd. The beer menu here is great - I was really happy to find a seasonal page with tons of great fall beers, like Southern Tier Pumking. The food was decent - I had the Reuben and my friend had the Brazen burger. Everything looked and tasted fine, nothing out of the ordinary. The service was good as well - our waitress stopped by several times and the other servers seemed to be taking good care of the other guests as well. I will certainly come back.

Good atmosphere and patio along with a varied selection of beers. Would take this over any cookie cutter Irish pubs.

"A" for Atmosphere. Come for burger and drink on Wednesday for their special. Now let me say, the Burgers here are awesome, the beer is cold while the home made potato chips (make sure to ask for the dip) are to die for. Experiment with other appetizers as well. Used to go here with the Hyatt G. H. Team. This place is best when It is hot and sunny and you know how much I love the patio, one bonus to this patio is that the patio is tree & canopy covered which sits street side in up-town Dublin. Also, plan on sending a scout ahead of time to drink beers on the patio while hawking a table to sit at on Wednesdays. - Much Love p.s. I only review restaurants that I Like or Love, so for recommendations visit my profile.

Really friendly and effcient staff couldn't overshadow that fact that their beer prices are ridiculous! My happy hour priced Blue Moom was over $4 and after happy hour jumped up to over $5. I can understand the $5.50 after happy hour, but over $4 during happy hour. How lame. Probably the lamest happy hour ever. I am sticking with Old Bag of Nails where Happy Hour actually means something and I can get my $2.50 Blue Moon in a large glass and half priced apps. Also, the Dublin crowd is much different than Grandview so, I'll recommend Grandview for a more chill, less stuffy atmosphere.

Stopped in for a while for a work friends birthday. I did partake in a very tastey long island, a bit too strong for the outing. I do enjoy a good Long Island, but boy oh boy did this one just HIT ME! Overall great flavor. I did have a burger on this visit, it was just a bit on the dry side. I don't think I actually finished all of it. It was just "ok", but not terrible. I've had far worse and some better. I has pleased with the experience and would return/recommend.

Went out to lunch with a friend today now that I officially have a big girl job and get real lunch breaks. Awesome. Got the blue burger w/o chips but subbed the balsamic salad. The burger was good, but definitely cooked well beyond medium rare... I do wish they would list the side dishes on the menu. Nice atmosphere, would love to come back for happy hour.

This place is great. The bar reminds me of the pubs that are over 100 years old in Manhattan with the thick wood and dark atmosphere. It made me feel right at home. It's an added bonus that the whole menu is amazing! The fish and chips, chicken salad sandwich, and reuben are all delicious. You can't go wrong! Not to mention they have a great bottled beer selection.

So on a Monday night at a quarter to 10 I was in Dublin trying to find a nice little place to have a couple of drinks. I was closest to Matt the Miller's and unfortunately they closed early so what's their is loss is Brazenhead's gain. I wasn't sure what to expect but as soon as I walked in I felt comfortable. I was greeted not only by the bartender but a very friendly customer. There were only a couple other people in there so it was quiet. I also noticed a little patio area which is going to be nice in the summer time. The thing I was most excited for was the full bar! I'm a whiskey girl so having a nice selection of whiskey sold me on the place. I also had the pleasure of visiting the Grandview Brazenhead and it's equally as impressive. I noticed too they have quite the selection of beer. I don't drink beer but some of the cans were "pretty". They're the typical pub with sports on the TV's and the music wasn't bad. The bartender was very attentive, a little sarcastic but I like that. The patrons were down to earth and relaxed, definitely the kind of place where you could go by yourself and end up leaving with a handful of new friends. All in all I will be returning again very soon and trying every selection of whiskey and scotch(minus Wild Turkey). And trying out the food. I also hear they have a band on Saturday's I believe?

