Chicken rolls! I'm usually terrified of ordering these in most pizza joints, cause the ones they have on display have been there since the Ted Kennedy had a 32" waist. Not so here, they pull them fresh out of the oven on a constant basis, and are worth the trip from any part of the island. Drawback? Parking can be impossible at times, but that's a GOOD sign, isn't it?

brother's pizzeria is amazing for this reason: they have at least one cheese pizza always in the oven ready to go, so if you come in without calling ahead and ask for a large cheese pizza you can walk out with one in ZERO wait time. the pizza (not just the cheese) is soooo delicious(my favorites are the vegetable, and the ricotta/tomato). if youre on staten island, go to brother's.

  • Alma Z.

Pizza Yummy! Seriously one of the best pizzerias on the island. The pizzeria is like stepping into old world Italy. Only without actually having to step out of Staten Island.

  • Scott S.

Best place to go for a slice in SI. Open late. Quick, no-frills service. "Brothers.... ten minutes!"

  • Sean H.

Never had any complaints about this pizza place really. When I was living in Staten Island I did get a slice from their on occasion between midnight and 1 am on the weekends.... Some are complaining about the prices now being way to high which I can agree. Simply go and buy a slice which should fill your hunger at night for a bit. At least they have sicilian slices everyday.

The best! Fast, friendly and delicious. No nonsense, just what's it's supposed to be.

  • Jennifer P.

By far the best pizza in Staten Island. Whenever I'm in town I make sure to stop by. One of my favorite things to get from Brother's are the chicken panini's. I've also tried their plain slices, sicilians, grandma slices and the rice balls which are all really good. If you are ever in Staten Island be sure to check them out.

This might have been the best crust on a Sicilian I've had. Perfectly cooked, that flavorful doughy chewiness in the middle. Like Umbertos in the good days, or L&B on their best day. The problem was the sauce was terrible - cheap, tasted like it was from a can and the cheese (which there was a ton of) was not good quality. Too much oil as well. But match that crust with a great sauce and cheese and there you would have it - the perfect pizza.

Best pizza on the island. The sauce is awesome. My favorite place to go get some good A New York pizza

    (5)
  • Eddie J.

Went there with my uncle who is a regular, Pizza was very good def enjoyed the Reg and the Sicilian, if I am ever back to Staten Island I'll def be back, great service n staff and the only reason I gave it a 4 was cause I never carry cash these days, its all plastic and they don't take credit cards lol.

    (4)
  • Laura L.

by far the best!!! Food is awesome! I loved the chicken roll, garlic knots and regular slice. Seriously the best I've ever had on this island.

    (5)
  • Joanna N.

There is not much I miss about Staten Island but Brother's is definitely an exception (also, A+C deli, East, Pasticerria Bruno, mm). I have not found any other pizza spot that makes a grandma slice as crispy and delicious as yours. Their sicilian is phenomenal as well. I miss the days of inhaling 3 slices before driving down Forest Ave to catch a movie at UA !!

  • A B.

One of the best if not best classic Brooklyn style pizza on Staten Island. The pizza pies are big and delicious. The crust and sauce are great, the cheese not salty. Great classic pizza. The place is cash only and doesn't deliver; demand is so high they don't have to deliver or accept cc. Love the pizza!

    (5)
  • Kenneth S.

Best pizza anywhere the squares are the bet in the world these guys have been around forever Price is high $250 for a square is a little excessive The service is not so great

    (3)
  • Francesco M.

Always busy. Always a good sign. Brother's Pizza is definitely one of my favorites on Staten Island. I love that you can place your order, grab a seat and the pie comes to you. I'm a big fan of chicken rolls and since I moved to Staten Island, I haven't had a better one yet. Great stuff.

    (4)
  • Katie C.

Pizza is downright disgusting. If your sauce comes straight from a can at least take the time to add some spices. This sauce is the most bland, tasteless sauce I've ever had. Next, the cheese is very obviously cheap, poor quality cheese that has a plastic texture. The crust is horrible, undercooked and doughy. Had a an order of mozzarella sticks, absolutely atrocious and most certainly the worst I've ever had. The pizza and mozz sticks warrant less than 1 star. however, the one saving grace is the cheesesteak. It's actually edible and it's huge. For that reason I give this place 2 stars. Lastly, the staff is rude. I don't really care if your food is good but since it's not, be a little nicer.

