Not sure who would vote this down but this restaurant is hands down one of my favorite chains and this location does not disappoint. The menu offers almost any type of food from Asian to Italian to traditional American! And then to top it off, pick from a wide variety of cheesecake for dessert. The meals are a bit pricey if you're on a budget but you get large portions and get what you pay for!

Came here for the first time on my birth day. I always heard the menu and portions were huge, and that turned out to be true. I had the chicken madeira, which I acknowledge as really good and well made, but I guess I just didn't care for what turned out to be madeira sauce. Can't blame the restaurant there. Had the avocado roll for an appetizer and oh my G, that was good! My friend ordered the jambalaya and I think I'll have to get that next time. The waiter refilled our drinks quickly and there was really classy decor on the inside. I will make a reservation for the future.

I ordered their chopped salad minus the bacon. Needless to say I returned to my hotel room to find raw chicken. Yes RAW bloody chicken on my salad, no avocado and no plasticware as requested. Gross!!!!

Gluten free menu had a shrimp fusilli dish that came out with the pasta so under cooked that it made al dente seem soft. Didn't have time to cook it again so we elected to just eat it. Manager didn't even comp it but thought he was being gracious to give me the $7.95 cheesecake I ordered free vs the $17.50 meal free. Not impressed with that choice but I needed to eat and go. Customer service opportunity could have been amazing but epic fail, in my opinion. Too bad cuz I usually LOVE this place.

I'm a big fan of cheesecake factory I don't care what you say. I love the variety and I love the cheesecake. And boy do they really have both. The menu is almost a magazine and the cheesecake list tops probably 30 varieties. Most of the food is average, but there are definitely some gems. I highly recommend the pork chops, the lettuce wraps, and the salmon. All are great and very filling. Now for cheesecake I'll leave that up to you. All that I've tried are superb. Bottom line you'll be stuffed after dinner still have room for dessert, and pay more than what you were hoping for, but still be happy and fat.

I've been hesitant to review but after a 3rd time: I'm firm on this rating. While the waitress (Erica) was awesome and knowledgeable, she couldn't make up for the obnoxious 20 page menu full of advertisements and 30 min wait on a Friday at 1 pm. My partner and I ordered the salmon carpaccio, Vietnamese Tacos, and Ahi Tuna Tempura Roll, Spicy shrimp and our friend ordered the Cuban sandwich. Salmon carpaccio was served with dinner plate sized sliver of salmon, red onion, avocado and spicy mayo. Tasty but too many mushy elements together. The appetizer of 3 Vietnamese Tacos was supposed to be a sticky bun with pulled pork (akin to bahn mi). The bread (DRY) was similar to white bread, also the pork was dry. I could keep going on... The menu tries to cajole one into thinking it is worldly and experienced yet is is really just an "Americanized" version of most things.

Not going to go through what the Cheesecake Factory is, this place is no different than the rest. I found it to be very busy on a Friday at about 6:30. If you go there right before then, you could sit down right away. The staff was very quick and as usual, a great selection of cheesecake.

The food here is good and the portion large, but they totally miss the boat on customer service. It's never what it should be. Yesterday I was at the Greene and craving a cobb salad, and maybe a slice of that heavenly Lemoncello Cake. I went in and asked them at the front counter where to order carry out. They pointed to the cheesecake counter and said "he will take your order." Great. I stepped over...."he" turned his back and walked towards the kitchen. Maybe picking up on order? I'll wait. Five minutes later I moved back over to the front counter and asked if there was another way to order take out (maybe at the bar?) because "he" was gone. "OH, no...but I'll get him for you....in a minute." She ditzed around a few minutes, and then went out on the patio. WTF? I'm done. Cobb salad be damned. This is just the longest in a string of bad experiences here. Tables are too close together and they just don't understand customer service. There's a lot of good restaurants at the Greene....don't waste your time here.

I've never been here without a reasonably sized group. With that said, the few times I've been here we've seemed like an inconvenience to the staff....how dare we go into this restaurant...order food...and offer to pay for it!...Shame on us! Another peeve of mine is the menu....the bible is a quicker read...showcase your best dishes and alternate with supporting items seasonally...we don't need a 30-page novel. The cheesecake is mediocre at best...