Brazenhead is one of my favorite places to go when I just need a burger and a beer. Well... I don't really drink beer but they have Strongbow which makes me the happiest of campers. You HAVE to order the garlic sauce- either on your burger or on the side to dip your housemade chips in. Any of the burgers are totally great but my classic order is a burger, done medium with swiss and mushrooms with garlic sauce and extra garlic on the side. On Wednesday nights they have $3 burger night. You'll struggle to get a table anytime between 6 and 9 and you'll end up hovering over people as they are eating so you can swipe their seats as soon as they pay their bill. There's no host to seat you so it's just luck of the draw that you're hovering at the right table that will eat and leave quickly. Seating is every man for themselves! I've often just taken a seat at the bar and dealt with the pushy people getting their drinks over your shoulder, but they serve their full menu and access to getting your own drink refilled can't be beat. Normally the business and bustle of places like this would be really frustrating to me, but for some reason at Brazenhead this doesn't bother me. Service can also be slow, mostly because they can get so busy, but again for some reason it just kinda works here. You can sit and relax with your drink and some good friends. They also have a great patio area with live music during the summer on some nights.

The place is really, really noisy. Our server was friendly, but when we asked for just a few more minutes to decide, he didn't come back for about 15. The food came out fairly quickly, but the fish was a little greasy and wasn't as crispy as fried fish should be. It was served with potato chips (not fries, as you would expect it to be - although the menu does indicate that fact, fries aren't even an option). The slaw was ok, not much flavor other than heat. Also, he suggested a beer to my friend that was $40/bottle, and quite large. Luckily, he realized the price and size and that it would probably not be something she was interested in before bringing it out to her. Overall, the experience wasn't terrible, but I won't be in any hurry to return.

We went to Brazenhead on Wednesday to try their $4 burger night and we were very satisfied! We sat down & got a beer (the draft list is a bit short, but they make up for it in their bottle selection). We also ordered an appetizer (fried pickles), however, the fryer was down so we got the mushroom quesadilla; it was phenomenal! We all ordered our burgers, each adding different toppings and when they came we were very pleased. I'm intrigued to try other things on the menu. We sat in the back room because there were several of us, I am assuming that is a coveted spot because I noticed the same 2 people checking to see if we were there and damn near ran us over to get into it as we were leaving. My ONLY qualm about Brazened is they have a sign that says "not service on patio", it was a lovely day when we went & chose that location because they had a nice looking patio(not knowing we couldn't get service there).

Christmas cheer was held at this Brazenhead for the 2014 holidays with our company staff. Good times! The food we had was tasty and kept hot in steam trays (not always ideal but our group kept eating so nothing went cold or overheated). Selections included chicken-kabobs, quesadilla made with spinach and portabella mushrooms and cheese (say YES!), large and wide variety veggie plate with good dill and ranch dips, a huge fruit plate too. The get-together was held in the basement and I thought it was plenty roomy for our cast of 20 or so attendees. Seating was a bit sparse but that was due to food service plating and our gift giveaways which took two booths out of commission. Downstairs is a nice atmosphere and has its own men's and ladies restrooms - a plus for private parties. It's not fair, really, to lump parking in Dublin in with Brazenhead but.... that's what you get is some congested, drive-around, wait for someone to pull out parking. I learned later you can find spots if you turn down the little road adjacent to Brazenhead and park by the river. I opted to park on the west side of 161/Rte 33 through old Dublin and walk. No biggie but all of old Dublin is parking inadequate at night between 4:30PM - 9PM. Brazenhead in Dublin is fun. I liked the main floor bar area. It's all good placement and has a nice pub air about it.

Came here for restaurant week and was disappointed. The service wasn't that great and the food was just ok. While I understand they have a "seat yourself" sign, I was not even acknowledged by the staff while I stood waiting for about 5 minutes for my date to park the car and join me. The Irish coffee we ordered came out almost cold, and I wasn't a fan of the processed-cheese tasting dip that came with the soft pretzel appetizer. The pretzels themselves were very good, and my date enjoyed his fried fish, but the house-made chips were not cooked evenly and I had several on my plate that were pretty much raw potato slices. We were also charged extra for asking to replace the horseradish sauce on my burger with mayo. We will definitely not be returning.

My overall review for brazenhead was 3.5 / 5 stars. If I only had the burger it would have been 4/5. The burgers are top notch and always tasty. The appetizers were very unimpressive. Can't believe those frozen tots cost $10. I wouldn't even have them on the menu when you have the 101 beer kitchen tots up the street to compete with. The hot chicken appetizer had me excited, but was missing any heat or tinge of cayenne that is described on the menu. Make it hot! It's a good spot but stick to their burgers and chips.