  • Jennifer D.

If you like a classic style NY slice Brothers is delicious! The chicken rolls and Sicilian are great too! Always plenty of seating inside and parking is never too hard to find.

  • Alison W.

I haven't had any pizza better than this, in ANY borough. Their grandma slices are BOMB.

    (5)
  • Keith C.

this pizza store is busy all the time and food is always fresh you can always get a fresh slice of pizza here nothing sit around long fresh pizza is always the best pizza

  • Ronald D.

I'm not sure what all the fuss is about this pizzeria. All I could remember is that it's always packed with kids and that the pizza is greasy. I know they have been on T.V. but there are way better pizza joints on the Island.

    (1)
  • Joanna M.

Great pizza, crispy crust, and great ratio of crust to sauce and cheese. Great specialty pies and rice balls too. Brother's owner's son opened Giove's pizza which is great too. Great staff, yea they are "NY" but we all are so know what you want to eat/order or ask what they got specialty wise that day and have a sense of humor.

    (4)
  • Lauren V.

Brothers had THE BEST pan slices around! Mini rice balls and the chicken rolls are great too. The staff is nice and quick with your order and they have plenty of seating . They only take cash , but they have an ATM inside as well.

    (5)
  • Staten I.

The Sicilian pie is their best pie. Most flavorful out of the rest, even better if you add pepperoni, yum! The guys running the place are not very welcoming they have to be in their 30's. They are very abrupt and rude and do not care about good customer service. Deninos had worse reviews and I had better service there. So I will occasionally stop in for their Sicilian pie but other than that, they do not deserve 5 stars to me.

    (3)
  • Rob G.

Best Pizza around!!! Never had a sicilian like there's. Every time I go to the island I make it a point to go..

    (4)
  • Bruno F.

There are only a few good spots for pizza near this area of Staten island. Brothers has to be one of them. I've been here before in person and have ordered to go as well. Their cheese is amazing. I'm not to crazy about their sauce on the regular pie. On the grandpa/grandma square slice is off the hook. I would definitely recommend this place if your in the area

    (4)
  • Jane H.

My absolute favorite rice balls and potato croquets!!! Everything is delicious never been disappointed!

    (5)
  • Daniel F.

I have been coming here for a decade, and yes the pizza is damn good. In fact the grandma slice is the best thin crust I have ever had. My lovely wife swears by the pan slice which is light and slightly yeasty - not doughy at all. Occasionally I get the chicken roll, but the real star here is the pizza. It is true that the guys are tough, blue collar NYC guys, but have some sympathy they are slaving away in front of ovens all day. Cut them some slack.

    (5)
  • Ali C.

I love this place! I come here all the when I visit my family in Staten Island. Everything here tastes awesome, but my favorites are definitely the broccoli rabe calzone and Sicilian pie. The people who work there are very warm and welcoming. If you want to eat the best pizza of your life, go here. It's by far the best pizza in all of NY!

    (5)
  • Maggie H.

The square slice is heaven on a plate. It's crispy and cheesey and the tomato sauce is divine. I could live off this stuff. Their square slice is my most favorite pizza on the planet. And I love pizza, so please trust me. They don't deliver and are cash only. The guys behind the counter could be a little nicer, they are not rude just a little abrasive.

    (5)
  • Christine J.

Grandma slices, sicilians, pan slices and rice balls are really good. I wouldn't just go there and get a regular slice because there's much better options. I've even had their chicken noodle soup which was surprisingly really good!

    (4)
  • Paul C.

The pizza is OK it used to be better. It is kind of bland tasting and they think nothing of giving you old pizza... And some of the staff members are rude and insulting to customers.. The owner (a good guy) should read this. I think I am done with Brothers after 20 years... Ciao..

    (2)
  • Giovanna A.