This Cheesecake Factory is like any other you might find in the U.S. Good food and yummy cheesecake. It isn't anything super special, and I would tend to agree with others that the customer service is a little hit or miss. If you go on a busy night expect to wait, and expect the hostess station to be a little confused. The wait staff is good sometimes and I have also had some very poor service (usually when it is busy). I will continue to eat here, because it seems like my friends always choose it, but it isn't my first choice at the Greene.

This Cheesecake Factory brought up my expectations from the low standards I saw at the St. Louis one... I thank them for this because I love cheesecake and was crushed when this chain disappointed. But never fear, this place rescued my feelings for Cheesecake Factory restaurants... Despite a 50 min wait in the early evening on a Saturday, the service was efficient/average waiting for the food order, the waitress was funny, nice, and attentive. The thai lettuce wraps were amazing, appealing visually and healthy in the best way possible... the pineapple upside down cheesecake was so creamy, tangy and perfect.

Ugh... had to lower my rating. Came back for dinner the other day and the customer service was atrocious. Food was cold and heck if our waitress cared about refilling my drink. I really noticed how close together the tables were this time. We will probably not be coming back.

The wife and I usually go to The Cheese Factory every couple months and always enjoy it. We would go more, but we are trying to watch our girlish figures, save cash and whatever excuse we can think of not to go :) A group of 6 of us went here on a Friday night to have a few drinks and a nice dinner. As with any Friday night, the wait was long, about 75 minutes. We knew this going in, so we put in our name and went across to The Pub for a few drinks to wait (more on that later). Once we got sat, we had a good waiter who took care of us the entire night (Collin?). The service was good and we managed to go through a few of the baskets of bread and received our food in a manageable time. We had a little of everything, meatloaf, shepards pie, salads, fried mac and cheese, and BBQ pizza. My bbq pizza was a generous size (wouldn't expect anything less) and was tasty... Everyone enjoyed the food and was able to take enough home to have for the next day.. We managed to get out pretty cheap, for under $200 for the 6 of each, each drinking more than enough.. We will be back.. eventually.

Just outstanding. The service was great, the food was great and the cheesecake was out of this world. It was a busy Saturday (homecoming) and the wait time was better than expected. About a half hour. Love this place!!!

My husband and I came in for just a bit of dessert...and ended up getting dinner too hehe. My husband got the warm crab and artichoke dip and it was okay. It wasn't as good as the description made it sounded. It was very oily on the top- kinda gross. My Vietnamese tacos were great though! They were like mini Vietnamese sandwiches, which I love! Soft buns, succulent pork, and crunch veggies- yum! The best part was dessert though- it's the whole reason we came in! We got the chocolate raspberry truffle and it was Delicious!!! I love love Love chocolate raspberry mousse desserts and this was prefect! Rich chocolate mousse + tart raspberry = taste bud heaven! Next time, I'm getting a whole cake to-go!!!

The food was good. However, the wait was crazy. We were prepared to wait 45 min for indoor seating. But we were not prepared for people that decided to skip the wait and sit outside.... when the rain started, they started moving those people inside ... in front of the people that had been waiting. Further, someone came in, wasn't given a "buzzer" but got preferred seating. The wait under those conditions were not pleasant. On a positive note, our server was excellent and the food was good.

The food is fairly consistent at cheesecake factory. There always seems to be a big wait there as it is a novelty restaurant. The food serving sizes are huge and usually enough for the next meals lunch. I think the restaurant a bit pricey.

I wouldn't say I completely dislike Cheesecake Factory, but it is definitely an over-hyped and over-priced chain. The current (no doubt fleeting) public fascination with the place reminds me of how popular Chi-Chi's was in the 80's (I do have fond childhood memories of those nachos...) Cheesecake Factory's menu is so bloated that it comes spiral-bound. What does it say about a restaurant whose menu is as large as a bible? "Yes, I would like to order the Bang Bang Chicken and Shrimp, Psalm 22, Verse 26, please." The food is generally hit or miss, undeserving of the higher price point and excessively long waits. And what of the cheesecake? It tastes like any other good cheesecake you've ever had, nothing more, nothing less. The Beavercreek location also has a poorly conceived bathroom location, right near the cramped front reception area. So during peak times, one must meander through the hordes of people standing around waiting for their group's name to be called. My girlfriend said the women's restrooms were packed and the commodes weren't flushing at the time of our visit.