I paid with credit card and left the tip on cash. They took the right to charge additional 20% on my credit bank as a tip, so I ended up leaving double tip. Very disappointed.

"Irish" bar..seems like every city has a Brazenhead now...so not so original name. Went there with the fam after the Irish fest. They didnt have a hostess, the dude (with a straight face) told us to wait for a table to lcear and grab it. Soooooo basically my fam, and out 2yr old stood in the dining room waiting for a table. Rediculous.. Normally i would be OK, I would just order a beer and wait but when I tried to do that the bartenders completely ignored me. We finally got sat, food took forever. We had to ask for everything like napkains, more beer..etc. At night it gets extra douchy too. We found 2 other WAYYYY better Irish restaurants to kick it at...Slan Go Foil Brazenhead...

I have not been in Columbus for long and this place often comes up when I ask about places to try. I finally gave it a shot. First I could not believe the prices of the beer. I can hardly ever excuse 4.15 for a bud light or yuenling. The only time I expect that kind of price is at a downtown club or fine dining establishment. This place was neither. I ordered a burger medium well and it came out scorched. I ate it and never mentioned anything because the bartender never asked me how it was. In the end 15 bucks out the door for a very sub par burger and one domestic pint. I don't mind paying if I get a quality product or at least good service for my money. I will most likely not be returning to this place I was very disappointed.

If you want good service, then don't come here. I went here with my friend for restaurant week and our waiter was not polite nor welcoming what so ever. For example, I was trying to find myself a seat and after sitting down at a dirty table- I said thank you to my waiter for clearing it and she didn't say a word back. I've never been here before and came in with an open mind, but the experience we had yesterday was definitely not that great at all.

I want to like this place; it's near my home, it has a nice patio, the menu looks good, but I've been there twice recently and both times the service was terrible and the food was bad. Our entrees arrived before our salads, we had to ask multiple servers for silverware, food was not as ordered. On both occasions, the place seemed severely understaffed.

We went to this location on a Saturday around 6 pm and the service was terrible. I even had to clean the table off myself with a wet cloth. Nobody seemed interested in helping us....worst service in a very long time and my wife suggested we will never return

It's official - I don't like this place anymore. From the infernal parking situation to the lack of seating, to the dismissive service, to the stuffy-as-hell clientele, to the overpriced beverages - I don't really see a reason to patronize this establishment any longer. Yeah, Brazenhead was cool for a while, as it's in quaint downtown Dublin, and you're drinking at an Irish pub in Dublin (get it?) and the place kinda sorta looks authentic, but my last visit soured me on the whole experience. I strolled in 'round happy hour (about 4:30 p.m.) and the bar was semi-full, and the lone female bartender saw fit to continue the rest of her 10-minute-long conversation with one of the servers while I stood there at the bar like a slab of meat with mittens. She finally took my order - I got a Smithwick's draft - which was a whopping $4.75. I'm not sure what could make anyone remotely "happy" about this price, but whatevs, I'll drink it if it's put in front of me. The bar area is laid out ridiculously (only one large table, with several stools lined up against a table/rail next to the bar, which itself only has room for about 15 people). So, people walk into this room with one table, but the sign up front says "seat yourself" - so what you have are a bunch of wanderers strolling in off the street looking for seating that isn't there, creating a log jam at the front and in the bar area, which becomes increasingly unpleasant as the place begins to fill up. Also, on a Friday night, the entire downstairs seating area was closed for some sort of private party, which put even more strain on the seating situation and it wound up becoming downright untenable in the bar area. The servers were clueless, not bothering to tell people that the downstairs was closed until they walked all the way down the steep wood stairs and had to haul themselves back up into the seething cauldron of the bar area to stand and wander some more. One more Smithwick's was all I could stand in here, especially considering the clientele consisted of dudes in suits drinking out of bottles of Smart Water and a bunch of other douches with briefcases and Ferrari keychains laid on the bar. Not my scene.