Get the grandma slice! It's light & delicious! If you like cheesy pizza, get the pan slice. Riceballs are good, but their chicken rolls are the best! They have other items you can get for the non-pizza lovers. There usually is a line & it is always busy, but the pies are always fresh because they make them so frequently. Open late too for those who like to eat after hours.

    (4)
  • Rob B.

The best pizza in Staten Island. The pizza is even better the next day after you warm it up in a toaster oven.

    (5)
  • Edwin A.

Pizza is fantastic! Quick service..big dinning area..clean..small parking lot..very good food in the end..enjoy!

Best pizza on Staten Island and one of the best in the five boroughs!

  • Stephen G.

I have been going to Brothers Pizza for 30 years. Unfortunately, as much as I love their Pizza I have to give this place a one star and here is why. My recent visit, when I went to pick up my Pizza (they never delivered) one of the owner's sons who now runs the place who looks to be in his mid to late 20s exhibited the most despicable behavior I have ever seen by a business owner. He was yelling and cursing at his workers in front of all the customers and he would not let up. Most of his workers are Mexican and some speak very little English. He was literally talking to them like they were not even human. I know these workers probably have very little choices on where they can work, so they had to put up with his ugly behavior. After 30 years, I can never give this place another dime. I'm boycotting it and I hope others do to. This jerk showed no respect for his workers and could care less about the customers that had to listen to his vulgar tirade.

Closest pizzeria to my house along the S48 route so if I coming from the gym and want a slice (with a side of guilt) I stop in here. People rave about the pizza, but I feel it's average at best and definitely not better than the pizza around my Brooklyn home. Also, the service is iffy. Sometimes I stand waiting for 5 minutes while the people behind the counter just talk to each other. Other times I'm getting hit on and asked if I really want my food to go. At least be consistent with your approach and well ... just give me my freaking pizza! Anyways, more on the food. The garlic knots always seemed to be drowned in oil, not my preference. The plain slices are hit or miss. I would suggest to always wait for a fresh pie. If a sicilian is more your thing, always get a corner or the very middle. Pretty sure I'll update my review with more food options since it's 2 minutes from my house. lol

The a'beetz is ok, nothing special....alot better places within driving distance of here.

    (1)
  • Shannon O.

Terrible customer service. Place "opens" at 11, employees get there by 11:15, food starts prepping by 11:20. Unless you have 2+ hours for lunch, go elsewhere

  • Tamara K.

Walked into Deninos and it was packed. I was starving so I hit the first pizzeria. Never ate at brothers before...it was just chance. Ordered two slices and an order of calamari. Soooo glad Deninos was packed. Found a pizza gem...enjoyed it more than Deninos. Loved loved loved their calamari!

    (4)
  • Artie K.

best pizza in staten island, maybe all of nyc. hands down. the sicilian (don't call it "square") pie is the best i've ever had. period . go there !!!!

    (5)
  • Lola A.

By far the best pizza on the North Shore of Staten Island! My favorite is the Sicilian, and I always get the middle piece because its cheesy, saucy and awesome.

    (5)
  • Chamile U.

My favorite place to go when I visit NY. Wish I was there right now. Their pizza is amazing!

    (5)
  • Franco V.

The white pie is one of the best. Their rolls are unparalleled to anyone else's on the island. And the rice balls are cheesy goodness.

    (4)
  • Alyssa R.

I never have a bad experience when I eat here or order from here. They have the best pizza on the island. I love their Square pie & their potato croquettes. They're not too expensive & have a nice area set up where you can eat there. They are very quick paced which is good if you're in a rush. They do enough business where they never have to deliver, but if they did it wouldn't be a bad thing.