We got off the freeway in search of some healthy choices and right away we spotted this outdoor mall in the distance. In the middle of this mall/town (it includes phony "street" parking!) sat Cheesecake Factory, a middle class staple. We were relieved to find that they now offer a groundbreaking 'Skinnyliciousâ„¢' menu for those of us who are trying to be health conscious - but in reality it's the same grease smothered meal, only cut half in size. Innovative! Great atmosphere - the place was abuzz with teen moms discussing Miley's latest controversial VMA performance, while a senior citizen birthday lunch was going on at the other end of the restaurant. Overall great place to spend your afternoon while keeping it Skinnyliciousâ„¢!

Let me preface this review by saying, we were going out with a large group (16 people). Sometimes you have to go where the group wants to go. We got there at 7 and had a 7 o'clock reservation. The hostess said she could not seat us until half of our group arrived. Luckily they walked in the door right after us because we have a 2 month old and we needed a place to sit to feed him. Once we had half the group the hostess told us that they only had room for 14 of our 16. We could wait until there was room for the other two or we could sit down and when the other table finished their desert we'd have room for all 16. We opted to go ahead and sit, but I never noticed any issues with the number of seats at the table. The restaurant is loud, but that's a good thing when you have several kids under 10 in your group. I ordered the eggplant sandwich and subbed in sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were delicious. The eggplant sandwich was not good. Eggplant can be iffy and this eggplant was tough. It was more of a fork and knife eggplant than a sandwich eggplant. I took a couple bites of the cheesecake. That was good, three of us tackled a single slice. Our server did a great job of managing our large group. Refills were timely and our orders all came out right even though we seemed to be playing musical chairs.

If you come here on the weekend during peak hours like we did, you need to have your head examined. A constant stream of people coming and going. We felt like cattle. After a 50 minute wait, luckily we were a party of two or it would've been much longer, we were rounded into our tiny booth. We enjoyed a basket of complimentary bread (no silverware so we had to dip our bread into the butter packets like heathens.) After looking through their 79 page menu I decided on their herb crusted salmon and shrimp scampi. The salmon was very tiny and no way crusted in herbs. Tasty but small. The shrimp scampi was also pretty good but only consisted of 3 shrimp. My girlfriend got an Asian chicken salad or something to that effect and the Asian plum dressing was the best thing on our table. Pretty solid. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that their mashed potatoes that came with my meal was a 5lb mass of sheer density. Could've been used as spackle. As I sit here belching and farting from tonight's meal I promise I'll never step foot inside this place again. I don't get the appeal. Food was ok but it's not worth the headache, not by a long shot.

This place is nothing special. Shame on me as I have gone to a Cheesecake Factory a few times and every time I leave I say how overpriced they are. Food is mediocre, and well overpriced. The cheesecake is one of the very few highlights of this place. Unless I'm forced I won't go here again!

The menu almost had too many choices. I didn't have time to look at half of it before I ordered, even after asking for more time. I ordered the fish tacos which were good (not great), but I couldn't believe how big the plate was for a lunch. Perhaps they should cut down on portion sizes to cut the price a bit?

I have ben to this Cheesecake Factory 3 times now... 2 out of 3 have been pretty poor experiences, and my most recent trip was bad enough to A) talk to the manager about it, and B) Decide never to go there again... We had 5 of us in our group, and were coming from the bar already with drinks. Our waitress was prompt in coming over and chatting with us, but took 10 minutes to get water out to us.. Not a huge deal, but it was a sign of things to come.. Apps came out quick and were pretty decent (calimari and some king of spring roll things). Then the wait began. About 30-40 minutes after ordering, 2 entrees came out. About 10-12 minutes after that, 2 more came out. This led to 4 of us having food in front of us getting cold, and 1 unlucky diner in our group not having anything. I should mention now that our waitress has stopped by 4 or 5 times without clearing the appetizer plates (empty) or asking to get us another round of drinks. We ask for more drinks, 3 beers that are on tap, and we wait. We wait for our last entree to come out.. We wait for beers... The beers took over 10 minutes. We could have walked to the bar to get them in shorter time, hell, we could have walked across the street to the pub and got them shorter. Finally, well over an hour since sitting down, our last entree arrives.. This is a solid 20 minutes after the first persons food came out. The food wasn't to thrilling. I think some of it could have been better if it had not been sitting for 20 minutes (while politely waiting for everyones food to arrive).. But some of it was just flat-out bland. Nothing anyone said was great, and the hibachi steak (the one we waited on) was bad enough only to have a few bites and call it quits. I asked to speak to the manager, which I rarely do.. He came over and we explained what had happened. He checked the ticket times of the food and bar and told us nothing took more than 4 minutes to come out from the bar, and that our server forgot to put in someones entree, thus it had to be remade. I suggested that no ones food should have come out early or late, creating the 30 minute parade of entree-at-a-time. He tended to agree with all our issues, and made some excuses about being new there and some staff changes. He offered us free dessert (which we declined, we'd already been in the place 2.5hrs), and then took about 15 minutes to get the checks to us. 2 out of 3 times at this Cheesecake Factory = never again... I would probably give it another try if the manager was more understanding and did not make excuses. But, he didn't. So he sucks.