Stopped in Saturday night around 9. Told to sit where ever you want. Picked the upstairs and a couple of menus were tossed on the table. Server said she would be back in a minute. Waited 10 minutes and never saw her again. Probably friendlier to locals and maybe an ok place, but will be a one time stop for us.

Not a great experience. Of course, I knew they would be busy on St. Patty's day but please! Treating PAYING customers like cattle and being overly rude and downright nasty was uncalled for. They had two thugs at the door collecting money just to get into a crowded and filthy bar and restaurant. The beer and liquor prices were jacked way up for the holidays and NO apologies were made. I have never been to this place before and will NEVER return based upon the way me and my guests were treated. I've read the other reviews for this place. I must have stepped into the Twilight Zone because the staff was the worst. After calling Corporate Management to apprise them, I was totally blown off. So, this is one group of restaurants I would NOT recommend, EVER. There are too many other quality establishments in Dublin and Central Ohio without supporting a chain of restaurants that treat customers so poorly.

Only go on Wednesdays for cheap burgers. Beware it will be crowded and a party of more than four is not advised if you want to get seated in a timely manner. Beer is not cheap and there are better bars for drinking. The burgers are all good and worth the discounted price. I would not pay full price for them. The burgers come with chips and there is an upcharge for other sides.

Brazenhead is an Irish pub in downtown Dublin. The food is good, I usually get their grilled chicken sandwich or a burger an soup. The bar itself has a great selection. The service is average. Overall: A rather average joint with good food. Nothing to write home about.

Mmmmm Brazenhead! I love this place. It is always delicious and the atmosphere [well, the outdoor dining patio] always makes me feel so happy and comforted. I love coming here in the summertime, ordering a few beers [they make a mix of Guiness and Blue Moon called a 'Black and Blue' which I adore], getting some appetizers, and lounging in the sun. My favorite food to get here is the pulled pork sandwich. It has a zesty kick and comes topped with slaw and red onion. It is heavenly and definitely on my top 5 for pulled pork sandwiches. I will continue to order this over and over. All of their sandwiches come with their authentic chips [actual potato chips], and they are phenomenal. I like to drench mine in malt vinegar. It is a perfect meal for lunch or dinner. I have also tried a few of their soups, and every single one has been delicious. Clearly homemade, which I appreciate. Also, their prices are so comparable that I couldn't imagine anyone going to a chain when you can eat local for the same price here. In fact, we got out cheaper than my applebee's review, and it was 1000% better. Their service isn't always the best, which is why i'm giving this place four instead of five stars [believe me, i truly adore coming here]. Sometimes the service is just off. I can even go so far as to say I have had an actually awful dining experience here. But I drank enough that it was okay looking back, haha. Just make sure you stay on your waiter. The only one I ever had a problem with was a male with sort of longer brown curly/surfer hair. He was downright awful. This place is perfect if you like pub food and if you dodge that guy you can be assured you will have a great experience!

First, I like this Brazenhead location better than the one closer to town. Wednesday happy hour is the time to go. Pros: They cook the burger to order; however, I would err on the side of rare. Great beer selection Really friendly staff Cons: Sometimes the place can be ridiculously crowded on Wednesday Parking can be annoying and you'll get ticketed if you park at the library.

There aren't a lot of cool places to hang out and drink in Dublin Ohio (unlike Dublin Ireland.) If this place were in any other city, I might remove one more star, but for it's location I think it's fantastic. I would not go here for a meal. Basically, the food is average at best. However, you can't hold that against them because it is an Irish pub, and the food in Ireland is terrible. They have a good selection of beer, but realistically, if you go to an Irish pub to drink you're probably just going to get Guinness or Harp anyway. They also had a decent cider, but I forget which brand it was. As far as the location is concerned, if you are in Dublin, it's very easy to find and convenient. The setting is nice and they building has an authentic Irish pub feel to it inside. It's also good when they have live music, although the night I went the band was a bit on the sad side. Personally, I would much rather hear a band that covers The Pogues at a place like this than a band that covers Enya. The only real down side of this place is the parking situation.