Event: Holiday Staten Island Pizza Crawl Date: December 30, 2009 Time: Approximately 5:15pm In attendance: Atif I., Michael F. Pizza ordered: "Grandma's Pie." Grandma? Are ya kiddin'? If "Grandma" had anything to do with this pizza, she's the grandmother who's so senile she uses Mobil 1 instead of olive oil. No, this was not Grandma's pie. I'd heard rave reviews from none other than my first cousin, who has lived in Staten Island for a couple of decades. She'd know, I told myself. I mentioned Joe and Pat's to her and she said, "I like Brother's better." That pretty much sealed the deal. We drove from the Snarky-tatious manse directly to Brother's. We parked around the back. Nice. Unlike at Salvatore's of SOHO earlier that day there was adequate parking. Upon entry and examination of the offerings on the menu, "Grandma's Pie" stood out. Why? Because any pie that invokes the name of "Grandma" had better be worthy. One of the phalanx of doods behind the counter explained when asked that "Grandma's Pie" was like the fresh mozzarella round one behind the counter, only square. I am even positive he specified it came with fresh mozzarella, but when the pie arrived, although it was indeed square, it had that generic NY pizza cheese on it. I have to say, I was not excited by what I was looking at, but I was still hopeful. I brought it over to the table where Atif and I had situated ourselves and we started to pull slices off. I took a bite and was even less excited. The crust was tough. I asked Atif for his assessment after bite number two. He said, "It's too soon." The situation was changing rapidly, though, and he would make his pronouncement shortly. The cheese was pervasive, but it started to lose its hot, gooey cheesiness quickly and began turning into Goodyear All-weather Radial with haste. Two slices in each and we were not amused. I looked up at Atif and he said, "How about we get this wrapped to go and make our way to Goodfella's?" That was pretty much that. Without a moment's hesitation I took the remaining slices (five, to be exact) back up to the counter where they were boxed. Atif and I agreed that the remaining slices should be given to some hungry homeless person who might be more appreciative. Upon getting close to my apartment that night I circled a bunch to find someone to give them to. Maybe it was a sign, but I couldn't find anyone. It's probably best, though; I wouldn't want to inflict that pizza on anyone. Two stars is being generous. I'ma have some WORDS with my cousin about what we call pizza. Fo'. Sho'.

  • Mardory V.

I have to say I love old school Bronx pizza--huge slices, thin crust and slip and slide, melted cheese. Brother isn't that, but it isnt horrible either. It's sometimes hit or miss, depending on the night, how crowded it is, and who happens to be behind the counter (working or just hanging--yeah, it is weird). They dont deliver but they do stay open much later than any other options in the area. I prefer Brother's to Denino's only because there are many times I've had a slightly burnt pie bottom at Deninos. When I get a chewy pie (under done??) from Brother's I can at least save it by putting it back in the oven, not so much with burn.. Overall: can't hurt to try it but make sure you take a look around when you walk in OR ask for a fresh pie--though dont be surprised if they act less than friendly!!!!

  • Fay I.

I have to say when I first heard about this place I wasn't too sure. They say don't judge a book by its cover right? There sauce is pretty tasty Ill give them that but I really didn't think much of there cheese. It tasted like cheap cheese (aka grandee cheese) not the good cheese (aka paleo cheese) I liked the grandma slice better then the regular slice. There potatoes croquettes were AWESOME! I really enjoyed them. There open pretty late which is a plus for late nighters.

  • Marissa K.

Best Pizza on Staten Island hands down! Everything is fresh and delicious. Every time my family comes to staten island from Florida its the first stop we make after they arrive. The guys working are funny and always pleasant. Fun atmosphere, clean and the little seating area is nice. Get your number, pick your own table and enjoy an awesome pie! Their late hours are awesome when you want a slice on the weekend after bar hopping on forest ave.

Well Worth the trip everytime!! Deep dish kills!! & the chicken rolls I take home to eat later! The sauce is fresh & tasty!! Not overbearing at all just perfect!

Great pizza and the best square slice ul ever have

    (4)
  • Gabi A.

I must admit, at first I HATED this joint. Perhaps because I'm born and raised in Brooklyn and found anything less than Brooklyn pizza...well not pizza. Then I moved close to this joint and realized there is nothing quite like their sauce, and how the cheese overfows the slice. It's pricey per slice (roughly $2.50) but they're great for groups and open late night...so if you and your friends have the late-nite munchies this place is sure open. The only problem I have with this joint is that sometimes I get hit on by the people behind the counter, but it's so worth the slice. See ya there.

    (4)
  • Steven H.