Great place! My boyfriend and I tend to eat here alot because the kitchen stays open a little later than most restaurants (11:00pm). The food is always wonderful. The price is right for the huge portions. The menu is large so eating there alot is never a problem. Yum.

Whatever I order seems to come out correct so I have zero room for complaints. The staff however is another story. First of all Cheesecake Factory how dare you take away the Chocolate Coconut cheesecake! Shame on you! When my waiter informed me it wasn't available I was very sad. It was a terrible day and all a girl wanted was to stuff her face with some high calorie cheesecake. (Don't worry I had a salad for dinner!) My waiter suggested the Raspberry and White Chocolate instead and it was lovely. I shared with my friends because we sample each others food like there's no tomorrow. Well when my waiter comes back he says "Well looks like someone liked it you ate the entire thing...wow!" and walks away. First of all it's plain rude to say something like that jackwagon! Mind your manners! Anyway aside from some jerks you should have a nice time.

Long wait times on weekends + No reservations + hunger = Why I don't frequent the factory often. The menu is pretty overwhelming. I think I've read novels shorter than it. On the upside, if you have a lot of picky eaters in your group everyone is bound to find something to eat! I'm not the biggest advocate of chain restaurants but The Cheesecake Factory is one of the better options. Rather than ordering a single entree, I decided to make the most of their myriad of options and order three small plates: The Vietnamese sandwiches, crab cake bites, and tuna tartare (See photos). Crab cake bites were the most popular at our table. Light and fluffy texture but still creamy on the inside. Could use a little more crab meat, but those are "crab" cakes for you. The Vietnamese sandwiches are banh mi inspired. The dish comes as three small bao sandwiches but are pretty filling. The tuna was well prepared but they could have gone slightly lighter on the soy sauce. Overall this is a good choice for parties of several people as long as you don't mind having to wait for a table.

Same as any Cheesecake Factory out there... Get out and try something from a local business :-)

Sadly, The Cheesecake Factory USE to be one of my favorite restaurants. We ate there today and it was just okay. Our table, 4ppl shared the lettuce wraps. There were 5 tiny strips of chicken for a large platter of lettuce leaves and fix-ins. It tasted good but skimpy on the chicken. We also ordered the Artichoke crisps...they were edible, very greasy though and ailoi was not very flavorful. My husband ordered the Thai Chicken pasta and it had hardly any sauce. My father got the pasta with meat sauce and my Mom got the burrito. They enjoyed their food. My meal (the most expensive at $19.99) was the worst. I ordered the shrimp scampi/Steak Diane combo. Most of the plate was filled with mashed potato's....I am talking more than 4 servings worth although tasty. It came with 3 medium shrimp and the scampi cream sauce was good. BUT, the steak Diane was awful. The wine sauce tasted like water sauce. I complained to the waiter who brought out MORE sauce which was a little more wine tasting but had a large layer of oil sitting on top. On the plus side, we were seated nearly immediately.....we use to have to wait up to 1-2 hours......maybe that should have been a warning. Oh, my Peach Bellini was very good and I would order it again. Next time I go, I will just get a couple of Peach Bellini's and cheesecake. ~review by Mrs. Gary~

It's really hard not to like the Cheesecake Factory and honestly I really tried to find things here I didn't like, but they truly have a pretty good thing going. I typically go for the smaller, locally owned, hole in the wall, hidden treasure type places, not a chain like Cheesecake Factory, but everything here is pretty good. Of course the atmosphere is really nice, huge 30ft ceilings, roman looking columns, nice lighting, everything is in order. The service really good, my only nit pick is that our server seemed like he was reciting his lines from a script, loosen up man! The food was excellent, from the Ahi tartare to the buffalo blasts, to the cheesecake and coffee, it was all very good! Great place for a date, business luncheon, etc. You could come here in jeans and a t-shirt or a suit and feel comfortable and that's a good thing! Good job for the broad apeal, great food, and excellent customer service! I'm sure we'll visit again, good thing the gym is right around the corner to work off all of the cheesecake!

