Food was awesome when they first opened then slightly went down hill over time. The food now is decent for the price. Nothing special, good if you are really hungry and don't want to shop at Dave's supermarket or wait to cook.

This is a nice place. Great value for money. Pretty decent food for really good price. I could have 2 meals in one combo plate. I like most of the spicy stuff I get here. Friendly hosts and good seating capacity. This is definitely a joint for students.

Best fast/Chinese food in Akron. Everything is fresh and cooked to order. I've had several items off of their menu and it's all good. There isn't a single item I haven't liked. Some of my favorites are: General Tso's chicken, sesame chicken, orange chicken, beef mai fun, moo shoo beef, white rice, egg rolls, crab claws, and dumplings (which I'm normally not a fan of). The prices are what you'd expect and the portions are huge. The staff are friendly. You can also order online from their website which is handy. Dine in or carry out. They also deliver to a pretty wide area.

Excellent! I have eaten at so many Chinese restaurants between Akron/Fairlawn and Canton I couldn't even begin to list them. I have eaten Asian food on average at least once or twice a week for a really long time, I love it so much!! I always start with a simple dish to try and these guys nailed it!! The hot and sour soup is awesome!!! The chicken lo mein was so fresh and delicious for such a simple dish!!! Definitely a keeper to try more!!! Food is very impressive and the folks are nice...at least the Asian folks are. Not somewhere I'd dine in unless I had to but will def take out more!

Ordered delivery when visiting a friend's home, the delivery speed was much quicker than quoted on the website. The chicken lo mein and shrimp lo mein were delicious (the noodles were fantastic). The eggroll was okay, but seemed to be entirely cabbage. The boneless ribs tasted good, but would be better on a bed of rice (and their rice had a good taste to it as well). The wonton soup was also very good. For a first time eating from this restaurant, I think I found my new favorite Chinese place to eat from in Akron.

My stepdad was in the hospital at Summa and we didn't feel like dining on hospital food so we found this place a mile away. It's in a plaza with Dave's Supermarket. It wasn't outstanding but I've certainly had far worse. You order at the counter but they'll deliver to your table. There was always business at the counter despite us being one of two tables with people in the restaurant so clearly they remain busy and are a favorite in the neighborhood. The crab rangoon was delicious...but I've never met a crab rangoon I didn't like! I also had the sesame chicken, as did my husband. He's eating my leftovers as we speak. My mom had the cashew chicken which she enjoyed. I debated between 3 & 4 stars. They weren't great but as Yelp explains, 3 stars means "A-OK".

So dissatisfied with the customer service. I have been a very loyal patron for over 5 years and the last time me and my partner went, my partner's card was charged multiple times. The charges totaled over 100 dollars. I would never feel comfortable going back even if I had cash.

Came here 3x already ever since my arrival last week in Akron, Ohio. This place serves decent quality of Asian food and very reasonably priced towards college student population. When you come here for lunch, they got lunch special combos that comes with a side of fried rice and an egg roll! What a treat! Try their pork/chicken/seafood fried rice, comes with very generous portion for less than $7!

So im sitting at home with nothing to do wondering what to do for dinner. I really want chinese but so many of the local places have closed or I have tried and they just aren't good. Now I am sure we all know how fast food chinese tastes. Its close to full service but just does not measure up. Even the best, you can tell was reheated or prepared earlier in the day. I was searching online and found the jade dragon. They have their own website. I was searching through and I noticed their website was kind of like amazon. They had an add to cart feature. They had an online ordering system. I thought okay I live in Tallmadge they are in Akron near the college I will have to go get it. Nope their delivery area is 5 miles around. They actually have a google map with a green area they deliver to. If your in the area they deliver. You can even add your tip ahead of time. They deliver. I made my online order and opted to pay cash. It was fast and easy. I am also weary of using credit online so next time I might give that a try. The estimated delivery time was 7:37. It was fifteen minutes late. I dropped a star for that. But I did call and check up and the person asked what my address was and said she left ten minutes ago give her a few minutes. Sure enough she was there. The food was actually good. I usually get wonton soup. wontons can be pre made and if left to sit can have a watery taste. These did not. In fact when I bit into the wonton I tasted the filling. Now I am not sure what most other places fill their wontons with but most times I can tell its red meat. I could not tell you if its ham , ground meat or something. But I know it was red meat. In this case i could taste ham or pork. Almost like pepperoni. Really good and different. The egg roll was fresh. slightly crisp. and my meal was good as well. Really surprised. Would go back. Pretty cool.

Great local Chinese take out. Prices are very reasonable. Personally, I'm a fan of their chicken lo mein. The inside of the restaurant is kind of weird, such that it is just a few tables and chairs with no waiters or waitresses. You basically order your food like a fast food place (at the counter) and then grab it and sit down. Still a great take out place (they have delivery within 5 miles too).

I have had several different dishes from this restaurant and none have been bad. The dumplings are the best anywhere in Akron. The sauces just seem to be more flavorful than other Chinese places. This is a great place. Best Chinese food in Akron as far as I am concerned.

Great Chinese Food. Vegetables are fresh and cooked in great sauce. Crabmeat with cheese the best. Great value for the money.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