First time I went here, I got a regular slice. Tasted pretty average, didn't get the hype about the place. Then I tried a Sicilian the next time. That's what Brothers does best! Thick, great sauce, cheesy, just plain delicious. The chicken rolls are also pretty awesome. Grandma slice is over-priced and over-rated on Yelp, the regular square is so much better!

    (4)
  • Brittany R.

Probably the best pizza on Staten. i also recently tried the baked ziti, garlic knots, and potato croquettes. yum, yum, and yum. i was very impressed by the baked ziti. its so simple but they make it exactly the way i like it, unlike many other places on this island that ive been to. might be the best garlic knots on the island too.

  • Rebecca S.

The pizza's only so-so. Sorry Brother's...I lived on Staten Island for the better part of 4 years and found Denino's to be more my cup of tea. Overall I'd take my hometown Jersey slices over all Staten Island pizza any day, I am after all an Italian Jersey girl and sometimes you have to put your money where your mouth is, but I think hometown NJ could put you in your place...c'mon, you guys are a little cocky for an only decent product. Because you can't always get what you want and $5 pies from Rita's went down the drain in 2006, I pledged my SI pizza allegiance pretty much exclusively to Joe and Pat's or Denino's. I do however love Fili and his mad dough tossing skills on Jerseylicious, so two stars for you!

  • Peter D.

There was a time before Yelp. A time before the internet. A time when people had to risk it all and eat food at a place they really knew nothing about. A time when word of mouth could make or break an establishment's reputation. If you went somewhere and ate good food, you'd be sure to tell everyone you know about the best pizza you ever had. Conversely, had this place been horrendous you'd be sure to let everyone know just how atrocious the food was. It's amazing how descriptive people can be when they are repulsed by something. Brother's Pizzeria has been delivering Staten Island's best Sicilians', aka square, for as long as I can remember. Ironically, they don't deliver. One of my fondest memories of Brother's as a child was going there on a Friday night during Lent. I could swear that every Catholic family on Staten Island was there at 6pm to pick up a Sicilian pie. Pie after pie would come out and you had to fight for yours or you'd be waiting forever. It was organized chaos and it was beautiful. As I got older, Brothers became an even bigger part of my life. It was open late and a great place to stop by after hanging out all night. Brother's is always crowded and worth the wait if a pie wasn't ready. Of course, you could always have a chicken roll to hold you over. Now larger, and the inside changed, I'm happy to say that Brother's has not. I just scarfed down two Sicilians and I have a chicken roll for later. As I bit into the the thick cheesy Sicilian, memories came flooding back. The gravy/sauce, a debate for another day, is what makes the Sicilian so good. If you're looking for warm hostesses and charming servers, then go check out one the new fly by night trendy spots in Manhattan. If you're looking for damn good pizza then Brother's is where you want to be.

Brothers is great. Staten Island pizza. Been twice. Had a pepperoni pie, sicilian squares, and a chicken roll. All were pretty good. I will probably go back.

Old neighborhood that's a hit or a miss. Far from Manhattan. Amazing damn good pizza.

    (5)
  • Gepo M.

Sorry guys 2 stars for you. I have had pizza all over NYC and I just don't get the hype. Walk in and your ignored by snobby wana-be mini sopranos. Take a look at their floor behind the counter, Repulsive. The few times I have been in there I had rubber for pizza. Tiny slices and over priced.

    (2)
  • Alvin B.

I would have to agree with the other review on attitude. However, I will begin with the order over the phone. The store now has a dominant staff of Mexicans, who evidently have not mastered the English language. My wife had to repeat the order so many times that she had to ask for an interpreter. When arriving to pick up the order it was chaos because I increased the order by one shrimp. Wow you would have thought I asked them to crack the atom. Then it became a issue of price, which they meaning the Mexicans thought, that five dollars more to the order was going to break the bank. They kept repeating it to each other because they saw I was getting annoyed. Customer treatment is a key requisite for me so its "Nos vemos" NOT.

I heard this place was good so I stopped by and ordered a "Grandma Pie". It was delicious! I would go back but I live far from this pizzeria! But I have Vi Pizza in Queens which is just as great.