Wonderful vibe, great food, attentive staff, superb location at The Greene overlooking the green itself. Only snag...they put too much cream on top of the cheesecake. It's not necessary.... ;-)

I guess I'll be the dissenter and write that the Cheesecake Factory is only OK, and it certainly wouldn't make my "top 20 things to eat if I'm going to die" category. Went last night at around 9:30, still an impressive wait, but not too bad. It's part of an outdoor mall so such is live I guess. A very large place with high ceilings and modern decor, it's a little loud for me, definitely not the spot for a romantic dinner (plus we were practically sitting on top of the folks next to us). Wine list is so-so, and the food was not memorable. The mixed green salad was ok, the roasted beets were a nice touch though. The pasta was forgettable - I ordered the garlic pasta and there wasn't anything especially garlic about it. It is essentially the same dish as the Bistro Shrimp less the swimmers and with a different mushroom. Service was fine, although it took a while to get two glasses of wine. Overall, meh. I would eat there again if I had to. 2.5 stars.

I've dined at this Cheesecake Factory a couple of times prior to my most recent trip. This time, my party consisted of my husband and two other couples. We waited about an hour for a table, which was to be expected at 8:00 p.m. on a Saturday. Once seated, it took no time at all to place our orders and receive our food. I observed that everyone's hubcap-sized plates were filled with food, mine included (gigantic grilled cheese sandwich with fries). Food was good, service was great...I asked for a birthday sundae (which was tiny!) for my brother, and they asked if I would like a serenade or just the sundae. Kudos for giving me the option! Overall, it was a good experience and I will likely dine there again.

I'm typically a huge fan of the Cheesecake Factory but I'll be reconsidering any return trips. I'm not opposed to waiting to be seated. However, it tends to test my patience, when you quote me one hour and seat me at the 2 1/2 hour point. Why is it, that after waiting patiently for an hour, that my repeated inquiries were uniformly answered with the same canned, "you are the next table to be seated" response? You start to wonder when your party of seven is seated after the party of ten, who has waited half the time. You'd think that after the manager intervenes you'd get more than a condescending, "you should have said something sooner" and a chair thrown onto the end of a six person table. I provided the benefit of doubt due to their large crowd, but when management deflects blame onto the customer, I tend to be offended. No amount of wonderfully delicious and decedent strawberry cheesecake makes up for poor table management and customer service. RIP Cheesecake factory, you are dead to me.

How could the Cheesecake Factory get anything but 4 stars. I have always loved you, my dear friend. It is odd to me that the factory (that's what friends call it) has reached suburban Ohio. I had the Cajun chicken pasta sans chicken. I know this is dramatic, but I would get my last meal from here, except that it would last me for 3 meals. This is not the place for the guy who says "what the hell- let me just undo my belt a little"- No that guy should not go here. That guy should go and find a nice support group.

I stopped in on a Monday afternoon, so there was no wait and it was relatively dead. That said, I walked in through the side door and was greeted and seated immediately. My waitress was excellent. Very prompt and attentive service. I ordered the sweet corn tamale cakes which were delicious. I got the tempura fish tacos as an entrée. These were very good as well. The portions were huge. I ate one of three corn cakes and one of four of the tacos and took the rest to go. I also got a piece of the Adam's Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Ripple cheesecake to go. It was extremely rich but very good. I would definitely return if in the area!

My family chose Cheese Cake Factory to treat me to a Father's Day Brunch. Despite their best intentions, it turned out to be very negative experience. Waiting ten minutes just for coffee should have told us something. After a lengthy, 25-30 wait, my wife's and my brunch were delivered anywhere from tepid to cold. The waitress apologized and offered to replace the meals. The manager apologized and credited both our meals. She should have comped the whole ticket. My impression is CKF isn't really serious about their brunch. It seemed like a bother.