Over the past eight years I've been here countless times. I've never been to Ireland, but this looks pretty Irish to me :-) This place is great for drinks. Food is average and kinda hit or miss. Their scotch collection is killer though!

Very cool Irish pub in the heart of Dublin. Went here when NCAA championship was on...great service and food...if I am back in Dublin, OH - I will be sure to stop in here... good scotch / whiskey selection....good beer too!

I was in town for work and had dinner here one night. I had the fish and chips and it was quite tasty. We had some apps before we got started, calamari and pork skewers. The calamari was not so hot, but the pork was very good. I have been to Brazenhead before, but it was purely for after hours. It has a good Irish bar feel. and they serve up many of the great Irish ales.

After enjoying a fine dinner at Oscars, we headed to Brazenhead at the recommendation of our Hampton Inn desk clerks. Heck, they did us right with Oscars so who were we to question? Besides, it was right next door and Sarah-with-an-H recommended it too! Brazenhead is an Irish pub with a beautiful wooden bar imported from Ireland. And yes, and they make a great black and tan. Offering a great variety of bottled and draft beer as well as a wine list and full bar, there is something here for everybody. Not to mention an inviting atmosphere for regulars and out-of-towners alike. As the previous reviewer noted, Wednesday nights are burger nights (I read about it on the menu). They offer a nice selection of pub fare that I hope to have the opportunity to try one day.

Wednesday specials are sweet! A buck off draughts and $3 burgers..and the burgers are really good. Pair that with some of their house fries on special and you've got a pretty sweet deal.

This is a review of the bar only. I've eaten here several times during the day and thought it was ok, but tonight I reluctantly agreed to meet people for drinks. What a horrible place :( It was super packed, and the majority of patrons were loud obnoxious totally over-dressed douches. Ok so I freely admit I'm no hipster nor someone who frequents bars on a regular basis, but I really don't appreciate getting aggressively elbowed and jostled repeatedly when I go to get drinks from the bar. If that's the norm, I'll pass, thank you. I give it 2 stars for the fact that their gin and tonics are strong, they offer a variety of gins, and they at least actually gave me lemon when I requested it.

A very cozy, warm and friendly feeling pub. This isn't an old pub, but the decor and layout feel authentic. When it is busy, a secondary bar opens downstairs. Very good selection of quality Scotch whisky, decent beer selection, and your normal bar food menu. Wednesdays are four dollar burger nights, so expect. Big crowds. Service is as warm as the surroundings, and food is good enough to satisfy and pair with the quality drinks.

Stopped into the Brazenhead for a couple of pre-dinner drinks. It has a great patio, that due to the great weather was full, so we sat indoors. :( It is an Irish theme bar, nuff said. The best part about this place is that they serve Old Speckled Hen, my favourite English real ale. Next time you are in Dublin, pop into the Brazenhead for a Hen.

brazenhead is a great pub. first off, they have a great selection of microbrews and plenty of imports from europe. wednesday nights are burger night where three bucks gets you a really good burger with real potato chips (thick cut with the skin on em still). this place as an amazing atmosphere, too. a very authentic irish pub.

Absolutely reminds me of a real pub across the pond. The seating is close and intimate and the service is great! The food is excellent for a pub and I would recommend any of the appetizers!

Limited food menu, service was either understaffed or inattentive. Food was decent! Nice patio though!

Brazenhead is an Irish pub in downtown Dublin. The food is good, I usually get their grilled chicken sandwich or a burger an soup. The bar itself has a great selection. The service is average. Overall: A rather average joint with good food. Nothing to write home about.

Running around with our heads cut off to find anywhere to sit, got rare when asked for medium well, terrible music and very loud atmosphere. I didn't expect much but got less.

I will sometimes go here after work with my coworkers. We can walk from our office. I love the Irish atmosphere and I always try to sit on the patio when it is nice.

Upon further communication with the NEW and WONDERFUL GM, Mark, all problems were resolved to my satisfaction. Mark was great, willing to work with me to make me a happy customer, even though our party wouldn't be held at The Brazenhead.

Good burgers and the staff are really friendly -especially the bartender. Great selection of beers and sitting outside on a May evening was perfect! Can't wait to go back and try the fish and chips.