  • Incognito W.

My husband, who is a pizza connoisseur if I must say lol, told me how I had to try this place. I did and hated it. Not sure what the hell I ate, deep dish, Chicago style but for almost 4 dollars a slice, it tasted like I ate something from the frozen food section. The mozzarella sticks are good, but really Applebee's has better Also, the owner and his posse behind the counter seemed overly obnoxious. Update: We went back. It's really classy, fine dining when as you are waiting at the counter you get to hear the 17 year old gotti jr's behind the counter, think it the owner's kid, bragging about the girls they've banged. I mean this is a professional establishment? Pathetic..Guess he had to take some time out from washing hair lmao...

  • Sulbey R.

This is place use to be the best place to grab a slice of pizza in the island but unfortunately, the quality of the pizza went down a little but its still my favorite..

  • Laurie J.

When I'm craving a cheese pizza, Brother's is the place to go!

    (5)
  • Helen T.

For me, this is the place you visit when you get really hungry after hours and everything else is closed. They are open late in the night on the weekends and always filled with people. Their pizza slice is big and delicious. They also have the best mozzarella sticks and rice balls, which come with a red sauce that is the best. They do not deliver, so you have to go there to pick it up or you can eat inside because they have a big dining room.

    (4)
  • James A.

A lot of Staten Islanders rave about this place. To be honest, they are OKAY and nothing extraordinary. One day a while ago, I went in there and ordered a chicken francaise hero and they looked at me like I was retarded. After 10 minutes of explaining to them how to do it, they gave me the chicken on a dish and a loaf of bread. I only go here when I am in the direct area, because they are conveniently located and are open late, but if you asked me to rate them towards the big players around the Island and in Brooklyn, I would say they were a 1 or a 2. By the way, they are overpriced.

    (3)
  • Bren S.

I wish I still lived in delivery distance of this place. I used to come here all of the time after school, after church - after skating - anything... Haven't been there in a while - but I bet they're still going strong. Oh and Joe & Pat's can't hold a candle to Brother's - that's straight blasphemy. I almost threw up a little in my mouth at that thought.

    (5)
  • Sabrina S.

Over rated they are to cocky with themselves they used to be awesome now they think cause they get a little more money coming in and a dining room there all that...very overpriced I rather go get 2 slices and a drink for 4 bucks down the street . I used to love them when they delivered and actually had the Italians making the pizza and weren't so pricey

Honestly,I've had better pizza at the jersey shore and if you've had pizza down the shore you know what I mean..and theres no need for these d-bags to act like d-bags...seriously...place sucks....don't believe the hype,go down the block to denino's

    (1)
  • James L.

As a native Staten Islander, surrounded by mountains of options for pizza, my favorite neopolitan slice (regular slices) is still here at Brother's. No toppings...plain slices and a bottle of water. Awesome everytime!

    (5)
  • Brandice H.

Great pizza, garlic knots, calzones. Nice/ friendly staff, clean environment. parking in rear. You haven't lived until you tried brothers pizzeria. $7.50 for 2 regular crust pizza slices, 4 garlic knots and a bottle of water.

  • Kevin R.

This was on TV? I didn't even know that, and I've been here for 13 years. Wow. Brother's Pizzeria is probably one of the best pizzerias on Staten Island - I don't know why, but I feel it is a tad underrated. Staten Island has Denino's, Goodfella's, Joe & Pats, and other fine pizza establishments, but I have different standards of pizza. Those that come from bars, those that come from restaurants, and those that come from straight out pizza joints. This is a straight out pizza joint, but they have done a lot of work to the place, and it looks very nice and is much more spacious than it was in years past. I usually have Brother's when it is a weekend and my family wants pizza. I haven't had a normal slice from here in years, simply because the Sicilian pie here is incredible. It just tastes so fresh. The only problem is that they do not deliver what so ever, so you will have to order take out - other than that, this place has a great Sicilian pizza. I guess you can say it is Staten Island's version of L & B, if you don't want to pay bridge tolls.