I am giving this such a low review for the horrible service. I know they get the job done, but really when it comes down to spending $30 a head on a meal of like to have some enthusiasm. A sloth has more emotion than most of the servers here. I love the food immensely at every CCF I've been to but the service here makes for an unpleasant experience.

Had never got here but was taking a friend out for dinner who is a picky eater. Had the chicken and dumplings. The dish was good. My friend ended up with a salad the was huge. There was lots of choices on the menu. Needless to say the desert was excellent.

the food was quite tasty and the server was excellent. Unfortunately, one major mistake. My wife ordered gluten free pasta (kudos for having it on the menu), but she found spaghetti mixed in. The manager said it was probably left over from the last batch of pasta cooked in the water. What? Yes, they cooked the GF pasta in the regular pasta water. Definitely contaminated. They comp'd the meal, which was nice, but GF should be GF. Some folks could get seriously ill. As it was, she couldn't eat her dinner - I took it home for leftovers.

Came today for lunch. Server was ok not much personality. Chef manager, Kris Allen, is great though! Started with Mac and Cheese bites. Absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend. Daughter got the spicy chipotle chicken pasta. She said the sauce wasn't to her liking. I had to miso salmon it was great! Sauce was good salmon cooked to perfection. Friend had the Carolina pork sandwich. Tender, bacon cooked perfectly.

I got the lemon garlic shrimp dish and it tasted just, "all right." There was fresh basil in it which was nice, but other than that no flavor really popped out to me at all. It was kind of bland. And the shrimp that cane with it had nice flavor but was cooked in the Shell and it was very difficult to get all the shell bits of, so for me it wags a a bit unappetizing. It came with asparagus which was cooked perfectly. I was just expecting a little more quality (peeled shrimp) and goodness (a little more flavor) from my dish seeing as how it was $18 Our server was excellent and paid close attention to our every need. The manager on duty was very attentive and friendly and stopped by our table many time to check in and visit with my one and a half year old niece who was waving to him everytime he walked by. He noticed her getting a little antsy and two minutes later he showed up with a small bowl of ice cream and sprinkles which she devoured! That was a very thoughtful unexpected treat for my niece and it was very much appreciated. The cheesecakes, as usual, we're awesome! Our table got three slices, the mango keylime, the dulce de leche and caramel (my favorite), and the turtle cheesecake. All very hard not to eat in one sitting!

I love desserts ! What better place to have a slice of a great piece of dessert than "The Cheesecake Factory" ! Beautiful decor , great food, and exceptional cheesecake that only a real sweet tooth could possibly eat an entire slice in one sitting ... Get a to go box! I like sitting at the bar .. Having a drink (most times water) my piece of cake and eating it too ;) ! Fall is here .. So if you've never had it ... Get the Pumpkin Pecan Pie cheesecake ...OMG !!!

Jules and I hadn't been to the Cheesecake Factory in years, but when a friend's birthday popped up, we were eager to celebrate with them. As such, just yesterday, we braved the November cold to head into The Greene and grab some dinner. Now, this review must come with a fairly large caveat. We had a large group in our party--9 of us, in all, which includes one late attendee. However, you'd figure that a place as a big as the Cheesecake Factory would be able to accommodate this well? Well...in truth? Not so much. The service at this Cheesecake Factory was absent-minded and barely competent. Numerous errors occurred throughout our meal: we were brought incorrect appetizers twice, special requests (no salt on a margarita for the birthday boy's father, who's on heart medication) were ignored. My wife's Garlic Noodles with Shrimp were sent back twice, because there were no shrimp on the plate! Our bills were similarly messy, with Jules' and my bill being the only one totally correct. In each case, the waitress did, in fact, do her best to rectify the situation, but the sheer number of mess-ups made the meal a frustrating experience. That said, the food was pretty tasty. The Crispy Cuban Rolls were a neat take on the classic Cuban sandwich, with a delightfully zingy mustard and a flavorful pork filling. My four-cheese pasta was competently done, with plenty of cheese and chicken. A friend's "Bang-Bang Chicken and Shrimp" smelled pretty fantastic, with a delectably scented curry surrounding a massive mound of sticky rice. Our cherry cheesecake--taken to go!--was creamy with good flavor and a solid amount of cherry preserves. Under normal circumstances, when I review a restaurant, good food + lousy service tends to result in a 2 or 3-star review. In this case, as you can see above...no. You see, I woke up this morning feeling a little under the weather. I stepped out of the shower this morning and almost immediately started heaving over the toilet. Out came my dinner, the cheesecake, and everything else I'd eaten yesterday. No amount of good flavor forgives food poisoning. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

The food is good. Lighting and atmosphere are pleasant. Salads are big and come with lots of lettuce. But the cheesecake is where it's at. The first cheesecake I tried was the Godiva chocolate cheesecake. It even comes with a piece of chocolate as a topping. The entire slice is the size of a small cake. It's deliciously sweet.

I've never had a meal here I didn't like. The wide variety of entree options means everyone can find something they like, even picky eaters. Some of my go-to favorites are Shepard's Pie, Mac 'n cheeseburger, and Jambalaya. The real stars of this restaurant are of course the cheesecakes. I'll go out of my way to get a slice to go a few times a week. There are a few reasons I won't give this place a 5 star review: 1) even though you get large portions I still find almost everything on the menu to be very overpriced. 2) they do not take reservations and I've been told several times that they won't seat you until everyone in your party arrives

Getting to and from the Greene is incredibly simple. It's conveniently located off the highway (not sure what it is- I'm not from the area!) and luckily for me- literally 4 miles from my parents' home in Beavercreek. There is ample parking in the lots as we'll as metered parking along the sides of the businesses. Because it is the most moderately priced "nice" restaurant in the area, I've been told the wait time at Cheesecake Factory can be anywhere between 15-30 min. Lucky for me, the longest I've waited at this establishment was only ever ~10 min. Moving on, service at the Cheesecake Factory at The Greene has always been above average. My servers never go above and beyond (servers in Connecticut offer wine/alcoholic choices with my meals), but they've never slighted or ignored my table... It's really whatever. The same can be said about the food. It tastes like every other Cheesecake Factory in the country (CA, OH, MA, NY, etc). Mind you, I find that to be a good thing- I always like to try new things on the menu, but am glad to have sure-fire dishes to fall back to. On a random note, this might possibly be the smallest Cheesecake Factory I've ever been to. Either way, shopping at The Greene can be exhausting. Can't hurt to scarf down a $10 cheesecake greet you at the end of a long evening.

Food was good for a chain restaurant but the service was horrible. As we walked up, more than half the tables outside were empty. We were told it was a 15 minute wait outside. We got a beer at the bar while we waited for a table to open up. Once seated outside, we sat at a dirty table for another 20 minutes. Finally someone asked us had we been waited on. The excuse of taking so long was because we already had a beer. Numerous times we were brought other people's food. And when we finished, we didn't see our waitress for over 15 minutes....we had to go inside and ask about paying our tab because there were not any servers outside. Lastly, the manager was very disengage. He stood behind the hostess stand the entire time just looking around. I will not return to this establishment.

  • K M.

The food is usually pretty good, and one entree is always enough for two meals for me. I've always ordered my food to go from them and they seem to forget my bread every time. Trying their cheesecake should be mandatory, but be prepared to eat salads for a week to offset the caloric intake from a visit.

I like Cheesecake Factory. For a chain restaurant, their food is always good. Never tastes like its been frozen for weeks or processed. I had Vietnamese Spring rolls. Very good. Our server was fantastic. We had a party of 11 with several kids. She was very patient. ***on a side note the hostess was incredibly rude. Also, having a policy of not seating a party until 70% of party shows up is ridiculous. I understand if restaurant is busy or on a wait. We had 50% of party there and other half in the process of parking. The restaurant was almost empty. No reason to make us stand there unnecessarily and wait.

Being a executive chef I hate giving low reviews like this but on this occasion its warranted. To many bad things to name but I'll give you a few I got there they were busy and said I would be on a wait for ten minutes that turned into 40 then the server came and took our drink order and came back 29 minutes later to take food order I had to point out to her I still had no drink then my apps came out but there was no silverware in the store rolled so that took a additional ten minutes. I ordered food to go as well to be brought out later for my grandmother at home her food came out in a box before our food came out then my dates food came out 15 minutes before mine and they burnt my filet mignon young black manager came out apologized I didn't eat I just left on the bright side manager was nice and it could have been worse he could have still charged me full price. I'm going to give another chance one day

This place is like any other Cheesecake factory out there. Overpriced but decent food. Nothing really gourmet though. An appetizer with two dinners and deserts will add up very very quickly so be mindful of that. I have never been disappointed with the food and the wait staff always seems to do an ok job. This is a nice place for a different dinner when you have some extra money to spend. The cheesecake is the only real reason I come here though. Also, their menu is way to large. They really need to cut it down to ensure quality stays high. I also felt the advertising in the menu was a cheap move that completely took away from the high end look they were going for.