This happens to be my favorite Staten Island pizza. Denino's and Joe & Pat's might be more popular but for me their slices are too thin, I like a thicker slice and Brothers is the one I love!

All I can say is GRANDMA slice!!! Seriously everything in this place is delish, by NYC standards prices are normal to a lil on the steep side but my fav thing by far is the grandma slice. Thin crispy crust, fresh tomato, fresh mozzarella, fresh everything sooo good! A must try if in Elm Park or in S.I. !!

This pizza is the worst. I can't fathom how anyone could give this a review over one star! Do you people know good pizza? I wouldn't feed this dreck to my dog. Take a good close look at the counter area and the floor. It looks like it hasn't been cleaned since this dump opened.

My friend wanted to make the trip to Staten Island to try the famous pizza that was featured on Bobby Flays competition show on the food network. So, we drive from Inwood to S.I. only to find out that they dont actaully make the award winning pie at the pizzeria. So, we basically drove to Staten Island for good standard NY pizza. Prices are a little higher than you might expect, and I'm not including the Verazzano bridge toll!

I have going here for 20+ years. They seem to be a notch above the generic pizzerias on the island, but despite their press, can't seem to crack the upper echelon of pizzerias. Their Sicilian and grandma pies are the real deal here, always consistently good. Their round pies are decent, but nothing to write home about. Pasta entries are hit or miss. Prices though are higher than most. Bring cash. They don't take plastic. My advice if you are picking up an order, send a female, especially young and attractive females. The guys behind the counter are a bunch of flirty dogs. They will drop what they are doing to make sure their young female customers are taken care of and will leave most male customers waiting for their orders a long time while they try their game on the ladies. It sucks, but that's how they've always been.

Davinci's on 18th avenue in Brooklyn will always be my #1 and for a slice Defaras on Ave j in midwood... But brothers is definitely the way to go if your in Staten Island looking for authentic sauce soft dough and a little crisp on the bottom...MMM MMM GOOD

Another Staten Island food institution Famous for their sicilian slice, cannot go wrong provided you enjoy a thick slice of pizza Eggplant rolls are fantastic Reasonable prices given the quality of the food Very busy at lunch time Plan accordingly

Well my Wife and everyone else I know would give five stars, I love the square and they have the best potato croquettes but I believe the round is just ok, my opinion still a great place can't go wrong here

Excellent Pizza! If your looking for a quick slice pizzeria this it. They also have awesome Margherita slices. I'd say it's the best Pizzeria on Staten Island. I'd give it a 5 star but the only problem with this place are the wannabe thugs that stop by with their shirts off. Ownership: please enforce "no shoes, no shirts, no service. " Other than that, the food is great.

Sicilian slice is on point. My friend had the lentil soup which was good. The place is a bit of the experience side but I recommend it.

This is definitely a hidden gem on Staten Island. Everyone's hears about the best pizza being at Denino's, but they're overlooking even better pizza in the area. The staff is hard working and keeps everyone moving to get you in and out effectively. If you ever need a quick slice, Brother's is the place to go. They have late hours too, it's great

I'm going to be in Staten Island twice a week for work, so I figured I should start finding all the good food spots. Started out at Brothers and I was not disappointed. Their pan pizza is REALLLY good. The crusty is cripsy and oily (in a good way) on the outside and perfectly chewy on the inside and the cheese is so gooey and stringy just the way hot mozzarella should be. My only complaint for the pan pizza (and its very minor) is that there could have been a little bit more sauce. I also had the chicken roll, which was basically like a chicken parm sandwich (nothing special there), but as other reviewers have noted, the marinara sauce that comes with it is awesome. The decor is nice, like a classic pizzeria, definitely a place well-worth checking out.

So I ordered a pie half pepperoni and buffalo wings .. 25.00 all together I paid I get to the house and open up the box and one side of the pie crust is on the pie.. The person who cut It didn't really care and just wanted to cut it . Second the pie was not even stretched out evenly so the pie was floppy and every time you picked up a slice you had to hold it with two hand now if the pie was done right you would pick up a slice and fold it with out it flopping to the ground. Over all the pie was soggy unevenly stretched and unsatisf ing . And the wings they were blahhh. This is the first and last time I shall order from this pizza shop.. So that's my review hate it or love it ..o and it wasent busy so what's the reason for a bad done pizza????