I didn't want to cook tonight, so we decided to grab something at Cheesecake Factory. It's very busy as usual, but only 10 minutes wait at 6:00 which is pretty cool. My son had the Louisiana chicken pasta, and I had a few bites from it - it is pretty awesome! It's got a little kick from the cayenne pepper and as you keep eating it, it will get even more spicy!!! Really good!! My mom had lemon garlic shrimp with angel pasta. That was OKAY!! Not enough sauce to give some flavor to the pasta but the shrimp taste great but not many shrimps in that plate. I had the Miso Salmon. Ummmm..... I didn't taste any miso!!! Not sure why the salmon taste more sugar on it than the saltiness of miso.... I didn't taste any miso what-so-ever! One HUGE disappointment for sure. I know I shouldn't be so picky with the chain restaurant like this, but if I'm spending average $17-$20 a plate for dinner, I expect a bit more than what we had tonight. So only one out of three dishes are good, that's why I decided to just give it 2 stars this time. If I ever make it back there, we'll see if it gets better!

Poor bar service. Ordered a drink and the bottle had maybe a half of a shot in it and the bartender was too lazy to get a stool and pick up the unopened bottle and poor the right amount. When I mentioned there was very little alcohol in the drink, she got a manger to get the bottle down and charged me for an additional shot. Not what I would normally expect.

The Cheesecake Factory always seems like a tasty idea (great name, right?) but whenever we dine there, our meals feel heavy, salty, and fatty. Normally, we leave feeling too full, unsatisfied and in need of an undesired nap. Perhaps one reason we feel so exhausted when we leave Cheesecake Factory is that the ambiance almost seems frantic, hurried. It's almost impossible to have a decent convervsation during dinner because of the noise and general over-business.

This was our first time here. Outstanding food and service. The appetizer and main course came out hot and very tasty. The salted caramel cheesecake and strawberry cheesecake were to die for. Highly recommended.

I love this place! The outdoor seating is perfect for lunch after sitting in a cold office all day! They have a ton of options and lots of healthy salads that are creative, HUGE and really good! Not to mention - amazing cheesecake, obviously!

Had never got here but was taking a friend out for dinner who is a picky eater. Had the chicken and dumplings. The dish was good. My friend ended up with a salad the was huge. There was lots of choices on the menu. Needless to say the desert was excellent.

We will be back.. eventually.

Ugh... had to lower my rating. Came back for dinner the other day and the customer service was atrocious. Food was cold and heck if our waitress cared about refilling my drink. I really noticed how close together the tables were this time. We will probably not be coming back.

I'm not big on chain restaurants so that may affect my review a bit. I had lunch here today for the first time with my boss, who is a regular. Walking in, the place has a great atmosphere, and there wasn't a wait. The service was very attentive (probably because the server and bartender knew my boss on a first name basis).

Yum.

THis chain may not be the best restaurant in the world but it is consistently good and provides a variety of options. This location is at the Greene, you cant beat it. I will continue to eat here.

I love this place! The outdoor seating is perfect for lunch after sitting in a cold office all day! They have a ton of options and lots of healthy salads that are creative, HUGE and really good! Not to mention - amazing cheesecake, obviously!

  • K M.

The food is usually pretty good, and one entree is always enough for two meals for me. I've always ordered my food to go from them and they seem to forget my bread every time. Trying their cheesecake should be mandatory, but be prepared to eat salads for a week to offset the caloric intake from a visit.

2) they do not take reservations and I've been told several times that they won't seat you until everyone in your party arrives

the food was quite tasty and the server was excellent.

Had never got here but was taking a friend out for dinner who is a picky eater. Had the chicken and dumplings. The dish was good. My friend ended up with a salad the was huge. There was lots of choices on the menu. Needless to say the desert was excellent.

It was noisy and crowded. I couldn't even hear my friend he had to repeat a lot. I had to wait 50 mins for table. The food was ok except for deserts which i liked the most.