Grandma slices are the best! Lots of workers. Fast pace moving and easy quick serving. Pretty good dining area. Very small parking lot. CASH ONLY!

When I moved to SI (From Brooklyn, we're all from there), I was heartbroken at the selection of lackluster Pizzerias, and would try anything and everything people recommended. I've done the brick oven, I've done the places people insisted were "amazing" ( you know, that famous place with the clam pie? meh) and then I came across Brothers. As far as a Brooklyn slice goes.... This place is everything. I've had my friends from Brooklyn over and they not only gave a thumbs up to this place, but said it's better than most from home, which is kinda true. I've never had a bad meal in this joint, and the guys working there make me feel like I'm "home" again. No Delivery, No Credit, Strict Pizza. Don't bother with anywhere else being from the island, go here. It will be your last stop.

PizZa is good. The best thing they have is the Sicilian slice. Amazing. Otherwise everything else a little above average.

My Sicilian was 26.50 extra cheese and pepperoni. Ouch menu is wrong.. will be delish. I've been eating pizza from here for years.. Chicken Cutlet/Veal Parm.. Garlic nots, Calzone ..Although I prefer prosciutto than boiled ham. I like the Chicago pie but the dough is always raw in the middle. Esp if u go extra cheese.

Quite clearly still the best pizza on Staten Island. This place hasn't lost a single step since I first visited in 1997, and I've been coming here ever since! Amazing that you even FIND a place open for that long. A testimony to both the loyalty of Staten Islanders, and the quality of which they will subject themselves to! Come in, have a slice....see what all the fuss is about! You won't regret it! Yours truly, The Pizza Snob...

Even after all these years, this is my go to pizzeria. The turn around on the pizza is fast, meaning you will always get a ftesh, piping hot slice, square etc. It's as good as I remember it and it just keeps getting better as I get older.

Best Sicilian in town. That's about all it's got going for itself anymore. I grew up on Brothers and it's sad for me to say that I got there MAYBE once a year now. Prices are ridiculous at this point, and I just grew tired of service that treated you like you were bothering them by being there. There's a definite arrogance about their staff that just turns me off now.

It's just another Pizzeria! Things that separate a pizza from another pizza is its flavoring.. cooking.. and the service behind it to create that pizza that everyone craves! Then only thing that everyone craves now is to be at a place that was highly recognized as one of the best pizzeria around! That could be the only reason why this place is busy (my opinion). I was there.. and no one cared much about the service.. the owner sitting and watching everything pretending like he was getting his hands dirty and working.. the employees took my simple order 2 slices and 1 order of mozzarella sticks.. the two slices came out.. after a few minutes. and the mozzarella never came out.. waited and waited.. after sitting down and started eating. I even forgot i order mozzarella sticks.. When I went to get it It was over cooked and the cheese already exploded out of it.. He told me to wait he will make another one.. Which I seen him do, went to my seat and came back a few minutes.. I was served the same old ones that came out originally.. I took it and sat down. I then ordered another order of the sticks.. which came was then served cold! I didn't understand.. your slices are average.. your service is nothing extraordinary. there isn't table service.. I was afraid to spend any more money and stitch in my head ever to come back. This was more then enough of an experience for me today. I came here a LONG time ago and it was bit better experience. This experience didn't make it better.. just worst. I doubt my next review will have more then three stars and the owners seem to be high headed & the employers seems to just thing its another regular day at work.. it shows there going down hill and their living on their past experience of how GREAT Brother's was in today's time.

Picked up a Sicilian pie this week. Everyone in my family really enjoyed it. You should always order a pie well done cooked to ensure that your crust is not underdone and the cheese won't be rubbery. It was even great reheated when I brought 2 slices home to have dinner with the wife. When busy they do tend to have "New York Attitude" when handling customers. This place has been around since I was a kid and I have never had a bad experience. Katie C, don't give up on this place yet, just order for delivery lol.
